May 14, 2026Elixir WebRTC is an Elixir implementation of the W3C WebRTC API.CVE-2026-44700 · Other software · elixir-webrtc · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Elixir WebRTC is an Elixir implementation of the W3C WebRTC API. Prior to 0.15.1 and 0.16.1, missing DTLS peer certificate fingerprint validation in the DTLS client (active) role removes one side of WebRTC's mutual authentication. The bug is not independently exploitable for media interception in standard deployments, but enables a full man-in-the-middle attack when chained with insecure signalling or a peer with similar validation gaps. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.1 and 0.16.1.

May 14, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in plug_project plug allows denial of service via unbounded buffer accumulation in multipart CVE-2026-8468 · Other software · elixir-plug · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.2
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in plug_project plug allows denial of service via unbounded buffer accumulation in multipart header parsing. 'Elixir.Plug.Conn':read_part_headers/2 in lib/plug/conn.ex does not obey its :length parameter. There is no upper bound on the size of the accumulated buffer. By contrast, the sibling function read_part_body has an explicit byte_size(acc) > length guard that stops accumulation once a limit is reached. No such guard exists in read_part_headers. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exhaust server memory by sending a crafted multipart/form-data request, causing a denial of service. This issue affects plug from 1.4.0 before 1.15.4, 1.16.3, 1.17.1, 1.18.2, and 1.19.2.

May 12, 2026Lemur manages TLS certificate creation.CVE-2026-44305 · Other software · Netflix · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Lemur manages TLS certificate creation. Prior to 1.9.0, when LDAP TLS is enabled (LDAP_USE_TLS = True), Lemur's LDAP authentication module unconditionally disables TLS certificate verification at the global ldap module level. This allows a man-in-the-middle attacker positioned between Lemur and the LDAP server to intercept all authentication credentials. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.9.0.

May 12, 2026Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in elixir-ecto postgrex ('Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications' moduCVE-2026-32687 · Other software · elixir-ecto · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 7.5
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in elixir-ecto postgrex ('Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications' module) allows SQL Injection. The channel argument passed to 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':listen/3 and 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':unlisten/3 is interpolated directly into LISTEN "..." / UNLISTEN "..." SQL statements without escaping the " character. An attacker who can influence the channel name can inject a " to break out of the quoted identifier and append arbitrary SQL. Because the notifications connection uses the PostgreSQL simple query protocol, multi-statement payloads are accepted, allowing DDL and DML commands to be chained (e.g. ; DROP TABLE ...; --). The same unsanitized interpolation also occurs in handle_connect/1 when replaying LISTEN commands after a reconnect. This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/postgrex/notifications.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':listen/3, 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':unlisten/3, 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':handle_connect/1. May 4, 2026An issue was discovered in Nix before 2.34.7 and Lix before 2.95.2.CVE-2026-44028 · Other software · NixOS · reported by MITREHigh 7.5
An issue was discovered in Nix before 2.34.7 and Lix before 2.95.2. Unbounded recursion in the NAR (Nix Archive) parser could lead to a stack-to-heap overflow when the parser is run on a coroutine stack. The stack is allocated without a guard page, which means that a stack overflow could overwrite memory on the heap and could allow arbitrary code execution as the Nix daemon (run as root in multi-user installations) if ASLR hardening is bypassed. This can be exploited by all users able to connect to the daemon (e.g., in Nix, this is configurable via the allowed-users setting, defaulting to all users). The fixed versions are 2.34.7, 2.33.6, 2.32.8, 2.31.5, 2.30.5, 2.29.4, and 2.28.7 for Nix (introduced in 2.24.4); and 2.95.2, 2.94.2, and 2.93.4 for Lix (introduced in 2.93.0).

Apr 27, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-plug plug_cowboy allows unauthenticated remote denial of service via atom table exhCVE-2026-32688 · Other software · elixir-plug · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.7
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-plug plug_cowboy allows unauthenticated remote denial of service via atom table exhaustion. Plug.Cowboy.Conn.conn/1 in lib/plug/cowboy/conn.ex calls String.to_atom/1 on the value returned by :cowboy_req.scheme/1. For HTTP/2 connections, cowlib passes the client-supplied :scheme pseudo-header value through verbatim without validation. Each unique value permanently allocates a new entry in the BEAM atom table. Since atoms are never garbage-collected and the atom table has a fixed limit (default 1,048,576), an unauthenticated attacker can exhaust the table by sending HTTP/2 requests with unique :scheme values, causing the Erlang VM to abort with system_limit and taking down the entire node. This vulnerability does not affect HTTP/1.1, where cowboy derives the scheme from the listener type rather than from a client-supplied header. This issue affects plug_cowboy: from 2.0.0 before 2.8.1.

P4 Server versions prior to 2026.1 are configured with insecure default settings that, when exposed to untrusted networks, allow unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary user accounts, enumerate existing users, authenticate to accounts with no password set, and access depot contents via the built-in 'remote' user. Apr 2, 2026Ash Framework is a declarative, extensible framework for building Elixir applications.CVE-2026-34593 · Other software · ash-project · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Ash Framework is a declarative, extensible framework for building Elixir applications. Prior to version 3.22.0, Ash.Type.Module.cast_input/2 unconditionally creates a new Erlang atom via Module.concat([value]) for any user-supplied binary string that starts with "Elixir.", before verifying whether the referenced module exists. Because Erlang atoms are never garbage-collected and the BEAM atom table has a hard default limit of approximately 1,048,576 entries, an attacker who can submit values to any resource attribute or argument of type :module can exhaust this table and crash the entire BEAM VM, taking down the application. This issue has been patched in version 3.22.0.

Mar 27, 2026elixir-nodejs provides an Elixir API for calling Node.js functions.CVE-2026-33872 · Other software · revelrylabs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
elixir-nodejs provides an Elixir API for calling Node.js functions. A vulnerability in versions prior to 3.1.4 results in Cross-User Data Leakage or Information Disclosure due to a race condition in the worker protocol. The lack of request-response correlation creates a "stale response" vulnerability. Because the worker does not verify which request a response belongs to, it may return the next available data in the buffer to an unrelated caller. In high-throughput environments where the library processes sensitive user data (e.g., PII, authentication tokens, or private records), a timeout or high concurrent load can cause Data A (belonging to User A) to be returned to User B. This may lead to unauthorized information disclosure that is difficult to trace, as the application may not throw an error but instead provide "valid-looking" yet entirely incorrect and private data to the wrong session. The issue is fixed in v3.1.4.

Mar 5, 2026Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.Hexpm.Accounts.PasswordReset' module) allows Account Takeover.CVE-2026-21622 · Other software · hexpm · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9.5
Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.Hexpm.Accounts.PasswordReset' module) allows Account Takeover. Password reset tokens generated via the "Reset your password" flow do not expire. When a user requests a password reset, Hex sends an email containing a reset link with a token. This token remains valid indefinitely until used. There is no time-based expiration enforced. If a user's historical emails are exposed through a data breach (e.g., a leaked mailbox archive), any unused password reset email contained in that dataset could be used by an attacker to reset the victim's password. The attacker does not need current access to the victim's email account, only access to a previously leaked copy of the reset email. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/hexpm/accounts/password_reset.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Hexpm.Accounts.PasswordReset':can_reset?/3. Mar 5, 2026Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.HexpmWeb.API.OAuthController' module) allows Privilege Escalation.CVE-2026-21621 · Other software · hexpm · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 7
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.HexpmWeb.API.OAuthController' module) allows Privilege Escalation. An API key created with read-only permissions (domain: "api", resource: "read") can be escalated to full write access under specific conditions. When exchanging a read-only API key via the OAuth client_credentials grant, the resource qualifier is ignored. The resulting JWT receives the broad "api" scope instead of the expected "api:read" scope. This token is therefore treated as having full API access. If an attacker is able to obtain a victim's read-only API key and a valid 2FA (TOTP) code for the victim account, they can use the incorrectly scoped JWT to create a new full-access API key with unrestricted API permissions that does not expire by default and can perform write operations such as publishing, retiring, or modifying packages. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/hexpm_web/controllers/api/oauth_controller.ex and program routines 'Elixir.HexpmWeb.API.OAuthController':validate_scopes_against_key/2. Feb 24, 2026A vulnerability identified in the HX Agent driver file fekern.sys allowed a threat actor with local user access the ability to gain elevated system privileges.CVE-2025-14963 · Other software · Trellix · reported by trellixpsirt@trellix.comMedium 6.2
A vulnerability identified in the HX Agent driver file fekern.sys allowed a threat actor with local user access the ability to gain elevated system privileges. Utilization of a Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) was leveraged to gain access to the critical Windows process memory lsass.exe (Local Security Authority Subsystem Service). The fekern.sys is a driver file associated with the HX Agent (used in all existing HX Agent versions). The vulnerable driver installed in a product or a system running a fully functional HX Agent is, itself, not exploitable as the product’s tamper protection restricts the ability to communicate with the driver to only the Agent’s processes.

Jun 18, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: felix: suppress non-changes to the tagging protocol The way in which dsa_tree_chCVE-2022-50063 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: felix: suppress non-changes to the tagging protocol The way in which dsa_tree_change_tag_proto() works is that when dsa_tree_notify() fails, it doesn't know whether the operation failed mid way in a multi-switch tree, or it failed for a single-switch tree. So even though drivers need to fail cleanly in ds->ops->change_tag_protocol(), DSA will still call dsa_tree_notify() again, to restore the old tag protocol for potential switches in the tree where the change did succeeed (before failing for others). This means for the felix driver that if we report an error in felix_change_tag_protocol(), we'll get another call where proto_ops == old_proto_ops. If we proceed to act upon that, we may do unexpected things. For example, we will call dsa_tag_8021q_register() twice in a row, without any dsa_tag_8021q_unregister() in between. Then we will actually call dsa_tag_8021q_unregister() via old_proto_ops->teardown, which (if it manages to run at all, after walking through corrupted data structures) will leave the ports inoperational anyway. The bug can be readily reproduced if we force an error while in tag_8021q
