  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-54630 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.1, the part attachment upload handler stores uploaded files under the web-served media directory using the client-supplied file extension, and its extension blocklist does not include phar. AttachmentSubmitHandler::renameBlacklistedExtensions() rewrites dangerous extensions (php, phtml, sh, cgi, py, js, html, htaccess, ...) to .txt, but phar is absent from the list, so a .phar file keeps its extension. Public attachments (the default) are written into public/media/, which is the Apache document root. The shipped Apache configuration routes .phar to PHP-FPM, so the stored file is executed as PHP on request. The per-attachment-type extension filter is empty by default and is not consulted by the upload handler in a way that blocks this, and a non-admin user in the default users group can create an attachment type with no filter and attach files to parts. Any authenticated user in the default users group uploads a .phar attachment to a part and fetches it under /media/, executing arbitrary PHP as the www-data web user. Ability to exploit depends on the webserver config, docker image

  • Oct 23, 2026Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components.CVE-2026-54615 · Other software · Part-DB · reported by GitHubMedium 6

Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.1, LogEntryExtraFormatter builds the HTML shown in the "Extra" column of the activity-log table (/log) and in element history tables. Every branch of LogEntryExtraFormatter::getInternalFormat() runs user-controlled strings through htmlspecialchars() before placing them into the HTML it returns — except the CollectionElementDeleted branch, which interpolates getOldName() (and getCollectionName()) into a sprintf() template with no escaping. The returned string is emitted by LogEntryExtraColumn::render() and inserted as raw HTML into the DataTables cell (the bundle does not escape column output; sibling columns call htmlspecialchars() themselves). CollectionElementDeleted.getOldName() is the name of a deleted collection sub-element — a part Parameter, Attachment, PartLot, Orderdetail, etc. — all freely set by any user with edit rights on the owning element. A low-privileged content editor can therefore store an HTML/script payload as the name of such a sub-element, delete it (which writes the log entry), and have that markup parsed as live DOM in the browser of a higher-privileged vi

CloudPirates Open Source Helm Charts is a collection of Helm charts. Prior to commit 271d415, pull_request_target workflow is vulnerable to cache poisoning and OIDC token theft. A pull_request_target workflow checks out fork code using github.event.pull_request.head.sha or .head.ref. This gives attacker-controlled code access to base repository secrets and tokens. A pull_request_target workflow writes to a shared Actions cache. A subsequent release or publish workflow restores from the same cache scope, allowing a poisoned cache entry to execute during release. This issue has been patched via commit 271d415.

  • Oct 22, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in esaml in dropbox esaml allows an unauthenticated attacker to exhaust the Erlang VM atom taCVE-2026-86696 · Other software · handnot2 · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.2

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in esaml in dropbox esaml allows an unauthenticated attacker to exhaust the Erlang VM atom table and crash the node via unsigned LogoutResponse messages. esaml:status_code_map/1 in src/esaml.erl maps any StatusCode value it does not recognize to an atom with list_to_atom/1 on the last colon-separated segment of the URN. esaml_sp:validate_logout_response/2 verifies a signature only when the message carries one, so an unsigned LogoutResponse posted to the single-logout endpoint reaches esaml:decode_logout_response/1 and mints one permanent atom per distinct status value. Atoms are never reclaimed and the VM caps the atom table at about one million entries, so an attacker who posts that many distinct values aborts the node. This issue affects esaml: from 0.1.0 onward.

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in esaml_binding in dropbox esaml allows an unauthenticated attacker to exhaust the Erlang VM atom table and crash the node via a crafted SAMLResponse. esaml_binding:decode_response/2 parses the decoded SAMLResponse with xmerl_scan:string/2, which interns every element name, attribute name, and namespace prefix it reads as a permanent atom. The SAML consume (ACS) and single-logout endpoints call it on unauthenticated requests before any signature check, so one well-formed document with thousands of distinct names mints thousands of atoms while staying inside the 128 KB request body limit. Atoms are never reclaimed and the VM caps the atom table at about one million entries, so a few dozen requests abort the node. This issue affects esaml: from 0.1.0 onward.

Apache Pulsar shadow topics (PIP-180) are topics that read the stored messages of a source topic from that topic's managed ledger. The source topic is selected by setting the reserved topic property PULSAR.SHADOW_SOURCE. The admin REST API accepts this property when creating a non-partitioned or partitioned topic and when updating the properties of an existing topic. On these paths the broker authorizes the caller only against the topic being created or updated. It does not authorize the caller against the source topic named in the property. The existing authorization for shadow topic configuration (the SHADOW_TOPIC topic policy on the source topic) is applied only to the source-side shadow topics admin API, not to these paths. As a result, an authenticated user who is allowed to create topics or update topic properties in one tenant can bind a topic in that tenant to a persistent topic in any other tenant. With the default authorization provider, these operations require the tenant admin role for the user's own tenant. The user does not need any permission on the source topic, its namespace or its tenant. This impact analysis assumes that Pulsar has been configured with the defau

Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 3.13.0 until 4.6.2, the server-island renderer serializes raw useHeadSafe entry input into the island response without preserving the safe-input marker, and NuxtIsland later inserts that input into the page head as an ordinary entry. An application that passes attacker-controlled data to useHeadSafe in a .server.vue component or page, or in a component rendered through NuxtIsland, can therefore render values normally removed by the allowlist, including event-handler attributes or executable script content, resulting in stored cross-site scripting in the application origin. Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. Prior to 4.6.2, Nuxt resolves pages case-insensitively by default while Nitro matches server-side route-rule keys case-sensitively, allowing a request whose path differs only by letter case to render without the server rule intended for that page. The mismatch can skip redirect, headers, proxy, ssr: false, and noScripts, and can cause getRouteRules(event) and matchRouteRules to return no rule for the case variant. Applications that set router.options.sensitive: true in nuxt.config are not affected; setting sensitive only in app/router.options.ts does not establish this exclusion because the server follows the nuxt.config value. Access checks implemented in server middleware, page route middleware, or page data fetching remain independent of this matcher. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.2.

When package management is enabled, Pulsar Functions, Sources and Sinks can be registered or updated from a package stored in the Pulsar Packages Management Service by supplying a package URL. The Pulsar Functions worker authorized these requests only against the namespace in which the component was being registered or updated. It did not check whether the requesting user was permitted to access packages in the namespace that the package URL refers to, and it retrieved the package from the broker using the worker's own credentials. The permission check of the Packages Management Service was therefore applied to the worker's identity instead of the requesting user's. Package URLs of transform functions supplied when registering or updating a sink were handled in the same way. An authenticated user who is permitted to register or update functions, sources or sinks in any namespace of their own tenant could use this to obtain the contents of a package stored in a namespace of another tenant, without having the packages permission on that namespace. The impact is limited to disclosure of package contents, which may include application code, business logic or embedded credentials. The

Use of a less trusted source for the envelope sender in the external-account download of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to have mail they write in the name of a domain the server hosts sent on by the server with an envelope sender at that domain, so that it passes the domain's SPF and DMARC at other receivers. A message the server downloads from an external POP3 or IMAP account has no SMTP envelope of its own, and the server took the address in its From header as its envelope sender, whatever that address was. A forward or redirect of the downloaded message to an outside address then left with that address as its envelope sender, which the Sender Rewriting Scheme leaves alone for a hosted domain, so that the receiver's SPF check passed for the forged domain, aligned even under strict alignment, with no non-default setting, host name record or DMARC policy needed. An attacker needs to know a mailbox elsewhere that an account here collects and forwards to an outside address; an account holder who adds an external account of their own can collect from a server of their own, which matters where SmtpAuthenticatedSenderCheck hol

Insufficient resource pool in the ACME HTTP-01 challenge responder of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a certificate issuance or renewal to fail. When the server obtains or renews a TLS certificate over ACME it runs an HTTP-01 challenge responder on port 80 for the certificate authority to read the challenge token; the responder served one connection at a time, accepting a socket, waiting up to five seconds to receive a request, answering it, and only then accepting the next. A client that connected and sent nothing held the single worker for the whole timeout, so enough idle connections during a validation keep the certificate authority's own request from being answered in time and the validation fails. Sustained across a certificate's renewals this leads to the certificate expiring, after which clients refuse the server's TLS; the mail service itself continues on its current certificate until then. No authentication is required to connect to the responder. Version 6.3.7 serves up to 64 connections at once and closes a connection past that, so that where a handful of idle connections, one after another, sufficed be

  • Oct 21, 2026A flaw was found in the PathResourceManager component of the Undertow web server.CVE-2026-114370 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatLow 3.7

A flaw was found in the PathResourceManager component of the Undertow web server. This component is responsible for serving static files from the file system. The issue occurs because the mechanism used to verify if a symbolic link points to a safe location only checks if the target path starts with a specific string, without ensuring it matches a full directory name. This could allow an attacker to access files in a sibling directory if that directorys name starts with the same characters as an authorized safe directory.
