  • Sep 23, 2026Import and export users and customers: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-86583 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Import and export users and customers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.17 via the plugin's own export and re-import workflow. The vulnerability exists because the exporter writes CSV cells using fputcsv() with a NUL byte (\0) as the escape character, while the importer parses the same file using SplFileObject::fgetcsv() with only a single delimiter argument, causing PHP's default backslash escape character to be applied instead; because the export column layout places display_name immediately before the role column and nickname immediately after, an attacker can store crafted values in those two profile fields — saved by WordPress core via the standard profile page — such that the escape mismatch causes the parser to merge the display_name cell into the role field and rebalance the column count via nickname, yielding administrator as the parsed role for their own row when it reaches the import_user function's add_role function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or above to escalate their privileges to Administrator. Exploitation requires a site administrator to trig

  • Sep 19, 2026Flex Import: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-9615 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Flex Import plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 3.0. This is due to the license_activate_fleximp() and license_deactivate_fleximp() functions, hooked to the wp_ajax_license_activate_fleximp and wp_ajax_license_deactivate_fleximp AJAX actions, lacking both a capability check (current_user_can()) and nonce verification (the client-side script sends a 'wpnonce' value but the handlers never validate it). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to activate an arbitrary/fraudulent license key (persisting it via update_option('fleximp_is_premium') and toggling validation, suspension, and bundle status options) or deactivate the site's legitimate license (deleting the stored key and setting fleximp_validation_status to false), thereby disrupting the plugin's premium functionality.

  • Sep 17, 2026NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox.CVE-2026-54918 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. In the affected repository revisions, NETBOX_DT_LIBRARY_URL in tests/test_configuration.py is a free-form tracked constant that an unauthenticated pull-request author can change before the validation test harness runs. During pytest collection, tests/definitions_test.py passes the value to Repo.clone_from and create_remote("upstream").fetch(), causing blind Git smart-HTTP requests to an attacker-selected host or loading attacker-controlled tests/known-*.json validation caches. The blind request cannot set arbitrary metadata-service headers or return response bodies, and this path does not execute remote Git hooks, but substituted known data can bypass slug, module, and rack uniqueness validation. This vulnerability is fixed in commit 8980c690097e92f5028c7e6df402b327d827ecd5.

  • Sep 17, 2026NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox.CVE-2026-54916 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. The absence of tests/init.py and the lack of --import-mode=importlib cause pytest prepend import mode to place the tests directory at the front of sys.path during collection. An unauthenticated contributor can add a module such as tests/git.py that shadows GitPython when tests/definitions_test.py executes from git import Git, Repo, or add tests/conftest.py for automatic collection-time execution. Python imports and runs the pull-request module before any test function, allowing arbitrary code execution on the GitHub Actions runner, test-result tampering, and access to tokens or network resources exposed to the workflow. This module-shadowing path is independent of the earlier pickle deserialization flaw and the separately tracked NETBOX_DT_LIBRARY_URL issue. This vulnerability is fixed by commit b0d9a3dadd0a0a9d3c93b0b2777559fd4bad1037.

  • Sep 17, 2026NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox.CVE-2026-54752 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6

NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. The validation test harness can deserialize pull-request-controlled tracked pickle cache files through pickle.load in the read_pickle_data function in tests/pickle_operations.py. An unauthenticated contributor can change USE_LOCAL_KNOWN_SLUGS in tests/test_configuration.py and supply a crafted tests/known-modules.pickle or tests/known-racks.pickle file that tests/definitions_test.py loads when pytest runs. Deserialization invokes attacker-controlled object reduction behavior, allowing arbitrary code execution in the GitHub Actions runner or in a maintainer process that runs the tests, with the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of reachable resources at risk. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rapidio: clear mport->net when rio_add_net() fails rio_alloc_net() stores the newly allocated rio_net in mport->net before rio_scan_alloc_net() registers the device. If rio_add_net() fails, rio_scan_alloc_net() drops the device reference with put_device(), which releases the rio_net through the device release callback. However, mport->net is left pointing at the freed object. A later mport unregister path can then dereference the dangling mport->net pointer and may try to free the same rio_net again. Clear mport->net in the rio_add_net() failure path, matching the cleanup done for the destID table allocation failure path.

  • Sep 17, 2026mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager.CVE-2026-54580 · Other software · MidnightBSD · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, libmport/util.c did not make every truncated, corrupt, or failed zstd stream fatal in mport_decompress_zstd(), and libmport/fetch.c did not consistently propagate those failures to index-fetch callers. A malicious or faulty mirror could supply compressed package index data that caused ZSTD_decompressStream() or an output write to fail while leaving partial index output available for later use, resulting in package-index integrity loss or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

  • Sep 17, 2026mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager.CVE-2026-54579 · Other software · MidnightBSD · reported by GitHubLow 2.3

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, ping() in libmport/ping.c accepted ICMP replies without validating icmp_id or icmp_seq and parsed the reply using a fixed IP-header offset instead of ip_hl. A network attacker able to inject or spoof visible ICMP replies could influence mirror latency selection, while a malformed packet carrying IP options could shift the ICMP header and trigger an out-of-bounds read. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, mport_verify_package() in libmport/verify.c could continue after MD5File() or SHA256_File() failed and compare an expected checksum with stale data in the hash buffer rather than a newly computed digest. An attacker able to influence an installed file or the conditions that make hashing fail could receive a misleading integrity result or hide a checksum failure. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, the audit command in mport/mport.c computed option-adjusted local_argv and local_argc values but passed the original argument entry to audit_package(). When an operator or automation used an option such as -r before a package name, stale optind state and the unadjusted argument could cause mport to audit the option token instead of the requested package, producing a false-negative or useless result that could leave a vulnerable package unidentified. The corrected parsing resets optind and optreset before using the adjusted local arguments. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

  • Sep 17, 2026mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager.CVE-2026-54576 · Other software · MidnightBSD · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, do_actual_install() in libmport/bundle_read_install_pkg.c used path-based lstat(), chown(), stat(), and chmod() operations while installing package files. A local attacker with write access to a target directory could replace a checked file with a symlink before privileged ownership or mode changes were applied, redirecting those changes to an attacker-selected path and compromising filesystem integrity or permissions. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

  • Sep 17, 2026mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager.CVE-2026-54575 · Other software · MidnightBSD · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, privileged package fetch and cache-cleaning operations used race-prone path handling across libmport/fetch.c, libmport/clean.c, libmport/util.c, libmport/bundle_read_install_pkg.c, libmport/delete_primative.c, and libexec/mport.create/mport.create.c. A local attacker with write access to a participating package cache or staging path could race path checks and replacement operations to redirect package downloads, cleanup, or install-related side effects outside the intended cache. The affected lifecycle helper paths also used shell-form invocation, increasing command-line interpretation risk during privileged helper execution. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

A vulnerability in the certificate import functionality of the web-based management interface of Cisco ISE and Cisco ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to read arbitrary files from the affected system. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the affected feature. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to the web-based management interface of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read arbitrary files from the affected device, which could contain sensitive information.

  • Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: Fix length check __import_wp_info() struct kvm_hw_breakpoint::len is a __u64 thCVE-2026-89926 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: Fix length check __import_wp_info() struct kvm_hw_breakpoint::len is a __u64 that is fully controlled by user space. This is then assigned to wp_info->len, which is an int. The bounds check is done on the truncated value while the allocation uses the untruncated one: wp_info->len = bp_data->len; [...] if (wp_info->len < 0 || wp_info->len > MAX_WP_SIZE) return -EINVAL; wp_info->old_data = kmalloc(bp_data->len, GFP_KERNEL_ACCOUNT); Use the validated value for the allocation as intended. Without this fix userspace can trigger >4GB allocations which will fail and result in a WARN due to MAX_PAGE_ORDER.
