Aug 19, 2026LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript.CVE-2026-69222 · Other software · harttle · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.27.2, the join filter in src/filters/array.ts computes complexity from array.length and separator length instead of the total string length produced by array.join(sep). The concat filter can cheaply double arrays of references, after which join materializes the referenced content while charging only for element count, allowing a template to exceed a configured memoryLimit by a large factor. The sibling array_to_sentence_string filter in src/filters/string.ts has the same accounting defect, and a crafted template can allocate toward V8's string or process memory limit and crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 10.27.2.

LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. From 10.26.0 until 10.27.1, the strip_html filter in src/filters/html.ts can enter an infinite loop when an input string contains <, includes at least one preceding character, and has no later >. In strip_html, the search for the next opener advances lt while the loop index remains unchanged when the closer search returns -1, and the equality-only stall guard does not exit because the loop index is less than lt. Reprocessing the same state indefinitely blocks template rendering and can cause denial of service with an input as short as a<. This issue is fixed in version 10.27.1.

Pages belonging to largepage shared memory objects were not explicitly wired. When sendfile(2) transmitted such an object with the SF_NOCACHE flag, it freed the underlying pages after transmission even though existing mappings still referred to them. An unprivileged local user can abuse the bug to access freed kernel memory. This can be exploited to escalate privileges.

When msync(MS_INVALIDATE) is called on a mapping of an unmanaged device object, the physical pages in the mapping range are marked invalid but remain in the pager's page list. A subsequent page fault will cause the fault handler to re-insert the page into the object's list. This corrupts the list, and on object destruction the page is freed twice. An unprivileged local user with access to a device that provides memory-mapped I/O can trigger a use-after-free in the kernel, though this is limited to a pool of objects ("fictitious pages") that are never recycled for a different purpose. It may be possible to exploit this to escalate privileges.

Aug 19, 2026Atarim – AI Agency for WordPress: Edit Pages, Fix Code, Update Plugins, SEO & Client Feedback: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-19942 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Atarim – AI Agency for WordPress: Edit Pages, Fix Code, Update Plugins, SEO & Client Feedback plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the AVCF_Abilities_Media::register (replace-media-file execute_callback) function in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This is exploitable by first using the atarim/update-post-field ability to overwrite the _wp_attached_file meta of an attacker-owned attachment with a directory-traversal path, then invoking atarim/replace-media-file to cause get_attached_file() to resolve and unlink the targeted file.

Aug 18, 2026grav-plugin-api (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) versions >= 1.0.0-beta.10 and <= 1.0.14 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the PagesController::batchCopy() metCVE-2026-75830 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
grav-plugin-api (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) versions >= 1.0.0-beta.10 and <= 1.0.14 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the PagesController::batchCopy() method. An incomplete fix for GHSA-qjq4-jp55-4mx2 left the user-controlled 'suffix' parameter (via POST /api/v1/pages/batch) unvalidated. An authenticated user with the api.pages.write permission (editor-level, not super-admin) can supply path traversal sequences (e.g. /../../../) in the suffix parameter to escape the intended user/pages/ directory and write attacker-controlled page content and page media to arbitrary filesystem locations writable by the web server process. The vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.15.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: pci: Fix memory accounting for pinned/unpinned pages The account_mem() and unaccount_mem() functions call get_uid() which increments the reference count of struct user_struct on every invocation. But we don't decrement the count by calling free_uid(). It also accounted/unaccounted the pages against the current->mm. But its possible the unaccount_mem() can be called from a different process context than the one that originally pinned the pages. Let's fix this by storing the pinning process user_struct and mm_struct when accounting for pinned pages, and subsequently free these resources when the pages are unpinned. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Take mmap_lock in zap_pages() zap_vma_range() requires the owning mm's mmap_lock to be held. Taking mmap_read_lock under arena->lock would AB-BA against arena_vm_close() and arena_map_mmap(), both of which run with mmap_write_lock held and then acquire arena->lock. Instead drop arena->lock, mmget_not_zero() the vma's mm, take mmap_read_lock, and re-resolve the vma via find_vma() since it may have been unmapped or replaced while waiting. Track processed vmls with a per-call generation in vml->zap_gen and serialize zap_pages() callers with a new arena->zap_mutex so concurrent callers on different uaddr ranges do not mark each other's vmls processed before the zap is done.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/mm_init: fix uninitialized struct pages for ZONE_DEVICE If DAX memory is hotplugged into an unoccupied subsection of an early section, section_activate() reuses the unoptimized boot memmap. However, compound_nr_pages() still assumes that vmemmap optimization is in effect and initializes only the reduced number of struct pages. As a result, the remaining tail struct pages are left uninitialized, which can later lead to unexpected behavior or crashes. Fix this by treating early sections as unoptimized when calculating how many struct pages to initialize.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: Fix use-after-free in amdxdna_gem_dmabuf_mmap() When vm_insert_pages() fails, the error path calls vma->vm_ops->close(vma) which internally calls drm_gem_vm_close() → drm_gem_object_put(), releasing the GEM object reference acquired at the start of the function. However, the close_vma label then falls through to put_obj, which calls drm_gem_object_put() a second time on the same object. If the first put releases the last reference, the object is freed and the second put accesses freed memory, causing a use-after-free. Fix by returning directly from close_vma instead of falling through to put_obj, since the close handler already performs all necessary cleanup including the object put.

Aug 14, 2026The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.13 contains an API key scope-cap bypass in PagesController::guardTwigContent().CVE-2026-72824 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.13 contains an API key scope-cap bypass in PagesController::guardTwigContent(). The Twig-toggle check uses a bare isSuperAdmin() gate that does not consult api_key_scopes, so a least-privilege API key scoped only to api.pages.write and minted on a super account can enable process.twig on a page save even though admin.pages_twig is intentionally outside the api.pages scope. When security.twig_content.process_enabled=true and editor_enabled=false, this allows Twig-in-content to execute server-side, resulting in server-side template injection (SSTI) and remote code execution.

Aug 13, 2026auth-fetch-mcp is an MCP server that lets AI assistants fetch content from authenticated web pages.CVE-2026-49857 · Other software · ymw0407 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
auth-fetch-mcp is an MCP server that lets AI assistants fetch content from authenticated web pages. Version 3.0.1 implements SSRF protection in `assertSafeUrl()` (`src/security.ts`) to block requests to private and loopback addresses. However, the `isPrivateV6()` function fails to detect IPv4-mapped IPv6 loopback addresses in their hex-normalized form. When an attacker supplies a URL such as `http://[::ffff:127.0.0.1]:PORT/`, the Node.js WHATWG URL parser silently normalizes the host to `[::ffff:7f00:1]`. Because `net.isIPv4('7f00:1')` returns `false`, the private-IP check is bypassed and the URL is passed to the browser or HTTP client, allowing the MCP tool to reach loopback services that are supposed to be blocked. The issue is exploitable under default configuration without any special environment variable. Version 3.0.1 patches the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: nVMX: Put vmcs12 pages if nested VM-Enter fails due to invalid guest state Put all vmcs12 pages if KVM synthesizes a nested VM-Exit due to invalid guest while emulating VMLAUNCH or VMRESUME. The invalid guest state path doesn't use nested_vmx_vmexit() as that API is intended to be used if and only if L2 is active, and the open coded equivalent neglects to put the vmcs12 pages. Failure to put the vmcs12 pages leaks any pinned pages (and/or mappings) if L1 retries VMLAUNCH/VMRESUME. Note, the !from_vmenter scenario doesn't suffer the same problem, as vmx_get_nested_state_pages() only gets/pins/maps the vmcs12 pages if L2 is active, i.e. if a "full" VM-Exit is guaranteed before KVM will retry getting vmcs12 pages.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: reject free space cache with more entries than pages When loading a v1 free space cache, __load_free_space_cache() takes num_entries and num_bitmaps straight from the on-disk btrfs_free_space_header. That header is stored in the tree_root under a key with type 0, which the tree-checker has no case for, so neither count is validated before the load trusts it. The load loops num_entries times and maps the next page whenever the current one runs out, going through io_ctl_check_crc() -> io_ctl_map_page(), which does io_ctl->pages[io_ctl->index++]. But pages[] is allocated in io_ctl_init() from the cache inode's i_size, not from num_entries: num_pages = DIV_ROUND_UP(i_size_read(inode), PAGE_SIZE); io_ctl->pages = kcalloc(num_pages, sizeof(struct page *), GFP_NOFS); So if num_entries claims more records than the pages can hold, io_ctl->index runs off the end of pages[]. The write side never hits this because io_ctl_add_entry() and io_ctl_add_bitmap() both stop once io_ctl->index >= io_ctl->num_pages; the read side just never had the same check. To trigger it, take a clean cache (num_entries = <N> here), se

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Check for invalid/obsolete root *after* making MMU pages available Check for a "stale" page fault, i.e. for an invalid and/or obsolete root, after making MMU pages available for the shadow MMU. If reclaiming shadow pages zaps an in-use root, i.e. marks it invalid, then KVM will attempt to map memory into an invalid root. On its own, populating an invalid root is "fine", but because child shadow pages inherit their parent's role, any children created during the map/fetch will be created as invalid pages, thus violating KVM's invariant that invalid pages are never on the list of active MMU pages. Note, the underlying flaw has existed since KVM first started tracking invalid roots in 2008 (commit 2e53d63acba7, "KVM: MMU: ignore zapped root pagetables"), but the true badness only came along in 2020 (Linux 5.9) with the invariant that invalid shadow pages can't be on the list of active pages. Note #2, inheriting role.invalid when creating child shadow pages is also far from ideal; that flaw will be addressed separately.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xhci: sideband: fix ring sg table pages leak xhci_ring_to_sgtable() allocates a temporary pages array and uses it to build the returned sg_table with sg_alloc_table_from_pages(). The error paths free the pages array, but the success path returns the sg_table without freeing it. This leaks the temporary array every time a sideband client gets an endpoint or event ring buffer. Free the pages array after sg_alloc_table_from_pages() succeeds. The returned sg_table has its own scatterlist entries and does not depend on the temporary array after construction.

Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm: Fix freeing of PMD-sized vmemmap pages Commit bf9e4e30f353 ("x86/mm: use pagetableCVE-2026-64302 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm: Fix freeing of PMD-sized vmemmap pages Commit bf9e4e30f353 ("x86/mm: use pagetable_free()"), switched from freeing non-boot page tables through __free_pages() to pagetable_free(). However, the function is also called to free vmemmap pages. Given that vmemmap pages are not page tables, already the page_ptdesc(page) is wrong. But worse, pagetable_free() calls: __free_pages(page, compound_order(page)); Since vmemmap pages are not compound pages (see vmemmap_alloc_block()) -- except for HVO, which doesn't apply here -- only first page of a PMD-sized vmemmap page is freed, leaking the other ones. Fix it by properly decoupling pagetable and vmemmap freeing. free_pagetable() no longer has to mess with SECTION_INFO, as only the vmemmap is marked like that in register_page_bootmem_memmap(). The indentation in remove_pmd_table() is messed up. Fix that while touching it. Bootmem info handling will soon be fixed up. For now, handle it similar to free_pagetable(), just avoiding the ifdef. Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/aux: Fix page UAF in map_range() map_range() reads rb->aux_pages[], rb->aux_nr_pages CVE-2026-64300 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/aux: Fix page UAF in map_range() map_range() reads rb->aux_pages[], rb->aux_nr_pages and rb->aux_pgoff via perf_mmap_to_page() while holding only event->mmap_mutex. Those fields are serialized by rb->aux_mutex, and mmap_mutex is per event. Thus, two events sharing one rb via PERF_EVENT_IOC_SET_OUTPUT can race rb_alloc_aux() with map_range(), leading to a page-UAF scenario as follows: CPU 0 CPU 1 ===== ===== rb_alloc_aux() map_range() [1]: allocate rb->aux_pages[0] [2]: rb->aux_nr_pages++ [3]: perf_mmap_to_page() returns rb->aux_pages[0] [4]: map it as VM_PFNMAP [5]: rb->aux_pgoff = 1 munmap the page [6]: free rb->aux_pages[0] Pages mapped as VM_PFNMAP have no refcount protection, so CPU 1 holds a mapping to a freed physical frame. Fix this by taking rb->aux_mutex across the page walk in map_range().

Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: module: decompress: check return value of module_extend_max_pages() module_extend_max_pageCVE-2026-64297 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: module: decompress: check return value of module_extend_max_pages() module_extend_max_pages() calls kvrealloc() internally and returns -ENOMEM on allocation failure. The return value is never checked. If the initial allocation fails, info->pages remains NULL and info->max_pages remains 0. Subsequent calls to module_get_next_page() will attempt to dynamically grow the array by calling module_extend_max_pages(info, 0) since info->used_pages is 0. This results in kvrealloc(NULL, 0) returning ZERO_SIZE_PTR, which is treated as a success, leading to a dereference of ZERO_SIZE_PTR and a kernel oops. Fix: add the missing error check after module_extend_max_pages() and return immediately on failure. This matches the pattern used by every other kvrealloc() caller in the module loading path. [Sami: Corrected the analysis in the commit message.]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix potential UAF in netfs_unlock_abandoned_read_pages() netfs_unlock_abandoned_read_pages(rreq) accesses the index of the folios it is wanting to unlock and compares that to rreq->no_unlock_folio so that it doesn't unlock a folio being read for netfs_perform_write() or netfs_write_begin(). However, given that netfs_unlock_abandoned_read_pages() is called _after_ NETFS_RREQ_IN_PROGRESS is cleared, the one folio that it's not allowed to dereference is the one specified by ->no_unlock_folio as ownership immediately reverts to the caller. Fix this by storing the folio pointer instead and using that rather than the index. Also fix netfs_unlock_read_folio() where the same applies.

Jul 23, 2026Grav API Plugin (Composer package getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.10 fails to properly validate the slug field in the POST /pages/{route}/move endpoint.CVE-2026-65896 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
Grav API Plugin (Composer package getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.10 fails to properly validate the slug field in the POST /pages/{route}/move endpoint. PagesController::move() sanitizes the slug only with ltrim($body['slug'], '.'), which strips leading periods but does not neutralize '/' or '..' segments. An authenticated API caller with the api.pages.write permission can supply path traversal sequences (e.g., 01.home/../../../pwned) to move an entire page directory (content and media) to an arbitrary writable location outside user/pages/, including outside the Grav installation.

If a skip occurs, the inode must be re-marked as the VFS may have cleared the mark. This is really only theoretical for directories in netfs_write_single() as the only path to that is through afs_single_writepages() that takes the ->validate_lock around it, thereby serialising it.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/memory: fix spurious warning when unmapping device-private/exclusive pages Device privaCVE-2026-64131 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/memory: fix spurious warning when unmapping device-private/exclusive pages Device private and exclusive entries are only supported for anonymous folios. This condition is tested in __migrate_device_pages() and make_device_exclusive() using folio_test_anon(). However the unmap path tests this assumption using vma_is_anonymous(). This is wrong because whilst anonymous VMAs can only contain folios where folio_test_anon() is true the opposite relation does not hold. A folio for which folio_test_anon() is true does not imply vma_is_anonymous() is true. Such a condition can occur if for example a folio is part of a private filebacked mapping. In this case vma_is_anonymous() is false as the mapping is filebacked, but folio_test_anon() may be true, thus permitting devices to migrate the folio to device private memory. This can lead to the following spurious warnings during process teardown: [ 772.737706] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [ 772.739201] WARNING: mm/memory.c:1754 at unmap_page_range.cold+0x26/0x18a, CPU#17: hmm-tests/2041 [ 772.742050] Modules linked in: test_hmm nvidia_uvm(O) nvidia(O) [
