  • Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: enforce cursor size limits for MOB cursors vmw_cursor_plane_atomic_check() bouCVE-2026-80701 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: enforce cursor size limits for MOB cursors vmw_cursor_plane_atomic_check() bounds cursor width and height only on the legacy update path; the SVGA_CAP2_CURSOR_MOB path -- the default on modern hosts -- accepts any size. When the requested size exceeds SVGA_REG_CURSOR_MAX_DIMENSION or SVGA_REG_MOB_MAX_SIZE, vmw_cursor_mob_get() returns -EINVAL and leaves vps->cursor.mob NULL. Its return value is then discarded in vmw_cursor_plane_prepare_fb(), so the subsequent vmw_cursor_update_mob() calls vmw_bo_map_and_cache(NULL) and oopses inside vmw_bo_map_and_cache_size() on the tbo.base.size load. Reachable from any DRM master via DRM_IOCTL_MODE_CURSOR2 with a sufficiently large width or height (e.g. cursor_max_dim + 1). Reject oversized cursors in atomic_check for both MOB-backed cursor update types. The MOB byte-size limit only applies to the SVGA_CAP2_CURSOR_MOB path (vmw_cursor_mob_size() returns 0 for GB_ONLY); compute the required MOB size in 64-bit to avoid overflow when very large dimensions are requested. In prepare_fb only call vmw_cursor_mob_get()/_map() for VMW_CURSOR_UPDATE_MOB -- the GB_ONLY

  • Aug 26, 2026Wings is the server control plane for the Pterodactyl game-server management panel.CVE-2026-61617 · Other software · pterodactyl · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

Wings is the server control plane for the Pterodactyl game-server management panel. In versions up to and including 1.13.2, the SFTP write path does not enforce a server's disk quota during a transfer, allowing a tenant with SFTP write access to a single server to exhaust the host node's physical disk and take down every server on it. Wings checks available space only once, as a boolean, when the write handle is opened, using a stale cached usage value and without knowing the size of the incoming data, and it then returns a raw, unaccounted file handle that is never re-checked as the transfer proceeds. A single upload can therefore be written without bound, far beyond the configured disk limit, until the node's disk is full, and because a server stopped for exceeding its limit is not treated as suspended, SFTP writes are still accepted even after the quota is already exceeded. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.3.

  • Aug 17, 2026On a Kong Mesh global control plane, resources received over the zone-to-global KDS sync are attributed using the in-band, sender-controlled ControlPlane.IdentiCVE-2026-18674 · Other software · Kong Inc. · reported by 02762ae7-200e-4b20-9b2b-a77d5b8fc4cbHigh 7

On a Kong Mesh global control plane, resources received over the zone-to-global KDS sync are attributed using the in-band, sender-controlled ControlPlane.Identifier rather than the authenticated zone identity derived from the connection. Authenticated zones can have the global control plane store and re-distribute those resources as belonging to another zone. The result is a cross-zone isolation bypass: the holder of a single enrolled zone's credential can inject, attribute, and overwrite resources in another zone's namespace mesh-wide. The root cause lives in Kuma's open-source KDS sync code, which Kong Mesh's control plane is built on.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: cttimeout: detach dataplane timeout policy and repurpose refcount Add a refcount for struct nf_ct_timeout which is used by ct extension to set the custom ct timeout policy, this tells us that the ct timeout is being used by a conntrack entry. When the last conntrack entry drops the refcount on the ct timeout, the ct timeout is released. Remove the refcount for control plane which controls if the ruleset refers to the timeout policy. After this update, it is possible to remove the ct timeout policy from nfnetlink_cttimeout immediately. This is for simplicity not to handle two refcounts on a single object. Remove nf_queue_nf_hook_drop(): a packet sitting in nfqueue will just hold a reference to the nf_ct_timeout object until packet is reinjected, since this is part of the ct extension, this will be released by the time the conntrack is freed. nf_ct_untimeout() is still called to clean up in a best effort basis: the ct timeout on existing entries gets removed when the ct timeout goes away, but as long as the iptables ruleset still refers to the ct timeout through a template, new conntracks may keep att

The user self-signup flow in multiple WSO2 products fails to adequately validate user-supplied input. This weakness allows arbitrary unvalidated data to be included within user claims, which are then used by downstream processes. Allowing unvalidated input into user claims can lead to various security risks. Malicious or malformed data injected during signup could be processed by other parts of the application, potentially enabling attacks such as content manipulation, redirection, user interface inconsistencies, unauthorized actions, and data exposure. The actual impact depends on how the compromised data is consumed and the privileges associated with the affected users.

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh virtual private network. Prior to version 0.3.2, internal/api/audit.go:12 — handleGetAuditLog does no admin check. The route is bearer-auth gated only; any operator API key returns the full audit log via store.ListAuditEntries (up to limit=1000). This includes cross-tenant actor names, host/CA/operator IDs, action timestamps, and masked-IP entries from rate-limit refusals — enough surface for a tenant to enumerate the server's activity, infer staffing patterns, or identify high-value targets. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.2.

Prior to version 0.3.3, every /ui/* POST / PUT / PATCH / DELETE route processes the request as soon as the session cookie validates. SameSite=Lax on the session cookie prevents most cross-site form submits but does not protect: top-level form-submit navigations from third-party pages (some browsers still send Lax cookies on top-level POSTs); same-registrable-domain attackers (sibling-subdomain XSS, subdomain takeover); the GET /ui/logout route, which a third-party <img src=".../ui/logout"> can force-trigger. nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh virtual private network. Prior to version 0.3.7, internal/pki/resolver.go:36-64 constructs a CAManager with the plaintext ed25519.PrivateKey after unwrapping via the master key; internal/pki/ca.go:13-16 stores it. Callers at internal/api/enroll.go:116, internal/api/updates.go:297, and internal/api/mobile_bundle.go:40 use the manager for one Sign() and drop the reference on function return — but the underlying slice contents are not wiped before release. The keystore package's contract (internal/keystore/keystore.go doc: "Callers MUST zeroise the returned plaintext DEK as soon as it is no longer needed") is not met by the CAManager consumer. Decrypted CA private keys persist in process heap until Go's GC scavenges the underlying slice — minutes to hours under load, indefinitely on idle servers. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.7.

  • Jul 23, 2026nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh virtual private network.CVE-2026-47724 · Other software · juev · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh virtual private network. Prior to version 0.3.4, the `/api/v1/*` route surface trusts the bearer token alone for authorisation on most endpoints. The codebase itself admits this at `internal/api/hosts.go:384`: "API trusts the bearer token for authorisation; per-CA ownership is enforced only in the Web layer." The Web UI gates state-changing routes through `loadAccessibleCA` (`internal/web/cas.go`); CA-management endpoints in `internal/api/cas.go` ALSO have proper `canAccessCA` gates. The gap is on the host, network, firewall, mobile-bundle, and most operator endpoints. Combined with the per-operator CA model from ADR 0002, this gives any non-admin operator API key broad cross-tenant access — instant privilege escalation in the worst case. Version 0.3.4 fixes the issue.

Prior to version 0.3.2, `internal/configgen/generator.go:86,108,119` interpolates the operator-supplied `ListenHost` and `TunDevice` fields raw into a `text/template` that produces the agent's `config.yml`. `internal/web/advanced.go:20-35` accepts both with only `strings.TrimSpace` — no character or shape validation. Plane contains a multi‑tenant authorization flaw in its asset‑management API that allows authenticated users from one workspace to access, delete, or duplicate assets belonging to another workspace by providing only the victim workspace slug and asset ID. The affected endpoints return presigned file URLs and enable destructive or duplicative actions without verifying that the requester is a member of the targeted workspace. This enables cross‑tenant data exposure, data deletion, and persistent exfiltration of files into an attacker‑controlled workspace.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Wrap DCN32 phantom-plane allocation in DC_RUN_WITH_PREEMPTION_ENABLED [Why] dcn32_validate_bandwidth() wraps dcn32_internal_validate_bw() with DC_FP_START()/DC_FP_END(). In x86 non-RT, DC_FP_START takes fpregs_lock(), which disables local softirqs. The DML1 path through dcn32_enable_phantom_plane() calls kvzalloc() to allocate ~335 KiB for dc_plane_state. This triggers the vmalloc path, which calls BUG_ON(in_interrupt()) because it's invoked within the FPU-enabled (softirq disabled) region, leading to a kernel crash. [How] Wrap the dc_state_create_phantom_plane() call with the DC_RUN_WITH_PREEMPTION_ENABLED() macro to allow preemption during this memory allocation.
