http4k's Digest authentication module (org.http4k:http4k-security-digest) before versions 6.48.0.0, 5.42.0.0 and 4.51.0.0 defaults the nonceVerifier parameter of ServerFilters.DigestAuth and DigestAuthProvider to { true }, so every nonce is accepted regardless of its value, age, or prior use. Applications relying on this default have no replay protection on Digest authentication: an attacker who can capture a valid 'Authorization: Digest' response (for example by observing network traffic or reading logs) can replay it indefinitely against the same protected resource.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vduse: return compat ioctl results directly The compat handler handles VDUSE_IOTLB_GET_FD CVE-2026-97983 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vduse: return compat ioctl results directly The compat handler handles VDUSE_IOTLB_GET_FD and VDUSE_VQ_GET_INFO, but then calls the native handler. Their different command sizes make native dispatch return -ENOIOCTLCMD. For GET_FD, this overwrites receive_fd()'s return value after the descriptor is installed, leaking one fd per call. Return handled compat results directly and use native dispatch only for other commands.

  • Sep 23, 2026SigNoz from v0.8.0 before v0.143.0 defaults the JWT tokenizer signing secret (tokenizer::jwt::secret, set via SIGNOZ_TOKENIZER_JWT_SECRET or the deprecated SIGNCVE-2026-97055 · Other software · SigNoz · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

SigNoz from v0.8.0 before v0.143.0 defaults the JWT tokenizer signing secret (tokenizer::jwt::secret, set via SIGNOZ_TOKENIZER_JWT_SECRET or the deprecated SIGNOZ_JWT_SECRET) to an empty string, and Config.Validate() does not reject the empty value, so a deployment that does not configure a secret starts up and both signs and verifies session tokens with an empty HMAC key. Because the JWT tokenizer was the default provider, any such deployment is affected. An unauthenticated attacker who knows the ID of an existing user can forge a valid session token for that user — including an administrator — by signing the id, orgId and email claims with an empty key; the organization ID (and whether an email is registered) can be obtained without authentication from /api/v2/sessions/context. A forged refresh token can be exchanged at /api/v2/sessions/rotate for a new token pair and cannot be revoked, so it remains usable for its full lifetime (30 days by default). Fixed in v0.143.0, which requires a JWT secret when the jwt provider is selected and changes the default provider to opaque.

LTSecurity LTK3500SF contains a hard-coded credentials vulnerability where the root and guest account passwords are stored in /etc/shadow as weak hashes recoverable with dictionary-based cracking tools. The recovered credentials authenticate against the device's Telnet and SSH services and grant root-level access to the operating system. These services are not confirmed to start automatically at boot, so exploitation requires Telnet or SSH to be running, whether enabled by the device configuration or started manually.

  • Sep 21, 2026Dancer2 versions from 2.0.0 before 2.2.0 for Perl dispatch a route that a dying hook refused when the exception handler halts the response in compile_hooks.CVE-2026-93710 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

Dancer2 versions from 2.0.0 before 2.2.0 for Perl dispatch a route that a dying hook refused when the exception handler halts the response in compile_hooks. A hook that dies fires core.app.hook_exception, then calls cleanup unless the failing hook is the exception handler. A handler that halts does not stop that cleanup, which discards the request, response and session the dispatcher has yet to read, so the refused route runs. The handler has to halt the response object by calling its halt method or setting is_halted: the halt keyword unwinds through with_return before cleanup runs. A check in a before hook is not enforced: the caller gets the refusal, while the route body runs and its writes land.

MISP contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in the processModuleResultsData method of the Event model. When processing module results, the code iterates over EventReport entries supplied in the resolved data and saves each one. Unlike the adjacent attribute and object processing loops, the report loop did not unset the client-supplied 'id' field before calling save(). Because the MISP EventReport model's create() method does not strip the id field, an authenticated user with permission to submit module results could include an 'id' value referencing an existing report belonging to a different event. Upon save(), the ORM would update that existing row rather than insert a new one, allowing the attacker to   - read the content of another event's report by reparenting it into their own event  - overwrite the report's fields with attacker-controlled data  - change the report's event_id to redirect ownership.  This constitutes an authorization bypass through a user-controlled key, enabling cross-event data disclosure and integrity compromise. The vulnerability requires an authenticated session with the ability to invoke module result processing on an event. Ver

  • Sep 17, 2026Obsidian Web MCP is a secure remote MCP server for Obsidian vaults.CVE-2026-54618 · Other software · jimprosser · reported by GitHubCritical 9.4

Obsidian Web MCP is a secure remote MCP server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 0.2.0, /oauth/authorize issues an authorization code without a login, consent, or session check, and /oauth/token can exchange that code for the static VAULT_MCP_TOKEN without authenticating a client. An unauthenticated remote caller who can reach the intended tunnel deployment can therefore call /mcp and use vault_read, vault_write, vault_search, vault_list, vault_move, and vault_delete against the entire vault. Optional PKCE does not prevent an attacker-initiated flow, and unauthenticated /oauth/register also exposes a client_credentials path by returning the configured VAULT_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRET. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ARM: 9484/1: enable interrupts when unhandled user faults are triggered PREEMPT_RT requires interrupts to be enabled when sending signals. When do_DataAbort()/do_PrefetchAbort() triggers unhandled user faults, that is `inf->fn()` return a non-zero value, and the interrupts are not enabled within the hook function, force_sig_fault() will be called with interrupts disabled. This can be triggered by user programs executing the bkpt instruction, with kernel config CONFIG_PERF_EVENTS=n. • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ARM: 9485/1: mm: acquire mmap write lock around show_pte() for user faults When CONFIG_DEBCVE-2026-90303 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ARM: 9485/1: mm: acquire mmap write lock around show_pte() for user faults When CONFIG_DEBUG_USER=y, and cmdline "user_debug=31" is set, a user fault may trigger show_pte() without any lock. If another thread in the same process concurrently calls munmap(), the page table pages may be freed while show_pte() is still traversing them, causing a use-after-free in show_pte(). If CONFIG_ARM_LPAE=y, this may cause a kernel panic if the pages table of PMD are freed when show_pte() is running. Acquire mmap_write_lock() around show_pte() for user faults to fix the contention. For user faults, additionally restrict that show_pte() is called only when the addr is a user-space address (addr < TASK_SIZE). This is because the lock of tsk->mm only protects the virtual memory of user address space, furthermore, dumping the page tables of a kernel-space address for user faults is unnecessary and may have security implications. Keep everything unchanged for kernel faults, because the kernel is already in the "oops" state, acquiring a lock may risk a deadlock.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Reject page faults from non-fault-mode scratch VMs Having scratch enabled does not make a VM capable of handling recoverable page faults. Allowing scratch VMs through the ASID lookup also admits dma-fence mode VMs. If such a VM faults on an already valid VMA, the handler reports success without fixing the fault, causing the GPU to retry indefinitely. Only allow fault-mode VMs through the ASID lookup. Fault-mode VMs using scratch remain supported, while faults from 3D VMs are rejected. ScadaLTS 2.8.1-release-candidate build 0 is affected by an Authorization Bypass Spring Security gates DWR endpoints by URL path pattern, but DWR itself dispatches method calls based on the POST body parameters c0-scriptName and c0-methodName. The crossDomainSessionSecurity setting in web.xml is set to false, which disables DWR's built-in origin validation. This means any authenticated user can invoke any DWR method (regardless of the URL-based access control) by sending their request to a URL they are permitted to access (e.g. MiscDwr.initializeLongPoll.dwr) while targeting a restricted class in the POST body. This is the systemic root cause that enables multiple other findings to be exploited as a low privilege user.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Put PCI device after handling PPR faults iommu_call_iopf_notifier() looks up the requester with pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot(), which returns a PCI device with its reference count incremented. Neither the successful iommu_report_device_fault() path nor the abort path drops that reference, so every handled PPR request leaks a PCI device reference. This is the same ownership rule that was fixed for the old iommu_v2 ppr_notifier() path by commit 6cf0981c2233 ("iommu/amd: Fix pci device refcount leak in ppr_notifier()"), but iommu_call_iopf_notifier() was added later as a separate PPR/IOPF notifier path. Drop the PCI device reference after handling the PPR entry.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Fix wrong hwpt passed to iommufd_auto_response_faults on replace iommufd_hwpt_replace_device() calls: iommufd_auto_response_faults(hwpt, old_handle); passing the *new* hwpt together with the handle of the device's *old* domain. This should be a parameter mismatch: 1. Semantically, iommufd_auto_response_faults(x, handle) scans x->fault's deliver list and response xarray for groups matching "handle". A group is queued under the hwpt that was attached at fault-delivery time. old_handle is fetched *before* the domain switch, so its group lives on old->fault, not on the new hwpt->fault. 2. Historically, the first argument was "old". The routine was introduced by commit b7d8833677ba ("iommufd: Fault-capable hwpt attach/detach/replace") as __fault_domain_replace_dev() in fault.c, correctly calling iommufd_auto_response_faults(old, curr). Commit fb21b1568ada ("iommufd: Make attach_handle generic than fault specific") moved this into iommufd_hwpt_replace_device() in device.c and swapped it to "hwpt". This should be a refactor regression, not an intentional change. Fix this b
