Sep 24, 2026ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform.CVE-2026-85057 · Other software · zitadel · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform. From 3.0.0 until 3.4.13 and 4.16.1, ZITADEL Actions V1 enables the goja Node-compatible require() registry without restricting its filesystem source loader. An organization Action author with ORG_OWNER, org.action.write, and org.flow.write permissions can run JavaScript at OIDC, SAML, and login-flow trigger points and load files readable by the ZITADEL server process. This can disclose mounted configuration and secrets, including credentials stored through ZITADEL_FIRSTINSTANCE_LOGINCLIENTPATPATH or ZITADEL_FIRSTINSTANCE_MACHINEKEYPATH, and recovered bootstrap credentials can enable escalation from an organization administrator to an instance administrator. The issue affects Actions V1, and host command execution is not established. This issue is fixed in versions 3.4.13 and 4.16.1.

Sep 24, 2026ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform.CVE-2026-85056 · Other software · zitadel · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform. From 4.0.0 until 4.16.1, ZITADEL Login V2 creates a browser session after password verification and can reuse that session for a later authentication request without verifying a user's enrolled TOTP, OTP, or U2F second factor. When the MFA step is abandoned and login starts again, session-validity checks require MFA only when the organization enables Force MFA or Force MFA for local users only, so a voluntarily enrolled factor can be skipped while completing an OIDC or SAML callback for a customer application. Login V1, the ZITADEL Console, Management and Admin APIs, and user self-management are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.16.1.

Sep 24, 2026authentik is an open-source identity provider.CVE-2026-94613 · Other software · goauthentik · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2, an unauthenticated attacker can submit a malformed SAML message to an authentik deployment using SAML in either the identity-provider or SAML source role. The message can stop the worker handling /application/saml/* or /source/saml/*, causing the requests assigned to that worker to fail. Worker process termination and automatic restart do not destroy database-backed sessions, but continued malicious messages can cause a sustained share of legitimate traffic to fail. Other protocol implementations are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2.

Sep 24, 2026authentik is an open-source identity provider.CVE-2026-94612 · Other software · goauthentik · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2, an authentik SAML Source verifies an assertion's signature and validity period but does not ensure that the identity provider issued the assertion for that Source or in response to a login request from that Source. The SAML Source also does not record already accepted assertions, allowing replay. An unauthenticated actor who possesses such a valid assertion can use an assertion intended for another service provider or reuse an earlier assertion to authenticate as the user named by the assertion. Only SAML Sources are affected; SAML Providers and other Source types are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2.

Sep 24, 2026authentik is an open-source identity provider.CVE-2026-94611 · Other software · goauthentik · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2, authentik API serializers return stored credentials when an account has view permission on an affected configuration, even when that account is not authorized to change the configuration or read its secrets. Affected configurations include one-time code delivery by mail or SMS, outbound provisioning targets, device trust integrations, identity sources, the Kubernetes outpost integration, applications using a client or shared secret, and applications using a proxy provider. Deployments are affected when view permission is granted to accounts that are not intended to read these credentials; deployments where every viewer is permitted to read them are not affected. Sep 24, 2026authentik is an open-source identity provider.CVE-2026-94609 · Other software · goauthentik · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2, an account with delegated permission to manage a group, group membership, or a user can grant superuser status to an account or assign an existing role to a group without holding the permissions that gate those privileges. Group hierarchy checks do not consistently account for superuser status inherited from ancestor groups, and role assignment to a group lacks the required authorization check. Only deployments that delegate these management capabilities to accounts that are not full administrators are affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2.

Sep 24, 2026authentik is an open-source identity provider.CVE-2026-94606 · Other software · goauthentik · reported by GitHubHigh 8.9
authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2, authentik email authenticator enrollment during an authentication or enrollment flow accepts a recipient address supplied in the setup request instead of using the address already established by the flow. An actor who knows a target user's password can substitute an attacker-controlled address, receive the one-time code, and finish enrolling the factor as the target. The target must not have enrolled the email factor already. Successful enrollment gives the actor a session as the target and access to single sign-on applications behind the account. Other authenticator types are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2.

Sep 24, 2026A flaw was found in the Admin REST API of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution.CVE-2026-97311 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4.3
A flaw was found in the Admin REST API of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The endpoints used to retrieve groups associated with a specific role do not properly check for individual group visibility permissions. This allows a delegated administrator with basic search privileges to view detailed information about all groups assigned to a role, bypassing intended security restrictions that should limit their view to specific groups.

Sep 24, 2026A flaw was found in the Level of Authentication enforcement mechanism of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution.CVE-2026-97176 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4.2
A flaw was found in the Level of Authentication enforcement mechanism of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when a client specifically requires a higher security level for a user who already has an active session at a lower level. Due to a logic error in how session re-evaluations are handled, Keycloak may incorrectly issue a token at the lower security level instead of enforcing the required higher level, potentially allowing unauthorized access to sensitive resources that rely on these security claims.

Sep 23, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-77285 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubLow 2.4
OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.6.0, OpenBao Agent's exec rendering mode could write secrets from env_template to standard output when command/agent/exec/exec.go re-created the template runner after repeated rendering failures, primarily after num_retries was reached. A process supervisor, log collector, or local user able to read that output could obtain the rendered secret values. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.6.0, OpenBao's handleLogicalRecovery path in http/logical.go compared the highly privileged recovery token with ordinary string equality. A remote unauthenticated attacker able to make repeated recovery mode requests and measure response timing could infer the recovery token. The recovered token could then authorize recovery mode operations that read or modify OpenBao data. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.

Sep 23, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-63131 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubMedium 6
OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.6.0, OpenBao's vault/policy/acl.go could evaluate a broader wildcard ACL grant before more-specific trailing-wildcard ACL paths with capabilities = ["deny"] for a LIST operation. When a parent path permitted LIST and a child path was denied, the trailing-slash lookup could therefore allow listing the denied path. A flaw was found in the Conditional OTP authenticator of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when the system evaluates specific HTTP headers to determine if a one-time password (OTP) should be skipped, but fails to verify if those headers came from a trusted source. This could allow an attacker who already has a user's password to bypass the second-factor authentication by providing a specially crafted header in their request.

Sep 22, 2026Forward-reference completion for @JsonIdentityInfo object IDs in FasterXML jackson-databind performs a linear scan of the pending-reference accumulator for everCVE-2026-91777 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5
Forward-reference completion for @JsonIdentityInfo object IDs in FasterXML jackson-databind performs a linear scan of the pending-reference accumulator for every resolved ID. The affected paths are CollectionDeserializer.CollectionReferringAccumulator.resolveForwardReference() and the equivalent implementation in MapDeserializer. When a document first creates N unresolved object-ID references in an identity-enabled collection or map and then defines those same IDs in reverse order, completion performs on the order of N * (N + 1) / 2 identity comparisons, so a shallow document whose size grows linearly causes quadratic CPU work during deserialization. The reporter instrumented equals() calls on the ID class and measured exactly 2,003,000 comparisons at N = 2,000, against zero comparisons in the pending-reference lookup path for an equally sized control in which every reference was already resolved. The input requires no deep nesting and no syntactically unusual JSON. Exploitation requires an application that deserializes attacker-influenced JSON into an identity-enabled collection or map. The fix replaces the repeated linear lookup with a keyed pending-reference structure.

Sep 22, 2026A flaw was found in the Kerberos federation provider of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution.CVE-2026-95503 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.8
A flaw was found in the Kerberos federation provider of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. When Kerberos password authentication is used without SPNEGO, the system fails to verify the identity of the Key Distribution Center (KDC) by requesting a server ticket. This allows an attacker on the same network to spoof the KDC and bypass the authentication process, potentially gaining unauthorized access to user accounts.

Sep 21, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-71543 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.6.0, templated ACL, PKI, and SSH policies could substitute attacker-controlled identity data without rejecting syntax-significant characters. In ACL templated policies, asterisks, plus signs, and slashes could alter path matching. In PKI allowed_uri_sans_template and allowed_domains policies, an asterisk could broaden certificate issuance to unauthorized domains. In SSH allowed_users and allowed_domains policies, a comma could add unauthorized principals. Exploitation requires a deployment to use templated policy data that users can freely modify; templates based on the randomly generated identity.entity.id value are not affected. This could allow privilege escalation, unauthorized access, and unauthorized certificate issuance. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.

Sep 21, 2026A flaw was found in the authentication session management of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution.CVE-2026-94218 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatLow 3.1
A flaw was found in the authentication session management of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when an administrator enforces a stronger authentication flow, such as mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) setup, through a client policy. A user can bypass this requirement by manually visiting a specific session restart web link during the login process. This action clears the internal markers that track the required security steps, allowing the user to log in with only a password and gain access without completing the mandated 2FA setup.

A flaw was found in the Admin REST API of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs because the API uses a per-request in-memory cache to resolve clients by their unique identifier without verifying if the client belongs to the realm specified in the request path. This allows an administrator with limited privileges to read or modify sensitive client configurations in the master realm by accessing them through a realm they control. Successful exploitation could lead to the exposure of client credentials or the redirection of administrative login attempts to malicious sites.

Sep 17, 2026Pomerium is an identity and context-aware access proxy.CVE-2026-50285 · Other software · pomerium · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Pomerium is an identity and context-aware access proxy. Prior to 0.32.8, decodeQueryStringV2 in pkg/hpke/url.go performs zstd decompression of attacker-controlled data without an output-memory limit when DecryptURLValues processes HPKE V2 values for Stateless.Callback in internal/authenticateflow/stateless.go. In hosted or stateless authentication deployments, an unauthenticated attacker can obtain the receiver key from /.well-known/pomerium/hpke-public-key, provide a matching attacker-controlled sender key, and send a compressed payload to /.pomerium/callback that expands before validateSenderPublicKey rejects the sender. This can allocate hundreds of megabytes per request, exhaust proxy memory, crash or degrade the process, and block access to applications protected by the deployment. Stateful deployments are not affected because the stateful callback verifies its HMAC signature before decryption and decompression. This issue is fixed in version 0.32.8.

Sep 17, 2026Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in team-alembic ash_authentication allows an attacker who operates one identity-provider connection of a dynamicCVE-2026-91039 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9.1
Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in team-alembic ash_authentication allows an attacker who operates one identity-provider connection of a dynamic_oidc strategy to be signed in as a local user established through a different connection. The strategy is meant to keep each connection in its own identity namespace by writing every UserIdentity row's strategy field as "<name>/<connection_id>", but that namespacing never takes effect. __connection_id__ is populated only on the ephemeral runtime struct built per request in dynamic_oidc/plug.ex, and DynamicOidc.IdentityChange.change/3 re-fetches the strategy from the compile-time DSL through Info.strategy_for_action, yielding the persisted struct whose __connection_id__ is its defstruct default of nil. OAuth2.identity_strategy_name/1 therefore falls back to the bare strategy name for both the identity write and the reads in oauth2/user_resolver.ex and oauth2/sign_in_preparation.ex. Since the identity resource's unique key is (uid, strategy), one row exists per sub across every connection, and the identity-match branch runs before any email check. Neither strategy handles iss, so nothing else distinguishes the issuers: OpenI

Sep 17, 2026pgAdmin 4's Webserver authentication source is intended to accept an identity asserted by the web server or reverse proxy in front of pgAdmin, delivered throughCVE-2026-86863 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Critical 9.3
pgAdmin 4's Webserver authentication source is intended to accept an identity asserted by the web server or reverse proxy in front of pgAdmin, delivered through the WSGI/CGI environment. WebserverAuthentication.get_user() read config.WEBSERVER_REMOTE_USER from request.environ and, when that returned nothing, fell back to reading the same name directly from the inbound HTTP request headers via request.headers.get(). An inbound HTTP header is written by whoever sends the request, so any client able to reach pgAdmin could supply that header itself and be authenticated as any username it named, including an existing Administrator, without presenting a password or any other credential. The environment lookup could also be satisfied by a client-supplied header whenever WEBSERVER_REMOTE_USER was configured to an HTTP_-prefixed or hyphenated name such as HTTP_X_FORWARDED_USER or X-Forwarded-User, since WSGI servers place inbound headers into the environment under exactly those names. Deployments are affected only when 'webserver' is enabled in AUTHENTICATION_SOURCES. The fix distinguishes a genuine CGI/WSGI variable from a header-derived one and implicitly trusts only the former. Sep 17, 2026Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker to be signed in as another user by linking an OAuth2 identity to an aCVE-2026-88952 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9.1
Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker to be signed in as another user by linking an OAuth2 identity to an account that is not theirs. AshAuthentication.Strategy.OAuth2.UserResolver.resolve/3 matches an existing account using the register action's upsert_identity keys, then gates linking the incoming provider identity to it on email_trusted?/2, which reads only the provider's email_verified boolean and never compares the provider's email value with the matched account's email. That gate assumes the account was matched by its email field, so under any other upsert_identity it is vacuous and an attacker presenting their own verified email is attached to, and issued a session for, an account matched on some other attribute. The same unguarded gate applies in OAuth2.SignInPreparation on the registration_enabled? false path, where the account is matched by the sign-in action's read filter instead. The upsert also rewrites the matched account's email to the attacker's address, so later account recovery reaches the attacker rather than the owner. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.14.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.10 befo

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
