  • Sep 19, 2026WordLift – AI powered SEO – Schema: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-9289 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The WordLift – AI powered SEO – Schema plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.54.10 via the JSON-LD REST API endpoints. This is due to the plugin registering the /wordlift/v1/jsonld/ routes (jsonld/{id}, jsonld/http/{item_id}, jsonld/post-meta/{meta_key}, jsonld/meta/{meta_key}, and jsonld/{post_type}/{post_name}) with a permission_callback of '__return_true' and the downstream converter retrieving the post via get_post() without verifying the post status or the requesting user's capabilities. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the title, content/description, author, publication and modification dates, word count, comment count, and other metadata of private, draft, and pending posts by enumerating post IDs, bypassing WordPress core access controls.

  • Sep 19, 2026Bread: Information exposureCVE-2026-4792 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Bread plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to information exposure in versions up to and including 2.9.12. This is due to the lack of authentication and authorization checks on the settings export functionality (download_settings function) which is registered on the plugins_loaded hook and explicitly allows execution on non-admin (public) pages. The function exports all plugin configuration settings including the protection_password field, which is stored in plaintext. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the PDF protection password by accessing the /?export-meeting-list=1 endpoint.

  • Sep 18, 2026Better Messages – Chat Rooms, Group Chat, Private Messages & AI Chat Bots: Information Exposure by SpoofingCVE-2026-89093 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Better Messages – Chat Rooms, Group Chat, Private Messages & AI Chat Bots plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure by Spoofing in all versions up to, and including, 2.15.33. This is due to the `is_ai_bot_user()` function identifying privileged internal AI bot accounts by performing a prefix check for `'ai-chat-bot-'` against a guest record's stored IP address, which is populated verbatim from the client-controlled `X-Real-IP` request header during unauthenticated guest registration. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a guest identity that the plugin treats as its own internal AI bot, bypassing the per-room role allowlist, draft-status check, and join filters — which are all short-circuited by the bot check in `user_can_join()` and `user_can_read()` — to join administrator-restricted chat rooms, post messages into them, and read the private message history of other users.

  • Sep 18, 2026Divi Essential: Sensitive information exposureCVE-2026-15760 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Divi Essential plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to sensitive information exposure in versions up to, and including, 5.8.1 via the dnxte_get_database_tables and dnxte_get_database_data AJAX actions. The handlers only conditionally verify a nonce (the check runs solely when the 'nonce' POST parameter is present and can be trivially bypassed by omitting the parameter) and never call current_user_can() or otherwise enforce a capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to enumerate every table in the WordPress database and read up to a caller-controlled number of rows from any table — including wp_users (usernames, emails, hashed passwords), wp_usermeta (session tokens, secret keys), and wp_options (privileged settings, API keys, credentials stored by other plugins).

  • Sep 18, 2026GPTranslate – Multilingual AI Translation Agent for WordPress: Translate Your Site with AI: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-89278 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The GPTranslate – Multilingual AI Translation Agent for WordPress: Translate Your Site with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.34.6 via the enqueue_frontend_scripts. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the plaintext third-party AI provider API key (OpenAI, DeepL, xAI/Grok, Gemini, Claude, or Google Cloud Translation) — a credential granting billed account access — by fetching any public page and applying the inverse transformation bundled in the plugin's own public JavaScript asset. This exposure affects the default configuration (gpt-3.5-turbo in client mode) and all supported non-DeepSeek providers; only deepseek-* models and gpt-* models configured in server-proxy mode correctly suppress key emission.

  • Sep 18, 2026Easy Appointments: Does not use an unguessable token to authorize its mail-link appointment cancellation and confirmation actionCVE-2026-87965 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 4.8

The Easy Appointments WordPress plugin before 4.0.2.2 does not use an unguessable token to authorize its mail-link appointment cancellation and confirmation action, deriving the token from a hardcoded source-embedded salt and the appointment's creation timestamp, so unauthenticated attackers who know or guess that timestamp can cancel or confirm arbitrary appointments.

  • Sep 15, 20263D FlipBook – PDF Embedder, PDF Flipbook Viewer, Flipbook Image Gallery: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-15758 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The 3D FlipBook – PDF Embedder, PDF Flipbook Viewer, Flipbook Image Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.16.20 via the 'id' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including the full metadata payload of password-protected flipbooks — including title, outline, props, and the serialized data blob containing the underlying PDF file's direct URL — bypassing WordPress post-password confidentiality. Flipbook post IDs can be pre-enumerated via the also-unauthenticated fb3d_send_posts AJAX action, requiring no prior knowledge to target specific flipbooks.

The Royal Addons for Elementor – Addons and Templates Kit for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.1066 via the 'wpr_keyword' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract arbitrary postmeta values from all published posts via character-by-character substring matching across the entire wp_postmeta table. The required nonce is emitted publicly via wp_localize_script on any frontend page that loads a Royal Elementor widget, meaning no authenticated session or prior action is needed to obtain it.

  • Sep 9, 2026Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-19800 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9

The Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'status' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.31.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. The $wpdb->prepare() call does not protect against this injection because the attacker-controlled $contact_filter_query fragment is concatenated into the SQL format string before prepare() executes — prepare() only processes %s/%d placeholders and cannot sanitize content already embedded in the format string. REST API JSON bodies are parsed from php://input and bypass WordPress's wp_magic_quotes(), meaning double-quote characters in status array values reach the SQL sink unescaped. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The required 'mint_read_contacts' capability is a plugin-specific capability not assigned to any default WordPress role; it must be explicitly granted by an

The AutomatorWP – Automator plugin for no-code automations, webhooks & custom integrations in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.8.4. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to retrieve all ConvertKit form data configured by the site's manager account, exposing integration details intended to be restricted to plugin managers. The required nonce is localized on every admin page load, making it accessible to any authenticated user who can reach /wp-admin.

The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 4.8.6. This is due to the handle_email_otp_return() function returning the secret magic login token in the response to a publicly accessible OTP request, rather than only delivering it to the user's email address. • Aug 15, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-18387 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'tag_query' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.14 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with vendor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires the attacker to trigger the vulnerable Legacy_Contact_Query code path by submitting an unknown filter type (e.g. filters[0][0][type]=force_fallback), which causes a FilterException that dispatches execution away from the modern query handler.

This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the BCC field of the acy_notification_cms notification template, causing subsequent WordPress password-reset emails — including those targeting administrator accounts — to be silently copied to an attacker-controlled address, enabling account takeover via the captured reset link. • Aug 5, 2026AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation by AIWU: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-6639 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation by AIWU plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.6. This is due to the `getCurrentTaskResults()` method in `modules/workspace/controller.php` being accessible without authentication or authorization checks. The method is not included in the workspace controller's `getNoncedMethods()` array, the base `getPermissions()` returns an empty array, and all AJAX actions are registered with `wp_ajax_nopriv_` hooks (`classes/frame.php:282`). When tasks are created via features like the Bulk Post Generator, the task parameters — including the OpenAI API key in plaintext, AI prompts, keywords, and full AI model configuration — are stored in the database and returned in the JSON response. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate sequential task IDs and retrieve sensitive configuration data including API keys.

  • Aug 5, 2026Page and Post Restriction: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-12000 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Page and Post Restriction plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to and including 1.4.0 via the WordPress core REST endpoints /wp-json/wp/v2/pages, /wp-json/wp/v2/pages/<id>, /wp-json/wp/v2/posts, and /wp-json/wp/v2/posts/<id>. This is due to the plugin's REST guards — papr_restrict_page_post_rest_api() and the the_posts filter registered by papr_filter_posts() — sourcing their restricted-ID list exclusively from papr_get_restricted_posts_id(), which only reads the per-page metabox options papr_allowed_redirect_for_pages and papr_allowed_redirect_for_posts and never consults the two global toggles papr_access_for_only_loggedin and papr_access_for_only_loggedin_posts that the plugin's own UI describes as 'Make all Pages Private' / 'Make all Posts Private'. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the full rendered content of every published page and post on sites configured with the documented global toggles, bypassing the security boundary enforced on the frontend by papr_restrict_logged_in_users().

  • Aug 5, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-11454 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.2 via the GET /wp-json/gh/v4/contacts/<id> REST endpoint. The endpoint's permission callback checks only the role-level view_contacts capability and read_single() returns the full contact record by sequential integer ID without the object-level view_contact ownership check applied elsewhere in the codebase. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers holding view_contacts but not view_others_contacts — notably Groundhogg's built-in Sales Rep role, designed to see only its own contacts — to read any contact record on the site, including PII, contact meta, owner IDs, the admin edit URL, and (for contacts linked to a WordPress user) that user's full capability set.

  • Aug 1, 2026PixelYourSite – Your smart PIXEL (TAG) & API Manager: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-18059 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The PixelYourSite – Your smart PIXEL (TAG) & API Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 11.2.1 via the getWooPurchaseEventParams. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract WooCommerce purchase metadata — including product names, product IDs, quantities, per-item prices, order totals, currency, and order/transaction IDs — for any existing order by supplying an invalid or arbitrary order key. This is exploitable against any known or enumerated order ID, as the plugin resolves the order from the URL path variable alone and emits the full woo_purchase tracking payload into the page HTML via the pysOptions JavaScript object across its Facebook, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager integrations regardless of key validity.

The Jeg Kit for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.1 via the `enqueue_scripts()` method in `class/dashboard/class-dashboard.php`. The plugin injects a `JkitDashboardOption` JavaScript object containing full plugin inventory (names, versions, paths, active status), system environment details (WordPress version, PHP version, site URLs, server capabilities), and potentially third-party API credentials (Mailchimp API key via `jkit_user_data`) as an inline script on the `post.php` admin page. Because this data is output without any capability check beyond post editing access, any authenticated user with Contributor-level access or above can view this sensitive configuration data by inspecting the page source.
