Sep 28, 2026Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - Privileged stored XSS via data-rlta-url attributes in Tabs & Accordions (Pro) 2.3.0 - 3.1.0 - Tabs & Accordions Pro acceptsCVE-2026-100751 · Other software · regularlabs.com · reported by security@joomla.orgHigh 7.5
Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - Privileged stored XSS via data-rlta-url attributes in Tabs & Accordions (Pro) 2.3.0 - 3.1.0 - Tabs & Accordions Pro accepts a url option for an item and writes it to a generated data-rlta-url attribute. The browser code passes that value to window.open() when the item is activated. Affected versions do not reject browser URL schemes which execute JavaScript. Joomla sees ordinary plugin syntax while filtering the authored article; Tabs & Accordions creates the executable browser behavior later while rendering the article.

Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - LFI / SSRF in Modules Anywhere 1.5.0 - 9.0.5 for Joomla - Modules Anywhere Pro lets additional attributes on a module tag replace arbitrary parameters of the selected module. This feature is enabled by default in affected versions. The overrides are applied without checking who authored the content containing the tag. The security effect depends on how the selected module consumes the replaced parameter. Joomla's core Feed module provides a concrete affected path: its rssurl parameter is opened by the server and accepts local file: URLs as well as network URLs.

Sep 26, 2026SiYuan v3.8.3 fails to HTML-escape the data-subtype attribute when generating gutter-button markup (app/src/protyle/gutter/button.ts, assigned via innerHTML in CVE-2026-100639 · Other software · siyuan-note · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6
SiYuan v3.8.3 fails to HTML-escape the data-subtype attribute when generating gutter-button markup (app/src/protyle/gutter/button.ts, assigned via innerHTML in app/src/protyle/gutter/index.ts) from content pasted as plain-text Markdown containing a Kramdown inline attribute list (IAL). Because the shared Lute renderer parses Kramdown IAL from text/plain input, an attacker-supplied Markdown snippet using entity-encoded quotes in data-subtype breaks out of the attribute value when the gutter markup is re-parsed by the browser, injecting additional attributes such as autofocus and onfocus. If a victim pastes the crafted Markdown and the affected gutter control receives focus, the injected handler executes; in the Electron desktop application, where the main BrowserWindow enables Node integration and disables context isolation, this results in JavaScript execution with renderer Node.js privileges (remote code execution). Fixed in v3.8.4.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: bound $AttrDef table walk to the loaded table size ntfs_attr_find_in_attrdef() walks the in-memory $AttrDef table, but the loop condition bounds only the start of each entry, not the whole entry: for (ad = vol->attrdef; (u8 *)ad - (u8 *)vol->attrdef < vol->attrdef_size && ad->type; ++ad) struct attr_def is 160 bytes; the guard reads ad->type at offset 128 and the loop body reads further fields. vol->attrdef is kvzalloc(i_size), where i_size is the on-disk $AttrDef data size, checked in load_and_init_attrdef() only as 0 < i_size <= 0x7fffffff. Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm/pat: Acquire init_mm write lock on collapse to avoid UAF x86 implements page attribCVE-2026-97943 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm/pat: Acquire init_mm write lock on collapse to avoid UAF x86 implements page attribute modification using its Change Page Attributes (CPA) mechanism. This tracks properties of ranges such as cache mode through x86 page attributes, and as part of that logic manipulates kernel page tables. Since commit: 41d88484c71c ("x86/mm/pat: restore large ROX pages after fragmentation") ranges of kernel page table entries can be collapsed into huge page table entries as part of this logic. As part of this collapse, it frees the page tables which the collapsed entries previously pointed to, and it does so without any relevant locks being held to preclude concurrent kernel page table walkers. The only way this code can be reached is if CPA_COLLAPSE is specified, and this is only set in set_memory_rox() via: set_memory_rox() -> change_page_attr_set_clr() -> cpa_flush() -> cpa_collapse_large_pages() Notable users of this are execmem and BPF when manipulating executable mappings. However, this is problematic for ptdump as it walks ranges it does not own and thus runs the risk of a use-after-free on page tables fre

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: avoid using uninitialized SIDs in cifs_posix_to_fattr() cifs_posix_to_fattr()CVE-2026-97554 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: avoid using uninitialized SIDs in cifs_posix_to_fattr() cifs_posix_to_fattr() ignores the return value of posix_info_parse(). When a malformed POSIX directory entry is encountered (e.g. invalid SID lengths from an untrusted server), posix_info_parse() returns -1 without populating the 'parsed' struct. The uninitialized stack memory in parsed.owner and parsed.group is then passed to sid_to_id(), which processes the garbage bytes and passes them to request_key() to construct a SID string, potentially leaking kernel stack contents to the userspace idmap daemon. Fix this by checking the return value and skipping the SID-to-id mapping when parsing fails. The remaining fattr fields (timestamps, mode, etc.) are populated directly from the 'info' pointer so they are unaffected.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm/pat: Acquire init_mm read lock on attribute changes to avoid UAF A previous commit CVE-2026-97533 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm/pat: Acquire init_mm read lock on attribute changes to avoid UAF A previous commit protected against races between ptdump and CPA collapse, however one still exists between attribute changes and collapse as reported by Denis V. Lunev (linked). When an attribute change arises, a lockless page table walker obtains a PTE entry, which is later written to via set_pte_atomic(): ... -> change_page_attr_set_clr() -> __change_page_attr_set_clr() -> __change_page_attr() -> _lookup_address_cpa() -> lookup_address_in_pgd_attr() -> [ lockless page table walker ] -> set_pte_atomic() There is nothing preventing a concurrent CPA collapse which can free the PTE that was retrieved here, resulting in a use-after-free. With the mmap write lock taken on init_mm over CPA collapse, resolve this race by acquiring an mmap read lock on init_mm over __change_page_attr_set_clr(). This locks across the whole operation over which the walk and the PTE entry write occurs, solving the race. It is safe to do this here, as no spinlocks are held upon entry to __change_page_attr_set_clr(). However, the lock must not be hel

Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in ash-project ash allows a user to set the value of a private action argument on the bulk destroy and bulk update paths. Action arguments declared with public?: false are meant to be set only by trusted server-side code (for example via Ash.Changeset.set_private_argument/3) and must not be settable from end-user input. CVE-2026-55736 fixed the non-bulk changeset path to strip private arguments from user-supplied parameter maps, but the bulk destroy and bulk update paths were not covered. Ash.Actions.Destroy.Bulk.base_changeset/5 and Ash.Actions.Update.Bulk.base_changeset/5 match every key in the caller-supplied parameter map against all of the action's arguments with no public? check, then apply the matches to the base changeset. A caller who can submit parameters to a bulk destroy or bulk update action (for example through AshJsonApi, AshGraphql, or a controller that forwards request parameters to Ash.bulk_destroy/4 or Ash.bulk_update/4) can therefore set any private argument of that action, including one referenced by an arg(...) template in the action's changes or validations. Sep 24, 2026OpenEXR 3.4.14 contains a NULL Pointer Dereference in the C++ attribute parsing path.CVE-2026-88384 · Other software · reported by MITREMedium 5.5
OpenEXR 3.4.14 contains a NULL Pointer Dereference in the C++ attribute parsing path. A specially crafted EXR file containing an unknown-type attribute with dataSize set to zero causes the parser to create an opaque attribute with a NULL packed_data pointer. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cdx: Fix double free when sysfs file creation fails In cdx_create_res_attr(), if sysfs_create_bin_file() fails, the code frees res_attr but doesn't set cdx_dev->res_attr[num] to NULL. Sep 23, 2026Notification template Jinja AST whitelist only inspects static Getattr nodes.CVE-2026-71463 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatLow 2.7
Notification template Jinja AST whitelist only inspects static Getattr nodes. Dynamic subscripts (job['job'+'_env']) and {% if job.id > 100 %} conditional gating bypass both the AST check and the test-render (stub has small job.id). At runtime, the gated branch executes and exceptions write full tracebacks into notification body, which is POSTed to attacker-controlled webhook URL. Leaks install paths, Python version, source line numbers.

Missing validation of a mandatory attribute in the SCRAM client-final-message parser in PgBouncer through 1.25.2 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the process. A malformed message can make the parser report success while leaving a required value unset, which is then dereferenced as a NULL pointer. The crash occurs before any credential is verified, so no valid account is required. Because PgBouncer serves all clients from a single process, this terminates every pooled connection.

Sep 22, 2026A typo in the MISP ACLComponent access control configuration caused the ACL rule for the previewEventAttributes action to reference the permission string 'themiCVE-2026-95805 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3
A typo in the MISP ACLComponent access control configuration caused the ACL rule for the previewEventAttributes action to reference the permission string 'theming_enabled*' (with a trailing asterisk) instead of the correct 'theming_enabled'. In the MISP ACL system, the array values define which role or permission grants access to a given controller action. The adjacent entry previewEventObjects correctly uses ['theming_enabled'], confirming the intended restriction. The malformed key 'theming_enabled*' does not match any valid permission identifier, causing the access control check for previewEventAttributes to malfunction. Depending on the ACL evaluation logic, this could result in either unauthorized users gaining access to the previewEventAttributes endpoint (authorization bypass) or legitimate users being denied access (availability impact). The previewEventAttributes endpoint exposes event attribute data within MISP so an authorization bypass could expose sensitive indicator and attribute data to users who should not have access.

MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the attribute histogram view. The $selectedTypes variable, which is derived from the URL path segment , was interpolated directly into a JavaScript array literal inside an onClick HTML attribute without any encoding or escaping. An attacker who can cause an authenticated MISP user to visit a crafted URL containing a malicious type value can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser within the MISP application origin. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to read session cookies, perform actions on behalf of the victim, or exfiltrate sensitive data accessible from the MISP interface. The vulnerability requires the victim to be authenticated and to actively navigate to the attacker-supplied URL.

When a regular user adds a reference between objects or attributes, MISP checks whether the user can access the overall event, but it does not always check whether the individual pieces of data are also allowed for that user. Because of this, someone who can view an event could potentially access attributes or objects inside that event that were meant to be restricted to a specific sharing group or distribution level. The vulnerability affects authenticated users who are not site administrators and who already have access to an event containing more restricted data. The main impact is that users may be able to view sensitive attribute values, object details, or related object data that they should not normally be allowed to see.

Sep 19, 2026DBI versions before 1.653 for Perl load arbitrary modules via unvalidated dbm_type and dbm_mldbm attributes in DBD::DBM.CVE-2026-78030 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8
DBI versions before 1.653 for Perl load arbitrary modules via unvalidated dbm_type and dbm_mldbm attributes in DBD::DBM. DBD::DBM passes the dbm_type and dbm_mldbm connect attributes to require without checking that the value names a module. require treats a path-shaped string as a literal filename and does not consult @INC, so the attribute chooses the file that Perl loads and runs. The MLDBM::Serializer:: prefix that DBD::DBM prepends to dbm_mldbm is not a boundary: only the :: separators are rewritten to /, so a value containing / traverses out of the serializer directory. The value is also assigned to $MLDBM::Serializer, which MLDBM requires the same way when it ties the table. A caller that lets an untrusted party influence either attribute, for example through a DSN fragment or a parameter that selects a storage backend, runs the file-scope code of whatever module the value names. For example, my $dsn = "dbi:DBM:f_dir=/var/db;dbm_type=../../Untrusted.pm" my $dbh = DBI->connect( $dsn ); Note that DBD::Gofer forwards connect attributes to the server side, and DBI::ProxyServer checks only that a DSN starts with a driver prefix.

However, master->this is freed in i3c_master_detach_free_devs() before the master device itself is released. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix ABBA deadlock in ext4_xattr_inode_cache_find() Syzbot/stress-ng reported an ABBA deadlock in ext4 when exercising concurrent xattr workloads (using the ea_inode mount/format option). The deadlock occurs between the running transaction and the eviction thread: - Task 1 (stress-ng): Holds a reference to a shared mbcache_entry (ce) and calls ext4_xattr_inode_cache_find() -> ext4_iget() to retrieve the corresponding EA inode. Since the EA inode is currently being evicted, ext4_iget() blocks in __wait_on_freeing_inode() waiting for eviction to complete. - Task 2 (eviction thread): Currently evicting the same EA inode in ext4_evict_ea_inode(). It calls mb_cache_entry_wait_unused(oe) which blocks waiting for Task 1 to release the reference to the mbcache_entry. To break this deadlock, implement a new ext4_iget() configuration flag named EXT4_IGET_NOWAIT. When set, perform a non-blocking lookup of the inode via VFS's find_inode_nowait() API. If the inode is currently being evicted (marked with I_FREEING or I_WILL_FREE) or created (I_CREATING), or if it is not present in the VFS inode cache (cache

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: validate inline xattrs during inode block validation Patch series "ocfs2: validate xattr entry bounds", v7. This series validates OCFS2 xattr entry name/value bounds when xattr metadata is read and validated, before getxattr() or listxattr() can walk out-of-range entry arrays or offsets from corrupted metadata. This patch (of 2): ocfs2_validate_inode_block() verifies a dinode before OCFS2 users walk metadata from it, but inline xattr metadata is still checked only in operation-specific consumers. The existing ibody lookup helper validates inline header placement and entry count, but inode block validation does not reject entry name/value bounds. Add a flat xattr entry validator and call it from inode block validation for inline xattrs. Keep the operation paths on their existing header/count lookup checks; the full entry bounds check now runs when the inode block is validated at read time. Reject corrupted inline xattr metadata before ocfs2_xattr_ibody_get() or listxattr() can walk past the inline storage. Validation reproduced this kernel report: BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in ocfs2_xattr_find_entr
