  • Aug 18, 2026Malcolm's upload-processing pipeline (scripts/safe-extract.py) enforces entry-count, nesting-depth, and total-uncompressed-byte limits when extracting containerCVE-2026-19671 · Other software · CISAgov · reported by ics-cert@hq.dhs.govHigh 7.1

Malcolm's upload-processing pipeline (scripts/safe-extract.py) enforces entry-count, nesting-depth, and total-uncompressed-byte limits when extracting container archives (zip/tar/rar/7z via libarchive), but those limits are not applied when the uploaded file is a single-stream compressed format (.gz, .bz2, .xz, .lzma, .lz) that isn't a .tar.*-style archive. Any authenticated user permitted to upload PCAP/log files can upload a small, highly compressible file (e.g. a gzip bomb) that decompresses to an effectively unbounded size on disk, exhausting the shared Docker volume used by OpenSearch, Logstash, Arkime, and Zeek, and disrupting the platform for all users.

  • Aug 18, 2026Hugo 0.161.0 placed the Node asset pipelines behind the Node.js permission model so that code running through PostCSS, Babel, or TailwindCSS could not reach theCVE-2026-75926 · Other software · gohugoio · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

Hugo 0.161.0 placed the Node asset pipelines behind the Node.js permission model so that code running through PostCSS, Babel, or TailwindCSS could not reach the file system outside the project directory. Hugo 0.162.0 added tailwindcss to the AllowChildProcess default in config/security/securityConfig.go, which makes nodePermissionArgs in common/hexec/exec.go append --allow-child-process whenever the tool being launched is named tailwindcss. TailwindCSS loads the site's tailwind.config.js through require at startup, so top-level code in that file executes inside the permitted Node process and can call child_process to spawn a shell. The spawned process is not a Node process and inherits none of the permission flags, so it runs with the full privileges of the account performing the build. Building a site whose theme, module, or starter template supplies the Tailwind configuration therefore yields arbitrary command execution rather than the confined file access the permission model was introduced to enforce. Hugo 0.165.0 removes tailwindcss from the default security.exec.allow list, so the tool is no longer launched under the default configuration.

  • Aug 17, 2026phpIPAM through 1.8.1 fails to verify that a requested IP address belongs to the subnet a temporary share token was issued for.CVE-2026-75105 · Websites & servers · phpipam · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

phpIPAM through 1.8.1 fails to verify that a requested IP address belongs to the subnet a temporary share token was issued for. In app/temp_share/index.php and app/temp_share/address.php, when the share type is 'subnets', the subnetId parameter is used directly as a database primary key to fetch an address without confirming the address belongs to the authorized subnet. An unauthenticated party holding any valid, non-expired temporary share URL can enumerate the subnetId parameter to read every IP address record across all sections and subnets, including hostnames, DNS names, MAC addresses, owner/contact fields, and notes (which may contain credentials and configuration details).

openssl_encrypt (pip) versions <= 1.4.7 contain an information exposure vulnerability where the 'hsm fido2-test' and 'hsm onlykey-test' diagnostic commands unconditionally print the full derived hardware pepper as hex to stdout/stderr (crypt_cli.py, handle_hsm_command). The printed value can persist in terminal scrollback, session recordings, or CI logs. Impact is limited because the pepper is derived from a random per-invocation test salt and is salt-bound, so the leaked value cannot be used to decrypt real files. A related plugin issue logged raw prf_data outside the secret-redaction path. Fixed in 1.4.8 (and 1.5.0) by removing the hex dumps and routing plugin debug output through the redaction layer.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: don't leak bad clone into future transaction On memory allocation failure the cloned nft_pipapo_match can enter a bad state: - some fields can have their lookup tables resized while others did not - bits might have been toggled - scratch map can be undersized which also means m->bsize_max can be lower than what is required This means that the next insertion in the same batch can trigger out-of-bounds writes. Furthermore, a failure in the first can result in the bad clone to leak into the next transaction because the abort callback is never executed in this case (the upper layer saw an error and no attempt to allocate a transactional request was made). Record a state for the nft_pipapo_match structure: - NEW (pristine clone) - MOD (modified clone with good state) - ERR (potentially bogus content) Then make it so that deletes and insertions fail when the clone entered ERR state. In case the very first insert attempt results in an error, free the clone right away.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: use dst in this direction when pushing IPIP header When pushing the IPIP header, the route of the other direction is used to calculate the headroom, use the route in this direction. Accessing the other tuple to set the IP source and destination is fine because this tuple does not provide such information to avoid storing redundant information. However, this tuple already provides the dst for this direction, this went unnoticed because this bug affects headroom and iph->frag_off only at this stage.

  • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: support IPIP tunnel with direct xmit The combination of IPIP tunnel CVE-2026-72248 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: support IPIP tunnel with direct xmit The combination of IPIP tunnel with direct xmit, eg. bridge device, breaks because no dst_entry is provided to check the skb headroom and to set the iph->frag_off field. This leads to invalid dst usage and can trigger a crash in the tunnel transmit path. Fix this by moving dst_cache and dst_cookie out of the runtime union so that they can be shared by neighbour, xfrm, and direct tunnel flows. For FLOW_OFFLOAD_XMIT_DIRECT tuples carrying tunnel metadata, preserve route state in these shared fields and release it through the common dst release path. Since dst_entry is now available to the three supported xmit modes and dst_release() already deals with NULL dst, remove the xmit type check in nft_flow_dst_release(). Moreover, skip the check if the dst entry is NULL in nf_flow_dst_check() which is now the case for the direct xmit case. Based on patch from Rein Wei <n05ec@lzu.edu.cn>.

  • Aug 12, 2026blaze is a Scala library for building asynchronous pipelines, with a focus on network IO.CVE-2026-73495 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

blaze is a Scala library for building asynchronous pipelines, with a focus on network IO. Prior to 0.23.18 and 1.0.0-M42, blaze-server can merge HTTP/1.1 chunked-body trailer fields into Request.headers. Because trailer fields are attacker-controlled, an unauthenticated remote client can inject arbitrary header names and values, including X-Forwarded-For and internal authorization headers, that a fronting proxy sanitized from the request-header section, bypassing header-based trust decisions in the application. Any http4s application using BlazeServerBuilder over HTTP/1.1 whose routes or middleware trust proxy-set headers, including X-Forwarded-For, X-Real-IP, and X-Forwarded-Host, is affected. If a fronting proxy strips or normalizes those headers but forwards chunked bodies with trailers intact, an attacker can spoof client IP for allow-lists, rate limits, or auditing, forge the https scheme, or inject internal authorization headers. A promoted Connection: close trailer is also honored, allowing attacker-controlled termination of pooled backend connections. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.18 and 1.0.0-M42.

A flaw was found in Data Science Pipelines (DSP). An attacker with namespace editor privileges can bypass security hardening by submitting a malicious Argo Workflow through the V1 API path. This allows the API server to create pods with elevated privileges, acting as a 'confused deputy' on behalf of the attacker. Successful exploitation grants the attacker node-root access, enabling arbitrary code execution and full control over the underlying node.

A flaw was found in Data Science Pipelines. A restricted user, or tenant, can exploit an improper authorization vulnerability in the setDefaultServiceAccount function. By specifying a more privileged ServiceAccount (SA) during a CreateRun request, an attacker can bypass authorization checks. This allows the tenant to run their containers with elevated privileges, potentially leading to the disclosure of sensitive information (secrets) and the ability to execute commands within other users' pods.

A flaw was found in the Data Science Pipelines Operator (DSPO). A namespace editor can exploit a vulnerability in the spec.database.customExtraParams field, which allows for the injection of dangerous parameters into the MySQL Data Source Name (DSN) string. By manipulating these parameters, an attacker can enable LOCAL INFILE functionality and exfiltrate sensitive files, such as the service account token, from the operator pod. This can lead to privilege escalation, allowing a namespace editor to gain cluster-admin privileges.

A flaw was found in the Data Science Pipelines Operator. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to derive sensitive credentials, such as MariaDB root/user passwords and MinIO access/secret keys, if they can access the MinIO Route or MariaDB Service. The flaw occurs because the operator uses a cryptographically weak pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) to generate these credentials, making them predictable. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix resource leak on mmiotrace trace_pipe close The mmiotrace tracer was added May 12th 2008. At that time, resources created in pipe_open() could not be freed because there was not pipe_close function pointer of the tracer. The pipe_close function pointer was added in December 7th, 2009, but the mmiotrace tracer was not updated. mmio_pipe_open() allocates a header_iter and takes a pci_dev reference when trace_pipe is opened. mmio_close() frees them, but it was only wired to the tracer's .close callback. tracing_release_pipe() invokes .pipe_close, not .close, when the trace_pipe file is released. As a result, closing trace_pipe with the mmiotrace tracer active leaked the header_iter allocation and left a stale pci_dev reference. Set .pipe_close to mmio_close, matching how function_graph wires both callbacks to the same handler. Note, if the trace_pipe is read to completion, it will clean up the resources, but if one were to run: # head -n 1 /sys/kernel/tracing/trace_pipe VERSION 20070824 Over and over again, it would trigger a massive leak.

  • Aug 7, 2026Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads.CVE-2026-48039 · Other software · pipeboard-co · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads. Prior to version 1.0.109, `AuthInjectionMiddleware.dispatch()` at `http_auth_integration.py:272` unconditionally forwards unauthenticated Streamable HTTP requests to downstream MCP tool handlers without issuing a `401` response, allowing any network-reachable caller to invoke MCP tools without authentication. When no per-request credential is present, tool handlers fall back to the `META_ACCESS_TOKEN` environment variable, and when the downstream Meta Graph API call fails, `api.py:263–269` serialises the raw `httpx` request URL—including the operator's `access_token` as a query parameter—into the JSON-RPC response body, delivering the credential to the unauthenticated caller. Version 1.0.109 fixes the issue.

imagecli's pipeline operation (Carve::apply in src/image_ops.rs) only asserts , never validating that the ratio is positive. A negative ratio (e.g. -5) causes the computed target width to saturate to 0 via Rust's defined float-to-uint cast, which is then passed to imageproc::seam_carving::shrink_width — a function that panics when given a width below 2, crashing the process.

This patch adds a stub that can be enhanced to add more configuration that are currently not supported. As of now, the offload work is enqueued to the worker, then ignored if the hardware offload configuration is not supported. Check the NF_FLOW_HW flag to know if this entry was already tried once to be offloaded so this is not retried on refresh when unsupported. Move NF_FLOW_HW flag check to nf_flow_offload_add(). If this NF_FLOW_HW flag is unset the _del and _stats variants are never called. This can be updated later on to skip hardware offload work to be queued in case hardware offload does not support it.

Unbound needs to be configured with one of 'respip'/'rpz' modules, together with a module that can attach subqueries (respip CNAME redirection, dns64, subnetcache) and a configured 'access-control-view' while Unbound is under pressure so that joslte logic kicks in and starts dropping slow queries. The subquery is getting a shallow copy of the view name and if the super query which owns the view name is jostled out, memory corruption can occur. Likelihood of a crash is low, since it relies heavily on the underlying memory allocator and the memory layout. Debug memory builds (e.g., ASAN) that catch the free terminate the server.

If the validator finds an expired or otherwise invalid RRSIG on an answer whose A record falls within a 'response-ip'/RPZ configuration, the answer is still rewritten and given a hard coded security level of INSECURE. This results in the client receiving an INSECURE NOERROR reply rewritten by the operator's configured IP. A malicious actor can exploit the possible poisonous effect by spoofing a BOGUS A/AAAA answer that falls inside the operator's configured subnet rewrites. Such DNSSEC protected answers are then insecurely redirected to the operator's configured target.

In Zephyr's kernel pipe implementation, the userspace syscall verifier z_vrfy_k_pipe_init() in kernel/pipe.c used K_SYSCALL_OBJ() (which requires the kernel object to already be initialized) instead of K_SYSCALL_OBJ_NEVER_INIT() (which rejects an already-initialized object). As a result, on CONFIG_USERSPACE builds an unprivileged user thread that has been granted access to a k_pipe object can invoke the k_pipe_init syscall to re-initialize a pipe that is already in use. z_impl_k_pipe_init() unconditionally resets the ring buffer, sets pipe->waiting to 0, and re-initializes both wait queues (z_waitq_init on pipe->data and pipe->space) without waking or accounting for threads currently blocked on the pipe. Any thread already pended in k_pipe_read()/k_pipe_write() is left orphaned: still marked pending with pended_on pointing at the cleared wait queue and with stale qnode_dlist links into the (now re-initialized) embedded list head. When such an orphaned waiter is later timed out or woken, the scheduler calls sys_dlist_remove() on its stale node, writing through dangling prev/next pointers into kernel wait-queue/scheduler structures, causing list corruption (an attacker-driven inval
