  • Sep 11, 2026An interface that accepts file uploads from authenticated users extracts the contents of uploaded archives without validating that extracted file paths remain wCVE-2026-90445 · Other software · CISA · reported by ics-cert@hq.dhs.govHigh 7.1

An interface that accepts file uploads from authenticated users extracts the contents of uploaded archives without validating that extracted file paths remain within the intended destination directory. This allows an authenticated attacker to craft an archive whose entries traverse outside the destination directory, causing the extraction process to write files to arbitrary locations with the privileges of that process. This could allow an attacker to inject fabricated records into the system's stored data or tamper with application configuration.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: restore rq_status_counter to even on all nfsd_dispatch() exit paths nfsd_dispatch() CVE-2026-89705 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: restore rq_status_counter to even on all nfsd_dispatch() exit paths nfsd_dispatch() sets rq_status_counter to an odd value once a request has been decoded, and back to an even value once it has been fully processed, forming a seq-lock like protocol with the lockless reader in nfsd_nl_rpc_status_get_dumpit(). Only the fully successful path restored the counter to even. The cache-hit (RC_REPLY), drop (RC_DROPIT / RQ_DROPME) and encode-error paths all return after the odd-valued store without ever bringing the counter back to even. Once one of those paths is taken, rq_status_counter is left odd: the next request's decode ORs in 1 (still odd) and only a subsequent successful encode restores even. While stuck odd, the dumpit reader treats the rqstp fields as stable and its retry check compares against the same unchanging odd value, so it never detects concurrent mutation. This exposes actively mutating fields (e.g. args->ops / args->opcnt during compound decode and release) to the lockless reader, which can read past the end of the 8-element inline ops array. Add a helper that advances the counter to the next

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: validate nseconds in TIME_DELEG decode paths The xdrgen-based TIME_DELEG_ACCESS and CVE-2026-89701 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: validate nseconds in TIME_DELEG decode paths The xdrgen-based TIME_DELEG_ACCESS and TIME_DELEG_MODIFY decode arms store a raw uint32_t nseconds directly into tv_nsec without enforcing nseconds < NSEC_PER_SEC. The legacy nfsd4_decode_nfstime4 has this check but the TIME_DELEG paths do not. A malformed timespec can propagate through notify_change() to disk. • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/rocket: initialize job domain before cleanup paths rocket_ioctl_submit_job() releaseCVE-2026-89591 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/rocket: initialize job domain before cleanup paths rocket_ioctl_submit_job() releases rjob through rocket_job_put() on allocation error paths. rocket_job_cleanup() unconditionally calls rocket_iommu_domain_put(job->domain), but job->domain is assigned only after task copying and BO lookups. A failure before that assignment can therefore clean up a job with a NULL domain pointer. Take the per-file domain reference before the first error path can release rjob. Also clear rjob->tasks after freeing it in rocket_copy_tasks(), so the common cleanup path cannot free the task array again after a task-copy error.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: plda: Fix IRQ domain leaks in the error paths of plda_init_interrupts() plda_init_intCVE-2026-89454 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: plda: Fix IRQ domain leaks in the error paths of plda_init_interrupts() plda_init_interrupts() initializes IRQ domains and creates IRQ mapping but does not unwind them when later step fails. If platform_get_irq() or either irq_create_mapping() fails in plda_init_interrupts(), the domains are never deinitialized. If irq_create_mapping() fails, port->intx_irq stays initialized. Hence, remove the IRQ domains in the error path by calling plda_pcie_irq_domain_deinit(). Since plda_pcie_irq_domain_deinit() now disposes of the intx_irq and msi_irq mappings itself before removing their domains, the msi_irq mapping failure path can go directly to err_irq_domain_deinit instead of disposing of port->intx_irq separately first. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Fix DPT allocation paths. Remove the fallback for VRAM to system memory, I tested it and that doesn't work at all, only a black screen with pipe fault errors were observed. On systems with media GT, extra latency is added when accessing stolen memory when the GT is in MC6. Since we additionally aren't counting how much memory is used for stolen and we could in theory fill up the entire stolen area with DPT's, avoid using stolen and only use the default memory region. Using stolen may also result in random system hangs under load. (cherry picked from commit a196406a3831291598fe8e73245914f7acffdfe0)

  • Sep 9, 2026Snipe-IT 8.6.3 and earlier (and develop pre-release commits prior to the fix) contain a race condition in the asset checkout paths.CVE-2026-86744 · Other software · grokability · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.1

Snipe-IT 8.6.3 and earlier (and develop pre-release commits prior to the fix) contain a race condition in the asset checkout paths. Api\AssetsController::checkout() and Assets\AssetCheckoutController::store() call Asset::availableForCheckout() outside the mutation path and then invoke Asset::checkOut() without taking a row lock or re-checking availability, so two concurrent checkout requests for the same available asset can both observe it as available and both commit. This produces duplicate checkout-history rows, a doubled checkout_counter, and two CheckoutableCheckedOut events for a single-assignment asset, corrupting the audit trail and utilization/reconciliation reporting; the asset's final assigned_to remains singular, so the visible assignment stays intact. Exploitation requires an authenticated session holding the assets.checkout permission (or superuser) and precise concurrent timing. Fixed in 8.7.0.

  • Sep 7, 2026Affected versions of MISP permit unauthenticated or weakly constrained request paths to perform persistent work without adequate input bounds or rate limiting.CVE-2026-86452 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.7

Affected versions of MISP permit unauthenticated or weakly constrained request paths to perform persistent work without adequate input bounds or rate limiting. The users/forgot password-reset endpoint accepted an attacker-controlled email value without first imposing a reasonable length bound or validating its format. That value was then used to create an audit log entry and queue a password-reset job, causing the supplied value to be persisted more than once per request. The commit explicitly states that an unbounded unauthenticated request field was stored twice per call with no throttle. The fix adds:  - a maximum email input length of 1024 bytes;  - email-format validation before persistent work;  - a per-source pre-authentication request budget;  - HTTP 429 responses when that budget is exceeded;  - a 15-minute cooldown for API-access request emails;  - POST-only handling and CSRF protection for the API-access request endpoint. The new flood filter is specifically intended to limit persistent storage costs from anonymous requests such as password resets, registrations, and failed REST authentication attempts. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

@fastify/http-proxy versions before 11.6.2 do not validate proxied HTTP request paths for backslash based dot-segments before forwarding them to the configured upstream. The plain HTTP request handler skips the destination validation that the WebSocket path performs, and the underlying reply-from library only rejects forward-slash traversal, so a request containing backslash dot-segments can escape the boundary set by the prefix and rewritePrefix options. An unauthenticated network attacker can use this to reach upstream paths that were meant to stay hidden behind the proxy, resulting in disclosure of internal endpoints. This is a path traversal issue (CWE-22). Users should upgrade to @fastify/http-proxy 11.6.2 or later.

The loop touches bytes through offset + (height - 1) * stride + width_in_bytes, with only a WARN_ON(dst_stride < width_in_bytes), and could likewise step past the end of either mapping. The offsets and strides are derived from STDU/SOU plane state, so a configured CRTC submitting a crafted atomic commit on an imported framebuffer can reach this path. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: atomisp: gc2235: fix UAF and memory leak gc2235_probe() handles its error paths incorrectly. If media_entity_pads_init() fails, gc2235_remove() is called, which tears down the subdev and frees dev, but then still falls through to atomisp_register_i2c_module(). This results in use-after-free. If atomisp_register_i2c_module() fails, the media entity and control handler are left initialized and dev is leaked. gc2235_remove() unconditionally calls media_entity_cleanup() and v4l2_ctrl_handler_free(), but these are not initialized at every error path in gc2235_probe(). Replace gc2235_remove() calls in the probe error paths with explicit unwind labels that free only the resources initialized at each point of failure, in reverse order of initialization.

A MongoDB C# driver document-replacement code path omits the element-name/shape validation that the equivalent write paths apply, so a value supplied as a replacement is forwarded to the server without neutralization of query-language special elements. An application that passes untrusted, loosely-typed input as a replacement value therefore allows that input to be interpreted by the database as update logic rather than as data, executing under the application's own database credentials. Applications using strongly-typed document mappings are not affected.

  • Aug 26, 2026Mage AI does not confine the paths accepted by its browser-items API to the project directory.CVE-2026-81030 · Other software · mage-ai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

Mage AI does not confine the paths accepted by its browser-items API to the project directory. BrowserItemResource in mage_ai/api/resources/BrowserItemResource.py passes a caller-supplied path to the filesystem read and write helpers without calling the containment helper that the sibling FileContentResource and FileResource classes both use, so the resource contains no such call while those two contain several. A user holding the Viewer role, which grants read access within the project and nothing outside it, can therefore read any file the server process can read by supplying an absolute path. The permission model that would otherwise separate roles is not consulted for this route in the default configuration, because the setting that enables it defaults to false. Callers holding the Editor role additionally write through the same unconfined path, though that role is already able to execute code by design, so the boundary crossed by this flaw is the read available to the Viewer role.

  • Aug 26, 2026one-api gates one of its two channel-pinning paths and not the other.CVE-2026-81027 · Other software · songquanpeng · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

one-api gates one of its two channel-pinning paths and not the other. middleware/auth.go permits a request to name a specific channel either through a suffix on the API key or through a URL path parameter. The suffix path is reached only after model.IsAdmin succeeds and otherwise rejects the caller, while the path-parameter branch sets the selected-channel value from c.Param("channelid") with no role check at all. The route carrying that parameter sits behind token authentication only, so any account holding a valid API token reaches it. The value flows to the distributor, which loads the channel by integer identifier with no scoping to the caller's user or group, and then sets the outbound Authorization header to that channel's stored key and directs the request at the channel's base URL. A low-privilege account can therefore pin any channel by incrementing an identifier, causing the server to make upstream requests bearing an operator-configured provider key the account was never granted, and bypassing both the per-group restriction and the channel's model allowlist.

NLTK before 3.10.3 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in nltk.pathsec.urlopen (and callers nltk.data.load, nltk.downloader.Downloader.index/download) when an HTTP proxy is configured. pathsec.urlopen validates the requested hostname locally, but proxy-handler inheritance disables the safe HTTP/HTTPS handlers so the actual fetch is performed by the proxy against a destination that is never re-validated. The Mercado Pago Node.js SDK interpolates caller-supplied identifiers into API request paths without percent-encoding them, so characters that are structural in a URL survive into the outgoing request. The payment (get, capture, cancel), paymentRefund (create, total, list, get), advancedPayment (get, capture, cancel, update, updateReleaseDate) and disbursementRefund (create, createAll, listAll) clients build their path as a template literal, for example RestClient.fetch(`/v1/payments/${id}`, ...) in src/clients/payment/get/index.ts. A dot-dot or slash sequence in the identifier is normalised by the WHATWG URL parser and redirects the request to a different endpoint, and a question mark appends attacker-chosen query parameters, in both cases carrying the merchant's own access token. An application that forwards an identifier influenced by an untrusted party into one of these methods without an ownership check therefore allows that party to reach other resources within the merchant's token scope. The repository already contains the intended helper, encodePathParam in src/utils/path.ts, which pull request 451 applied to roughly 29 other clients while leaving these unchanged.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amxdna: Fix page-insertion errors in amdxdna_insert_pages() Two error paths in amdxdna_insert_pages() called vma->vm_ops->close(vma) before returning an error code to the caller. This is incorrect: amdxdna_gem_obj_mmap() registers an HMM interval notifier before calling amdxdna_insert_pages(), and on a hard error it jumps to hmm_unreg to undo that registration. Calling vm_ops->close() manually — which drops the shmem pages_pin_count and the GEM object reference that backs the VMA — before the mmap syscall has even returned causes those resources to be released while the VMA is still alive. The kernel VMA teardown will call vm_ops->close() a second time when the process later unmaps the range, producing a reference count underflow. Replace both hard-error returns with a deferred-fault approach that keeps the VMA alive and retries page insertion through the HMM range-fault path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: thunderbolt: Tear down DMA paths before stopping the rings tbnet_tear_down() stops both rings and frees their frame buffers before calling tb_xdomain_disable_paths(). tb_ring_stop() zeroes the ring's descriptor base and tbnet_free_buffers() unmaps and frees the pages the frames sit in, so by the time __tb_path_deactivate_hop() polls the hop's 'pending' bit, anything still in flight has nowhere to drain to.
