The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal in versions up to, and including, 1.52.1 via the 'upload-1[file][file_path]' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. • Apr 15, 2026e-shot™ form builder: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-3642 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The e-shot™ form builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to and including 1.0.2. The eshot_form_builder_update_field_data() AJAX handler lacks any capability checks (current_user_can()) or nonce verification (check_ajax_referer()/wp_verify_nonce()). The function is registered via the wp_ajax_ hook, making it accessible to any authenticated user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify form field configurations including mandatory status, field visibility, and form display preferences via the eshot_form_builder_update_field_data AJAX action.

The SureForms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Other Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Payment Amount Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.2. This is due to the create_payment_intent() function performing a payment validation solely based on the value of a user-controlled parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass configured form payment-amount validation and create underpriced payment/subscription intents by setting form_id to 0.

  • Mar 21, 2026e-shot form builder: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-3546 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The e-shot form builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.2. The eshot_form_builder_get_account_data() function is registered as a wp_ajax_ AJAX handler accessible to all authenticated users. The function lacks any capability check (e.g., current_user_can('manage_options')) and does not verify a nonce. It directly queries the database for the e-shot API token stored in the eshotformbuilder_control table and returns it along with all subaccount data as a JSON response. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to extract the e-shot API token and subaccount information, which could then be used to access the victim's e-shot platform account.

Affects up to 1.0.2. Update e-shot form builder to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.

  • Mar 11, 2026Responsive Contact Form Builder & Lead Generation: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-1454 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Responsive Contact Form Builder & Lead Generation Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.1 via form field submissions. This is due to insufficient input sanitization in the lfb_lead_sanitize() function which omits certain field types from its sanitization whitelist, combined with an overly permissive wp_kses() filter at output time that allows onclick attributes on anchor tags. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever an administrator views the lead entries in the WordPress dashboard.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to update option values to a structured array value on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update an option that would create an error on the site and deny service to legitimate users or be used to set some values, that would, for example enable site user registration when it is explicitly disabled.

The User Registration & Membership – Custom Registration Form Builder, Custom Login Form, User Profile, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to improper privilege management in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.2. This is due to the plugin accepting a user-supplied role during membership registration without properly enforcing a server-side allowlist. The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the form_name parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.50.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The plugin allows admins to give form management permissions to lower level users, which could make this exploitable by users such as subscribers.

  • Jan 29, 2026Umbraco Forms is a form builder that integrates with the Umbraco content management system.CVE-2026-24687 · Other software · umbraco · reported by GitHubMedium 6

Umbraco Forms is a form builder that integrates with the Umbraco content management system. It's possible for an authenticated backoffice-user to enumerate and traverse paths/files on the systems filesystem and read their contents, on Mac/Linux Umbraco installations using Forms. As Umbraco Cloud runs in a Windows environment, Cloud users aren't affected. This issue affects versions 16 and 17 of Umbraco Forms and is patched in 16.4.1 and 17.1.1. If upgrading is not immediately possible, users can mitigate this vulnerability by configuring a WAF or reverse proxy to block requests containing path traversal sequences (`../`, `..\`) in the `fileName` parameter of the export endpoint, restricting network access to the Umbraco backoffice to trusted IP ranges, and/or blocking the `/umbraco/forms/api/v1/export` endpoint entirely if the export feature is not required. However, upgrading to the patched version is strongly recommended.

  • Sep 2, 2025Fluent Forms – Customizable Contact Forms, Survey, Quiz, & Conversational Form Builder: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2025-9260 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Fluent Forms – Customizable Contact Forms, Survey, Quiz, & Conversational Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in versions 5.1.16 to 6.1.1 via deserialization of untrusted input in the parseUserProperties function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. The additional presence of a POP chain allows attackers to read arbitrary files. If allow_url_include is enabled on the server, remote code execution is possible. While the vendor patched this issue in version 6.1.0, the patch caused a fatal error in the vulnerable code, due to a missing class import, so we consider 6.1.2 to be the most complete and best patched version
