Jun 30, 2026A vulnerability was discovered in Keycloak's Admin UI extension that allows certain administrative users to bypass security restrictions.CVE-2026-14209 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4.3
A vulnerability was discovered in Keycloak's Admin UI extension that allows certain administrative users to bypass security restrictions. When Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAPv2) are enabled, an administrator who should only be able to search for users (but not view their full details) can use a specific "brute-force-user" endpoint to access a user's full profile. This includes sensitive information and security metadata. The issue occurs because the system fails to check if the administrator has the required "view" permission for that specific user when using this particular search path.

Jun 30, 2026A flaw was found in the Identity Provider (IdP) mapper component of Keycloak, which is used to manage how user information from external services is mapped to KCVE-2026-12388 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5
A flaw was found in the Identity Provider (IdP) mapper component of Keycloak, which is used to manage how user information from external services is mapped to Keycloak users. An administrator with limited permissions to manage identity providers can exploit this flaw by creating a "Hardcoded Role" mapper that assigns high-level administrative roles (like realm-admin) to themselves or others. This allows a restricted administrator to bypass security checks and gain full control over the entire realm.

Jun 25, 2026A flaw was found in org.keycloak.authorization.CVE-2026-9799 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4.6
A flaw was found in org.keycloak.authorization. An authenticated user with a granted User-Managed Access (UMA) permission ticket for one resource can exploit this by using a specific permission request prefix to bypass per-resource access control. This allows the user to gain unauthorized access to all resources of that type within the same resource server, even if they do not have a ticket for those specific resources. This vulnerability requires the resource server to be configured in PERMISSIVE policy enforcement mode and affects typed resources with ownerManagedAccess enabled, where no explicit policy protects the resource type. The primary consequence is unauthorized information disclosure or modification of resources.

Jun 25, 2026A flaw was found in Keycloak.CVE-2026-9099 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.7
A flaw was found in Keycloak. A missing authorization check in the GroupResource.addChild() endpoint within the Admin REST API allows an authenticated user with limited administrative privileges to reparent any existing group. When Fine-Grained Admin Permissions v2 (FGAPv2) is enabled, an attacker with management rights over a single low-privilege group can reparent a highly privileged group (such as one possessing the realm-admin role) under their managed group. Because group permissions follow a hierarchical structure, this action unauthorizedly grants the attacker management and password-reset capabilities over the members of the targeted privileged group. An attacker can exploit this to reset an administrator's password, compromise the account, and achieve a full realm takeover, leading to a complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Jun 25, 2026A flaw was found in Keycloak.CVE-2026-9086 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.3
A flaw was found in Keycloak. A remote attacker with administrative privileges, specifically those with `manage-client` permission or access to client registration endpoints, could bypass client Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) validation. This is achieved by registering a malicious client with a specially crafted redirect URI using a case-insensitive `javascript:` or `data:` scheme. This Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability allows for arbitrary code execution in the Keycloak origin when a victim clicks the crafted link, such as in the logout flow or the Admin Console.

Jun 5, 2026UDS Identity Config builds the Keycloak configuration image (realm, plugins, theme, truststore, JARs) consumed by UDS Core's Identity deployment.CVE-2026-46389 · Other software · defenseunicorns · reported by GitHubCritical 10
UDS Identity Config builds the Keycloak configuration image (realm, plugins, theme, truststore, JARs) consumed by UDS Core's Identity deployment. In versions 0.11.0 through 0.26.0, a logic error in the `client-kubernetes-secret` Keycloak client authenticator (shipped by `uds-identity-config` and consumed by UDS Core) causes the submitted `client_secret` to be overwritten with the mounted Kubernetes secret before comparison. An attacker who can reach the Keycloak token endpoint and knows a `client_id` using this authenticator can authenticate as that client with any `client_secret` value and obtain OAuth2 tokens scoped to the client's service account. In the case of the `uds-operator` client this token can be used to registry/modify other clients. Version 0.26.1 patches the issue.

May 19, 2026A session fixation vulnerability was found in Keycloak's login-actions endpoints.CVE-2026-7507 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5
A session fixation vulnerability was found in Keycloak's login-actions endpoints. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this flaw by pre-creating an authentication session and tricking a victim into visiting a maliciously crafted link. By leveraging the /login-actions/restart endpoint—which processes session handles without adequate CSRF protection or cookie ownership validation—an attacker can reset the authentication flow state. This causes Single Sign-On (SSO) to authenticate the victim transparently upon clicking the link, allowing the attacker to hijack the required-action form without needing the victim's credentials. A successful exploit could lead to complete account takeover, including highly privileged administrative accounts.

May 19, 2026A flaw was found in Keycloak's URL validation logic during redirect operations.CVE-2026-7504 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.1
A flaw was found in Keycloak's URL validation logic during redirect operations. By crafting a malicious request, an attacker could bypass validation to redirect users to unauthorized URLs, potentially leading to the exposure of sensitive information within the domain or facilitating further attacks. This vulnerability specifically affects Keycloak clients configured with a wildcard (*) in the "Valid Redirect URIs" field and requires user interaction to be successfully exploited. The issue stems from a discrepancy in how Keycloak and the underlying Java URI implementation handle the user-info component of a URL. If a malicious redirect URL is constructed using multiple @ characters in the user-info section, Java's URI parser fails to extract the user-info, leaving only the raw authority field. Consequently, Keycloak's validation check fails to detect the malformed user-info, falls back to a wildcard comparison, and incorrectly permits the malicious redirect.

Apr 30, 2026When Keycloak is started with `--features-disabled=account,account-api`, the Account REST API is only partially disabled.CVE-2026-7500 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.4
When Keycloak is started with `--features-disabled=account,account-api`, the Account REST API is only partially disabled. Five endpoints under the versioned path `/account/v1alpha1` remain fully functional — including both read and write operations — because they lack the `checkAccountApiEnabled()` gate that correctly blocks four other endpoints in the same REST service class. The user needs to have permissions to use the API.

Apr 18, 2026The Keycloak authentication manager in `apache-airflow-providers-keycloak` did not generate or validate the OAuth 2.0 `state` parameter on the login / login-calCVE-2026-40948 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.4
The Keycloak authentication manager in `apache-airflow-providers-keycloak` did not generate or validate the OAuth 2.0 `state` parameter on the login / login-callback flow, and did not use PKCE. An attacker with a Keycloak account in the same realm could deliver a crafted callback URL to a victim's browser and cause the victim to be logged into the attacker's Airflow session (login-CSRF / session fixation), where any credentials the victim subsequently stored in Airflow Connections would be harvestable by the attacker. Users are advised to upgrade `apache-airflow-providers-keycloak` to 0.7.0 or later.

Apr 14, 2026A flaw was found in Keycloak, specifically in the organization selection login page.CVE-2026-37980 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.9
A flaw was found in Keycloak, specifically in the organization selection login page. A remote attacker with `manage-realm` or `manage-organizations` administrative privileges can exploit a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This flaw occurs because the `organization.alias` is placed into an inline JavaScript `onclick` handler, allowing a crafted JavaScript payload to execute in a user's browser when they view the login page. Successful exploitation enables arbitrary JavaScript execution, potentially leading to session theft, unauthorized account actions, or further attacks against users of the affected realm.

Apr 6, 2026A flaw was found in Keycloak.CVE-2026-37977 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatLow 3.7
A flaw was found in Keycloak. A remote attacker can exploit a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) header injection vulnerability in Keycloak's User-Managed Access (UMA) token endpoint. This flaw occurs because the `azp` claim from a client-supplied JSON Web Token (JWT) is used to set the `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` header before the JWT signature is validated. When a specially crafted JWT with an attacker-controlled `azp` value is processed, this value is reflected as the CORS origin, even if the grant is later rejected. This can lead to the exposure of low-sensitivity information from authorization server error responses, weakening origin isolation, but only when a target client is misconfigured with `webOrigins: ["*"]`.

Apr 2, 2026A flaw was found in Keycloak.CVE-2026-4636 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.1
A flaw was found in Keycloak. An authenticated user with the uma_protection role can bypass User-Managed Access (UMA) policy validation. This allows the attacker to include resource identifiers owned by other users in a policy creation request, even if the URL path specifies an attacker-owned resource. Consequently, the attacker gains unauthorized permissions to victim-owned resources, enabling them to obtain a Requesting Party Token (RPT) and access sensitive information or perform unauthorized actions.

Apr 2, 2026A flaw was found in Keycloak.CVE-2026-4634 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5
A flaw was found in Keycloak. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted POST request with an excessively long scope parameter to the OpenID Connect (OIDC) token endpoint. This leads to high resource consumption and prolonged processing times, ultimately resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the Keycloak server.

Mar 26, 2026A flaw was found in Keycloak.CVE-2026-3190 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4.3
A flaw was found in Keycloak. The User-Managed Access (UMA) 2.0 Protection API endpoint for permission tickets fails to enforce the `uma_protection` role check. This allows any authenticated user with a token issued for a resource server client, even without the `uma_protection` role, to enumerate all permission tickets in the system.
