Sep 15, 2026OpenCost provides cost monitoring for Kubernetes workloads and cloud costs.CVE-2026-44300 · Other software · opencost · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
OpenCost provides cost monitoring for Kubernetes workloads and cloud costs. Prior to 1.121.0, the POST /serviceKey endpoint in pkg/costmodel/router.go allows a network client to invoke AddServiceKey without mandatory authentication and submit an arbitrary key form value that is written to the GCP service-account key.json file returned by GetGCPAuthSecretFilePath in core/pkg/env/core.go. The attacker controls the file contents but not the CONFIG_PATH-derived directory, the key.json filename, or the file mode. Replacing the credential contents can disrupt GCP cost collection or cause OpenCost to use attacker-selected credentials, and the wildcard Access-Control-Allow-Origin response permits browser-assisted requests when the service is reachable from a browser. This issue is fixed in version 1.121.0.

Sep 10, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-45770 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Starting in version 8.0.0 and prior to version 8.0.5, a Lua rule that registers too many flow variables can corrupt Lua detection state and may bypass Suricata's restricted Lua sandbox. This requires an affected Lua script/rule to be loaded. Excessive flow variables being registered may also cause Suricata to crash. Version 8.0.5 contains a fix. As a workaround, disable `security.lua.allow-rules` unless Lua rules are required.

Sep 10, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-45762 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5, Suricata's IP defragmentation tracker lookup did not verify that an existing tracker used the same IP address family as the packet being processed. Under crafted fragmented IPv4/IPv6 traffic, an IPv6 fragment could be associated with an IPv4 defragmentation tracker. This can lead to a remote packet-triggered crash and denial of service when Suricata performs the relevant defragmentation. Versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5 contain a fix. As a workaround, if using Suricata as an IDS with AF_PACKET, enabling AF_PACKET's `defrag` option may prevent Suricata from seeing such fragmented packets.

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5, a crafted rule using mixed-case frame syntax could trigger a heap buffer overflow while Suricata is loading signatures. The issue is reached during rule parsing/loading rather than by network traffic alone. Versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5 contain a fix. Sep 8, 2026A security issue in MongoDB Server's diagnostic reporting interface allows an authenticated user with monitoring privileges to access insufficiently protected cCVE-2026-82070 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comHigh 7.1
A security issue in MongoDB Server's diagnostic reporting interface allows an authenticated user with monitoring privileges to access insufficiently protected credentials from concurrent administrative operations. The same credentials are properly redacted in server log output, but the diagnostic interface omits equivalent redaction. Successful exploitation requires a valid authenticated session with monitoring-level permissions and results in exposure of cleartext credentials that could enable impersonation of other users, including privileged accounts.

Sep 8, 2026A security issue in MongoDB Server's query statistics serialization on the router allows users with monitoring privileges to access unredacted search query textCVE-2026-82069 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comMedium 5.1
A security issue in MongoDB Server's query statistics serialization on the router allows users with monitoring privileges to access unredacted search query text from other users' operations. An improper conditional check in the serialization logic causes the data redaction mechanism to be bypassed when processing search queries through the sharded cluster router. This results in sensitive query literals being stored and made accessible through the query statistics interface.

A buffer overflow in the Bluetooth Continuous Glucose Monitoring Service (CGMS) Record Access Control Point (RACP) write handler allows an authenticated BLE peer to overflow a 20-byte static buffer into adjacent BSS memory. The exploitable impact cannot be predetermined - it is entirely dependent on the linker-assigned BSS layout of the specific firmware build, which may vary.

Sep 3, 2026ntopng is a web-based network traffic monitoring application.CVE-2026-84989 · Other software · ntop · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
ntopng is a web-based network traffic monitoring application. In versions 6.7.0 through 6.7.260717, two REST v2 endpoints that manage ntopng's tag/badge feature — `POST /lua/rest/v2/delete/tag/tag.lua` and `POST /lua/rest/v2/edit/tag/tag.lua` — perform no authorization check at all. Any authenticated user, including a non-administrator ("unprivileged") account, can delete or rename any tag in the system, including tags created by an administrator. Version 6.7.260718 contains a fix.

Sep 3, 2026pfSense Plus before 26.07 and CE before 2.9.0 allow authenticated users with the Status: Monitoring privilege to inject arbitrary JavaScript via graph configuraCVE-2026-56126 · Other software · Netgate · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1
pfSense Plus before 26.07 and CE before 2.9.0 allow authenticated users with the Status: Monitoring privilege to inject arbitrary JavaScript via graph configuration parameters in /status_monitoring.php. Multiple POST parameters including graph-left, graph-right, time-period, resolution, start-date, end-date, start-time, end-time, graph-type, invert, and refresh-interval are concatenated and written to the global pfSense XML configuration without sanitization, then echoed unsanitized into a JavaScript string context on page render. Because the setting is stored in the global configuration, the payload executes in the browser of every user who visits the Status: Monitoring page.

Sep 1, 2026Incorrect Authorization (CWE-863) in Kibana Entity Analytics can lead to a loss of security monitoring via Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACVE-2026-72633 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coMedium 4.3
Incorrect Authorization (CWE-863) in Kibana Entity Analytics can lead to a loss of security monitoring via Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs (CAPEC-1). An authenticated user holding only read-level Security feature access, and no Elasticsearch privileges, could stop the recurring Privilege Monitoring engine task for a Kibana space. Privileged user monitoring then stops producing data for that space while the engine continues to report a healthy state to operators.

Aug 28, 2026dd-trace-rs provides Datadog application performance monitoring for Rust.CVE-2026-54788 · Other software · DataDog · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
dd-trace-rs provides Datadog application performance monitoring for Rust. From 0.1.0 until 0.3.3, datadog-opentelemetry/src/propagation/tracecontext.rs parses the W3C tracestate header and collects every semicolon-separated key and value pair in the Datadog dd=... vendor entry into a HashMap without enforcing a pair count or entry size limit. Because tracecontext extraction is enabled by default, a remote unauthenticated attacker can send an arbitrarily large dd=... entry and force excessive CPU and memory consumption for each request, causing denial of service in an instrumented network service. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.3.3.

Aug 27, 2026Grafana Alloy’s prometheus.operator.servicemonitors component allows a user who can create or modify ServiceMonitor resources in a watched namespace to specify CVE-2026-75889 · Other software · Grafana · reported by security@grafana.comHigh 7.7
Grafana Alloy’s prometheus.operator.servicemonitors component allows a user who can create or modify ServiceMonitor resources in a watched namespace to specify an arbitrary local file through bearerTokenFile. Alloy reads the file and sends its contents as a bearer token to an attacker-controlled scrape endpoint. This may disclose files accessible to the Alloy process, including its projected Kubernetes service account token, potentially granting the attacker Alloy’s Kubernetes permissions. Exploitation requires ServiceMonitor write access and lower privileges than Alloy’s service account.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
