Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memstick: ms_block: reject a card that reports too many blocks msb_ftl_initialize() computCVE-2026-68478 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memstick: ms_block: reject a card that reports too many blocks msb_ftl_initialize() computes the zone count from the card block count with no bound: msb->zone_count = msb->block_count / MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE; ... for (i = 0; i < msb->zone_count; i++) msb->free_block_count[i] = MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE; msb->block_count is a card value. msb_read_boot_blocks() reads number_of_blocks from the card boot page and byte swaps it. free_block_count is a fixed int[MS_MAX_ZONES]. MS_MAX_ZONES is 16, so the valid indices are 0 to 15. The init loop above indexes it by zone_count. msb_mark_block_used() and msb_mark_block_unused() index it by pba / MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE, for pba up to block_count - 1. A card may report up to 65535 blocks. A block_count above 8192 (MS_MAX_ZONES * MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE) lets the pba index reach 16. That writes past free_block_count[] and corrupts struct msb_data. A larger count runs the init loop past the end too. A real Memory Stick has at most 16 zones. So it has at most 8192 blocks. msb_ftl_initialize() now rejects a card that reports more than MS_MAX_ZONES * MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE blocks.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: fix more places with wrong ipv6 transport offsets Sashiko reports for more incorrectCVE-2026-68477 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: fix more places with wrong ipv6 transport offsets Sashiko reports for more incorrect IPv6 transport offsets. The app code for TCP was assuming IPv4 network header even after the ipvsh argument was provided. This can cause problems with apps over IPv6. As for the only official app in the kernel tree (FTP) this problem is harmless because we use Netfilter to mangle the FTP ports and we do not adjust the TCP seq numbers. Also, provide correct offset of the ICMPV6 header in ip_vs_out_icmp_v6() for correct checksum checks when the IPv6 packet has extension headers.

Aug 14, 2026The getgrav/grav-plugin-api plugin before 1.0.13 contains an API-key scope cap bypass in the POST /reports/twig-content/allowlist endpoint (ReportsController).CVE-2026-72825 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2
The getgrav/grav-plugin-api plugin before 1.0.13 contains an API-key scope cap bypass in the POST /reports/twig-content/allowlist endpoint (ReportsController). The endpoint enforces requirePermission('api.config.write') followed by a bare isSuperAdmin() check instead of requireSuper(). Because isSuperAdmin() reads access.api.super directly and never consults api_key_scopes, a least-privilege API key scoped to api.config.write minted on a super account passes the gate, allowing an attacker to append attacker-chosen tokens to the security.twig_sandbox allowlist (persisted to user/config/security.yaml). Widening the allowlist turns any subsequent Twig-in-content render into an SSTI/RCE sink.

In Apache CXF's DefaultEncryptingOAuthDataProvider, revoked access tokens still decrypt successfully, and TokenIntrospectionService reports active:true. The same applies to refresh tokens. This violates the RFC stipulations that 'The authorization server MUST invalidate the token.' and 'introspection of a revoked token MUST return {"active":false}'. Koha's guided report builder (reports/guided_reports.pl) reads the CGI parameter and, for each value, a dynamically-named parameter, and concatenates both directly into an SQL ORDER BY clause with no allowlist or validation. Since ORDER BY columns cannot be bound via prepared-statement placeholders, this requires an explicit allowlist, which does not exist.

If cpu_possible_mask is sparse (for example, CPU 0 and CPU 2 are possible, but CPU 1 is not), the allocation loop skips CPU 1. If vmalloc_node() fails at CPU 2, the cleanup loop will blindly decrement and call vfree() on newinfo->chainstack[1]. Not a real-world bug, such allocation isn't expected to fail in the first place.

Jul 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (lm90) Add lock protection to lm90_alert Sashiko reports: lm90_alert() executes inCVE-2026-64213 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (lm90) Add lock protection to lm90_alert Sashiko reports: lm90_alert() executes in the smbus alert context and calls lm90_update_confreg() to disable the hardware alert line, without acquiring hwmon_lock. Concurrently, sysfs write operations (such as lm90_write_convrate) hold the hwmon_lock, temporarily modify data->config, and then restore it. If an alert interrupt occurs concurrently with a sysfs write, the sysfs path will overwrite the alert handler's modifications to data->config and the hardware register. This unintentionally re-enables the hardware alert line while the alarm is still active, causing an interrupt storm. Add the missing lock to lm90_alert() to solve the problem.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (lm90) Stop work before releasing hwmon device Sashiko reports: In lm90_probe(), tCVE-2026-64038 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 4.7
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (lm90) Stop work before releasing hwmon device Sashiko reports: In lm90_probe(), the devm action to cancel the alert_work and report_work (lm90_restore_conf) is registered in lm90_init_client() before devm_hwmon_device_register_with_info() is called. Because devm executes cleanup actions in reverse order during module unbind or probe failure, the hwmon device is unregistered and freed first. If lm90_alert_work() or lm90_report_alarms() runs in the window between the hwmon device being freed and the delayed works being cancelled, lm90_update_alarms() will dereference the freed data->hwmon_dev here. Fix the problem by canceling the workers separately after registering the hwmon device and before registering the interrupt handler. This ensures that the workers are canceled after interrupts are disabled and before the hwmon device is released. Add "shutdown" flag to indicate that device shutdown is in progress to prevent workers from being re-armed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: security/keys: fix missed RCU read section on lookup Nicholas Carlini reports that the keyring code calls assoc_array_find() in find_key_to_update() without holding the RCU read lock, while the assoc_array_gc() code really is designed around removing the node from the tree and then freeing it after an RCU grace-period. The regular key handling doesn't see this because holding the keyring semaphore hides any lifetime issues, but the persistent key handling uses a different model. Instead of extending the keyring locking, just do the simple RCU locking that the assoc_array was designed for.

Jun 22, 2026MISP Core contained broken access-control checks in the bulk deletion flows for Event Reports and Sharing Groups.CVE-2026-56423 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Critical 9.4
MISP Core contained broken access-control checks in the bulk deletion flows for Event Reports and Sharing Groups. The affected deleteSelection handlers authorized deletion using broad role-level permissions instead of validating authorization for each selected object. For Event Reports, EventReportsController::deleteSelection relied on the global perm_add capability rather than a per-report ownership/authorization check. As a result, a contributor-level user could submit report IDs or UUIDs for reports belonging to other organisations and hard-delete them instance-wide. The fix changed the callback to call EventReport::fetchIfAuthorized($user, $itemId, 'delete') for each selected report before deletion. For Sharing Groups, SharingGroupsController::deleteSelection relied on the global perm_sharing_group capability rather than verifying ownership of each selected sharing group. This allowed a sharing-group-capable user to hard-delete sharing groups owned by other organisations, bypassing the per-object ownership gate used by the single-object delete action. The fix changed the callback to call SharingGroup::checkIfOwner($user, $itemId) for each selected sharing group. An aut

'ts->ts_final_idx' can be 3 on 5212, so: info->status.rates[ts->ts_final_idx + 1].idx = -1; with the array defined as: struct ieee80211_tx_rate rates[IEEE80211_TX_MAX_RATES]; while the size is: #define IEEE80211_TX_MAX_RATES 4 is indeed bogus. Set this 'idx = -1' sentinel only if the array index is less than the array size. As mac80211 will not look at rates beyond the size (IEEE80211_TX_MAX_RATES). Note: The effect of the OOB write is negligible. It just overwrites the next member of info->status, i.e. ack_signal.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: playstation: Clamp num_touch_reports A device would never lie about the number of touch reports would it? If it does the loop in dualshock4_parse_report will read off the end of the touch_reports array, up to about 2 KiB for the maximum number of 256 loop iteraions. The data that is read is emitted via evdev if the DS4_TOUCH_POINT_INACTIVE bit happens to be set. Protect against this by clamping the num_touch_reports value provided by the device to the maximum size of the touch_reports array.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: mpt3sas: Limit NVMe request size to 2 MiB The HBA firmware reports NVMe MDTS values based on the underlying drive capability. However, because the driver allocates a fixed 4K buffer for the PRP list, accommodating at most 512 entries, the driver supports a maximum I/O transfer size of 2 MiB. Limit max_hw_sectors to the smaller of the reported MDTS and the 2 MiB driver limit to prevent issuing oversized I/O that may lead to a kernel oops.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_queue: do shared-unconfirmed check before segmentation Ulrich reports a regression with nfqueue: If an application did not set the 'F_GSO' capability flag and a gso packet with an unconfirmed nf_conn entry is received all packets are now dropped instead of queued, because the check happens after skb_gso_segment(). In that case, we did have exclusive ownership of the skb and its associated conntrack entry. The elevated use count is due to skb_clone happening via skb_gso_segment(). Move the check so that its peformed vs. the aggregated packet. Then, annotate the individual segments except the first one so we can do a 2nd check at reinject time. For the normal case, where userspace does in-order reinjects, this avoids packet drops: first reinjected segment continues traversal and confirms entry, remaining segments observe the confirmed entry. While at it, simplify nf_ct_drop_unconfirmed(): We only care about unconfirmed entries with a refcnt > 1, there is no need to special-case dying entries. This only happens with UDP. With TCP, the only unconfirmed packet will be the TCP SYN, those a
