The WPForms – AI Form Builder for WordPress – Contact Forms, Payment Forms, Survey Form, Quiz & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'attacker-chosen key referenced by the smart tag (e.g. "x")' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires that a site administrator has previously saved a form whose description embeds a {query_var} Smart Tag inside an iframe srcdoc attribute and has enabled Show Description on a public-facing page.

Oct 10, 2026Quiz and Survey Master (QSM) – Quiz Maker & Survey Maker: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96558 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Quiz and Survey Master (QSM) – Quiz Maker & Survey Maker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'qsm_hidden_questions' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 11.2.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to force the mlw_results INSERT to fail by submitting an over-length or duplicate qsm_unique_key value, which triggers the audit trail code branch that writes the unescaped payload to wp_mlw_qm_audit_trail.form_data.

Oct 10, 2026LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2026-104723 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 10.2.1 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. This vulnerability is only exploitable during lesson creation when a temporary lesson ID triggers the custom metadata path, and requires the attacker to hold a role with the edit_course capability, such as Instructor, Instructor's Assistant, LMS Manager, or Administrator.

Oct 9, 2026Academy LMS – AI Course Builder, Quizzes, Certificates & eLearning: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-104915 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Academy LMS – AI Course Builder, Quizzes, Certificates & eLearning plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to permanently delete arbitrary Academy lesson comments and their replies authored by any user, including administrators, across courses they do not instruct. This is exploitable by any user registered as an Academy instructor for at least one course, as they can supply their own course_id to pass the instructor check while targeting comments belonging to entirely different courses.

Oct 9, 2026Academy LMS – AI Course Builder, Quizzes, Certificates & eLearning: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104022 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4
The Academy LMS – AI Course Builder, Quizzes, Certificates & eLearning plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3. This is due to the `add_child()` function calling `add_role('academy_student')` on any existing account resolved from the attacker-supplied `email` parameter before `Store::link()` validates the guardian-ward relationship, and failing to roll back that role write when `Store::link()` returns a `WP_Error`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with the `academy_guardian` role or higher to elevate any existing WordPress account — including their own — to the `academy_student` role, gaining `edit_posts` (Contributor-equivalent) capabilities and, when the student file-upload setting is enabled, `upload_files` (Author-equivalent) capabilities not granted to the guardian role. When a guardian supplies their own email address, `email_exists()` resolves to their own user ID, causing `Store::link()` to reject the self-link, but because the `add_role()` call has already executed and is never reversed, the academy_student role grant on their own account persists permanently.

Oct 9, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vlan: require the MAC header to be present in __vlan_insert_inner_tag() __vlan_insert_inneCVE-2026-98377 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vlan: require the MAC header to be present in __vlan_insert_inner_tag() __vlan_insert_inner_tag() only guarantees head room via skb_cow_head(), never that mac_len bytes of MAC header are present. Its ETH_HLEN wrappers - __vlan_insert_tag() under skb_vlan_push(), and vlan_insert_tag() under validate_xmit_vlan() on the generic transmit path - therefore rewrite the first 16 bytes at skb->data: a 12-byte memmove plus two 2-byte stores at +12 and +14. No caller supplies the bound, while the pop helpers use skb_ensure_writable()/pskb_may_pull(). An IFF_TUN device has hard_header_len == 0, so packet_snd() accepts a one-byte AF_PACKET/SOCK_RAW frame. The first vlan push only sets a hwaccel tag; the next - clsact "action vlan push" or bpf_skb_vlan_push() - enters the helper with skb->len still 1. The head comes from skbuff_small_head without __GFP_ZERO, so each push drags bytes from beyond skb->tail into the frame. After three the one-byte send leaves as 13 bytes carrying 11 bytes of uninitialised slab: 0000: 5a b3 62 12 80 88 ff ff 00 b3 62 12 81 `------------------------------' only 0x5a was sent;

Oct 8, 2026JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures.CVE-2026-107375 · Other software · jhipster · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. From 7.0.0 until 9.4.0, reactive applications generated with Spring WebFlux, Spring Data R2DBC, and a SQL database pass the attacker-controlled sort request parameter from paginated entity-list endpoints into createOrderByFields in generators/spring-boot/generators/data-relational/templates/src/main/java/package/repository/EntityManager_reactive.java.ejs. The generated code renders these properties into the SQL ORDER BY clause without validation or quoting, and the R2DBC simple query protocol can execute additional statements separated by semicolons. A normal authenticated user can consequently read sensitive tables, modify or delete data, or drop tables, while non-reactive JPA applications and NoSQL backends are outside this root cause. This issue is fixed in 9.4.0.

Oct 8, 2026JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures.CVE-2026-107303 · Other software · jhipster · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6
JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. Prior to generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0, generated applications can persist attacker-controlled Blob data and companion ContentType values, return them through generated REST endpoints, and pass them to the generated openFile helper in generators/client/generators/common/templates/src/main/webapp/app/shared/jhipster/data-utils.ts.ejs. The helper uses the returned ContentType as the browser Blob MIME type and opens an object URL, so a normal authenticated user with write access to a Blob-bearing entity can store active HTML or SVG content that may execute under the application origin when a privileged user opens it. Exploitability depends on the generated application's content security policy and target-browser Blob behavior. This issue is fixed in generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0.

Oct 8, 2026Ultimate Multisite: Does not require authentication before a logged-out checkout is linked toCVE-2026-103646 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanCritical 9.8
The Ultimate Multisite WordPress plugin before 2.17.0 does not require authentication before a logged-out checkout is linked to, and logged in as, an existing WordPress account matching the submitted email address, and its duplicate-account check normalizes that address differently from the lookup used to create the customer, so an unauthenticated attacker can log in as any existing user, including a Network Super Admin, whose email address they know. This bypass is not addressed by the 2.15.1 fix for CVE-2026-75957 and remains exploitable in all versions up to and including 2.16.1, the releases that fix was expected to cover. Oct 7, 2026pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.11 through 42.7.13 enforce no restriction when the requireAuth connection property excludes all six authenticaCVE-2026-107314 · Other software · pgjdbc · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Medium 5.9
pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.11 through 42.7.13 enforce no restriction when the requireAuth connection property excludes all six authentication methods the driver knows, for example requireAuth=!password,!md5,!gss,!sspi,!scram-sha-256,!none. The driver then accepts any method the server asks for, including cleartext password authentication. A value without a method in it, such as requireAuth=, (a single comma), is affected the same way. An attacker positioned between the application and its server can ask for cleartext password authentication and receive the database password. A positive list such as requireAuth=scram-sha-256, and a partial exclusion such as requireAuth=!password,!md5, are enforced correctly. The property has no default value, so a deployment that does not set it is not affected. 42.7.14 fixes the problem: such a connection is refused with SQLState 08004, and a value without a method in it is rejected as invalid.

Oct 7, 2026On MISP instances configured to require TOTP enrolment (Security.otp_required), the enforcement of the mandatory two-factor authentication setup applied only toCVE-2026-107180 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1
On MISP instances configured to require TOTP enrolment (Security.otp_required), the enforcement of the mandatory two-factor authentication setup applied only to standard browser requests. An authenticated user who had not yet enrolled in TOTP could bypass the forced setup by issuing any non-browser request type, including AJAX/XHR calls, REST API requests, .json format URLs, restSearch queries, or automation actions. Because these machine-readable request shapes cannot follow the redirect that the browser path uses to send the user to the TOTP enrolment page, the guard simply skipped the check and the user retained full access to the instance without completing the required second-factor setup. The initial fix (commit 8deb0619e) added a guard specifically for AJAX requests. A follow-up fix (commit 6b527ba6e) broadened the guard to cover every non-browser request shape, while preserving the exemption for identities authenticated via API key (logged_by_authkey flag). Impact: an authenticated user on an otp_required instance can operate with full access indefinitely without enrolling in TOTP, nullifying the instance-level two-factor authentication policy. Oct 6, 2026LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript.CVE-2026-106120 · Other software · harttle · reported by GitHubMedium 6
LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.27.2, enabling ownPropertyOnly does not consistently restrict inherited array indices because negative indexing, .first, .last, the first filter, the last filter, join, reverse, slice, compact, and for-loop iteration can read prototype-provided elements outside readJSProperty(). An attacker who can influence prototype state or inherited array-index data and cause templates to render affected operations can disclose values that ownPropertyOnly is expected to hide. Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: coredump: Quiesce dump work on unregister hci_devcd_handle_pkt_init() arms dumpCVE-2026-98295 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: coredump: Quiesce dump work on unregister hci_devcd_handle_pkt_init() arms dump_timeout and coredump producers queue dump_rx without holding an hdev reference. Unregister leaves both works live, so disconnecting during an active dump lets them access hdev after hci_release_dev() frees it. Shut down coredump processing during unregister. Close the producer gate under dump_q.lock before disabling both works, then free the active buffer and queued packets under hci_dev_lock. Serializing the gate with enqueue prevents controller-specific workers from adding packets after the final purge.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: p54: require a full exp_if record in PDR_INTERFACE_LIST The PDR_INTERFACE_LIST loop CVE-2026-98187 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: p54: require a full exp_if record in PDR_INTERFACE_LIST The PDR_INTERFACE_LIST loop only checks that the record start is within the entry before reading an entire struct exp_if from it. A truncated trailing record makes the if_id/variant reads cross the entry boundary into the heap beyond the EEPROM buffer (verified with a KASAN reproducer of the loop). The variant also feeds the synth front-end selection, so this is not only a leak. Advance only while a full record still fits in the entry.

Oct 3, 2026Calculated Fields Form – AI Form Builder for WordPress – Contact, Payment, Quote, Quiz & More: Reflected DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-103909 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The Calculated Fields Form – AI Form Builder for WordPress – Contact, Payment, Quote, Quiz & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'arbitrary (whichever names the admin bound via url.<name>)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.1.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires the targeted site to host a publicly accessible form in which an administrator has configured at least two fields with url.<name> predefined values that are used together in a concatenation equation — a plausible but not universal configuration.

The WPC Smart Quick View for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'woosq-redirect' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The WooCommerce "redirect to cart after add to cart" option must be enabled for the filter that reads the woosq-redirect parameter to execute; however, the ?quick-view= auto-open mechanism means no further user interaction beyond loading the crafted URL is required to trigger script execution.

Oct 2, 2026PostCSS Selector Parser is a CSS selector parser that integrates with PostCSS but does not require it.CVE-2026-104844 · Other software · postcss · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
PostCSS Selector Parser is a CSS selector parser that integrates with PostCSS but does not require it. Prior to 7.1.6, src/parser.js splitWord() can receive a flat selector as one word token carrying many class or ID indexes because period and hash characters are not tokenizer word delimiters. The uniqs() deduplication and per-index class and ID membership checks repeatedly scan the class and ID index arrays, while a separate Sass-interpolation filtering pass also performs repeated linear scanning. Together, these passes make parsing quadratic in the number of indexes and allow a crafted selector to occupy a synchronous parser thread. The maxNestingDepth guard does not mitigate the issue because the hostile selector can have zero nesting depth. Only consumers that synchronously parse untrusted selectors in an exposed request path are affected; ordinary build-time parsing of trusted sources is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.6.
