  • Oct 1, 2026Tapo C120 v1 and C200 V5 do not adequately protect login challenge data or sanitize attacker-controlled input processed by the MacTool handler.CVE-2026-102369 · Network & remote access · TP-Link Systems Inc. · reported by f23511db-6c3e-4e32-a477-6aa17d310630High 8.7

Tapo C120 v1 and C200 V5 do not adequately protect login challenge data or sanitize attacker-controlled input processed by the MacTool handler. An unauthenticated attacker on the same local network can replay login challenge data to obtain an administrative session, enable a privileged service that becomes accessible after a reboot, and submit crafted input to execute arbitrary commands within the device management process. Successful exploitation may allow arbitrary command execution on the camera and compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected device. Exploitation requires access from the same local network, replay of the login challenge data, activation of the privileged service, and a device reboot.

  • Sep 30, 2026Claude Code selected an API key stored by Claude Code, for example from an earlier `/login` or written directly to its configuration, ahead of the user's valid CVE-2026-103012 · Other software · Anthropic · reported by 98a01053-8a31-4f6d-9aa9-252be161adc6Low 2

Claude Code selected an API key stored by Claude Code, for example from an earlier `/login` or written directly to its configuration, ahead of the user's valid Claude Enterprise or Team sign-in when fetching the organization's server-managed settings, even though the session itself authenticated with the Enterprise or Team account. When the settings endpoint rejected that stored key, the session started without the organization's server-managed policy (such as permission deny rules, model restrictions and managed-only locks) or, if a previously cached copy existed on the machine, kept applying that stale copy without receiving later policy changes — while continuing to operate as the organization's account. Triggering this required local access to a device with such a stored API key; the no-policy case additionally required that no managed settings had previously been cached. Endpoint-managed (MDM or file-based) settings were not affected. Claude for Enterprise organizations were affected from version 2.0.68; Claude for Work (Team) organizations from version 2.1.38, when server-managed settings became available to them. Users on standard Claude Code auto-update have received this

  • Sep 26, 2026miniOrange OTP Login, Verification and SMS Notifications: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-85984 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The miniOrange OTP Login, Verification and SMS Notifications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via the mo_wp_login_intent parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.5. This is due to a missing password-intent guard in the skip_pass_fallback-enabled configuration branch of the mo_by_pass_login() function, which treats administrator role membership alone as sufficient authentication whenever the unauthenticated, unverified POST parameter mo_wp_login_intent is submitted with the value otp, causing mo_get_user() to skip wp_authenticate_username_password() and resolve a WP_User purely from a username lookup. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing administrator account by supplying only a known username and an empty password alongside mo_wp_login_intent=otp, with no password or OTP verification required. Exploitation is conditional on a site administrator having simultaneously enabled the following plugin options: WP Login OTP, Login with Only OTP, Allow Users to Login with Username and Password, and Admin OTP Bypass.

  • Sep 26, 2026Adminer 5.5.1 through 6.0.1 improperly parses the login 'server' string in the host_port() function in adminer/include/functions.inc.php.CVE-2026-100698 · Other software · vrana · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

Adminer 5.5.1 through 6.0.1 improperly parses the login 'server' string in the host_port() function in adminer/include/functions.inc.php. The port capture group requires pure digits anchored to the end of the string, so any server value with a non-digit tail fails the regex and falls back to returning the whole string as the host with an empty port. Because the privileged-port restriction in adminer/include/auth.inc.php inspects only the parsed port, the check is skipped, and the mysqli/mysqlnd client subsequently re-parses host:port from the host string and opens a TCP connection. A remote, unauthenticated attacker who can reach the Adminer login page can submit a crafted value such as 127.0.0.1:80/x to make the server initiate TCP connections to arbitrary internal hosts and privileged ports before credentials are validated, enabling server-side request forgery and blind internal port scanning (connection refused vs. handshake vs. timeout acts as a liveness oracle). This is a regression that re-opens the bypass fixed in 5.5.0 (GHSA-58cq-mgw2-38m5). Fixed in 6.0.2.

  • Sep 26, 2026Budibase versions 3.41.0 before 3.45.0 contain an authentication bypass in the OIDC/SSO login path of @budibase/server.CVE-2026-100684 · Other software · budibase · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

Budibase versions 3.41.0 before 3.45.0 contain an authentication bypass in the OIDC/SSO login path of @budibase/server. In sso.authenticate, when no existing user matches the incoming SSO subject, the server looks up pending user invites by the IdP-asserted email address alone — without validating an invite code and without an email_verified check (the email_verified gate protects only the existing-account lookup). An attacker who can register at an IdP that the tenant trusts for OIDC and assert a victim's invited email address (even with email_verified=false) claims the pending invite and inherits all of its granted privileges, including builder and admin.global, with no admin exclusion. This results in takeover of the invited principal and, for admin invites, full tenant compromise (access to all apps, datasources including production credentials, and automations); the invite is consumed, denying onboarding to the legitimate invitee.

  • Sep 26, 2026grav-plugin-login (the Grav CMS Login plugin) versions >= 3.8.7 and < 3.9.7 allow the two-factor authentication challenge to be bypassed for content gated by thCVE-2026-100667 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

grav-plugin-login (the Grav CMS Login plugin) versions >= 3.8.7 and < 3.9.7 allow the two-factor authentication challenge to be bypassed for content gated by the authenticated() Twig function or the [authenticated] shortcode. On sites with 2FA enabled, Login::isAuthenticated() checked only the session flag indicating that the password step had succeeded, not the flag indicating that login had completed, so a session sitting at the 2FA code prompt was treated as fully authenticated. An attacker who knows a member's password but cannot answer that member's second factor can therefore read member-only content rendered by the no-argument authenticated() or group authenticated(null, 'group') forms and by [authenticated]; the inverse [guest] shortcode is likewise evaluated too early. Impact is limited to disclosure of that content: the attacker does not obtain a completed session, cannot access pages protected by an access: rule, and cannot act as the user. The authenticated('some.permission') form, which goes through UserObject::authorize(), is not affected. Fixed in grav-plugin-login 3.9.7.

  • Sep 26, 2026Flowise through 3.1.4 (Enterprise/platform mode with SSO enabled) contains an authentication bypass in the SSO login path.CVE-2026-100606 · Other software · FlowiseAI · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

Flowise through 3.1.4 (Enterprise/platform mode with SSO enabled) contains an authentication bypass in the SSO login path. When an SSO callback arrives with an email matching a user whose status is INVITED, verifyAndLogin (SSOBase.ts:80-94) copies the user record from the database — including the server-stored single-use invitation tempToken — into the data passed to AccountService.register(). The register handler's token lookup, email match, and expiry checks therefore pass trivially against the server's own token instead of a caller-supplied one, and the account and its organization membership are flipped to ACTIVE. As a result, anyone able to authenticate at any configured SSO provider using a pending invitee's email address as the email claim can take over that invitation and obtain the invited user's access to the organization without ever possessing the emailed invitation token, for as long as the invitation is valid (24 hours by default). At the time of the advisory no patched version was available.

  • Sep 25, 2026@openclaw/whatsapp (npm) before 2026.8.1 exposes the WhatsApp login tool through the generic channel-tool path without preserving the originating sender's ownerCVE-2026-100532 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2

@openclaw/whatsapp (npm) before 2026.8.1 exposes the WhatsApp login tool through the generic channel-tool path without preserving the originating sender's owner status, so the owner-only tool boundary is not enforced. An admitted non-owner sender able to steer the tool can request a forced login and receive a new QR code for a configured account, disconnecting the Gateway's WhatsApp account and causing loss of availability; full account relinking additionally requires the attacker to scan the returned QR code with another phone. The issue affects the owner-only tool boundary rather than WhatsApp transport authentication. Fixed in 2026.8.1.

  • Sep 23, 2026EthPress – Web3 Login: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-19125 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The EthPress – Web3 Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.5. This is due to the verify_login() function in app/Login.php containing a missing return statement in the signature verification failure branch — when Signature::verify2() reports a mismatch, the function only assigns a WP_Error to a local variable and continues executing, causing unconditional fall-through to the login block where Address::log_in() calls wp_set_auth_cookie() regardless of whether the submitted signature is valid. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any WordPress user who has a linked wallet address — including administrators — by submitting that user's public wallet address alongside an arbitrary well-formed signature, enabling full site takeover.

The Rename wp-login.php to anything you want plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via 'log' (Username) Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. As a result, the disabled-user guard in the TOTP branch was effectively a no-op: a disabled, TOTP-enrolled user could proceed to the TOTP verification step rather than being rejected at that point.  The commit message explicitly states this was 'harmless in practice' because the subsequent identify() call re-validates the user and would still reject a disabled account.  The practical security impact is therefore minimal, limited to a very small information-disclosure difference in the login response (a TOTP prompt is presented instead of an immediate rejection) and a PHP warning in application logs.

The login() function in MISP's UsersController.php contained insufficient HTTP method validation for several security-critical code paths. The original code used an allowlist approach, checking only for specific HTTP methods (POST and PUT) before enforcing bruteforce protection, email one-time-password (OTP) verification, and login-failure logging. Because the checks were not exhaustive, an unauthenticated attacker could issue login requests using other HTTP methods and bypass all three security controls simultaneously. Specifically:   - the bruteforce blocklisting check and attempt counter were skipped, allowing unlimited credential-guessing attempts without being rate-limited or blocked  -  the email OTP two-factor authentication step was skipped, defeating the second factor of authentication  - login-failure events were neither logged nor counted, removing the audit trail and the mechanism that would normally trigger a blocklist entry. The security impact is the effective disabling of brute-force protection and multi-factor authentication for any attacker who can craft an HTTP request with a non-POST/PUT method to the login endpoint, potentially leading to credential compro

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/isert: reject login PDUs declaring more data than was received isert_login_recv_done() records how many bytes the HCA actually placed in the login buffer, but nothing compares that against the length the login PDU's BHS declares. isert_rx_login_req() copies min(login_req_len, MAX_KEY_VALUE_PAIRS) bytes into login->req_buf, and the login code then reads the declared length back out of that buffer - for the first PDU in iscsi_target_locate_portal(), payload_length = ntoh24(login_req->dlength); tmpbuf = kmemdup_nul(login->req_buf, payload_length, GFP_KERNEL); and for the ones after it in iscsi_decode_text_input(), reached from iscsi_target_do_login(). login->req_buf is a fixed MAX_KEY_VALUE_PAIRS (8192) byte allocation, so an initiator that declares more than it sends reads off the end of it, before authentication and with the length under its control: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in kmemdup_nul+0x43/0x80 Read of size 8193 at addr ffff8881056a8000 by task iscsi_np/167 __asan_memcpy+0x23/0x60 kmemdup_nul+0x43/0x80 iscsi_target_locate_portal+0x48d/0x1180 iscsi_target_login_thread+0x19a9/0x3

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/isert: delay the final Login Response until the session is registered isert_put_login_tx() puts the final Login Response on the wire before __transport_register_session(), which iscsi_post_login_handler() reaches only after iscsi_target_do_login() returns. • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/isert: post the full-feature receive buffers after session registration isert_put_loginCVE-2026-90293 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/isert: post the full-feature receive buffers after session registration isert_put_login_tx() posts the full-feature receive buffers before __transport_register_session() runs, so an initiator that does not wait for the final Login Response can still have a SCSI command executed against an se_session whose se_tpg is NULL - the same oops as the previous patch, at target_submit+0xbe. Post them from isert_get_rx_pdu(), which the previous patch already uses to send that response, and post them before that send: the receive queue is filled at the moment the initiator is told it may use it. Allocating there keeps the existing property that a memory allocation failure cannot happen once the final Login Response is on the wire. The receive queue is already empty between the final Login Request and isert_post_recvm(); this moves the second point later, from a median of 92 us to 172 us over 1200 logins. Only an initiator that sends before it has been told to can reach that window, and on IB and RoCE its send is retried there until the buffers appear - isert_rdma_accept() asks for rnr_retry_count = 7. iWARP has no RN
