In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phonet/pep: disable BH around forwarded sk_receive_skb() The networking receive path is usually run from softirq context, but protocols that take the socket lock may have packets stored in the backlog and processed later from process context. In that case release_sock() -> __release_sock() drops the slock with spin_unlock_bh() and then calls sk->sk_backlog_rcv() with bottom halves enabled. Typical sk_backlog_rcv handlers process the socket whose backlog is being drained, so the BH state at entry is irrelevant for the slocks they touch. pep_do_rcv() is different: when the inbound skb targets an existing PEP pipe, it forwards the skb to a different *child* socket via sk_receive_skb(). That helper takes the child slock with bh_lock_sock_nested(), which is just spin_lock_nested() and assumes BH is already off. The same child slock therefore ends up acquired with BH on (process path) and with BH off (softirq path): process context softirq context --------------- --------------- release_sock(listener) __netif_receive_skb() __release_sock() phone

Jul 14, 2026Eclipse Kura versions prior to 5.6.2 trust the client-supplied X-Forwarded-For HTTP header as the authoritative source of the client IP address in audit log entCVE-2026-9561 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 8.8
Eclipse Kura versions prior to 5.6.2 trust the client-supplied X-Forwarded-For HTTP header as the authoritative source of the client IP address in audit log entries. The org.eclipse.kura.web2 (Web Console) and org.eclipse.kura.rest.provider (REST API) components use this header as the primary IP source when initializing audit context, and org.eclipse.kura.jetty.customizer unconditionally installs Jetty's ForwardedRequestCustomizer on all HTTP/HTTPS connectors, causing HttpServletRequest.getRemoteAddr() to reflect the attacker-controlled header value. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to bypass IP-based brute-force protections — such as fail2ban — by spoofing the logged IP address to a non-routable value, allowing a brute-force attack to proceed undetected, or to cause a denial of service against a third party by injecting a victim's IP address and triggering a ban on that address.

A Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (PFE) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). As part of the stateful traffic processing on SRX Series devices flows are being established, and removed when not needed anymore. During the removal process the timeout of a flow should be set to 3 seconds and consequentially the flow should be removed shortly after. Due to a race condition occurring when setting the timeout there is a chance (the exact conditions are outside the attackers control) that the timeout is instead set to a very high value of larger than 10,000 seconds: user@host> show security flow session | match timeout Session ID: 98784248524, Policy name: PROD-FLOW/4, HA State: Active, Timeout: 85250, Session State: Valid This will lead to an accumulation of flows which can be observed by an ever-increasing value of invalidated sessions in the output of 'show security flow session summary': user@host> show security flow session summary | match invalid Invalidated sessions: 216931These sess

An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX10000 Series allows an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). On all QFX10000 platforms in an EVPN-VxLAN scenario, if an attacker sends IPv6 multicast traffic and these packets reach the non-IRB interface of a spine switch it floods the packet to other spines and all Ethernet Segment Identifier (ESI) leaf switches. This flooding causes the packet to be forwarded in a endless loop, which can lead to saturation of the involved links and in turn impact to legitimate traffic. This issue affects Junos OS on QFX10000 Series: * all versions before 23.2R2-S7, * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S8, * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S4, * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S4. An Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in the Packet Forwarding Engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series allows an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). When a specific packet is received from device in the same broadcast domain, an affected system calculates the packet size incorrectly. This causes further packet processing to fail, which triggers an FPC major error, resulting in a FPC reset impacting traffic until the FPC has automatically recovered. An Unchecked Input for Loop Condition vulnerability in the Packet Forwarding Engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series allows an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS).Micro-BFD session flaps generate respective up/down events which are queued by PFEMAN for processing. Especially in a Virtual-Chassis (VC) scenario with locality‑bias configured, processing takes a significant amount of time for each event. If these sessions keep flapping, new events are constantly added, and in turn PFEMAN never completes processing these events. This results in the PFEMAN watchdog timer expiring, which causes the FPC to crash and restart, representing a complete service outage. This issue only affects MX series FPCs up to and including MPC9, and LC2101/2103 and LC480. It does not affect MPC10/11, LC4800/9600, and MX304. Jul 9, 2026An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the advanced forwarding toolkit (evo-aftmand) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved CVE-2026-33794 · Network & remote access · Juniper Networks · reported by sirt@juniper.netHigh 8.2
An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the advanced forwarding toolkit (evo-aftmand) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on PTX Series allows an unauthenticated network-based attacker generating continuous routing updates, resulting in unilist ECMP routes, to crash the evo-aftmand process on the PFE, leading to a Denial-of-Service (DoS). The conditions required for successful exploitation are based on a sequence of events that are outside an attacker's direct control. Unified list (unilist) ECMP routes are a specific ECMP behavior where multiple equal-cost routes share a single logical next-hop list entry. The router treats them as one route with multiple next hops and load balances traffic across that unified list. Due to an issue processing unilist ECMP routing updates, internal state corruption may occur, especially in large-scale ECMP unilist deployments, leading to the evo-aftmand process crashing, resulting in an evo-aftmand-bx core. Manual intervention is required to recover by rebooting the system or restarting the FPC. This issue affects Junos OS Evolved on PTX : * from 24.4R2-EVO before 24.4R2-S3-EVO; * from 25.2 before 2

Jul 7, 2026HTTP::Tiny versions before 0.095 for Perl forward credential headers to cross-origin redirect targets.CVE-2026-7017 · Other software · HAARG · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.1
HTTP::Tiny versions before 0.095 for Perl forward credential headers to cross-origin redirect targets. When the server returns a 3xx redirect, `_maybe_redirect` follows the `Location:` header and `_prepare_headers_and_cb` re-merges the caller's `headers` argument into the new request, without checking whether the redirect target shares an origin with the original URL. Caller-supplied `Authorization`, `Cookie` and `Proxy-Authorization` headers are therefore re-sent to whatever host the redirect names, across scheme, host or port boundaries, and including `https` to `http` downgrades that expose them in plaintext on the wire. The HTTP::Tiny POD note that "Authorization headers will not be included in a redirected request" applied only to the URL-userinfo Basic-auth path, not to headers passed explicitly by the caller.

Jun 25, 2026A server-side request forgery (SSRF) flaw was found in KubeVirt's virt-api port-forward handler.CVE-2026-13318 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.4
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) flaw was found in KubeVirt's virt-api port-forward handler. When processing a port-forward request to a VirtualMachineInstance (VMI), virt-api reads the target IP from vmi.Status.Interfaces[0].IP and passes it directly to net.Dial() without validation. For VMIs using non-masquerade network bindings (bridge or secondary-only), this IP is reported by the QEMU guest agent running inside the VM and is fully controllable by the VM owner. An attacker with kubevirt.io:edit permissions can create a VM with a modified guest agent that reports an arbitrary IP address, then request port-forward to establish a bidirectional TCP tunnel from virt-api's cluster-internal network position to any routable destination, bypassing NetworkPolicy isolation.

Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: dummy: fix UMP event stack overread The dummy sequencer port forwards events byCVE-2026-53241 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: dummy: fix UMP event stack overread The dummy sequencer port forwards events by copying an incoming struct snd_seq_event into a stack temporary, rewriting source and destination, and dispatching the temporary to subscribers. That legacy event storage is smaller than struct snd_seq_ump_event. When a UMP event reaches the dummy client, the copy leaves the UMP flag set but only provides legacy-sized stack storage. The subscriber delivery path then uses snd_seq_event_packet_size() and copies a UMP-sized packet from that stack object, reading past the end of the temporary. Use the existing union __snd_seq_event storage and copy the packet size reported for the incoming event before rewriting the common routing fields. This preserves the full UMP packet for UMP events while keeping legacy event handling unchanged.

May 27, 2026IO::Uncompress::Unzip versions before 2.220 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via per-byte read loop in fastForward.CVE-2026-48959 · Other software · PMQS · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5
IO::Uncompress::Unzip versions before 2.220 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via per-byte read loop in fastForward. fastForward() compares length $offset (the digit count of the offset, 1 to 19) against the chunk size $c instead of $offset itself, so $c shrinks from 16 KiB to 1-19 bytes per iteration. Extracting a named entry from an attacker supplied zip via IO::Uncompress::Unzip->new($zip, Name => $target) drives a per-byte read loop scaling with the entry's compressed size, up to the non-Zip64 4 GiB cap.

Dify version 1.14.1 and prior contain a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated users to manipulate requests forwarded to the Plugin Daemon's internal REST API by exploiting insufficient URL path sanitization. Attackers can traverse out of their authorized tenant path using unencoded dot sequences in task identifiers or manipulated filename parameters to access internal endpoints such as debug interfaces, requiring only knowledge of the victim tenant's UUID. May 7, 2026ReverseProxy can forward queries containing parameters not visible to Rewrite functions.CVE-2026-39825 · Other software · Go standard library · reported by security@golang.orgMedium 5.3
ReverseProxy can forward queries containing parameters not visible to Rewrite functions. When used with a Rewrite function, or a Director function which parses query parameters, ReverseProxy sanitizes the forwarded request to remove query parameters which are not parsed by url.ParseQuery. ReverseProxy does not take ParseQuery's limit on the total number of query parameters (controlled by GODEBUG=urlmaxqueryparams=N) into account. This can permit ReverseProxy to forward a request containing a query parameter that is not visible to the Rewrite function. For example, the query "a1=x&a2=x&...&a10000=x&hidden=y" can forward the parameter "hidden=y" while hiding it from the proxy's Rewrite function.

Apr 9, 2026An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on specific EX and QFX CVE-2026-33781 · Network & remote access · Juniper Networks · reported by sirt@juniper.netHigh 7.1
An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on specific EX and QFX Series devices allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a complete Denial of Service (DoS). On EX4k, and QFX5k platforms configured as service-provider edge devices, if L2PT is enabled on the UNI and VSTP is enabled on NNI in VXLAN scenarios, receiving VSTP BPDUs on UNI leads to packet buffer allocation failures, resulting in the device to not pass traffic anymore until it is manually recovered with a restart. This issue affects Junos OS: * 24.4 releases before 24.4R2, * 25.2 releases before 25.2R1-S1, 25.2R2. An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to bypass the configured firewall filter and access the control-plane of the device. On MX platforms with MPC10, MPC11, LC4800 or LC9600 line cards, and MX304, firewall filters applied on a loopback interface lo0.n (where n is a non-0 number) don't get executed when lo0.n is in the global VRF / default routing-instance. An affected configuration would be: user@host# show configuration interfaces lo0 | display set set interfaces lo0 unit 1 family inet filter input <filter-name> where a firewall filter is applied to a non-0 loopback interface, but that loopback interface is not referred to in any routing-instance (RI) configuration, which implies that it's used in the default RI.
