A security flaw has been discovered in Kakao khaiii up to 0.4. The impacted element is the function khaiii::nn::Linear::open of the file src/main/cpp/khaiii/nn/Linear.cpp of the component JSON Config File Handler. The vendor explains: "khaiii treats the resource directory (--rsc-dir) as trusted input, like a binary or a shared library. To use this defect, an attacker must already be able to write to that directory. With that access, an attacker can change the analysis results without this defect." • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/net: populate CONNECT filter fields for 24-byte sockaddr_in6 io_connect_bpf_populCVE-2026-99042 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.4

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/net: populate CONNECT filter fields for 24-byte sockaddr_in6 io_connect_bpf_populate() fills connect.port and connect.v6_addr for AF_INET6 only when addr_len >= sizeof(struct sockaddr_in6), i.e. 28 bytes. The IPv6 connect paths accept SIN6_LEN_RFC2133 (24 bytes), which already holds sin6_port and sin6_addr. io_connect() passes addr_len to the socket layer unchanged. At addr_len 24 the filter sees family AF_INET6 with port and address zero, while the kernel connects to the real destination. A filter that denies an IPv6 port or address is bypassed. Denying connect.port == P rejects [::1]:P with -EACCES at addr_len 28 but connects at addr_len 24. Use SIN6_LEN_RFC2133 as the threshold. sin6_scope_id stays zero when absent. The threshold mismatch was found by an AI coding assistant (Claude Code) comparing this hook against the net/ipv6 length checks on my instructions; it also drafted the reproducer and this patch. I verified the bypass and the fix in a VM on 7.3-rc6 and that 7.2 has the same code.

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: Fix command skb lifetime during scan setup During PA sync scan setup,CVE-2026-99014 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: Fix command skb lifetime during scan setup During PA sync scan setup, hci_le_set_ext_scan_param_sync() gets the address used for the PA_LINK lookup from hci_sent_cmd_data(). The returned pointer borrows storage from sent_cmd or req_skb, without holding a reference to either skb. The scan worker runs on req_workqueue while hci_cmd_work() runs on the separate device workqueue. After the scan worker loads sent_cmd, the command worker can free and replace it before hci_sent_cmd_data() dereferences the skb. The command payload can also be freed between returning from the helper and comparing the address. The connection lookup's RCU critical section does not protect the command skb. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: unlock inode and extent in caller when io_uring read extent fails btrfs_uring_read_extent() runs only after btrfs_encoded_read() has taken the inode shared lock and the extent lock. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: steam: Rearrange teardown sequence This fixes a narrow window during the teardown sequence where callbacks could still be scheduled during cleanup that would then have a dangling pointer to the now-freed steam struct. This also puts work canceling for rumble and mode switch in steam_unregister, as that shouldn't persist while the client hdev is open.

VLC for Android before 3.7.2 contains a confused-deputy file overwrite vulnerability in FileUtils.getUri() that trusts content URIs based only on the com.fsck.k9.attachmentprovider or gmail-ls authority. An attacker able to supply a crafted XML document to an application using QXmlStreamReader can cause disproportionate CPU consumption during parsing, making the application unresponsive (denial of service). Exploitation requires only that the application parse attacker-influenced XML; no authentication, privileges, or user interaction beyond ingesting the input are needed. There is no loss of confidentiality or integrity — no data disclosure, data modification, or code execution — and the impact is contained to the affected process.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
