Missing integrity verification in the Triton inference handler in Amazon SageMaker Python SDK v2 before v2.257.2 and v3 before v3.8.0 might allow a remote authenticated actor to achieve code execution in inference containers via replacement of model artifacts in S3 with a specially crafted pickle payload that is deserialized without verification. This issue requires a remote authenticated actor with S3 write access to the model artifact path. To remediate this issue, we recommend upgrading to Amazon SageMaker Python SDK v2.257.2 or v3.8.0 and rebuild any Triton models previously created with ModelBuilder using the updated SDK.

  • May 12, 2026vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs).CVE-2026-44223 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.18.0 to before 0.20.0, the extract_hidden_states speculative decoding proposer in vLLM returns a tensor with an incorrect shape after the first decode step, causing a RuntimeError that crashes the EngineCore process. The crash is triggered when any request in the batch uses sampling penalty parameters (repetition_penalty, frequency_penalty, or presence_penalty). A single request with a penalty parameter (e.g., "repetition_penalty": 1.1) is sufficient to crash the server. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.20.0.

  • May 12, 2026vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs).CVE-2026-44222 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.6.1 to before 0.20.0, there is a a Token Injection vulnerability in vLLM’s multimodal processing. Unauthenticated, text-only prompts that spell special tokens are interpreted as control. Image and video placeholder sequences supplied without matching data cause vLLM to index into empty grids during input-position computation, raising an unhandled IndexError and terminating the worker or degrading availability. Multimodal paths that rely on image_grid_thw/video_grid_thw are affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.20.0.

  • Apr 6, 2026BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference.CVE-2026-35044 · Other software · bentoml · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to 1.4.38, the Dockerfile generation function generate_containerfile() in src/bentoml/_internal/container/generate.py uses an unsandboxed jinja2.Environment with the jinja2.ext.do extension to render user-provided dockerfile_template files. When a victim imports a malicious bento archive and runs bentoml containerize, attacker-controlled Jinja2 template code executes arbitrary Python directly on the host machine, bypassing all container isolation. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.38.

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.1.0 to before 0.19.0, a Denial of Service vulnerability exists in the vLLM OpenAI-compatible API server. Due to the lack of an upper bound validation on the n parameter in the ChatCompletionRequest and CompletionRequest Pydantic models, an unauthenticated attacker can send a single HTTP request with an astronomically large n value. This completely blocks the Python asyncio event loop and causes immediate Out-Of-Memory crashes by allocating millions of request object copies in the heap before the request even reaches the scheduling queue. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0.

  • Apr 6, 2026vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs).CVE-2026-34755 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.7.0 to before 0.19.0, the VideoMediaIO.load_base64() method at vllm/multimodal/media/video.py splits video/jpeg data URLs by comma to extract individual JPEG frames, but does not enforce a frame count limit. The num_frames parameter (default: 32), which is enforced by the load_bytes() code path, is completely bypassed in the video/jpeg base64 path. An attacker can send a single API request containing thousands of comma-separated base64-encoded JPEG frames, causing the server to decode all frames into memory and crash with OOM. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0.

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From version 0.5.5 to before version 0.18.0, Librosa defaults to using numpy.mean for mono downmixing (to_mono), while the international standard ITU-R BS.775-4 specifies a weighted downmixing algorithm. This discrepancy results in inconsistency between audio heard by humans (e.g., through headphones/regular speakers) and audio processed by AI models (Which infra via Librosa, such as vllm, transformer). This issue has been patched in version 0.18.0.

llama.cpp is an inference of several LLM models in C/C++. Prior to version b8492, the RPC backend's deserialize_tensor() skips all bounds validation when a tensor's buffer field is 0. An unauthenticated attacker can read and write arbitrary process memory via crafted GRAPH_COMPUTE messages. Combined with pointer leaks from ALLOC_BUFFER/BUFFER_GET_BASE, this gives full ASLR bypass and remote code execution. No authentication required, just TCP access to the RPC server port. This issue has been patched in version b8492.

BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to 1.4.37, the `docker.system_packages` field in `bentofile.yaml` accepts arbitrary strings that are interpolated directly into Dockerfile `RUN` commands without sanitization. Since `system_packages` is semantically a list of OS package names (data), users do not expect values to be interpreted as shell commands. A malicious `bentofile.yaml` achieves arbitrary command execution during `bentoml containerize` / `docker build`. Version 1.4.37 fixes the issue.

llama.cpp is an inference of several LLM models in C/C++. Prior to b7824, an integer overflow vulnerability in the `ggml_nbytes` function allows an attacker to bypass memory validation by crafting a GGUF file with specific tensor dimensions. This causes `ggml_nbytes` to return a significantly smaller size than required (e.g., 4MB instead of Exabytes), leading to a heap-based buffer overflow when the application subsequently processes the tensor. This vulnerability allows potential Remote Code Execution (RCE) via memory corruption. b7824 contains a fix.

  • Feb 2, 2026A vulnerability in huggingface/text-generation-inference version 3.3.6 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit unbounded external image fetching duriCVE-2026-0599 · Other software · huggingface · reported by security@huntr.devHigh 7.5

A vulnerability in huggingface/text-generation-inference version 3.3.6 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit unbounded external image fetching during input validation in VLM mode. The issue arises when the router scans inputs for Markdown image links and performs a blocking HTTP GET request, reading the entire response body into memory and cloning it before decoding. This behavior can lead to resource exhaustion, including network bandwidth saturation, memory inflation, and CPU overutilization. The vulnerability is triggered even if the request is later rejected for exceeding token limits. The default deployment configuration, which lacks memory usage limits and authentication, exacerbates the impact, potentially crashing the host machine. The issue is resolved in version 3.3.7.

  • Jan 27, 2026vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs).CVE-2026-24779 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). Prior to version 0.14.1, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the `MediaConnector` class within the vLLM project's multimodal feature set. The load_from_url and load_from_url_async methods obtain and process media from URLs provided by users, using different Python parsing libraries when restricting the target host. These two parsing libraries have different interpretations of backslashes, which allows the host name restriction to be bypassed. This allows an attacker to coerce the vLLM server into making arbitrary requests to internal network resources. This vulnerability is particularly critical in containerized environments like `llm-d`, where a compromised vLLM pod could be used to scan the internal network, interact with other pods, and potentially cause denial of service or access sensitive data. For example, an attacker could make the vLLM pod send malicious requests to an internal `llm-d` management endpoint, leading to system instability by falsely reporting metrics like the KV cache state. Version 0.14.1 contains a patch for the issue.

BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to version 1.4.34, BentoML's `bentofile.yaml` configuration allows path traversal attacks through multiple file path fields (`description`, `docker.setup_script`, `docker.dockerfile_template`, `conda.environment_yml`). An attacker can craft a malicious bentofile that, when built by a victim, exfiltrates arbitrary files from the filesystem into the bento archive. This enables supply chain attacks where sensitive files (SSH keys, credentials, environment variables) are silently embedded in bentos and exposed when pushed to registries or deployed. Starting in version 0.10.1 and prior to version 0.14.0, vLLM loads Hugging Face `auto_map` dynamic modules during model resolution without gating on `trust_remote_code`, allowing attacker-controlled Python code in a model repo/path to execute at server startup. An attacker who can influence the model repo/path (local directory or remote Hugging Face repo) can achieve arbitrary code execution on the vLLM host during model load. This happens before any request handling and does not require API access. Version 0.14.0 fixes the issue.

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). In versions from 0.6.4 to before 0.12.0, users can crash the vLLM engine serving multimodal models that use the Idefics3 vision model implementation by sending a specially crafted 1x1 pixel image. This causes a tensor dimension mismatch that results in an unhandled runtime error, leading to complete server termination. This issue has been patched in version 0.12.0.

  • Jan 7, 2026llama.cpp is an inference of several LLM models in C/C++.CVE-2026-21869 · Other software · ggml-org · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

llama.cpp is an inference of several LLM models in C/C++. In commits 55d4206c8 and prior, the n_discard parameter is parsed directly from JSON input in the llama.cpp server's completion endpoints without validation to ensure it's non-negative. When a negative value is supplied and the context fills up, llama_memory_seq_rm/add receives a reversed range and negative offset, causing out-of-bounds memory writes in the token evaluation loop. This deterministic memory corruption can crash the process or enable remote code execution (RCE). There is no fix at the time of publication.

  • Dec 9, 2025Elysia is a Typescript framework for request validation, type inference, OpenAPI documentation and client-server communication.CVE-2025-66457 · Other software · elysiajs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Elysia is a Typescript framework for request validation, type inference, OpenAPI documentation and client-server communication. Versions 1.4.17 and below are subject to arbitrary code execution from cookie config. When dynamic cookies are enabled (e.g. there an existing cookie schema), the cookie config is injected into the compiled route without first being sanitised. Availability of this exploit is generally low, but when combined with GHSA-hxj9-33pp-j2cc, it allows for a full RCE chain. An attack requires write access to either the Elysia app's source code (in which case the vulnerability is meaningless) or write access to the cookie config (perhaps where it is assumed to be provisioned by the environment). This issue is fixed in version 1.4.18.

  • Dec 9, 2025Elysia is a Typescript framework for request validation, type inference, OpenAPI documentation and client-server communication.CVE-2025-66456 · Other software · elysiajs · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Elysia is a Typescript framework for request validation, type inference, OpenAPI documentation and client-server communication. Versions 1.4.0 through 1.4.16 contain a prototype pollution vulnerability in `mergeDeep` after merging results of two standard schema validations with the same key. Due to the ordering of merging, there must be an any type that is set as a standalone guard, to allow for the `__proto__ prop` to be merged. When combined with GHSA-8vch-m3f4-q8jf this allows for a full RCE by an attacker. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.17. To workaround, remove the `__proto__ key` from body.

  • Dec 1, 2025vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs).CVE-2025-66448 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). Prior to 0.11.1, vllm has a critical remote code execution vector in a config class named Nemotron_Nano_VL_Config. When vllm loads a model config that contains an auto_map entry, the config class resolves that mapping with get_class_from_dynamic_module(...) and immediately instantiates the returned class. This fetches and executes Python from the remote repository referenced in the auto_map string. Crucially, this happens even when the caller explicitly sets trust_remote_code=False in vllm.transformers_utils.config.get_config. In practice, an attacker can publish a benign-looking frontend repo whose config.json points via auto_map to a separate malicious backend repo; loading the frontend will silently run the backend’s code on the victim host. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.11.1.

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From version 0.5.5 to before 0.11.1, the /v1/chat/completions and /tokenize endpoints allow a chat_template_kwargs request parameter that is used in the code before it is properly validated against the chat template. With the right chat_template_kwargs parameters, it is possible to block processing of the API server for long periods of time, delaying all other requests. This issue has been patched in version 0.11.1.

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From versions 0.10.2 to before 0.11.1, a memory corruption vulnerability could lead to a crash (denial-of-service) and potentially remote code execution (RCE), exists in the Completions API endpoint. When processing user-supplied prompt embeddings, the endpoint loads serialized tensors using torch.load() without sufficient validation. Due to a change introduced in PyTorch 2.8.0, sparse tensor integrity checks are disabled by default. As a result, maliciously crafted tensors can bypass internal bounds checks and trigger an out-of-bounds memory write during the call to to_dense(). This memory corruption can crash vLLM and potentially lead to code execution on the server hosting vLLM. This issue has been patched in version 0.11.1.

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). Before version 0.11.0rc2, the API key support in vLLM performs validation using a method that was vulnerable to a timing attack. API key validation uses a string comparison that takes longer the more characters the provided API key gets correct. Data analysis across many attempts could allow an attacker to determine when it finds the next correct character in the key sequence. Deployments relying on vLLM's built-in API key validation are vulnerable to authentication bypass using this technique. Version 0.11.0rc2 fixes the issue.
