In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: cortina: Ack RX overrun interrupt correctly The RX overrun interrupt is reported in interrupt status register 4, but gmac_irq() acknowledges it using the RX descriptor error bit from status register 0. For GMAC0 this writes the GMAC1 overrun bit, while for GMAC1 the shift leaves no bit in the 32-bit register. Acknowledge the same per-port RX overrun bit that was detected.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/dax: check zero or empty entry before converting xarray entry Calling dax_to_folio() wiCVE-2026-98259 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/dax: check zero or empty entry before converting xarray entry Calling dax_to_folio() with empty entry causes kernel panic below when booting a VM with DAX enabled storage. This patch checks empty entry before calling dax_to_folio() on dax_associate_entry(), dax_disassociate_entry(), and dax_busy_page(). Commit 98c183a4fccf ("fs/dax: don't disassociate zero page entries") added guards in the associate and disassociate paths, but the guards still come after dax_to_folio(), and dax_busy_page() still has the same problem. Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-75600 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to version 17.0.9, authenticated users who are authorized to access the GraphQL api module interface of FreePBX are able to execute arbitrary shell commands. Authenticated access to the api module is required. The PBX API module's documentation generator accepts an authenticated host parameter and uses it to build a shell command. The code path validates the generated OAuth access token before execution, but it does not validate or escape host. Compromise results in authenticated arbitrary shell command execution as the FreePBX web/PBX service user (typically asterisk.). This issue has been patched in version 17.0.9.

Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-54710 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7, a critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in the superfecta module due to unsafe inclusion of arbitrary PHP files, allowing authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server with the privileges of the web server user. Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability is rooted in the options and save_options cases in the Superfecta module's AJAX handler. The code dynamically includes PHP files from the sources/ directory based on user-supplied input. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code when combined with arbitrary directory creation (e.g., via the backup module) and file uploads that reveal full paths (e.g., via the soundlang module). This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7.

FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7, a critical vulnerability exists in the FreePBX backup Module that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server. Authentication with a known username that has sufficient access permissions and/or write access to backup files is required. This vulnerability is caused by improper path sanitization in the backup restore functionality, enabling attackers to upload malicious PHP files to the web root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7.

Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-54675 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5, a critical vulnerability exists in the sound language upload and conversion functionality that allows an authenticated attacker to perform arbitrary file writes, leading directly to remote code execution (RCE). Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability stems from insufficient path sanitization in the file conversion process, enabling path traversal attacks that place malicious PHP files in the web server's root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5.

Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-54674 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.39 and 17.0.7, users authenticated via User Control Panel (UCP) are able to execute arbitrary commands on the PBX as the webserver user (typically asterisk) using specially crafted HTTP strings. Authenticated access to UCP is required. Note that this is often more common for less-privileged users to have UCP access vs. the Administrator Control Panel (ACP) access (which is usually FreePBX higher-level administrator accounts only). Insufficient sanitization of certain URL parameters utilized by UCP did not fully account for malicious strings in these fields. This could result in binaries being executed on the host server by carefully chaining commands. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.39 and 17.0.7.

Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-45562 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.4 and 17.0.6, the FreePBX Music on Hold (MoH) module contains a critical security flaw that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary system commands with the privileges of the Asterisk service. Authentication with an existing FreePBX administrator account is required. The root cause lies in the fact that the module accepts a POST parameter that defines a custom Asterisk application, which is then stored in the database without any sanitization. Later, this data is written directly to the musiconhold_additional.conf configuration file without validation. Since Asterisk reads this configuration file and executes the specified application, an attacker can inject arbitrary commands that will be executed with Asterisk's permissions. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.4 and 17.0.6.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_input: stop callbacks before unregistering input device virtinput_remove() unregistCVE-2026-97986 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_input: stop callbacks before unregistering input device virtinput_remove() unregisters the input device before resetting the virtio device. virtinput_recv_events() drops vi->lock around input_event(), so clearing vi->ready does not stop a callback that passed the entry check. It can still use vi->idev, requeue buffers and kick the queue. Reset first, as virtinput_freeze() already does. With the preceding core change, reset waits for callbacks before input_unregister_device() can free vi->idev. Recheck vi->ready after taking the lock again: keep draining completed events so an input packet is not truncated, but stop requeueing buffers and kicking the queue. With evdev attached, input_unregister_handle() currently waits for an RCU grace period, which also waits out IRQ callbacks. This masks the lifetime bug on PCI and MMIO, but does not protect sleepable callbacks on other transports.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: cortina: Fix budget accounting The gmac_rx() function returns the remaining NAPI budget, but its caller treats the return value as the number of packets received. An idle poll therefore reports a full budget and remains scheduled. Return the number of received packets instead. Preserve the existing free queue refill accounting by adding that count directly; continuing to subtract it from the budget would invert the refill behavior.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: cortina: Count dropped frames as NAPI work The RX loop only consumes budget when it successfully delivers a frame. Error paths keep consuming descriptors without reducing the budget, so a stream of bad frames can process the entire receive ring in one poll. Move the budget accounting to a common end-of-frame path. This counts each completed frame as NAPI work whether it was delivered or dropped, matching the behavior of the vendor driver.

Sep 22, 2026UTF8DataInputJsonParser._reportInvalidToken() in FasterXML jackson-core builds the offending-token text for its error message by appending Java identifier charaCVE-2026-89425 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5
UTF8DataInputJsonParser._reportInvalidToken() in FasterXML jackson-core builds the offending-token text for its error message by appending Java identifier characters to a StringBuilder in a loop that has no upper bound. Unlike the three sibling parser implementations, including UTF8StreamJsonParser, it never consults ErrorReportConfiguration.getMaxErrorTokenLength() (default 256). A malformed token supplied to a parser created through JsonFactory.createParser(DataInput) is therefore accumulated in full. No StreamReadConstraints setting mitigates this: maxDocumentLength cannot be applied to DataInput sources at all, and maxStringLength does not cover this path because the accumulation bypasses ReadConstrainedTextBuffer. The reporter measured a 20,000,109-character exception message from a 20-million-character malformed token on the DataInput path, against 367 characters for identical input on the InputStream path. Scaling the payload drives the StringBuilder, which also incurs byte-to-char expansion and internal array doubling, to many times the raw payload size and can trigger OutOfMemoryError for the whole JVM. UTF8DataInputJsonParser was introduced in 2.8.0 together with createPa

Sep 21, 2026NotebookLM MCP is an MCP server and HTTP service for interacting with Google NotebookLM and exporting generated content to local vault directories.CVE-2026-61647 · Other software · roomi-fields · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
NotebookLM MCP is an MCP server and HTTP service for interacting with Google NotebookLM and exporting generated content to local vault directories. Versions 1.6.0 through 2.0.2 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the `POST /batch-to-vault` endpoint, also exposed through the `batch_to_vault` MCP tool beginning in version 1.7.0, because attacker-controlled `vault_dir` and `slug_prefix` values can cause Markdown and JSON files to be written outside the intended vault directory to any location writable by the server process. Version 2.0.3 sanitizes `slug_prefix` and supports vault containment when `NOTEBOOKLM_VAULT_ROOT` is configured; containment is not enabled if that variable is unset. Users unable to upgrade should run the server as a dedicated unprivileged account restricted to the intended vault, keep the HTTP endpoint limited to localhost, and validate `vault_dir` values supplied by LLMs processing untrusted content.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: Take srcu when importing watchpoint data __import_wp_info() backs up the original guest memory contents of a watchpoint with read_guest_abs(), which is kvm_read_guest() and therefore resolves the memslot via __kvm_memslots(). That requires kvm->srcu (or kvm->slots_lock) to be held, otherwise a concurrent memslot update can free the memslots array under us once its SRCU grace period has elapsed. As this is not fast path, following lock ordering (mutex first, then srcu) take the big hammer and hold the srcu for the full import.

The Issabel Framework, the web framework supporting Issabel PBX software, before commit b97dbaf contains a hard-coded HS256 JWT signing key in the pbxapi index.php file that is identical across every installation, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to forge valid bearer tokens. Attackers can use the forged token to call the manager originate endpoint with the System application parameter, causing Asterisk to execute arbitrary OS commands as the Asterisk user. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2026-09-09.

Sep 15, 2026Outerbase Studio is a lightweight browser-based database GUI supporting PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite.CVE-2026-55650 · Other software · outerbase · reported by GitHubMedium 4.4
Outerbase Studio is a lightweight browser-based database GUI supporting PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite. In version 0.10.2 and earlier, TextComponent in src/components/chart/index.tsx renders unsanitized Text Widget content through dangerouslySetInnerHTML, allowing injected markup with script-capable event handlers to execute when the widget is displayed. Outerbase Cloud and its backend services were discontinued in 2025, and the current architecture uses local browser dashboard storage, so the impact is limited to local self-XSS. Authentication token theft, account takeover, and backend database access are not applicable to the current architecture. No fixed release is available as of this review.

Sep 15, 2026Converting crafted EUC_JISX0213 input to UCS-4 or the internal wide character encoding, for example with iconv, in the GNU C Library version 2.3 to 2.44 may resCVE-2026-80489 · Other software · The GNU C Library · reported by 3ff69d7a-14f2-4f67-a097-88dee7810d18Medium 5.9
Converting crafted EUC_JISX0213 input to UCS-4 or the internal wide character encoding, for example with iconv, in the GNU C Library version 2.3 to 2.44 may result in the converter making no progress, causing the calling application to hang. Some EUC_JISX0213 sequences decode to two code points. If the output buffer has room for only the first one, the converter stores the second in the conversion state and returns E2BIG, but it never clears that pending character after emitting it on the next call. The converter then keeps emitting the pending character without consuming further input, so an application that retries the conversion loops forever. The input must be attacker controlled and the application must convert it with an output buffer small enough to split the two code points. Only the EUC_JISX0213 character set is affected, which is not commonly used. The related defect in SHIFT_JISX0213 converter is tracked separately as CVE-2026-77117.

Sep 14, 2026Allure 2 is the version 2.x branch of Allure Report, a multi-language test reporting tool.CVE-2026-55847 · Other software · allure-framework · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
Allure 2 is the version 2.x branch of Allure Report, a multi-language test reporting tool. Prior to 2.39.0, the ansi.js helper at allure-generator/src/main/javascript/helpers/ansi.js passes attacker-influenced statusMessage and statusTrace values through AnsiToHtml without HTML escaping and wraps the result in Handlebars SafeString, disabling template auto-escaping in allure-generator/src/main/javascript/blocks/status-details/status-details.hbs. JunitXmlPlugin.java can populate these fields directly from crafted JUnit XML failure messages and traces, and equivalent input flows exist in the TRX, xUnit XML, xctest, and Allure1 and Allure2 plugins. When a user views the affected status details, unescaped markup executes arbitrary JavaScript in the report origin, which can expose report data and compromise sessions associated with that origin. This is an incomplete-fix case because PR 3271 escaped link helpers but did not address the ANSI helper. This issue is fixed in version 2.39.0.

Sep 14, 2026Allure 2 is the version 2.x branch of Allure Report, a multi-language test reporting tool.CVE-2026-55846 · Other software · allure-framework · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2
Allure 2 is the version 2.x branch of Allure Report, a multi-language test reporting tool. Prior to 2.39.0, the HTTP server started by allure serve and allure open uses URI.getPath() in Commands.setUpServer() in allure-commandline/src/main/java/io/qameta/allure/Commands.java and passes the percent-decoded request path to reportDirectory.resolve() without normalizing the result or confirming that it remains inside that directory. An unauthenticated client that can reach the server can submit parent-directory segments, including percent-encoded segments, and cause serveFile() to return any regular file readable by the Allure process. The server binds to localhost by default, but the --host option can expose it to other systems, and local users, adjacent containers, or browser-origin attacks may reach a local listener. This can disclose credentials, configuration, source code, build secrets, and other CI/CD data. This issue is fixed in version 2.39.0.

OpenTelemetry, also known as OTel, is a vendor-neutral open source Observability framework for instrumenting, generating, collecting, and exporting telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. Prior to 0.154.0, the Sentry exporter reads the remote OTLP sender-controlled service.name resource attribute in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_exporter.go through extractProjectSlug and getOrCreateProjectEndpoint, passes the raw project slug to GetOTLPEndpoints and GetProjectKeys in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_client.go, and interpolates it into a Sentry API URL without applying projectSlugRegexp through validateRoutingConfig at runtime in exporter/sentryexporter/config.go. Special characters can turn the expected path suffix into query data in all deployments or introduce slash and dot segments that traverse paths when the Sentry deployment normalizes them, while the Collector attaches its operator-configured bearer token to the request. A successful request can reach token-authorized administrative, organization, member, or key endpoints within the configured Sentry organization, and an attacker-controlled project slug can redirect subsequently exported telemetry. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Fix UAF in selftest IOPF reporting IOMMUFD selftest TRIGGER_IOPF borrows an attach handle from group->pasid_array without synchronizing against PASID detach, then a concurrent iommu_report_device_fault() can dereference that borrowed handle's domain pointer after the detach erases the handle and frees the backing struct iommufd_attach_handle. TRIGGER_IOPF then dereferences the freed handle, causing a UAF. Fix by adding a iopf_rwsem in mock_dev to follow the expected design of a real driver. Hold its read side across the whole iommu_report_device_fault() call, and its write side around every path that attaches, detaches, or replaces a device domain. This can block new reports and drains in-flight reports before an old attach handle or the IOPF fault parameter can be removed. Also take the write side while registering a mock device, since it can invoke the mock driver's default-domain attach callback.

Sep 10, 2026A SQL injection vulnerability exists in the JasperReports-based reporting feature of multiple versions of OpenNMS Meridian and Horizon.CVE-2026-89089 · Other software · The OpenNMS Group · reported by security@opennms.comMedium 6.5
A SQL injection vulnerability exists in the JasperReports-based reporting feature of multiple versions of OpenNMS Meridian and Horizon. A low-privileged authenticated user (ROLE_USER) can run the shipped, default-enabled online reports "Maintenance contracts expired" (AssetManagementMaintExpired) and "Maintenance contracts strategy" (AssetManagementMaintStrategy) via the reporting REST API (POST /rest/reports/{id}) and supply a DATE_FORMAT parameter that the report templates substitute literally, un-escaped, into their SQL queries. This lets an attacker execute arbitrary SQL against the OpenNMS database and read arbitrary data, including database-stored secrets such as provisioning and notification credentials and SNMP community strings. The solution is to upgrade to Meridian 2024.3.13, 2025.0.10 and Horizon 36.0.4 or newer. Meridian and Horizon installation instructions state that they are intended for installation within an organization's private networks and should not be directly accessible from the Internet.

Sep 9, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kcov: fix data corruption and race conditions on PREEMPT_RT syzbot is reporting KCOV stateCVE-2026-80916 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kcov: fix data corruption and race conditions on PREEMPT_RT syzbot is reporting KCOV state corruption on PREEMPT_RT kernels, for the temporary storage used for saving/restoring remote KCOV state is currently allocated as the per-CPU area. On PREEMPT_RT kernels, softirq handlers run as preemptible task threads (e.g., ksoftirqd). If a softirq context preempts a task running a remote KCOV session, it safely saves the task's state into the per-CPU area. However, if that softirq thread is subsequently preempted by a higher- priority softirq thread on the same CPU, the second softirq will overwrite the same per-CPU area, permanently destroying the original task's KCOV state. Fix this data corruption by moving the temporary storage from the per-CPU area to the per-thread area. Since each softirq thread now owns its own task context, nested softirq preemption no longer causes data overwrites. Note that while the temporary storage is now on a per-thread basis, the per-CPU kcov_percpu_data.lock must be retained, for we need to ensure that kcov_remote_start() and kcov_remote_stop() operate atomically without racing again
