Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56728 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, a broken access control vulnerability exists in Zammad's GraphQL API. An authenticated user can access taskbar item data belonging to another user by crafting a request with the target user's taskbar identifier. The taskbar feature stores transient state for active user sessions, including auto-saved ticket drafts. Under certain conditions, the authorization check for taskbar item access is not enforced, allowing a user to read another user's taskbar item data. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56727 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, summary In Zammad's inbound PGP email processing, the return value of the gpg verification call was silently discarded. Regardless of whether gpg reported a valid, invalid, or missing signature, the handler unconditionally wrote sign: { success: true, comment: "Good signature" } to the article's security preferences. Impact Any sender could tamper with the body of a multipart/signed PGP email, or craft a message with an entirely fabricated or mismatched signature, and Zammad would display it to the recipient as cryptographically verified with a "Good signature" label. Users and agents relying on Zammad's signature indicator to confirm message authenticity and integrity would be misled into trusting modified or forged content. The vulnerability affects all inbound PGP-signed emails processed while the PGP integration is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56726 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, this vulnerability breaks normal ticket isolation boundaries between agents. Any authenticated agent, even one with no active tickets assigned to them, can view the titles, status, labels, and URL links of GitHub/GitLab issues attached to any ticket in the system. This allows an internal user to systematically view GitHub/GitLab issue data linked by other agents or administrators across the organization by simply querying random or sequential ticket IDs. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56725 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, summary An unauthenticated request to POST /api/v1/import/otrs/import_check blocks a Zammad request worker for roughly two minutes. The import_check and import_status actions are missing the setup_done_response guard that other actions in the same controller carry, so they execute on fully set-up production instances. The action enters a retry loop against a blank OTRS endpoint, sleeping for 30 s + 45 s between attempts. Impact An unauthenticated remote attacker denies service to a production Zammad instance. Each request costs almost nothing and forces ~115 seconds of server-side blocking. A few requests per second saturate the Puma worker pool. The condition persists as long as the traffic continues. No account, valid import configuration, or target knowledge beyond the hostname is needed. CSRF token is trivially obtained from any prior GET response. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.2.

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, when multiple KB categories have different editor roles assigned, a user with knowledge_base.editor in one category can see answer titles and updated_at timestamps from categories they do not have editor access to , via the global quick search. Category names are not leaked, and opening the answer returns "Page not found," but the title alone may disclose sensitive information. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56723 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, a customer who can view a ticket cannot see internal ticket articles through the article listing API. However, the same customer can directly request an attachment belonging to an internal article via the attachment download endpoint, bypassing article-level authorization. This results in an inconsistency: The article listing hides internal articles from customers. The attachment download only checks the parent ticket, not the article, so the same customer can download the attachment directly. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Improper Exposure of Resource to Wrong Sphere in the host file helper (gofer) in Google gVisor prior to commit 573a9e73cf844f on Linux platforms with CUSE enablCVE-2026-96812 · Computers, phones & browsers · Google · reported by cve-coordination@google.comHigh 8.8
Improper Exposure of Resource to Wrong Sphere in the host file helper (gofer) in Google gVisor prior to commit 573a9e73cf844f on Linux platforms with CUSE enabled allows a local attacker with container image deployment privileges to achieve root code execution on the host system. By including a /dev/cuse character device node in a container image, opening the device passes through to the host, allowing the sandboxed attacker to register a host device and exploit CUSE unrestricted ioctl handling to overwrite root udev helper memory.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Mark syscall helpers as sleepable bpf_sys_bpf() executes the bpf(2) syscall body, whiCVE-2026-98058 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Mark syscall helpers as sleepable bpf_sys_bpf() executes the bpf(2) syscall body, which can take mutexes, allocate with GFP_KERNEL, and wait for an RCU grace period. bpf_sys_close() reaches close_fd() and filp_close(), which can sleep as well. Both helpers are limited to BPF_PROG_TYPE_SYSCALL, whose main program is sleepable. That does not make every callback sleepable: a syscall program can register a bpf_timer callback, and the verifier checks that callback in a non-sleepable context while retaining the syscall helper set. Without .might_sleep on the prototypes, such a callback can invoke bpf_sys_bpf() from hrtimer softirq context and trigger a scheduling-while-atomic failure. bpf_sys_close() is exposed through the same missing context check. Set .might_sleep on both prototypes so the existing helper-context check rejects them from timer callbacks and other atomic regions. Calls from the sleepable main body remain valid.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Mark faultable stack helpers as sleepable The faultable variants of bpf_get_stack() aCVE-2026-98045 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Mark faultable stack helpers as sleepable The faultable variants of bpf_get_stack() and bpf_get_task_stack() pass may_fault=true into the common stack collection code. Resolving user-space build IDs may then call build_id_parse_file() and block on filesystem reads. Neither helper prototype sets might_sleep. Since prototype selection uses the sleepability of the whole program, the verifier can still allow these helpers from a non-sleepable region within that program, such as an explicit RCU or preemption-disabled region. The task-stack helper can also be called from a non-sleepable timer callback of a sleepable program. Mark both faultable prototypes as sleepable. The existing helper context check then rejects these calls while continuing to allow them in genuinely sleepable contexts.

Sep 23, 2026In Flatpak before 1.18.1, the revokefs writer, used by the flatpak-system-helper to receive repository data from unprivileged callers, validated file paths by rCVE-2026-96808 · Other software · Flatpak · reported by MITREHigh 7.4
In Flatpak before 1.18.1, the revokefs writer, used by the flatpak-system-helper to receive repository data from unprivileged callers, validated file paths by rejecting literal .. components but did not prevent symlink traversal. A malicious local user in an active local session could obtain two revokefs sessions via the system helper, create a symlink in one session pointing into the other session's directory, and retain a file descriptor through that symlink. This allowed the attacker to modify files belonging to a different revokefs session after they had been validated and imported by the system helper. In particular, an attacker could use this to tamper with ostree commit objects in the system repository after they passed signature verification, enabling root-controlled file writes to attacker-chosen paths and local root privilege escalation.

Sep 23, 2026InvoiceShelf is an open-source web & mobile app that helps track expenses, payments and create professional invoices and estimates.CVE-2026-55610 · Other software · InvoiceShelf · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
InvoiceShelf is an open-source web & mobile app that helps track expenses, payments and create professional invoices and estimates. Prior to version 2.4.1, in InvoiceShelf's multi-company installations, any user who is an Owner of one company can read and overwrite any user account in any other company on the same installation. `GET/PUT /api/v1/users/{user}` resolves the target `User` by global primary key, and `UserPolicy` checks only that the requester owns their own header-company — it never verifies that the target user belongs to that company. This allows cross-tenant disclosure of user data and full account takeover (email/password overwrite + company re-assignment). Version 2.4.1 fixes the issue.

Sep 22, 2026The findOrgImage method in MISP's OrgImgHelper constructs a filesystem path by concatenating a user-supplied organization identifier with a fixed image directorCVE-2026-95698 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3
The findOrgImage method in MISP's OrgImgHelper constructs a filesystem path by concatenating a user-supplied organization identifier with a fixed image directory and a file extension, then calls file_exists() on the resulting path. The organization name field is attacker-controllable through event import, which sets Org.name. Because no validation was performed on the field value before path construction, an organization name containing directory traversal sequences (e.g., ../../etc/passwd) would cause the path to resolve outside the intended org-image directory. This yields two security impacts: - an arbitrary file existence oracle, since file_exists() returns a boolean for any path the process can access. - an arbitrary file read limited to files with .png or .svg extensions, because the resolved filename is returned and subsequently rendered or served to the requesting user. The vulnerability requires an authenticated user with the ability to create or import events that set the organization name.

Sep 17, 2026Metacat is data repository software that helps researchers preserve, share, and discover data.CVE-2026-50022 · Other software · NCEAS · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8
Metacat is data repository software that helps researchers preserve, share, and discover data. Prior to 3.4.2, MetacatSolrIndex.query forwards the client-controlled qt parameter through Apache SolrJ from search endpoints such as /d1/mn/v2/query/solr/ to its privileged Solr backend. An unauthenticated client can select the /admin/file handler, and SolrJ reformats the parameter into a request accepted even when handleSelect=false is configured on Solr 7.0 or later. When Solr returns the selected core configuration file, Metacat embeds the raw content in an XML processing error response, disclosing internal files such as solrconfig.xml and enabling infrastructure profiling. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.2.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject programs with inlined helpers if JIT is not available When an architecture (suCVE-2026-93135 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject programs with inlined helpers if JIT is not available When an architecture (such as LoongArch, ARM64, and RISC-V) implements bpf_jit_inlines_helper_call(), the verifier skips rewriting the helper call offset (insn->imm) in bpf_do_misc_fixups(). This is because the helper is expected to be inlined by the JIT compiler later. Therefore, insn->imm remains as the raw helper enum ID. However, if JIT is disabled at runtime (net.core.bpf_jit_enable=0) or if JIT compilation fails dynamically (e.g., due to OOM), the program falls back to the BPF interpreter. When the interpreter executes (__bpf_call_base + insn->imm) with the unpatched raw ID, it jumps into an invalid address space, triggering an instruction alignment fault or a kernel panic. Although these helpers have valid C implementations in the kernel, the omission of offset rewriting makes runtime interpreter fallback fatal. Fix this by setting 'prog->jit_required = 1' when helper call rewriting is skipped for JIT inlining. This ensures that such programs are safely rejected if JIT is not available, preventing the runtime kernel panic.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpu: host1x: Avoid stack over-read in debug output helpers host1x_debug_output() and host1CVE-2026-93061 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpu: host1x: Avoid stack over-read in debug output helpers host1x_debug_output() and host1x_debug_cont() used vsnprintf(), which returns the length the formatted string would have reached with an unbounded buffer. That return value was passed straight to o->fn as the number of bytes to emit. This could cause a read past end of the output buffer if a call to host1x_debug_* produced a string longer than 256 bytes. This only affected the debugfs files as the printk debug sink ignores the number of bytes. In practice, this is very unlikely to occur. Fix by switching to vscnprintf(), which returns the number of bytes actually written.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: speakup: keyhelp: guard letter_offsets possible out-of-range indexing help_init() builds letter_offsets[] by using the first byte of each function name as an index via `(start & 31) - 1`. If function_names are overridden from sysfs (root) with a name starting outside [a–z], the index underflows or exceeds the array, leading to OOB write. Function names can be overridden with the following commands as root: modprobe speakup_soft echo "0 _bad" > /sys/accessibility/speakup/i18n/function_names # then press Insert+2 on /dev/tty This fix checks the first letter in help_init(), and if it is not in the [a–z] range the function returns an error to the caller. Eventually this error is propagated to drivers/accessibility/speakup/main.c:2217, which causes a bleep sound.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_ct: move custom expectation support to helper Originally, the ct expectation support called nf_ct_helper_ext_add() for confirmed conntracks, which is invalid, triggering a splat. This was fixed by commit 1710eb913bdc ("netfilter: nft_ct: skip expectations for confirmed conntrack") which restricted it to unconfirmed conntracks. However, early insertion of expectations into the expectations list when the conntrack is unconfirmed leads to stale entries pointing to the wrong hlist_head through .pprev due to ct extension reallocation. Commit 7c9664351980 ("netfilter: move nat hlist_head to nf_conn") moved the nat hlist_head to nf_conn for this reason: 1. ... 2. When reallocation of extension area occurs we need to fixup the bysource hash head via hlist_replace_rcu. I'd rather not increase the size of the struct nf_conn for this feature has very limited scope: only one expectation can be created at a time given expect_clash() will make nf_ct_expect_related() reports EBUSY. For this reason, relax nf_ct_expect_related() not to drop packets in case expectation creation fails, therefore

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hinic3: Fix skb linearization mismatch and drop skb when skb_checksum_help() failed Previously, hinic3_send_one_skb() cached the skb fragment count before calling hinic3_tx_offload(). If hinic3_tx_csum() falls back to skb_checksum_help() for unsupported tunnel packets, the skb may be linearized. Continuing to build the TX descriptor with the stale fragment count leads to a descriptor mismatch, which can trigger out-of-bounds DMA reads or IOMMU faults. Furthermore, the old code ignored the return value of skb_checksum_help(), transmitting corrupted packets with incomplete checksums upon failure. Fix this by: 1. Moving the hinic3_tx_offload() call before calculating 'num_sge' to ensure the correct fragment count is used if the SKB is linearized. 2. Propagating skb_checksum_help() errors and returning HINIC3_TX_OFFLOAD_INVALID to properly drop the skb.

A crafted FTP PASV/EPSV response with an over-long port or address octet wraps the value, so the helper configures the data connection with a truncated port/address. The netfilter conntrack FTP helper had the same defect, fixed in commit 2b413fc689ba ("netfilter: nf_conntrack_ftp: avoid u16 overflows"). Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. Prior to 4.3.0, Steeltoe.Security.Authorization.Certificate deployments using AddOrgAndSpacePolicies() and UseCertificateAuthorization() trust the public certificate supplied in the X-Client-Cert request header without proving possession of the corresponding private key. Common Cloud Foundry routers do not remove this header from inbound requests. When inbound requests are not restricted to a known trusted proxy source IP, an attacker who obtains the public certificate of an application instance in the target organization or space and can reach the application can spoof X-Client-Cert to bypass the SameOrg and SameSpace policies for the certificate validity period. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Sep 17, 2026Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications.CVE-2026-81516 · Other software · SteeltoeOSS · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, ConsulDiscoveryClient constructs ConsulServiceInstance objects by parsing each registration's secure metadata with a strict Boolean conversion. A principal that can register a Consul service can supply a secure value other than true or false, causing the exception from one instance to abort construction of the entire instance list and make the targeted service undiscoverable. When GetAllInstancesAsync enumerates all services, one malformed instance can abort enumeration across every service. The outage persists until the offending registration is removed. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Sep 17, 2026Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications.CVE-2026-81515 · Other software · SteeltoeOSS · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, EurekaDiscoveryClient deserializes the registry response as one unit, and an unrecognized actionType or status, a non-Boolean isCoordinatingDiscoveryServer, or a nonnumeric timestamp can abort the entire response. A principal that can register or update an instance can cause all connected Steeltoe clients to receive an empty or stale instance list until the malformed registration is removed. The JsonInstanceInfoConverter, BoolStringJsonConverter, and LongStringJsonConverter parsing paths are affected. This issue is distinct from the earlier DataCenterInfo.name parsing vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Sep 17, 2026Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications.CVE-2026-75523 · Other software · SteeltoeOSS · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. Prior to 4.3.0, the Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint /actuator/httpexchanges endpoint passes recorded request URIs through MaskedUri, which masks URI user information but does not inspect query strings. When Management:Endpoints:HttpExchanges:IncludeQueryString is enabled, the HttpExchangeRequest response can disclose OAuth tokens, password-reset tokens, signed-URL signatures, API keys, and other query-string secrets from prior traffic to a caller that can reach the explicitly exposed endpoint. The Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint.Actuators.HttpExchanges DEBUG logger also records these URIs, creating a second disclosure channel for users with log access. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Sep 16, 2026oRPC is an tool that helps build APIs that are end-to-end type-safe and adhere to OpenAPI standards.CVE-2026-77360 · Other software · middleapi · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
oRPC is an tool that helps build APIs that are end-to-end type-safe and adhere to OpenAPI standards. Prior to 1.14.8, the @orpc/server CORS plugin in packages/server/src/plugins/cors.ts copies a client's incoming Vary request header into the response instead of controlling Vary as a response-only header and using Origin for request-origin variation. In deployments behind a shared cache, CDN, or reverse proxy that keys responses using Vary, a client can inject arbitrary variation values, pollute cache keys, and cause inconsistent CORS enforcement for other clients. Sep 16, 2026RestrictedPython is a tool that helps define a subset of the Python language for accepting program input in a trusted environment.CVE-2026-76825 · Other software · zopefoundation · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4
RestrictedPython is a tool that helps define a subset of the Python language for accepting program input in a trusted environment. Prior to 8.4, RestrictedPython could allow a sandbox escape when a custom import policy or globals exposed the standard library string module, the string.Formatter class, a Formatter instance, or a Formatter subclass to restricted code. The string.Formatter methods format, get_field, get_value, and vformat performed attribute and item traversal internally without passing through RestrictedPython's safer_getattr protections. `tts-be` is a backend for a timetable selector that aims to help students better choose their class schedules. Versions prior to 2.1.0 have a Broken Access Control vulnerability across several API endpoints (such as `/api/student/{id}/photo` and `/api/course_unit/{id}/exchange/metadata`). By chaining these unauthenticated endpoints, a remote attacker can use the backend as an open proxy to bypass authorization checks, allowing for the enumeration and extraction of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from upstream university systems. Sep 14, 2026backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administrationCVE-2026-57570 · Other software · Laravel-Backpack · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.15 and 7.0.47, HasMany and MorphMany handling through attachManyRelation during CRUD create and update operations accepts submitted child primary keys without consistently restricting updates to records belonging to the current parent or permitted by the developer-defined relation scope. An authenticated low-privilege administrator who can edit a parent form exposing an affected multiple-relation field can cause unrelated child records to be reassigned, detached, nulled, or deleted across ownership or tenant boundaries. Exploitation requires related records that should not be attachable or removable by that administrator and the absence of additional application-level authorization around submitted relation values. This issue is distinct from earlier direct main-entity CRUD scoping fixes because it affects secondary models modified by relationship-saving logic. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.15 and 7.0.47.

backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. Prior to 4.1.70, 5.6.2, 6.8.13, and 7.0.36, Backpack\CRUD\Stats::makeCurlRequest in src/Stats.php is reached from BackpackServiceProvider::boot() and constructs a shell command with a URL influenced by the HTTP Host header, which it passes to exec() without adequate shell neutralization. An unauthenticated attacker whose malformed Host value reaches PHP can inject operating-system commands when exec() and curl are available and the 1-in-100 random gate is reached. Repeated requests can reach the random gate. Successful exploitation executes commands as the web-server user, exposing environment secrets, files, and reachable services and permitting data modification or service disruption. Common reverse-proxy Host validation and hardened PHP configurations that disable exec() reduce reachability but do not correct the vulnerable construction. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.70, 5.6.2, 6.8.13, and 7.0.36.

backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, src/resources/views/crud/columns/color.blade.php inverts the escaped and raw rendering branches controlled by $column['escaped'], which defaults to true, causing $column['text'] to be rendered unescaped by default. backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, the Update, Delete, and Reorder operations resolve records from the unscoped model query instead of the query configured through addClause() or addBaseClause(). An authenticated user who knows or guesses an out-of-scope record primary key can therefore modify, delete, or reorder records hidden by tenant, ownership, or other row-level access-control scopes. Applications that do not rely on CRUD query clauses for authorization are not affected by this specific bypass. The fix routes all three write operations through getModelWithCrudPanelQuery(), matching the scoped list and read behavior. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.14 and 7.0.38.

backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. Prior to 6.8.12 and 7.0.35, HasUploadFields::uploadMultipleFilesToDisk in src/app/Models/Traits/HasUploadFields.php trusts disk-relative paths from clear_<attribute>[] and passes them to Storage::disk()->delete without confirming that the paths are persisted on the current model record. An authenticated user with Update access to a CRUD using this mutator through src/app/Models/Traits/CrudTrait.php can delete another record's attachment, a shared asset, or another operational file on the configured disk by submitting its path. The newer MultipleFiles uploader is not affected because it intersects requested deletions with the record's persisted file list. This flaw does not permit reading the deleted files. The 5.x line remains affected through its final releases. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.12 and 7.0.35.

backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, HasUploadFields methods uploadFileToDisk and uploadMultipleFilesToDisk, used through CrudTrait, and the withFiles() path through FileNameGenerator do not internally reject server-executable file types. An authenticated administrator can achieve remote code execution by using an upload-enabled CRUD field without mimes: and mimetypes: validation when the public disk is web-accessible through php artisan storage:link and the web-server and PHP-FPM configuration executes the stored extension. The legacy path preserves an accepted extension and the newer path derives an extension without blocking dangerous types. From 6.0.0 until 6.8.14 and 7.0.38, MyAccountController::postAccountInfoForm at POST /admin/edit-account-info permits AccountInfoRequest to update backpack_authentication_column(), which is email by default, without requiring current_password or otherwise verifying the account's existing password. An attacker with a temporary authenticated Backpack session can change the account-recovery email and later use the password-reset flow after the original session expires, converting session compromise into persistent account takeover. The same mechanism permits an insider to set a personal recovery address before access is revoked. The separate password-change endpoint is not affected because it verifies old_password. backpack/crud provides Create, Read, Update & Delete (CRUD) functions for Backpack, a collection of Laravel packages that help users build custom administration panels. Prior to 6.8.11 and 7.0.34, MyAccountController::postAccountInfoForm in src/app/Http/Controllers/MyAccountController.php at POST /admin/edit-account-info passes request data from $request->except(['_token']) to the user model instead of restricting updates to fields accepted by AccountInfoRequest::validationData(). An attacker with an authenticated Backpack session can therefore mass-assign password, the authentication column, or other deployment-specific fillable attributes. With the default Laravel 11 user model, a submitted plaintext password is automatically hashed and persisted, converting temporary session access into persistent account takeover without the old_password check enforced by the separate password-change route. Changing the authentication email can also enable later password-reset takeover, while additional fillable security attributes can permit deployment-specific privilege escalation or security-control changes. This issue is fixed in versions 6.8.11 and 7.0.34.

WeasyPrint helps web developers to create PDF documents. Prior to 70.0, server-side applications that configure a restrictive url_fetcher and pass attacker-influenced values to HTML.write_pdf() can have the restriction bypassed through the xmp_metadata or stylesheets options. In weasyprint/pdf/init.py, xmp_metadata calls select_source() without the document url_fetcher, allowing an accessible local file to be read and embedded verbatim in the output PDF. In weasyprint/document.py, stylesheets constructs CSS() without the document url_fetcher, allowing local or internal resource loading and propagating the permissive fetcher through nested CSS imports and url() references. The stylesheets channel applies fetched resources but does not by itself disclose stylesheet comments verbatim. This issue is fixed in version 70.0.

The Zephyr SDIO subsystem function sdio_io_rw_extended_helper() in subsys/sd/sdio.c finishes transfers with a byte-I/O loop that uses size = MIN(remaining, func->cis.max_blk_size) as the per-iteration step. The value func->cis.max_blk_size is decoded directly from the SDIO card's CIS FUNCE tuple in sdio_decode_cis() and is not validated. When a card reports a maximum block size of zero, size is always 0, remaining never decreases, and the loop spins forever. The loop is reached from the public SDIO client API used by drivers, including sdio_read_fifo(), sdio_write_fifo(), and the incrementing register read/write helpers, each of which enters the loop while holding the per-card mutex func->card->lock. A card advertising max_blk_size == 0 therefore hangs the calling thread permanently on its first non-block-aligned transfer and never releases the mutex, denying service to the SDIO peripheral (and any subsystem such as Wi-Fi that depends on it) until the device is reset. The malicious value must come from the SDIO card itself, so the defect is exploitable where a removable SDIO/combo card slot lets an attacker insert a crafted or malfunctioning card (a physical attack vector); on bo
