Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix this_rq() assumptions in dispatch kfuncs Under core scheduling, dispatch ruCVE-2026-89518 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix this_rq() assumptions in dispatch kfuncs Under core scheduling, dispatch runs from within the core-wide pick and can target a sibling rq, so ops.dispatch() may execute on a CPU different from the dispatched rq's. Several kfunc paths assumed the two always coincide: - scx_dsq_move() decided whether an rq lock is held by testing this_rq()'s rq flags and lock-danced accordingly. A dispatch for a sibling took the unlocked-context branch and acquired the source rq lock on top of the already held dispatched rq lock which could deadlock. - scx_bpf_sub_dispatch() dispatched this_rq() with its stashed sub_dispatch_prev, which is NULL when dispatching for a sibling. - finish_dispatch(), scx_bpf_dsq_reenq() and scx_bpf_dsq_nr_queued() resolved SCX_DSQ_LOCAL to this CPU's local DSQ rather than the dispatched rq's. The latter two are callable from other rq-locked operations too, where SCX_DSQ_LOCAL now likewise resolves to the op's rq. This changes behavior also without core scheduling, e.g. for ops.enqueue() running a remote wakeup on the waking CPU, and is intended: which CPU happens to

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/uverbs: Guard legacy bundles without method_elm The legacy write() path dispatches thCVE-2026-89505 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/uverbs: Guard legacy bundles without method_elm The legacy write() path dispatches through a uverbs_api_write_method, but the uverbs_attr_bundle passed to provider code does not have an ioctl method element. If malformed provider input causes the common uverbs validation code to emit an error message, uverbs_get_handler_fn() dereferences the uninitialized method_elm pointer. Initialize method_elm explicitly for legacy bundles and make uverbs_get_handler_fn() return NULL when no ioctl method is present. The legacy dispatcher continues to use its local write method, while the ioctl path continues to use the registered ioctl handler.

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: bound namelen in dlm_migrate_request_handler Patch series "ocfs2/dlm: bound peer-coCVE-2026-89495 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: bound namelen in dlm_migrate_request_handler Patch series "ocfs2/dlm: bound peer-controlled lengths in the o2dlm". The o2dlm receive handlers trust u8 length and count fields from the wire without bounding them, so a node in a DLM domain can corrupt or panic any other node with a malformed message. Three defects: - dlm_migrate_request_handler() passes migrate->namelen unchecked to dlm_init_mle(), which memcpy()s it into the 32-byte mname[] of an o2dlm_mle slab object: a heap out-of-bounds write of up to ~215 attacker-controlled bytes. - dlm_mig_lockres_handler() passes mres->lockname_len unchecked to dlm_init_lockres(), which memcpy()s it into the 32-byte o2dlm_lockname slab object: a heap out-of-bounds write of up to ~223 bytes. - the same handler trusts mres->num_locks without checking that the message is large enough to hold that many entries, so dlm_process_recovery_data() walks mres->ml[] past the kmalloc(data_len) copy and trips a BUG_ON (an out-of-bounds read ending in a panic). The other o2dlm receive handlers already reject an oversized name; the migrati

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: cluster: don't sleep while holding o2hb_live_lock in o2hb_region_pin() Patch seriesCVE-2026-89491 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: cluster: don't sleep while holding o2hb_live_lock in o2hb_region_pin() Patch series "ocfs2: cluster: o2hb_region_pin() fixes", v2. This series fixes three related issues in o2hb_region_pin(), all are from the original implementation in commit: 58a3158a5d17 ("ocfs2/cluster: Pin/unpin o2hb regions"): 1) It is called with o2hb_live_lock (a spinlock) held, but the underlying configfs_depend_item() sleeps (takes inode rwsem and pins the filesystem). This triggers BUG under CONFIG_DEBUG_ATOMIC_SLEEP. 2) When called from the configfs drop_item callback, it creates a lock order inversion: parent inode_lock -> configfs root inode_lock, which can deadlock against subsystem unregistration paths taking root -> parent. 3) If pinning fails partway through o2hb_region_inc_user(), the o2hb_dependent_users counter is leaked and partially-pinned regions are never released, leaving heartbeat regions unprotected on subsequent mounts. Patch 1 reworks o2hb_region_pin() to drop o2hb_live_lock across each sleeping configfs_depend_item() call, using a config_item reference to keep the region alive

Sep 10, 2026Capgo (Cap-go/capgo.app) contains an authentication bypass affecting all versions (no patched version available at time of publication).CVE-2026-88861 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Capgo (Cap-go/capgo.app) contains an authentication bypass affecting all versions (no patched version available at time of publication). The Edge authorization path allows a password-only Supabase aal1 session to exercise privileged RBAC permissions even when the account has a verified MFA factor that has not been used for the session: the Edge JWT middleware (foundJWT() in supabase/functions/_backend/utils/hono_middleware.ts) accepts the JWT without validating its assurance level, and the direct RBAC path (checkPermission()/checkPermissionPg() in supabase/functions/_backend/utils/rbac.ts calling public.rbac_check_permission_direct()) authorizes by user ID without passing or checking the session aal, unlike the public.verify_mfa() control which correctly requires aal2. An attacker who knows only the victim's password can therefore authenticate, mint a persistent app-scoped app_admin API key that remains valid after the aal1 session is logged out, and perform privileged operations such as modifying production OTA channel configurations (validated by changing a public production channel from bundle 1.0.0 to 1.0.1), defeating the protection provided by MFA.

Sep 9, 2026The Bluetooth Classic (BR/EDR) L2CAP receive handler bt_l2cap_br_recv() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/l2cap_br.c dispatched inbound data PDUs based only on tCVE-2026-15460 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.4
The Bluetooth Classic (BR/EDR) L2CAP receive handler bt_l2cap_br_recv() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/l2cap_br.c dispatched inbound data PDUs based only on the destination channel ID, without checking that the target channel had reached the BT_L2CAP_CONNECTED state. A dynamic channel is assigned its RX CID and added to the connection's channel list while still in BT_L2CAP_CONNECTING (and later BT_L2CAP_CONFIG) — before configuration completes and, for PSMs that require security, before the peer is authenticated (l2cap_br_conn_req()). Because the channel is already findable by bt_l2cap_br_lookup_rx_cid() during this window, a remote peer within radio range can send a data PDU addressed to that CID and have it processed on a not-yet-established channel. The dispatch keys off channel fields (BR_CHAN(chan)->rx.mode, rx.mps) that are only initialized during configuration by l2cap_br_conf(); since channel objects are pooled and bt_l2cap_br_chan_del() does not reset rx.mode or the reassembly buffer _sdu, a reused channel can carry stale state into the CONNECTING window and route the frame into the retransmission/flow-control path (bt_l2cap_br_ret_fc_recv()) with stale parameters and a

Sep 8, 2026WWBN AVideo through commit e01e41ecc (no patched version available) exposes get_api_preauthorize in plugin/API/API.php as a second, undocumented login path.CVE-2026-86729 · Other software · WWBN · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.1
WWBN AVideo through commit e01e41ecc (no patched version available) exposes get_api_preauthorize in plugin/API/API.php as a second, undocumented login path. Unlike get_api_signIn, which enforces a rate limit of 10 attempts per 5 minutes via checkRateLimit(), get_api_preauthorize performs the same credential check with no throttling for any client, allowing unlimited remote password guessing against arbitrary accounts, including admin. The endpoint also acts as a credential oracle: it returns the message "Invalid credentials" for both correct and incorrect passwords, while the users_id field in the response body discloses the authenticated identity (users_id:1 on success, users_id:0 on failure), and a correct password establishes a session cookie that remains usable for authenticated API requests. Together these issues permit unauthenticated brute-force account takeover.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_expect: use conntrack GC to reap expectations This patch replaces the timer API by GC worker approach for expectations, as it already happened in many other subsystems. Use the existing conntrack GC worker to iterate over the local list of expectations in the master conntrack to reap expired expectations. Check IPS_HELPER_BIT to run GC for expectations, set it on for nft_ct expectation which nevers sets it. Hold the expectation spinlock while iterating over the master conntrack expectation list to synchronize with nf_ct_remove_expectations(). This also performs runtime packet path garbage collection through the expectation insertion and lookup functions while walking over one of the chains of the global expectation hashtables. Unconfirmed conntrack entries are skipped since ct->ext can be reallocated and dying are skipped since those will be gone soon. Set on IPS_HELPER_BIT if the helper ct extension is added, then the new GC worker does not need to bump the ct refcount to check if the ct->ext helper is available. This removes the extra bump on the refcount for expectation timers, this a

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: char: tlclk: fix use-after-free in tlclk_cleanup() This patch improves the module cleanup process in the tlclk driver to prevent potential use-after-free and race conditions. Currently, the file_operations structure does not specify the .owner field, which could allow the module to be unloaded while user-space processes are still interacting with the device. Additionally, the tlclk_cleanup() function frees the alarm_events memory before ensuring that blocked processes in the waitqueue are fully awakened and that the switchover_timer has completed. To address these cases, this patch: - Sets '.owner = THIS_MODULE' in tlclk_fops to safely defer module unloading while the device is in use. - Updates tlclk_cleanup() to explicitly wake up all blocked readers (wake_up_all), properly release hardware I/O regions, and safely delete the timer (timer_delete_sync) prior to freeing memory.

Aug 27, 2026Baserow dispatches an Application Builder data source without acting on the result of its permission check.CVE-2026-81335 · Other software · Baserow · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Baserow dispatches an Application Builder data source without acting on the result of its permission check. The dispatch and record-name views in backend/src/baserow/contrib/builder/api/data_sources/views.py are declared with a permission class that admits any caller, so a request carrying no credential reaches the handler. DataSourceService.dispatch_data_sources in backend/src/baserow/contrib/builder/data_sources/service.py then calls check_multiple_permissions without asking it to raise, and neither stores nor examines the mapping of denials it returns, so a denied check leaves execution to continue and the data source is dispatched whatever the caller's identity. The dispatch runs with the integration's own credentials, so an unauthenticated request naming a data source receives the rows and fields that source reads. Identifiers are small integers and can be enumerated. Version 2.3.1 passes raise_exception to the same call.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple FENCE chunks in one submit amdgpu_cs_pass1() dispatches on chunk_id once per chunk without rejecting repeated ids. p->uf_bo is a single-slot field, so a submission carrying two AMDGPU_CHUNK_ID_FENCE chunks runs amdgpu_cs_p1_user_fence() twice, and the second run overwrites p->uf_bo with a freshly referenced BO without dropping the reference taken by the first. amdgpu_cs_parser_fini() only unrefs the final p->uf_bo, so every FENCE chunk but the last leaks a BO reference. The leaked BO outlives handle close and process exit. Reject duplicate FENCE chunks the same way commit fec5f8e8c6bc ("drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple BO_HANDLES chunks in one submit") did for p->bo_list. The only precondition uploadAndPublish enforces is that the named server is registered, and any registered server in the installation satisfies it. downloadPackage and deletePatchPackage select a package by an unscoped sequential primary key covering every application's uploads, and setPatchPackageDefault changes which package a given application deploys by default. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/vmalloc: acquire init_mm lock on huge vmap to avoid ptdump UAF Patch series "mm: fix UAF caused by race between ptdump and vmap pgtable freeing", v6. Kernel page table walkers fall into two broad categories - those ranges where no exclusion is required via walk_kernel_page_table_range_lockless() and those where exclusion is required via walk_kernel_page_table_range() or walk_page_range_debug(). The former category is used only by arm64 arch code operating on ranges it both wholly owns and does not concurrently write. The latter category consists of kernel page table walkers operating on ranges that are wholly owned (but which need exclusion against concurrent writers). The lock used for exclusion is the mmap lock, and for kernel ranges this is the mmap lock on init_mm. ptdump is a special case being both the only user of walk_page_range_debug(), and the only case in which it walks ranges it does not own. This presents a problem, as page tables may be freed under ptdump. And indeed there is a use-after-free bug in the kernel as a result, which this series addresses. vmap promotes page tables to huge lea

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: samples/damon/mtier: error out for zero quota goal target values Patch series "mm/damon: avoid division by zero from damos_quota_score()". DAMON_SAMPLE_MTIER and DAMON_LRU_SORT allow the user to trigger division by zero in damos_quota_score(). Avoid it by adding parameters validation checks. This patch (of 2): damos_quota_score() can trigger division by zero if the target_value is zero. DAMON_SAMPLE_MTIER lets users set the target_value via node0_mem_{used,free}_bp parameters. It doesn't guard zero value case, though. As a result, users can trigger division by zero. Fix the issue by returning an error when the user tries to start DAMON with zero node0_mem_{used,free}_bp parameter values. DAMON_SAMPLE_MTIER is just a sample module, but the consequence is quite bad. Also the zero node0_mem_free_bp parameter might look like a reasonable setup to some users. Hence, the issue might really happen in the real world. One reliable way to reproduce the issue is like below: # cd /sys/module/damon_sample_mtier/parameters # echo 4096 > node0_start_addr # echo 8192 > node0_end_addr # echo 8192 > n

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/huge_memory: fix huge_zero_pfn race Patch series "mm/huge_memory: fix huge_zero_pfn race", v2. There is a subtle race in the reference-counted huge_zero_folio implementation. The fast path atomic logic fails to account for the fact that the shrinker (which drops the final huge_zero_refcount pin) can overwrite huge_zero_pfn with the ~0UL sentinel value in shrink_huge_zero_folio_scan() after a racing get_huge_zero_folio() installed a valid value there. This results in huge_zero_folio being correctly set but huge_zero_pfn being set incorrectly and thus is_huge_zero_pfn() and consequently is_huge_zero_pmd() will misidentify the huge zero folio as being an ordinary THP folio. This can result in the huge zero folio being split and otherwise treated incorrectly. The solution to this is very subtle as there is an atomic fast path, and thus ordering in weakly ordered architectures has to be treated very carefully. The first commit fixes the issue by introducing a spinlock around huge_zero_[pfn, folio, refcount] write, with careful consideration paid to load/store ordering in the fast path. It is placed first and

Leantime JSON-RPC API through version 3.9.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the JSON-RPC dispatcher in app/Domain/Api/Controllers/Jsonrpc.php. The dispatcher does not enforce authorization before invoking service-layer methods, allowing an authenticated user to call methods or act on resources outside their intended permissions. For example, the editOwn method accepts a user-supplied user ID without verifying that it belongs to the caller, allowing an attacker to modify another user's account and set a new password, resulting in account takeover. This vulnerability is distinct from CVE-2026-59712 and CVE-2026-15509 because the root cause is the lack of centralized authorization enforcement in the JSON-RPC dispatcher rather than the behavior of an individual exposed method.

@neo4j/graphql from 5.2.0 until the patched versions fails to enforce field-level @authentication rules on root custom-resolver fields when a type-level @authentication rule is also present on the same operation type. When both a type-level @authentication (on Query/Mutation) and a field-level @authentication (on a root custom-resolver field within that type) are declared, only the type-level rule is evaluated and the field-level rule is silently discarded. As a result a stricter per-field requirement — such as an admin-role JWT claim (jwt: { roles_INCLUDES: "admin" }) — is never checked, and any client that satisfies the coarser type-level requirement can invoke the more-restricted field. No token forgery is involved: a legitimately issued, correctly signed non-admin token (e.g. roles: ["user"]) is sufficient.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: fix buffer leak in xsk_drop_skb() for AF_XDP multi-buffer Tx This patch is inspired by the check[1] from sashiko. It says when overflow happens, the address of cq to be published is invalid. Actually the severer thing is the whole process of publishing the address of cq in this particular case is not right: it should truely publish the address and advance the cached_prod in cq as long as it reads descriptors from txq. The following is the full analysis. xsk_drop_skb() is called in three places, which all discard a partially built multi-buffer skb: 1) xsk_build_skb() -EOVERFLOW error path: packet exceeds MAX_SKB_FRAGS 2) __xsk_generic_xmit() post-loop cleanup: an invalid descriptor in the TX ring prevents the partial packet from completing 3) xsk_release(): socket close while xs->skb holds an incomplete packet In all three cases, the TX descriptors for the already-processed frags have been consumed from the TX ring (xskq_cons_release), and CQ slots have been reserved. However, xsk_drop_skb() calls xsk_consume_skb() which cancels the CQ reservations via xsk_cq_cancel_locked(). Since the buffer addresses n
