  • Jun 29, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first.CVE-2026-55844 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2025.5.0, The iOS companion app ignores the SSID allowlist for internal networks. The app uses SSID to detect when to use the internal URL, but whenever the app cannot find any other URL to be used, it fallbacks to the internal URL as well, which can expose user's token when connected to a not secure network. This vulnerability is fixed in 2025.5.0.

  • Jun 23, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first.CVE-2026-54318 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2026.5.3, the LocationSensorManager BroadcastReceiver is exported with no permission. Any installed app, with zero runtime permissions, can broadcast a forged Google Play Services LocationResult directly to it; the receiver trusts the extra and forwards it to the user's Home Assistant server as the device's real location. This bypasses Android's developer-mode "Mock Location" gate and allows a local malicious app to drive zone-based automations (unlock door / disarm alarm / open garage) by faking the user's GPS position. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.5.3.

  • Jun 23, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first.CVE-2026-54317 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6

Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2026.6.0, the Konnected integration registers an HTTP endpoint, KonnectedView (homeassistant/components/konnected/__init__.py), that is marked as not requiring authentication (requires_auth = False). A comment next to that line says auth is instead handled "via the access token from configuration." That promise is only half true. Write requests (POST and PUT) are handled by update_sensor(), which does check the request's Authorization: Bearer <token> header against the integration's stored access tokens (using hmac.compare_digest). Read requests (GET) are handled by a separate get() method that has no authentication check at all. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.6.0.

  • Jun 17, 2026Runtipi is a personal homeserver orchestrator.CVE-2026-47277 · Other software · runtipi · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Runtipi is a personal homeserver orchestrator. In versions 4.9.1 through 4.9.3, Runtipi serves marketplace app logos from files inside cloned app-store repositories through an unauthenticated endpoint, which leads to arbitrary file read through app-store logo symlinks. The path guard checks only the lexical path before Node reads the file, so a Git app store that contains metadata/logo.jpg as a symbolic link can cause Runtipi to read and return the symlink target. Because the endpoint is public and the symlink target may point outside the cloned repository, this can expose local files from the Runtipi container such as /data/.env, /data/state/seed, logs, or application files. This can disclose JWT secrets, service credentials, local configuration, and operational logs depending on the instance. The issue has been fixed in version 4.10.0.

  • May 29, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first.CVE-2026-44698 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2026.4.1 for iOS and 2026.4.4 for Android, he Home Assistant Companion apps for Android and iOS expose a JavaScript bridge to the in-app WebView window.externalApp on Android and webkit.messageHandlers.getExternalAuth (alongside revokeExternalAuth and externalBus) on iOS. Two flaws expose the bridge to all frames (including cross-origin iframes) and unsanitized interpolation of the JavaScript callback identifier allows a cross-origin iframe rendered inside the Companion app to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the Home Assistant frontend's main-frame origin and exfiltrate the signed-in user's access token. • Apr 17, 2026HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system.CVE-2026-40196 · Other software · sysadminsmedia · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system. Versions prior to 0.25.0 contain a vulnerability where the defaultGroup ID remained permanently assigned to a user after being invited to a group, even after their access to that group was revoked. While the web interface correctly enforced the access revocation and prevented the user from viewing or modifying the group's contents, the API did not. Because the original group ID persisted as the user's defaultGroup, and this value was not properly validated when the X-Tenant header was omitted, the user could still perform full CRUD operations on the group's collections through the API, bypassing the intended access controls. This issue has been fixed in version 0.25.0.

A DLL search order hijacking vulnerability in Thermalright TR-VISION HOME on Windows (64-bit) allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via DLL side-loading. The application loads certain dynamic-link library (DLL) dependencies using the default Windows search order, which includes directories that may be writable by non-privileged users.\n\n\n\nBecause these directories can be modified by unprivileged users, an attacker can place a malicious DLL with the same name as a legitimate dependency in a directory that is searched before trusted system locations. When the application is executed, which is always with administrative privileges, the malicious DLL is loaded instead of the legitimate library.\n\n\n\nThe application does not enforce restrictions on DLL loading locations and does not verify the integrity or digital signature of loaded libraries. As a result, attacker-controlled code may be executed within the security context of the application, allowing arbitrary code execution with elevated privileges.\n\n\n\nSuccessful exploitation requires that an attacker place a crafted malicious DLL in a user-writable directory that is included in the application's DLL search path an

  • Mar 16, 2026Runtipi is a personal homeserver orchestrator.CVE-2026-32729 · Other software · runtipi · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

Runtipi is a personal homeserver orchestrator. Prior to 4.8.1, The Runtipi /api/auth/verify-totp endpoint does not enforce any rate limiting, attempt counting, or account lockout mechanism. An attacker who has obtained a user's valid credentials (via phishing, credential stuffing, or data breach) can brute-force the 6-digit TOTP code to completely bypass two-factor authentication. The TOTP verification session persists for 24 hours (default cache TTL), providing an excessive window during which the full 1,000,000-code keyspace (000000–999999) can be exhausted. At practical request rates (~500 req/s), the attack completes in approximately 33 minutes in the worst case. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.8.1.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
