Sep 21, 2026Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks.CVE-2026-55179 · Other software · laurent22 · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.2, Joplin Server's GET /items/:id/content route in packages/server/src/routes/index/items.ts loads item content from an attacker-supplied internal server ID without checking whether the signed-in user owns or can access that item. Any authenticated user who obtains or guesses another user's item ID can read the corresponding note or item content when end-to-end encryption does not protect it. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.2.

Sep 21, 2026Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks.CVE-2026-55105 · Other software · laurent22 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.6.15 and 3.7.2, packages/renderer/MdToHtml/rules/fountain.ts passes HTML generated by the vendored fountain.js renderer into note output without sanitizing it. A malicious Fountain code block can therefore execute script when Fountain rendering is enabled in desktop or mobile clients, or when a note is published through Joplin Server where Fountain rendering is enabled by default. The script can read content subsequently loaded in the reused note viewer or, when published notes are served from the same domain as server content, access data available to an authenticated browser in the server origin. This issue is fixed in versions 3.6.15 and 3.7.2.

Sep 21, 2026Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks.CVE-2026-49453 · Other software · laurent22 · reported by GitHubHigh 7
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.6.15 and 3.7.2, Joplin accepts synchronized resource metadata whose id or file_extension contains parent-directory or path-separator characters. BaseItem.unserialize() stores the unvalidated fields, resourceFilename() concatenates them into a destination path, and ResourceFetcher writes the attacker-controlled resource blob outside the resource directory during background synchronization. An attacker with write access to a configured sync target or shared notebook can create or overwrite files at an attacker-chosen existing path without user interaction. This issue is fixed in versions 3.6.15 and 3.7.2.

Sep 21, 2026Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks.CVE-2026-49450 · Other software · laurent22 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.2, Joplin Desktop for Windows omits publisherName from packages/app-desktop/package.json, so the generated app-update.yml causes NsisUpdater.verifySignature() to skip comparison of a downloaded update's Authenticode signer with Joplin's signer. An attacker who controls the update delivery path can replace the update metadata and installer, and the client accepts an installer signed by another publisher or left unsigned after the user approves installation. Successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with the user's privileges and can compromise notes, credentials, and local data. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.2.

Sep 21, 2026Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks.CVE-2026-49449 · Other software · laurent22 · reported by GitHubLow 2.5
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. From 1.4.0 until 3.7.2, packages/renderer/MdToHtml/rules/katex.ts enables KaTeX's trust option for note content, allowing a note author to place a \href URL into rendered output without passing Joplin's normal URL allowlist. On Windows, clicking a link whose target is an attacker-controlled UNC path causes pathExists() to initiate SMB authentication and disclose the current user's NTLMv2 challenge-response without a warning. The unfiltered URL can also invoke other registered URL handlers, but the credential disclosure through KaTeX \href is the distinguishing demonstrated impact. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.2.

Sep 21, 2026Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks.CVE-2026-46649 · Other software · laurent22 · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.2, Joplin Server's GET /api/login_with_code/:id endpoint accepts a nine-digit SSO authentication code with a ten-minute lifetime without applying limiterLoginBruteForce. An unauthenticated attacker who targets a user during an active SSO login can make unlimited guesses, and a correct code returns a full session token that permits access to and modification of the user's notes, notebooks, and account settings. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.2.

Sep 9, 2026tirreno, a security framework, has a session fixation issue in versions prior to 0.10.0.CVE-2026-64857 · Other software · tirrenotechnologies · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
tirreno, a security framework, has a session fixation issue in versions prior to 0.10.0. During authentication, tirreno validates the user's credentials and establishes the authenticated session, but it does not call `session_regenerate_id()` afterward. As a result, the session identifier is not rotated on login, it stays the same before and after authentication. An attacker able to fix a known session identifier in a victim's browser (for example through a network man-in-the-middle position, or a separate cross-site scripting or subdomain cookie-injection issue) could then gain access to the victim's authenticated session. The issue is fixed in v0.10.0. The session identifier is now regenerated on successful authentication, and the previous session is destroyed. There is no configuration-level workaround.

SiYuan versions <= 3.8.1 contain an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-32767 (GHSA-j7wh-x834-p3r7). The prior fix (commit d5e2d0bc) added an administrator check for SQL mode (method=2) in POST /api/search/fullTextSearchBlock, but the endpoint still does not enforce the application's read-only boundary: for method=2 it forwards caller-supplied SQL to the blocks database query path without calling model.CheckReadonly or CheckReadonlyStatementInBox. As a result, when a workspace runs in read-only mode (--readonly=true), an authenticated administrator can submit arbitrary SQL through /api/search/fullTextSearchBlock and obtain raw read access to the blocks database, even though the dedicated /api/query/sql endpoint is blocked in that mode. Sep 4, 2026Note Mark is an open-source note-taking application.CVE-2026-50553 · Other software · enchant97 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
Note Mark is an open-source note-taking application. Prior to version 0.19.5, Note Mark validates book and note slug values with the OpenAPI/huma tag pattern:"[a-z0-9-]+". huma compiles this with regexp.MustCompile(s.Pattern) and tests it with patternRe.MatchString(str), an UNANCHORED match. Because the pattern is not anchored (^...$), any string that merely CONTAINS one [a-z0-9-] substring passes validation. A slug such as ../../../../../../tmp/escape is accepted and stored verbatim. The data-export CLI commands (note-mark migrate export and note-mark migrate export-v1) join these unsanitized slugs straight into the output path with path.Join / filepath.Join, then os.MkdirAll the directory and os.Create the note file. path.Join resolves the ../ segments, so the note content file is written OUTSIDE the configured export directory. The export process commonly runs as root (default in Docker / bare-metal admin usage), so this is a root-privilege arbitrary directory create + file write. This issue has been patched in version 0.19.5.

Sep 4, 2026SiYuan is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability (confirmed in v3.8.1, fixed in v3.8.2) in the reader-accessible POST /api/transactions/undoState eCVE-2026-85579 · Other software · siyuan-note · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
SiYuan is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability (confirmed in v3.8.1, fixed in v3.8.2) in the reader-accessible POST /api/transactions/undoState endpoint. The endpoint returns the peekMutatedRootIDs list from the global undo-log stack for a caller-supplied root ID without applying publish-access visibility filtering. An authenticated reader who knows the root ID of a visible document can obtain the internal root IDs of other documents (including private or unpublished ones) modified in the same cross-document transaction, disclosing internal identifiers and cross-document relationships. Document body contents are not directly exposed.

Sep 3, 2026Note Mark is an open-source note-taking application.CVE-2026-50554 · Other software · enchant97 · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Note Mark is an open-source note-taking application. Prior to version 0.19.5, GET /api/books/{bookID}/notes is an unauthenticated endpoint that accepts a "deleted" query parameter. When the request is ?deleted=true, the service runs the query with Unscoped() (bypassing GORM's soft-delete scope) but keeps the read-authorization clause as "owner_id = ? OR is_public = ?". As a result, any unauthenticated caller can enumerate the metadata of soft-deleted ("trashed") notes belonging to any public book — notes the owner explicitly deleted and expected to be removed from public view. This issue has been patched in version 0.19.5.

Sep 3, 2026SiYuan versions <= 3.8.1 (fixed in v3.8.2) contain an incomplete blocklist in the IsForbiddenAbsPath() function (kernel/util/path_guard.go), which only blocks cCVE-2026-85175 · Other software · siyuan-note · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
SiYuan versions <= 3.8.1 (fixed in v3.8.2) contain an incomplete blocklist in the IsForbiddenAbsPath() function (kernel/util/path_guard.go), which only blocks conf/conf.json by exact match and does not restrict the TLS private key (conf/key.pem) or CA private key (conf/ca.key) stored in the same conf/ directory. Because the getFile handler skips the blocklist for RoleAdministrator and all authenticated users receive RoleAdministrator in v3.8.1, any user (or any client on a default no-auth-code instance) can retrieve these private keys via POST /api/file/getFile. On deployments with TLS enabled, this allows decryption of captured HTTPS traffic (key.pem) and forging of certificates trusted by clients that imported SiYuan's CA (ca.key).

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
