Sep 27, 2026Nezha versions 2.0.10 through 2.3.2 use a restricted HTTP client to validate user-configurable notification and DDNS webhook URLs, but the denylist did not coveCVE-2026-101087 · Other software · nezhahq · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
Nezha versions 2.0.10 through 2.3.2 use a restricted HTTP client to validate user-configurable notification and DDNS webhook URLs, but the denylist did not cover IPv6 transition ranges — specifically the 6to4 prefix 2002::/16 and the local-use IPv4/IPv6 translation prefix 64:ff9b:1::/48. Because such addresses satisfy Go's netip.Addr.IsGlobalUnicast check, the URL validator accepted them. An authenticated user able to configure a webhook may be able to cause the dashboard to issue requests to an otherwise restricted IPv6 endpoint, but only where the dashboard's network provides unusual or non-standards-compliant routing for these transition ranges; no direct path to an IPv4 metadata, loopback, or private-network HTTP request has been demonstrated. The issue is fixed in version 2.3.3 (commit d1fcde8e), which blocks both prefixes.

Sep 27, 2026A certificate with no dNSName SAN but another SAN type present (e.g.CVE-2026-89134 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comMedium 6.3
A certificate with no dNSName SAN but another SAN type present (e.g. registeredID or iPAddress) bypassed the Subject CN dNSName name-constraint check. The CN-as-DNS fallback was gated on cert->subjectCN != NULL && cert->altNames == NULL && !cert->isCA instead of "no dNSName SAN", so an out-of-scope CN was accepted. This incomplete fix from CVE-2026-6731, leading to the name-constraint check issue, was introduced in wolfSSL version 5.9.2.

Sep 26, 2026Nodemailer versions 5.0.0 through 10.0.1 use a process-global DNS cache that is keyed only by the DNS host, while each cache entry also stores the caller-specifCVE-2026-100701 · Other software · nodemailer · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6
Nodemailer versions 5.0.0 through 10.0.1 use a process-global DNS cache that is keyed only by the DNS host, while each cache entry also stores the caller-specific TLS servername. When two direct TLS/SMTPS transports (secure: true) resolve the same non-IP host with different tls.servername values, the first transport's servername is returned on the cache hit and overwrites the second transport's explicitly configured value, so Nodemailer sends the wrong SNI value and validates the peer certificate against the wrong identity. In multi-tenant services or SNI-routed SMTP gateways, an attacker who can prime the cache can cause a victim transport to connect to the attacker's TLS virtual host and accept the attacker's certificate even with rejectUnauthorized: true, disclosing the victim's SMTP credentials. Fixed in 10.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in its trusted-host DNS checks.CVE-2026-100574 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.2
OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in its trusted-host DNS checks. For fetches that use the trusted-host DNS recheck, a trusted hostname that resolves to an unspecified address (0.0.0.0 or ::) bypasses the SSRF destination validation. An attacker who can influence DNS for an allowed hostname can therefore cause a guarded fetch to reach a service bound only to loopback and disclose its response; the practical impact depends on the reachable service and the data it returns. Fixed in 2026.8.1.

Sep 24, 2026nDPI 5.1.0 contains a memory access issue in the DNS dissector and serializer deserialization code.CVE-2026-88357 · Other software · reported by MITREHigh 7.5
nDPI 5.1.0 contains a memory access issue in the DNS dissector and serializer deserialization code. Specially crafted network input can cause byte-buffer addresses at odd offsets to be cast to uint16_t or wider integer pointers and directly dereferenced without alignment checks. This results in undefined behavior and can cause process termination in UBSan-instrumented builds or on strict-alignment architectures, leading to denial of service.

Sep 21, 2026luci-app-adblock-fast a WebUI for fast, lightweight DNS-based ad-blocker for OpenWrt that works with dnsmasq, smartdns, or unbound.CVE-2026-55159 · Other software · openwrt · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
luci-app-adblock-fast a WebUI for fast, lightweight DNS-based ad-blocker for OpenWrt that works with dnsmasq, smartdns, or unbound. Prior to 1.2.4-2, the luci.adblock-fast.setCronEntry RPC method accepts an entry argument containing carriage-return or line-feed characters and serializes it into /etc/crontabs/root as though it were one logical line. An authenticated delegated user with the luci-app-adblock-fast write ACL can therefore create an additional physical root cron entry through applications/luci-app-adblock-fast/root/usr/share/rpcd/ucode/luci.adblock-fast, resulting in persistent command execution as UID 0 when cron runs. The issue is not demonstrated for unauthenticated callers or users without the component write ACL. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.2.4-2.

rustls-webpki (the Rust webpki fork used by rustls) versions >= 0.101.0 and prior to 0.103.12 and 0.104.0-alpha.6 incorrectly accepted permitted-subtree DNS name constraints for certificates asserting a wildcard name. For example, a name constraint of accept.example.com was treated as satisfied by a certificate for *.example.com, which could feasibly assert reject.example.com — a name outside the permitted subtree. Because name constraints are restrictions applied to otherwise properly issued certificates, the issue is only reachable after signature verification succeeds and requires a misissued wildcard certificate to exploit.

Sep 17, 2026Initializing the DNS stub resolver from an /etc/resolv.conf file, or a LOCALDOMAIN environment variable, whose search list contains a domain of roughly 200 charCVE-2026-8674 · Other software · The GNU C Library · reported by 3ff69d7a-14f2-4f67-a097-88dee7810d18Medium 5.3
Initializing the DNS stub resolver from an /etc/resolv.conf file, or a LOCALDOMAIN environment variable, whose search list contains a domain of roughly 200 characters or more in the GNU C Library version 2.26 to 2.44 results in an assertion failure which aborts the process. The resolver truncates the search list when copying it into the fixed-size _res.defdname buffer, then asserts that the copy is consistent with the full configuration. The consistency check compared against the wrong size and did not handle a first entry that does not fit, so a correctly truncated list failed the assertion. Any process that resolves names through the library is affected, including long-running processes that reload /etc/resolv.conf on the next query after it changes. Search domains are commonly written to /etc/resolv.conf from data received over DHCP or from a VPN server, so an attacker on the local network may be able to trigger this without privileges on the target system, subject to validation by the network configuration software.

Sep 16, 2026A vulnerability in the DNS over TCP implementation of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense CVE-2026-20248 · Network & remote access · Cisco · reported by psirt@cisco.comMedium 6.8
A vulnerability in the DNS over TCP implementation of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the TCP DNS response handler to unexpectedly restart, causing the device to reload. This vulnerability is due to a logic error when parsing a DNS query and tracking the size of the incoming buffers. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by formatting a crafted reply to a DNS query sent from the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, causing a denial of service (DoS) condition. Note: The attacker must be able to respond to DNS queries from the device, either by controlling the DNS service or through a machine-in-the-middle attack.

Sep 16, 2026CoreDNS is a DNS server written in Go.CVE-2026-86003 · Other software · coredns · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
CoreDNS is a DNS server written in Go. Prior to 1.14.7, the DNS-over-HTTPS, DNS-over-HTTP/3, DNS-over-QUIC, and DNS-over-gRPC listeners in plugin/pkg/doh/doh.go, core/dnsserver/server_quic.go, and core/dnsserver/server_grpc.go call dns.Msg.Unpack without the dns.DefaultMsgAcceptFunc request policy used by UDP, TCP, and DNS-over-TLS. An unauthenticated client can send an RFC 2136 UPDATE that the proxy or forward plugin passes unchanged to an update-capable upstream. If that upstream trusts CoreDNS's source address or connection and does not require an attacker-unknown end-to-end TSIG, the request appears to originate from CoreDNS and can add, replace, or delete DNS records, redirect traffic, take over names, alter mail routing, or disrupt the writable zone. Sep 16, 2026CoreDNS is a DNS server written in Go.CVE-2026-82399 · Other software · coredns · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
CoreDNS is a DNS server written in Go. Prior to 1.14.7, the DNS-over-HTTPS, DNS-over-HTTP/3, DNS-over-QUIC, and DNS-over-gRPC request paths in plugin/pkg/doh/doh.go, core/dnsserver/server_quic.go, and core/dnsserver/server_grpc.go call dns.Msg.Unpack on attacker-controlled DNS section counts before dns.DefaultMsgAcceptFunc validates the fixed header. An unauthenticated client can use DNS name compression and excessive section counts to amplify allocation before the plugin chain, so plugin-level rate limiting cannot prevent concurrent requests from exhausting memory and terminating CoreDNS. The ordinary UDP and TCP listeners are not affected because they validate the header first. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.7.

Sep 16, 2026Novel vulnerabilities to launch algorithmic complexity attacks on DNSSEC have been researched under the term 'ReTrap'.CVE-2026-85501 · Other software · NLnet Labs · reported by sep@nlnetlabs.nlMedium 5.3
Novel vulnerabilities to launch algorithmic complexity attacks on DNSSEC have been researched under the term 'ReTrap'. These result in degradation of service when malicious zones are used to serve the algorithmic complexity vulnerabilities. NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0 is vulnerable to some of them. TagTrap, where the triple(Zone, Algo, KeyTag) matching mechanism introduces a significant attack vector when resolvers handle malicious responses containing numerous mismatched DNSKEY, RRSIG, and DS record. DelegationTrap, where constructing the chain-of-trust requires iterative validation of DNSKEY and DS records from the root zone downward. For deeply nested domains, this results in significant computational overhead. NsecTrap, where responses with excessive invalid NSEC records compel the resolver to validate each one. AdditionalTrap, where Unbound by default would try to DNSSEC validate the ADDITIONAL section as well. This can be exploited to waste validation resources by malicious users.

NLnet Labs Unbound 1.12.0 up to and including 1.26.0 has a use-after-free vulnerability when compiled for DNS-over-HTTPs support with '--with-libnghttp2'. During failure code paths (i.e., RPZ drop query, jostle due to heavy traffic), a dropped DoH stream brings down the whole DoH session and does not account properly for other DoH streams in the same session. This leads to use-after-free in those code paths. If the prerequisites are satisfied (possible RPZ drop or heavy client traffic), a malicious actor can trigger the vulnerability with a single DoH connection and the appropriate traffic. Impact is limited as the reads are not user controlled and the use-after-free leads to early returns. However, a hardened allocator can catch the use-after-free and controllably terminate the process resulting to denial of service.

Sep 16, 2026NLnet Labs Unbound 1.22.0 up to and including 1.26.1, has a use-after-free vulnerability when compiled for DNS-over-QUIC support with '--with-libngtcp2'.CVE-2026-78227 · Other software · NLnet Labs · reported by sep@nlnetlabs.nlMedium 6.5
NLnet Labs Unbound 1.22.0 up to and including 1.26.1, has a use-after-free vulnerability when compiled for DNS-over-QUIC support with '--with-libngtcp2'. Each DoQ stream owns an output buffer that holds the DNS response. ngtcp2's retransmission buffer keeps a shallow pointer into the output buffer for as long as a STREAM frame may be resent. On a client RESET_STREAM, the output buffer is freed but ngtcp2 still holds the matching retransmission entries. The next PTO timeout makes ngtcp2 re-encode the STREAM frame and copy from the freed buffer. A malicious actor that can query Unbound over DoQ and that withholds ACKs, sends RESET_STREAM, and waits for PTO, reaches this use-after-free with no privilege. This leads to retransmissions against freed memory and eventually an abnormal server exit under a 20-query spray.

Sep 15, 2026Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery iremote file import via cross-port reuse of a host's validated DNS pin.CVE-2026-18424 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deLow 2.1
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery iremote file import via cross-port reuse of a host's validated DNS pin. When multiple remote URLs share the same host, only the first `ValidatedRemoteUrl` is retained and reused for every later URL with that host. A low-privileged authenticated user permitted to import files could therefore supply a DNS-rebinding host that resolved to a public address during validation and to a private or loopback address during the unpinned download, causing the server to fetch internal-only resources such as loopback services, internal admin panels, or cloud metadata endpoints and to save the responses into the file manager. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:N/SA:N. Sep 15, 2026Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in Slab safeurl allows an attacker who controls a hostname's DNS responses to reach internal network destinatiCVE-2026-77972 · Other software · Slab · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9
Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in Slab safeurl allows an attacker who controls a hostname's DNS responses to reach internal network destinations that validation rejected. Validation returns a verdict and not the address it approved, so the HTTP clients the library ships receive the original hostname and resolve it a second time when the request is made. An attacker who controls the authoritative DNS for a name can answer the first lookup with a permitted address and the second with a blocked one, and the request then reaches a destination validation never approved. The same window opens without an attacker whenever a name legitimately resolves to different addresses across lookups, such as short record lifetimes or rotation between several addresses. Sep 10, 2026The nscd service in the GNU C Library 2.3.4 onwards may crash due to a stack overflow when a malicious DNS server returns too large a response for a DNS queryCVE-2026-89092 · Other software · The GNU C Library · reported by 3ff69d7a-14f2-4f67-a097-88dee7810d18Medium 4.2
The nscd service in the GNU C Library 2.3.4 onwards may crash due to a stack overflow when a malicious DNS server returns too large a response for a DNS query, resulting in degraded DNS resolution for the system. Exploitation of this bug needs a system that has nscd enabled and using an untrusted DNS server for name resolution, with the compromised DNS server being capable of processing records large enough to result in a stack overflow in an nscd thread stack. During experimentation, bind 9 was unable to handle large records, but that could change in future or with a different name server. In typical installations, nscd is executed in an isolated context as its own user without a shell, due to which any compromise of that service is isolated. There is a remote possibility of nscd cache corruption if an attacker manages to get the stack pointer into a desired point in the heap, potentially resulting in other caches in nscd being overwritten with corrupt data through the stack overflow, until the buggy code path eventually results in a crash. Finally, a crash in nscd may result in performance degradation when resolving names, but it does not result in a deni

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
