Mar 18, 2025imFAQ is an advanced questions and answers management system for ImpressCMS.CVE-2025-29930 · Other software · ImpressModules · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
imFAQ is an advanced questions and answers management system for ImpressCMS. Prior to 1.0.1, if the $_GET['seoOp'] parameter is manipulated to include malicious input (e.g., seoOp=php://filter/read=convert.base64-encode/resource=/var/www/html/config.php), the application could allow an attacker to read sensitive files on the server (Local File Inclusion, LFI). The $_GET['seoOp'] and $_GET['seoArg'] parameters are directly used without sanitization or validation. This is partly mitigated by the fact that the ImpressCMS sensitive files are stored outside the web root, in a folder with a randomized name. The issue has been resolved in imFaq 1.0.1.

Mar 6, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: qcom: scm: Fix missing read barrier in qcom_scm_get_tzmem_pool() Commit 2e495516CVE-2024-58084 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: qcom: scm: Fix missing read barrier in qcom_scm_get_tzmem_pool() Commit 2e4955167ec5 ("firmware: qcom: scm: Fix __scm and waitq completion variable initialization") introduced a write barrier in probe function to store global '__scm' variable. We all known barriers are paired (see memory-barriers.txt: "Note that write barriers should normally be paired with read or address-dependency barriers"), therefore accessing it from concurrent contexts requires read barrier. Previous commit added such barrier in qcom_scm_is_available(), so let's use that directly. Lack of this read barrier can result in fetching stale '__scm' variable value, NULL, and dereferencing it. Note that barrier in qcom_scm_is_available() satisfies here the control dependency.

Feb 26, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: qcom: scm: Cleanup global '__scm' on probe failures If SCM driver fails the probCVE-2024-57985 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: qcom: scm: Cleanup global '__scm' on probe failures If SCM driver fails the probe, it should not leave global '__scm' variable assigned, because external users of this driver will assume the probe finished successfully. For example TZMEM parts ('__scm->mempool') are initialized later in the probe, but users of it (__scm_smc_call()) rely on the '__scm' variable. This fixes theoretical NULL pointer exception, triggered via introducing probe deferral in SCM driver with call trace: qcom_tzmem_alloc+0x70/0x1ac (P) qcom_tzmem_alloc+0x64/0x1ac (L) qcom_scm_assign_mem+0x78/0x194 qcom_rmtfs_mem_probe+0x2d4/0x38c platform_probe+0x68/0xc8

Feb 26, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_scmi: Fix list protocols enumeration in the base protocol While enumerating CVE-2022-49451 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.4
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_scmi: Fix list protocols enumeration in the base protocol While enumerating protocols implemented by the SCMI platform using BASE_DISCOVER_LIST_PROTOCOLS, the number of returned protocols is currently validated in an improper way since the check employs a sum between unsigned integers that could overflow and cause the check itself to be silently bypassed if the returned value 'loop_num_ret' is big enough. Fix the validation avoiding the addition.

Feb 26, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/papr_scm: Fix leaking nvdimm_events_map elements Right now 'char *' elements allocCVE-2022-49436 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/papr_scm: Fix leaking nvdimm_events_map elements Right now 'char *' elements allocated for individual 'stat_id' in 'papr_scm_priv.nvdimm_events_map[]' during papr_scm_pmu_check_events(), get leaked in papr_scm_remove() and papr_scm_pmu_register(), papr_scm_pmu_check_events() error paths. Also individual 'stat_id' arent NULL terminated 'char *' instead they are fixed 8-byte sized identifiers. However papr_scm_pmu_register() assumes it to be a NULL terminated 'char *' and at other places it assumes it to be a 'papr_scm_perf_stat.stat_id' sized string which is 8-byes in size. Fix this by allocating the memory for papr_scm_priv.nvdimm_events_map to also include space for 'stat_id' entries. This is possible since number of available events/stat_ids are known upfront. This saves some memory and one extra level of indirection from 'nvdimm_events_map' to 'stat_id'. Also rest of the code can continue to call 'kfree(papr_scm_priv.nvdimm_events_map)' without needing to iterate over the array and free up individual elements.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: qcom: scm: Mark get_wq_ctx() as atomic call Currently get_wq_ctx() is wrongly configured as a standard call. When two SMC calls are in sleep and one SMC wakes up, it calls get_wq_ctx() to resume the corresponding sleeping thread. But if get_wq_ctx() is interrupted, goes to sleep and another SMC call is waiting to be allocated a waitq context, it leads to a deadlock. To avoid this get_wq_ctx() must be an atomic call and can't be a standard SMC call. Hence mark get_wq_ctx() as a fast call.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_scmi: Fix double free in SMC transport cleanup path When the generic SCMI code tears down a channel, it calls the chan_free callback function, defined by each transport. Since multiple protocols might share the same transport_info member, chan_free() might want to clean up the same member multiple times within the given SCMI transport implementation. In this case, it is SMC transport. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pmdomain: arm: Fix NULL dereference on scmi_perf_domain removal On unloading of the scmi_perf_domain module got the below splat, when in the DT provided to the system under test the '#power-domain-cells' property was missing. Indeed, this particular setup causes the probe to bail out early without giving any error, which leads to the ->remove() callback gets to run too, but without all the expected initialized structures in place. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
