  • Aug 31, 2026Sulu is an open-source PHP content management system based on the Symfony framework.CVE-2026-82394 · Other software · sulu · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Sulu is an open-source PHP content management system based on the Symfony framework. Prior to versions 2.6.25 and 3.0.8, the preview-link endpoint and src/Sulu/Bundle/PreviewBundle/Application/Manager/PreviewLinkManager.php do not enforce VIEW permission for the target resource in PreviewLinkManager::generate() or PreviewLinkManager::revoke(). An authenticated administration user who knows a target resource identifier can create or revoke a preview link for any page, article, or snippet, including content in a webspace or area the user cannot view. A generated preview URL is public and resolves content by an opaque token, allowing the user or anyone receiving the link to read restricted content without authentication. This issue is fixed in versions 2.6.25 and 3.0.8.

  • Aug 31, 2026Kirby is an open-source content management system.CVE-2026-75594 · Other software · getkirby · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.5 and 5.5.2, depending on the release line, Kirby's media handler in src/Cms/Media.php allowed Kirby\Cms\Media::thumb() to append a path-bearing filename to a validated parent media directory. On nginx, PHP's built-in server, or Apache with AllowEncodedSlashes enabled, a remote attacker could submit encoded slash characters such as %2f in the filename and traverse outside the parent's media directory. Differences between responses for existing and nonexistent thumbnail configurations disclosed whether an arbitrary .json file existed, and a .json file containing a valid filename key could cause the referenced image to be returned and the job file to be deleted. The related file::version path in src/Filesystem/Asset.php also accepted ../ sequences outside the intended index root. This issue is fixed in versions 4.9.5 and 5.5.2.

  • Aug 31, 2026Kirby is an open-source content management system.CVE-2026-75592 · Other software · getkirby · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.5 and 5.5.2, depending on the release line, Kirby's media handler used incomplete filesystem containment checks in src/Filesystem/Dir.php and src/Filesystem/F.php through Kirby\Filesystem\Dir::realpath() and Kirby\Filesystem\F::realpath(). The checks accepted a sibling directory whose path shared the intended root's string prefix, such as /var/www/site2 next to /var/www/site, because they did not require an exact match or a DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR boundary. A remote attacker could use Kirby\Cms\Media::thumb() to create and access thumbnails from image files in a PHP-readable sibling directory when that directory contained a valid .json thumbnail job file, potentially exposing staging sites, backups, or other internal sites and deleting the job file during processing. This issue is fixed in versions 4.9.5 and 5.5.2.

  • Aug 31, 2026Kirby is an open-source content management system.CVE-2026-71415 · Other software · getkirby · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Kirby is an open-source content management system. From 5.0.0 until 5.5.2, Kirby's REST API chunk upload handler in src/Api/Upload.php did not run the relevant upload authorization preflight in Kirby\Api\Upload::process() before Kirby\Api\Upload::processChunk() persisted chunk data. An authenticated user with the access.panel permission enabled but with files.create, files.replace, and user/users.update permissions disabled could submit requests with an Upload-Length header and leave unfinished chunks in site/cache/.uploads for 24 hours. Repeating this process could consume attacker-controlled temporary storage, prevent other users from uploading files, or prevent site logic from storing data, although final permission checks still prevented unauthorized files from reaching the content or site/accounts directories. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2.

Xibo is an open source digital signage platform with a web content management system and Windows display player software. Prior to 4.4.3, missing Authorization in Module::settingsForm allows to view (not change) super admin-restricted module settings and leak the full module entity. Exploitation of the vulnerability is possible on behalf of an authorized user who has access to the Module View feature, which are not granted to non-admins as standard. Users should upgrade to version 4.4.3 which fixes this issue. Upgrading to a fixed version is necessary to remediate. Users unable to upgrade should revoke such privileges from users they do not trust.

  • Aug 28, 2026Graylog is a free and open log management platform.CVE-2026-55867 · Other software · Graylog2 · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Graylog is a free and open log management platform. From 6.2.0 until 6.3.12, 7.0.7, and 7.1.2, the DELETE /users/{userId}/tokens/{idOrToken} endpoint implemented by UsersResource.revokeToken() in graylog2-server/src/main/java/org/graylog2/rest/resources/users/UsersResource.java checks USERS_TOKENREMOVE permission against the attacker-controlled userId path parameter before resolving the token selected by idOrToken. An authenticated user can provide an authorized userId while accessTokenService.loadById() or accessTokenService.load() resolves a token belonging to another user, including a service account or administrator, after which accessTokenService.destroy() deletes that token without checking AccessToken.getUserName(). The issue does not expose token contents, but unauthorized deletion causes integrity impact and can disrupt access-token-based integrations. This issue is fixed in versions 6.3.12, 7.0.7, and 7.1.2.

  • Aug 28, 2026Graylog is a free and open log management platform.CVE-2026-55841 · Other software · Graylog2 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Graylog is a free and open log management platform. Prior to Graylog Server versions 6.3.12, 7.0.7, and 7.1.2 and Graylog Forwarder version 7.3, the FortiGate key-value syslog parser in graylog2-server/src/main/java/org/graylog2/inputs/codecs/GLFortiGateSyslogEvent.java and graylog2-server/src/main/java/org/graylog2/inputs/codecs/SyslogCodec.java mishandles field-like text inside quoted values. GLFortiGateSyslogEvent.getFields() uses KV_PATTERN and QUOTED_KV_PATTERN, while SyslogCodec.parse() invokes the FortiGateSyslogEvent parser; crafted values containing = or backslash-escaped quotes can cause embedded keys such as srcip, dstip, date, time, and tz to remove or overwrite original top-level fields or produce an invalid message that Graylog discards. An unauthenticated network sender who can submit syslog messages can therefore manipulate security-log fields or evade logging to obscure malicious activity. This issue is fixed in Graylog Server versions 6.3.12, 7.0.7, and 7.1.2 and Graylog Forwarder version 7.3.

  • Aug 28, 2026Pimcore is an Open Source Data & Experience Management Platform.CVE-2026-55634 · Other software · pimcore · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9

Pimcore is an Open Source Data & Experience Management Platform. Prior to 11.5.19, 12.3.10, and 2026.1.6, the class-definition import endpoint /pimcore-studio/api/class/definition/configuration-view/detail/{id}/import accepts a DataObject field name that is emitted without an identifier allowlist by lib/DataObject/ClassBuilder/FieldDefinitionPropertiesBuilder.php into generated PHP properties and by models/DataObject/ClassDefinition/Helper/Dao.php into ALTER TABLE identifiers. An authenticated user with the objects permission can inject PHP syntax into the generated DataObject class, causing attacker-controlled code in generated var/classes/DataObject/.php files to run when an object of that class is instantiated, and can also inject SQL identifier content into schema-changing statements. The central models/DataObject/ClassDefinition/Data.php::setName() validation did not reject semicolons, braces, backticks, spaces, or other non-identifier characters. • Aug 28, 2026Piccolo Admin is an admin interface and content management system for Python, built on top of Piccolo.CVE-2026-55485 · Other software · piccolo-orm · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Piccolo Admin is an admin interface and content management system for Python, built on top of Piccolo. Prior to 1.14.0, piccolo_admin/endpoints.py uses superuser_validators to block PUT, PATCH, DELETE, and POST requests by non-superusers but permits GET requests to configured user and session tables, while piccolo_api/session_auth/tables.py exposes SessionsBase.token because the token column is not secret. In deployments that add the Sessions and User tables to create_admin, a non-superuser administrator can call GET /api/tables/sessions/, obtain another user's live session token, replay it as the Cookie id value to impersonate a superuser, and permanently set superuser to true on the attacker's own row. Pimcore is an Open Source Data & Experience Management Platform. Prior to 11.5.19, 12.3.10, and 2026.1.6, Pimcore\Model\DataObject\ClassDefinition\Data\Hotspotimage::getDataFromResource() in models/DataObject/ClassDefinition/Data/Hotspotimage.php passes the field __hotspots object-store column to Pimcore\Tool\Serialize::unserialize() without an allowed-classes restriction after JSON decoding fails. An attacker with a separate capability to write crafted PHP serialized bytes into that column can instantiate available classes and trigger magic methods when an affected DataObject is loaded, which can produce arbitrary file writes or code execution through bundled gadget chains. The related ImageGallery, Block, and Video callers use the same fallback pattern, but the identified June fix changes the Hotspotimage caller only. • Aug 28, 2026Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform.CVE-2026-55067 · Other software · go-vikunja · reported by GitHubMedium 5

Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to 2.4.0, POST /api/v1/projects/{project}/views/{view}/buckets/{bucket} allows the request body project_view_id value to be mass assigned by Bucket.Update in pkg/models/kanban.go. The permission check validates that the bucket currently belongs to the URL project and view but does not validate the body selected destination view, allowing any authenticated user to relocate an attacker-owned bucket into another tenant’s Kanban view. Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to 2.4.0, POST /api/v1/projects/{project}/views/{view}/buckets/{bucket}/tasks accepts a body supplied task_id but TaskBucket.CanUpdate in pkg/models/kanban_task_bucket.go authorizes only the project, view, and bucket from the URL. updateTaskBucket then calls Task.ReadOne without a separate task permission check, returns the victim task contents, and can update the task done state when the attacker chooses a done bucket. • Aug 28, 2026Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform.CVE-2026-55064 · Other software · go-vikunja · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. From 2.3.0 until 2.4.0, a user with Write but not Admin permission on a shared child project can detach it from its parent hierarchy by submitting parent_project_id equal to 0 to POST /api/v1/projects/{project}. The Project.CanUpdate authorization check in pkg/models/project_permissions.go and UpdateProject logic in pkg/models/project.go only gate nonzero parent values, while UpdateProject always persists parent_project_id, so the explicit zero value bypasses the Admin requirement introduced for CVE-2026-35595. Detachment severs the recursive permission-inheritance chain and can disrupt the owner’s hierarchy and inherited collaborator access. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.0.

ProjectDuplicate.CanCreate calls parent.CanCreate on an unhydrated Project containing only the body supplied parent_project_id instead of calling parent.CanWrite, so the target parent write-permission check is skipped. WatchGuard Dimension provides a client-side lock/unlock UI control for management changes. The server-side configuration endpoint does not enforce this lock/unlock workflow state, allowing an authenticated administrator to submit configuration changes directly to the endpoint without first completing the UI unlock step. This allows an authenticated read-write administrator session to bypass the intended editing workflow and overwrite configuration changes being made by another concurrent administrator session.

  • Aug 27, 2026An issue was discovered in the resolv gem before 0.7.2 for Ruby.CVE-2026-80213 · Other software · Ruby · reported by MITREMedium 4

An issue was discovered in the resolv gem before 0.7.2 for Ruby. Resolv::DNS::MessageEncoder wrote a DNS label's length into a single octet without checking its range. A label longer than 255 octets had its length stored modulo 256 but the label data was written unchanged, and thus the bytes on the wire described a different name than the one the application asked to encode. RFC 1035 section 2.3.4 limits a label to 63 octets, and the two high bits of the length octet are reserved for compression pointers. put_string packed the length with put_pack("C", d.length) and put_label used it for labels, and thus any value from 0 to 255 could end up as a label length octet, including the reserved 0x40-0xBF range and the 0xC0-0xFF pointer range. Resolv::DNS::Name.create did not check per-label or total name length either, and thus an attacker-controlled hostname reached the encoder unchanged. An application that resolves an attacker-controlled hostname sends a query whose wire bytes name a domain the attacker chose. A hostname suffix that the application validates against an allowlist becomes padding that never appears on the wire, and thus allowlist and egress checks can be bypassed. The re

  • Aug 27, 2026An issue was discovered in the resolv gem before 0.7.2 for Ruby.CVE-2026-80212 · Other software · Ruby · reported by MITREHigh 7.5

An issue was discovered in the resolv gem before 0.7.2 for Ruby. Resolv::DNS::Resource.get_class, Resolv::DNS::Resource::Generic.create, and Resolv::DNS::SvcParam::Generic.create generate a new class for each unknown DNS resource record (type, class) pair, or each unknown SvcParamKey, encountered while decoding a response. Each generated class was permanently registered both as a constant on Resource (or SvcParam::Generic) and as an entry in a class-lookup hash (ClassHash), and thus the class remained reachable through that constant after the response was discarded. Type and class are each 16-bit values, and thus an attacker controlling DNS responses (a spoofed response, or a malicious or hijacked upstream DNS server) has roughly 2^32 distinct (type, class) pairs to choose from. A single response of a few hundred kilobytes carrying tens of thousands of distinct unknown types permanently grows process memory by tens of megabytes; repeated responses accumulate without bound and are never reclaimed by garbage collection, because the constant keeps each class alive. Any code path that calls Resolv::DNS::Message.decode on attacker-influenced DNS responses is affected. resolv is a defaul
