Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app backend) before 12.127.5 contains an authorization flaw in the PATCH /private/role_bindings/:binding_id endpoint.CVE-2026-100629 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7
Capgo (capgo.app backend) before 12.127.5 contains an authorization flaw in the PATCH /private/role_bindings/:binding_id endpoint. The handler verifies that the newly assigned role's priority rank does not exceed the caller's own rank, but — unlike the DELETE handler — it never checks the rank of the role currently bound to the target binding. An authenticated user holding the org_admin role (rank 90) can therefore change an org_super_admin binding (rank 95) to a lower-privileged role such as org_member (rank 75). Because the prevent_last_super_admin_binding_delete database trigger fires only BEFORE DELETE and not on UPDATE, an org_admin can demote every org_super_admin, leaving the organization with no super administrator. The issue is fixed in 12.127.5.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: clear cp_flags bits individually in rds_conn_path_reset() rds_conn_path_reset() wCVE-2026-98071 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: clear cp_flags bits individually in rds_conn_path_reset() rds_conn_path_reset() wipes the whole flag word with a plain cp->cp_flags = 0 store. Every other accessor of that word uses atomic bitops, and some of them can run concurrently with the reset: RDS_LL_SEND_FULL is set from rds_send_xmit() and cleared from the transport completion paths, neither of which holds anything that excludes the shutdown worker. A plain store racing an atomic read-modify-write on the same word is a data race, and whichever side loses has its update silently discarded. Clear the two bits the reset is actually responsible for instead. RDS_IN_XMIT and RDS_RECV_REFILL need no store at all here: they belong to the caller, rds_conn_shutdown(), which waits for both to be clear before calling the transport shutdown and this reset. This also gives every bit in cp_flags a single well-defined writer discipline, which the following patches rely on when they turn RDS_IN_XMIT and RDS_RECV_REFILL into bit locks held across the teardown: a blanket store mid-teardown would destroy lock ownership that an atomic clear preserves. Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix P2P-Device binding handling Our binding handling for P2P-Device caCVE-2026-97432 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix P2P-Device binding handling Our binding handling for P2P-Device can run into the following scenario, as observed by our testing: - a station interface is connected on some channel - the P2P-Device does a remain-on-channel (ROC) on that channel - the ROC ends, and the P2P-Device is removed from the binding, but the phy_ctxt pointer is left around as a PHY cache so we don't need to recalibrate to the channel again and again in case it's not shared - a binding update by the station interface, even a removal, will re-add the P2P-Device to the binding - the P2P-Device is removed, which removes the PHY context, but it's still in the binding so the firmware crashes Since the P2P device is removed from the binding and only re- added by unrelated code, but we want to keep the phy_ctxt around as a cache for future ROC usage, fix it by adding a boolean that indicates whether or not the P2P-Device should be added to the binding, and handle that in the binding iterator. That way, the station interface cannot re-add the P2P-Device to the binding when that isn't active.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: fix circular locking dependency in ocfs2_init_acl() A lockdep warning indicates a circular locking dependency between `&oi->ip_xattr_sem` and `&journal->j_trans_barrier`: WARNING: possible circular locking dependency detected is trying to acquire lock: (&oi->ip_xattr_sem){++++}-{4:4}, at: ocfs2_init_acl+0x2fd/0x7e0 fs/ocfs2/acl.c:367 but task is already holding lock: (&journal->j_trans_barrier){.+.+}-{4:4}, at: ocfs2_start_trans+0x3ab/0x700 fs/ocfs2/journal.c:369 The deadlock involves two code paths: Path 1 (setxattr) where `ocfs2_xattr_set()` acquires `ip_xattr_sem` (write) and then starts a transaction, which acquires `j_trans_barrier` (read); and Path 2 (mkdir/mknod) where `ocfs2_mknod()` starts a transaction (`j_trans_barrier` read) and then calls `ocfs2_init_acl()`, which attempts to acquire `ip_xattr_sem` (read) on the parent directory to retrieve the default ACL. Because rw_semaphores are subject to writer priority, a pending writer on `j_trans_barrier` (e.g., the journal commit thread) can cause Path 1 to block, while Path 2 is blocked waiting for Path 1 to release `ip_xattr_sem`. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: free preauth sessions on connection teardown SMB3.1.1 multichannel binding preserves the preauthentication hash in a preauth_session between the NTLM negotiate and authenticate requests. The binding NTLM negotiate allocates this object and returns STATUS_MORE_PROCESSING_REQUIRED. If the client disconnects before it sends the authenticate request, neither the authenticate nor error cleanup paths free the object. Release any remaining preauthentication sessions when tearing down the connection. Initialize the list when allocating the connection so that this cleanup is safe regardless of the negotiated dialect.

Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau/uvmm: fix NULL deref unwinding an OP_MAP_SPARSE op Each bind_job_op is zeroed CVE-2026-89802 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau/uvmm: fix NULL deref unwinding an OP_MAP_SPARSE op Each bind_job_op is zeroed by kzalloc_obj() in bind_job_op_from_uop(), and the OP_MAP_SPARSE case in nouveau_uvmm_bind_job_submit() only creates a region, so op->ops stays NULL for a successfully processed sparse map. If a later op in the same job fails, the reverse unwind loop revisits that op and calls drm_gpuva_ops_free(&uvmm->base, op->ops) unconditionally. drm_gpuva_ops_free() dereferences its argument right away (list_for_each_entry_safe on &ops->list), so a NULL op->ops oopses. The path is reachable by any render-node fd holder, since NOUVEAU_VM_BIND is DRM_RENDER_ALLOW. Guard the free with IS_ERR_OR_NULL(), as nouveau_uvmm_bind_job_cleanup() already does for the identical free.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau/uvmm: clear the dirty flag when unwinding an OP_UNMAP_SPARSE A successful OP_UNMAP_SPARSE marks its region dirty with nouveau_uvma_region_dirty() and defers the teardown to nouveau_uvmm_bind_job_cleanup(); it does not remove the region from uvmm->region_mt. If a later op in the job fails, the unwind path never clears reg->dirty (set in one place, cleared nowhere) and sets op->reg = NULL, so cleanup skips the teardown. The region is left in the tree with dirty set and its completion never signalled. Later binds over that range then fail permanently -- -ENOENT or -EINVAL from the dirty checks, or an unkillable wait_for_completion() in bind_validate_region() -- for the lifetime of the uvmm. Clear reg->dirty when the unwind reverts the sparse unmap, restoring the region to the state it was found in.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: svcrdma: Reject Read lists that exceed the page budget Individual Read segment lengths are validated at decode time, but nothing prevents a requester from sending multiple segments whose cumulative length exceeds the rq_pages array budget. When one segment fills the page array exactly, the runtime guard in svc_rdma_build_read_segment() is bypassed because len reaches zero. A subsequent segment then accesses the NULL sentinel slot at rq_pages[rq_maxpages], resulting in a NULL pointer dereference during DMA mapping. Accumulate pages across all Read segments and reject the message at decode time when the total would overflow the page budget.

Sep 8, 2026A flaw was found in libxml2 with Python bindings enabled.CVE-2026-74860 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.5
A flaw was found in libxml2 with Python bindings enabled. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted XML document containing a Document Type Definition (DTD) with enumerated attribute values. This triggers a double-free error in the SAX attributeDecl callback handler, where a string is freed twice. This flaw can lead to a denial of service (DoS) due to a reproducible crash in Python applications using the libxml2 SAX bindings.

Sep 6, 2026MojoX::Authentication versions before 0.006 for Perl allow SAML authentication bypass because parse_assertion builds Net::SAML2::Binding::POST without a trust aCVE-2026-86304 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8
MojoX::Authentication versions before 0.006 for Perl allow SAML authentication bypass because parse_assertion builds Net::SAML2::Binding::POST without a trust anchor. parse_assertion in MojoX::Authentication::Model::SAML2 calls Net::SAML2::Binding::POST->new with no cacert, cert_text or anchors argument, then passes the returned XML to Net::SAML2::Protocol::Assertion->new_from_xml with the IdP signing certificate as cacert. In Net::SAML2 before 0.86 that certificate guards only encrypted assertions, so the signature on an unencrypted assertion is checked against the certificate the response itself carries. An attacker starts a SAML login, then posts a response signed with a certificate of their own. The audience, InResponseTo and timestamp checks that follow are all satisfiable by the attacker, so the response authenticates any NameID it carries.

Aug 30, 2026Origin Validation Error vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows a malicious web page to bypass the MCP server's DNS-rebinding protection and issue cross-siteCVE-2026-81315 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 7.4
Origin Validation Error vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows a malicious web page to bypass the MCP server's DNS-rebinding protection and issue cross-site requests to a user's local MCP server with that user's actor. In AshAi.Mcp.Server, with the default allowed_origins: nil, origin_allowed?/3 accepts an origin when uri.host == conn.host and the forwarded scheme is https. Both values are attacker-controlled: conn.host comes from the Host header and the scheme is read from the raw x-forwarded-proto header with no trusted-proxy check. Under DNS rebinding the browser sends the attacker's origin and a matching host, and page JavaScript may set X-Forwarded-Proto: https, so the check passes with no TLS or proxy involved. The fix trusts only localhost origins by default; other origins require an explicit allowed_origins allowlist. This issue affects ash_ai: from 0.8.0 before 1.0.0.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: validate individual TWT params before driver setup ieee80211_process_rx_twCVE-2026-80722 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: validate individual TWT params before driver setup ieee80211_process_rx_twt_action() only partially validates a received S1G TWT setup frame before queueing it. An individual agreement can therefore reach ieee80211_s1g_rx_twt_setup() with twt->length too short for the full struct ieee80211_twt_params. The individual path passes twt to drv_add_twt_setup(). Both the tracepoint and the driver callback consume the complete parameters block, not merely req_type. Do not pass a short individual agreement to the driver. Broadcast agreements remain unchanged because they are rejected locally after accessing only req_type. [edit commit message to not overclaim lack of validation nor understate driver impact]

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: validate Adaptation Indication parameter length The Adaptation Layer Indication paraCVE-2026-80717 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: validate Adaptation Indication parameter length The Adaptation Layer Indication parameter contains a fixed 32-bit Adaptation Code Point after its parameter header. However, sctp_verify_param() accepts a header-only parameter because the generic parameter walker only requires the header to be present. sctp_process_param() then reads adaptation_ind beyond the declared parameter. When the malformed parameter is last in an INIT, the read starts at the receive skb tail, and the value is copied into the state cookie returned in the INIT ACK. This may disclose four receive-buffer tail bytes. Require the declared parameter length to match the fixed structure size and abort the association through the existing invalid parameter length path otherwise.
