[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] With the introduction of Grant Table v2 came the requirement to be able to switch between versions. Switching from v1 to v2 reduces the number of valid grant references, as a bigger shared entry structure is then needed while the shared table doesn't change size. Switching from v2 back to v1 the status frames, which are separate in v2, go away. Code holding, but intermediately dropping and then re-acquiring the grant table lock, sometimes wrongly assumes that said properties wouldn't change across the window in time where the lock is not being held. The v1 -> v2 issue is CVE-2026-62435. The v2 -> v1 issue is CVE-2026-62436.

[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] To manage the system, sysctl and platform operations are used by the control domain or a possible Xenstore domain. Some of these operations may not be executed in parallel, so a system-wide lock each is used. The way those locks are acquired is, however, not providing any fairness. Jul 28, 2026Addressing certain issues, in particular related to operations which may take excessively long and therefore would need preemption, has turned out overly costlyCVE-2026-42493 · Other software · Xen · reported by security@xen.orgHigh 7.5
Addressing certain issues, in particular related to operations which may take excessively long and therefore would need preemption, has turned out overly costly. Since alternatives (HVM/PVH: HAP, PV: shim) are commonly available, the decision was to deprecate the functionality, while still retaining it for people to use at their own (security) risk. Memory-wise small enough guests may still be okay to run.

A security issue exists within CompactLogix® 5380, ControlLogix® 5580, and EN4 communication modules related to CIP Security certificate revocation handling. libcurl would reuse a previously created connection even when some mTLS config related option had been changed that should have prohibited reuse. libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequent transfers to reuse if one of them matches the setup. However, some TLS settings related to client certificates were left out from the configuration match checks, making them match too easily. In particular options related to the private key.

Jun 29, 2026GNU gzip contains a vulnerability in the gzexe utility related to insecure temporary file handling.CVE-2026-41991 · Other software · GNU · reported by cvd@cert.plLow 2
GNU gzip contains a vulnerability in the gzexe utility related to insecure temporary file handling. When the mktemp utility is not available in the user’s PATH, gzexe falls back to constructing a temporary file path based solely on the process ID (PID). This predictable filename is created without exclusive access or existence checks. A local attacker can pre‑create the predicted temporary file path as a symbolic link pointing to an arbitrary file writable by the victim. When gzexe runs, it follows the symlink and overwrites the target file, resulting in a time‑of‑check to time‑of‑use (TOCTOU) condition that allows arbitrary file overwrite. This issue has been fixed in the commit 4e6f8b24ab823146ab8776f0b7fe486ab34d4269

[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] To create and manage guests, domctl operations are used by the control domain, a possible Xenstore domain, or by a domain controlling a particular guest. Some of these operations may not be executed in parallel, so a system-wide lock is used. The way that lock is acquired is, however, not providing any fairness. This is CVE-2026-42489. Furthermore, with XSM/Flask in use, the lock acquire will, for some operations, occur ahead of any permission checking. This is CVE-2026-42490.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
