In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: light: ltrf216a: fix runtime PM reference leak in error path ltrf216a_get_lux() acquires a runtime PM reference by calling ltrf216a_set_power_state(data, true). However, if ltrf216a_read_data() fails, the function returns immediately without dropping the reference. This leaves the runtime PM usage count unbalanced, preventing the device from autosuspending after a failed read. Fix this by releasing the runtime PM reference before returning from the error path.

  • Sep 15, 2026MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault.CVE-2026-57442 · Other software · bitbonsai · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault. Prior to 0.11.5, PathFilter in src/pathfilter.ts uses root-anchored deny-list patterns, so nested .git, .obsidian, and node_modules path segments do not match the restriction and pass both isAllowed() and isAllowedForListing(). An attacker who influences a path selected by an AI agent can traverse nested repository or Obsidian metadata, read remote URLs or embedded tokens, or cause nested node_modules content to pollute the listAllTags index. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.5.

  • Sep 15, 2026MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault.CVE-2026-57441 · Other software · bitbonsai · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault. Prior to 0.11.4, PathFilter in src/pathfilter.ts compiles restricted-directory patterns case-sensitively and compares paths without canonicalizing filesystem-equivalent segment names. On case-insensitive macOS and Windows filesystems, case variants of .git, .obsidian, or node_modules pass both isAllowed() and isAllowedForListing() even though the operating system opens the restricted directory, and Windows trailing dots or spaces provide the same bypass. An attacker who influences a path selected by an AI agent can use the bypass in read, write, move, search, or listing operations to expose or modify sensitive repository and Obsidian metadata. Vault-root .. containment is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.4.

  • Sep 15, 2026CodeRAG is a lightweight semantic code search and distillation utility for AI coding agents.CVE-2026-57586 · Other software · naranor · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

CodeRAG is a lightweight semantic code search and distillation utility for AI coding agents. Prior to 1.3.1, the default agent-coderag sync flow in code_rag/entry/cli.py calls sync_dependencies for an indexed path, and code_rag/core/manager.py treats build.gradle or build.gradle.kts as sufficient to invoke _sync_gradle. _sync_gradle prefers a repository-controlled gradlew or gradlew.bat file and passes it directly to asyncio.create_subprocess_exec with the repository root as the working directory; validate_path in code_rag/core/utils.py constrains the directory location but does not validate the executable's content or integrity. A victim who indexes an attacker-controlled Gradle repository therefore executes attacker-supplied code with the victim's operating-system privileges, allowing disclosure, modification, persistence, or denial of service in the user environment. This issue is fixed in 1.3.1.

  • Sep 15, 2026Outerbase Studio is a lightweight browser-based database GUI supporting PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite.CVE-2026-55650 · Other software · outerbase · reported by GitHubMedium 4.4

Outerbase Studio is a lightweight browser-based database GUI supporting PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite. In version 0.10.2 and earlier, TextComponent in src/components/chart/index.tsx renders unsanitized Text Widget content through dangerouslySetInnerHTML, allowing injected markup with script-capable event handlers to execute when the widget is displayed. Outerbase Cloud and its backend services were discontinued in 2025, and the current architecture uses local browser dashboard storage, so the impact is limited to local self-XSS. Authentication token theft, account takeover, and backend database access are not applicable to the current architecture. No fixed release is available as of this review.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: wait for in-flight client TLS handshake callback xs_tls_handshake_sync() gives xs_CVE-2026-89536 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: wait for in-flight client TLS handshake callback xs_tls_handshake_sync() gives xs_tls_handshake_done() a reference to the lower transport before submitting the handshake request. On timeout or signal, the synchronous waiter drops that reference after calling tls_handshake_cancel(). handshake_req_cancel() returns false when handshake_complete() has already marked the request complete. In that case the completion callback can still be running, so dropping the callback-owned reference in the waiter can free the lower transport before xs_tls_handshake_done() stores xprt_err or drops its own reference. If cancellation loses to completion, wait until xs_tls_handshake_done() signals handshake_done and let the callback release its reference. This mirrors the server-side handshake lifetime handling and keeps the timeout or signal return value unchanged.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/core: Make core-sched flips wait for in-flight selections Core scheduling's pick_nexCVE-2026-89520 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/core: Make core-sched flips wait for in-flight selections Core scheduling's pick_next_task() operates on all sibling rqs under one acquisition of the shared core-wide lock. A ->pick_task() that releases the rq lock leaves every sibling __lock momentarily free, letting __sched_core_flip(false) complete mid-selection and rebind rq_lockp() under it. The selection resumes on the split locks, touching sibling state it no longer protects, and __schedule() finally releases a lock that was never taken while leaking the one that was. Count in-flight core-wide selections in the leader's rq->core_pick_in_flight and make __sched_core_flip() wait for the count to drain. The count only changes under the shared lock, which the flip holds while sampling, so no other ordering is needed. The wait can repeat while selections overlap, but the flip backs off between samples and flips are rare cookie-lifetime events. sched_core_cpu_deactivate() moves the count to the new leader - a stale copy left behind would bias it forever if that CPU later returns as its own leader.

  • Sep 10, 2026Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to an authorization bypass (IDOR) because the frontend calendar lightbox endpoint (/ccm/calendar/view_event/{bID}/{ocCVE-2026-18121 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 6.3

Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to an authorization bypass (IDOR) because the frontend calendar lightbox endpoint (/ccm/calendar/view_event/{bID}/{occurrence_id}) does not verify that the caller is permitted to view the calendar that owns the requested event occurrence. The controller loads the occurrence directly from an attacker‑supplied, sequential identifier without confirming that it belongs to the calendar configured on the referenced block. An unauthenticated visitor who can render any public calendar block with lightbox properties enabled could therefore supply an arbitrary occurrence identifier and disclose event metadata — title, date, description, page link, and configured event attributes — from calendars they are not permitted to view. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks riodrwn for reporting.

  • Aug 26, 2026SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies.CVE-2026-54606 · Other software · JiHong88 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies. Prior to 3.1.4, the SunEditor Embed plugin in src/plugins/modal/embed.js parses attacker-controlled raw embed HTML with DOMParser and processes the resulting DOM nodes. When an external script element follows a valid iframe, the plugin recreates a script element from the attacker-controlled src attribute and appends it to the live DOM, causing JavaScript execution in the editor page. If an application stores or reflects SunEditor content without additional backend sanitization, an attacker who can submit embed HTML can trigger stored or reflected cross-site scripting when another user opens, previews, renders, or edits the content, enabling access to page data and account actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.4.

Nezha versions 1.14.13 through 1.14.14 and 2.0.0 through 2.0.9 do not bind stream identifiers created by CreateStream in service/rpc/io_stream.go to their creating user, and `GET /ws/terminal/:id` and `GET /ws/file/:id` only check whether the supplied UUID exists. • Aug 20, 2026Lightdash stores the webhook URL supplied with a scheduled delivery and later posts to it from sendWebhook in packages/backend/src/clients/GoogleChat/GoogleChatCVE-2026-72846 · Other software · lightdash · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3

Lightdash stores the webhook URL supplied with a scheduled delivery and later posts to it from sendWebhook in packages/backend/src/clients/GoogleChat/GoogleChatClient.ts and in packages/backend/src/clients/MicrosoftTeams/MicrosoftTeamsClient.ts. In affected versions both call fetch on the stored URL directly. The validatePublicHttpUrl helper in packages/backend/src/utils/ssrfProtection.ts, used for MCP server URLs, is not applied on either path, and the webhook fields carry no server-side URL constraint. A user able to create or trigger a scheduled delivery can therefore direct the server to issue POST requests to private, loopback and link-local addresses, including cloud metadata endpoints, and can distinguish reachable internal services from unreachable ones through the resulting errors. The upstream response is never returned to the requester; on a failure status its body is written to the server log instead. Version 1.146.4 routes both clients through postSchedulerWebhook from packages/backend/src/utils/schedulerWebhookValidation rather than calling fetch directly.

  • Aug 20, 2026A flaw was found in Lighthouse.CVE-2026-66788 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatCritical 9.9

A flaw was found in Lighthouse. A remote attacker, by compromising a spoke cluster, can exploit a vulnerability where the destination namespace for resource injection is derived from an attacker-controlled label or annotation on the broker object. This allows the attacker to inject unauthorized EndpointSlices and ServiceImports into any namespace on peer clusters, including critical system namespaces like kube-system and openshift-*. This could lead to privilege escalation or other forms of system compromise within the cluster.

A flaw was found in the lighthouse component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of advertised IP addresses within EndpointSlice objects. A compromised spoke cluster can exploit this by creating EndpointSlices with attacker-controlled IP addresses, causing other clusters' lighthouse DNS to redirect legitimate service traffic to malicious endpoints. This enables a remote attacker to conduct transparent Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on cross-cluster service communications, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure and data manipulation.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunrpc: wait for in-flight TLS handshake callback when cancel loses race When wait_for_completion_interruptible_timeout() in svc_tcp_handshake() returns 0 (timeout) or -ERESTARTSYS (signal) and tls_handshake_cancel() then returns false, handshake_complete() has won the cancellation race: it has set HANDSHAKE_F_REQ_COMPLETED and is about to invoke svc_tcp_handshake_done(), but the callback's side effects on xpt_flags and on svsk->sk_handshake_done have not yet committed. The current code reads xpt_flags immediately to decide whether the session succeeded. Two races result. If the callback has executed set_bit(XPT_TLS_SESSION) but not yet clear_bit(XPT_HANDSHAKE), svc_tcp_handshake() sees a session, enqueues the transport, and returns. svc_xprt_received() then clears XPT_BUSY, a worker thread picks the transport up, the dispatcher in svc_handle_xprt() observes XPT_HANDSHAKE still set, and xpo_handshake is invoked a second time. That svc_tcp_handshake() calls init_completion(&svsk->sk_handshake_done) while the original callback concurrently calls complete_all() on it, corrupting the embedded swait_queue. If the c

A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's external Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) authentication handling. When an LDAP referral is returned during authentication, the system does not properly escape the username input. • Aug 13, 2026Elasticsearch does not enforce an upper bound on a user-supplied count accepted by a search highlighting option, and the allocation derived from that count is nCVE-2026-72639 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coMedium 6.5

Elasticsearch does not enforce an upper bound on a user-supplied count accepted by a search highlighting option, and the allocation derived from that count is not accounted against any circuit breaker. An authenticated user holding only read privileges on a single searchable index can submit one small search request that causes the node to reserve an excessively large internal data structure. The allocation occurs before the existing highlighting safety limits are evaluated, so memory exhaustion raises a fatal error that terminates the Elasticsearch node process. This results in a denial of service for the affected node and degrades cluster routing and health. The defect is not volumetric and does not depend on the size of the indexed data, so a single request is sufficient.

  • Aug 12, 2026NortheBridge/luminalshine is a Sunshine-compatible game stream host for Moonlight.CVE-2026-50544 · Other software · NortheBridge · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

NortheBridge/luminalshine is a Sunshine-compatible game stream host for Moonlight. Prior to version 26.05.0-rc4, a latent gap exists on a default install, the file at `src/platform/windows/misc.cpp` lives at `C:\ProgramData\LuminalShine\config\apps.json` and is created by the `SYSTEM` service. Under Windows' default `C:\ProgramData` inheritance, that gives `BUILTIN\Users` only Read+Execute — not writable — so the canonical EoP doesn't actually trigger on a vanilla install. Version 26.05.0-rc4 contains a patch for the issue. As a workaround, use default condition DACLs for `ProgramData`.
