RustDesk gates incoming control messages on per-capability flags rather than on the session's authorized connection type, and a file-transfer session does not clear those flags. A peer holding only a valid FileTransfer authorization can inject keyboard and mouse input and reach the unguarded screenshot and display-capture handlers, acting outside its granted scope.

Jun 27, 2026The ELF image activator cleared per-process ASLR preference flags for setuid binaries after the code that computes the PIE base address, rather than before.CVE-2026-49414 · Other software · FreeBSD · reported by secteam@freebsd.orgHigh 7.8
The ELF image activator cleared per-process ASLR preference flags for setuid binaries after the code that computes the PIE base address, rather than before. As a result, a user-requested ASLR disable was still in effect at the point where the base address was chosen. An unprivileged local user can disable ASLR for a setuid PIE binary by calling procctl(2) before execve(2). This makes exploitation of any separate memory corruption vulnerability in that binary significantly easier.

Jun 27, 2026The Linuxulator determined whether a binary was set-user-ID or set-group-ID by checking the P_SUGID process flag.CVE-2026-49413 · Other software · FreeBSD · reported by secteam@freebsd.orgHigh 7.1
The Linuxulator determined whether a binary was set-user-ID or set-group-ID by checking the P_SUGID process flag. During execve(2), this flag is not yet set at the point where the auxiliary vector is constructed, so AT_SECURE was incorrectly set to zero for set-user-ID and set-group-ID executables. An unprivileged local user can inject a shared library via LD_PRELOAD into a set-user-ID or set-group-ID Linux binary, gaining the privileges of that binary.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netdev: fix double-free in netdev_nl_bind_rx_doit() Sashiko flags that genlmsg_reply() always consumes the skb. The error path calls nlmsg_free(rsp) so we can't jump directly to it. Let's not unbind, just propagate the error to the user. This is the typical way of handling genlmsg_reply() failures. They shouldn't happen unless user does something silly like calling the kernel with an already-full rcvbuf.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_exthdr: fix register tracking for F_PRESENT flag nft_exthdr_init() passes user-controlled priv->len to nft_parse_register_store(), which marks that many bytes in the register bitmap as initialized. However, when NFT_EXTHDR_F_PRESENT is set, the eval paths write only 1 byte (nft_reg_store8) or 4 bytes (*dest = 0 on TCP/DCCP error path). When len > 4, registers beyond the first are never written, retaining uninitialized stack data from nft_regs. Bail out if userspace requests too much data when F_PRESENT is set.

Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/huge_memory: use correct flags for device private PMD entry Commit 65edfda6f3f2 ("mm/rmCVE-2026-53155 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/huge_memory: use correct flags for device private PMD entry Commit 65edfda6f3f2 ("mm/rmap: extend rmap and migration support device-private entries") updated set_pmd_migration_entry() to use pmdp_huge_get_and_clear() in the softleaf case, but made no further adjustments to the function itself. Therefore this function continues to incorrectly use pmd_write(), pmd_soft_dirty() and pmd_uffd_wp() to determine whether the installed migration entry should be marked writable, softdirty or uffd-wp respectively. Whilst all are incorrect, the most problematic of these is pmd_write(), as this can lead to corrupted rmap state. On x86-64 _PAGE_SWP_SOFT_DIRTY is aliased to _PAGE_RW. So calling pmd_write() on a softleaf will return the softdirty state encoded in the entry, assuming CONFIG_MEM_SOFT_DIRTY was enabled. This was observed when running the hmm.hmm_device_private.anon_write_child selftest: 1. The test faults in a range then migrates it such that a device-private THP range is established. 2. The parent then migrates it to a device-private writable PMD entry whose folio is entirely AnonExclusive with ent

Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ublk: reset per-IO canceled flag on each fetch If a ublk server starts recovering devices CVE-2026-53124 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ublk: reset per-IO canceled flag on each fetch If a ublk server starts recovering devices but dies before issuing fetch commands for all IOs, cancellation of the fetch commands that were successfully issued may never complete. This is because the per-IO canceled flag can remain set even after the fetch for that IO has been submitted - the per-IO canceled flags for all IOs in a queue are reset together only once all IOs for that queue have been fetched. So if a nonempty proper subset of the IOs for a queue are fetched when the ublk server dies, the IOs in that subset will never successfully be canceled, as their canceled flags remain set, and this prevents ublk_cancel_cmd from actually calling io_uring_cmd_done on the commands, despite the fact that they are outstanding. Fix this by resetting the per-IO cancel flags immediately when each IO is fetched instead of waiting for all IOs for the queue (which may never happen).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix data loss caused by incorrect use of nat_entry flag Data loss can occur when fsync is performed on a newly created file (before any checkpoint has been written) concurrently with a checkpoint operation. The scenario is as follows: create & write & fsync 'file A' write checkpoint - f2fs_do_sync_file // inline inode - f2fs_write_inode // inode folio is dirty - f2fs_write_checkpoint - f2fs_flush_merged_writes - f2fs_sync_node_pages - f2fs_flush_nat_entries - f2fs_fsync_node_pages // no dirty node - f2fs_need_inode_block_update // return false SPO and lost 'file A' f2fs_flush_nat_entries() sets the IS_CHECKPOINTED and HAS_LAST_FSYNC flags for the nat_entry, but this does not mean that the checkpoint has actually completed successfully. However, f2fs_need_inode_block_update() checks these flags and incorrectly assumes that the checkpoint has finished. The root cause is that the semantics of IS_

Jun 22, 2026bt_iso_recv() in subsys/bluetooth/host/iso.c pulled the ISO SDU header (4 bytes) or, when the timestamp flag is set, the timestamped SDU header (8 bytes) from tCVE-2026-10658 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.1
bt_iso_recv() in subsys/bluetooth/host/iso.c pulled the ISO SDU header (4 bytes) or, when the timestamp flag is set, the timestamped SDU header (8 bytes) from the inbound HCI ISO Data buffer via net_buf_pull_mem() without first checking buf->len. The upstream hci_iso() handler enforces buf->len == the controller-declared ISO Data_Load length, so a malicious or buggy controller / adjacent BLE peer on an established CIS/BIS can present a first-fragment (BT_ISO_START) or single (BT_ISO_SINGLE) PDU shorter than the SDU header. Because net_buf_simple_pull_mem only guards length with __ASSERT_NO_MSG (compiled out when CONFIG_ASSERT is disabled, the production default), the pull underflows buf->len (uint16_t, e.g. 0 - 8 = 0xFFF8) and advances buf->data past valid data: the subsequent reads of hdr->slen and hdr->sn are out-of-bounds reads of adjacent pool memory. For the multi-fragment (START) case the corrupted buffer is retained as iso->rx, and a following CONT/END fragment's net_buf_tailroom() guard underflows to a near-SIZE_MAX value, defeating the bounds check and causing net_buf_add_mem() to memcpy attacker-supplied fragment data far past the RX pool buffer (out-of-bounds write). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: 9p: fix access mode flags being ORed instead of replaced Since commit 1f3e4142c0eb ("9p: convert to the new mount API"), v9fs_apply_options() applies parsed mount flags with |= onto flags already set by v9fs_session_init(). For 9P2000.L, session_init sets V9FS_ACCESS_CLIENT as the default, so when the user mounts with "access=user", both bits end up set. Access mode checks compare against exact values, so having both bits set matches neither mode. This causes v9fs_fid_lookup() to fall through to the default switch case, using INVALID_UID (nobody/65534) instead of current_fsuid() for all fid lookups. Root is then unable to chown or perform other privileged operations. Fix by clearing the access mask before applying the user's choice.

Jun 1, 2026Apache Airflow's `JWTRefreshMiddleware` set the JWT auth cookie without the `Secure` flag, so deployments running the Airflow API server behind an HTTPS-terminaCVE-2026-41017 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.9
Apache Airflow's `JWTRefreshMiddleware` set the JWT auth cookie without the `Secure` flag, so deployments running the Airflow API server behind an HTTPS-terminating reverse proxy (e.g. nginx / Envoy / a managed load balancer that terminates TLS and forwards plaintext to the API server, the default cloud-native topology) would have the user's session JWT replayed over any cleartext HTTP request to the same host. A network-positioned attacker (Wi-Fi MITM, hostile LAN, captive-portal proxy) could induce a logged-in user's browser to issue an HTTP request to the deployment's hostname and capture the JWT cookie out of that request, then replay it against the authenticated API. Affects deployments where the Airflow API server is reached through a TLS-terminating proxy and the cookie's secure-by-default protection is load-bearing for session integrity. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow` 3.2.2 or later.

May 27, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix memory access flags in helper prototypes After commit 37cce22dbd51 ("bpf: verifieCVE-2026-45903 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix memory access flags in helper prototypes After commit 37cce22dbd51 ("bpf: verifier: Refactor helper access type tracking"), the verifier started relying on the access type flags in helper function prototypes to perform memory access optimizations. Currently, several helper functions utilizing ARG_PTR_TO_MEM lack the corresponding MEM_RDONLY or MEM_WRITE flags. This omission causes the verifier to incorrectly assume that the buffer contents are unchanged across the helper call. Consequently, the verifier may optimize away subsequent reads based on this wrong assumption, leading to correctness issues. For bpf_get_stack_proto_raw_tp, the original MEM_RDONLY was incorrect since the helper writes to the buffer. Change it to ARG_PTR_TO_UNINIT_MEM which correctly indicates write access to potentially uninitialized memory. Similar issues were recently addressed for specific helpers in commit ac44dcc788b9 ("bpf: Fix verifier assumptions of bpf_d_path's output buffer") and commit 2eb7648558a7 ("bpf: Specify access type of bpf_sysctl_get_name args"). Fix these prototypes by adding the correct memory access flag

May 26, 2026FastNetMon Community Edition through 1.2.9 has out-of-bounds memory access because it incorrectly parses BGP path attributes with the extended length flag set.CVE-2026-48685 · Other software · Pavel-odintsov · reported by MITREMedium 6.5
FastNetMon Community Edition through 1.2.9 has out-of-bounds memory access because it incorrectly parses BGP path attributes with the extended length flag set. In src/bgp_protocol.hpp, the parse_raw_bgp_attribute() function correctly identifies when extended_length_bit is set and sets length_of_length_field to 2, but then reads only a single byte for the attribute value length (attribute_value_length = value[2] at line 173). Per RFC 4271 Section 4.3, when the Extended Length bit is set, the Attribute Length field is two octets and the value should be read as a 16-bit big-endian integer from value[2] and value[3]. As a result, any attribute longer than 255 bytes has its length silently truncated to the low byte (e.g., 300 bytes = 0x012C is read as 0x2C = 44 bytes). The remaining 256 bytes are then misinterpreted as subsequent attributes, causing cascading parse failures and potential out-of-bounds memory access.

May 22, 2026The Docker CLI --use-api-socket flag bypasses Enhanced Container Isolation (ECI) restrictions in Docker Desktop.CVE-2026-6406 · Other software · Docker · reported by security@docker.comHigh 8.8
The Docker CLI --use-api-socket flag bypasses Enhanced Container Isolation (ECI) restrictions in Docker Desktop. When ECI is enabled, Docker socket mounts from containers are denied unless explicitly allowed via the admin-settings configuration. However, the --use-api-socket flag adds the Docker socket mount via the HostConfig.Mounts field rather than the HostConfig.Binds field. The ECI enforcement in the Docker Desktop API proxy only inspected Binds, allowing the mount to pass unchecked. This grants a container full access to the Docker Engine socket and, if the host user has logged in to container registries, their authentication credentials. A local attacker with the ability to run Docker CLI commands can exploit this to escape ECI restrictions, access the Docker Engine, and potentially escalate privileges.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: contpte: fix set_access_flags() no-op check for SMMU/ATS faults contpte_ptep_set_access_flags() compared the gathered ptep_get() value against the requested entry to detect no-ops. ptep_get() ORs AF/dirty from all sub-PTEs in the CONT block, so a dirty sibling can make the target appear already-dirty. When the gathered value matches entry, the function returns 0 even though the target sub-PTE still has PTE_RDONLY set in hardware. For a CPU with FEAT_HAFDBS this gathered view is fine, since hardware may set AF/dirty on any sub-PTE and CPU TLB behavior is effectively gathered across the CONT range. But page-table walkers that evaluate each descriptor individually (e.g. a CPU without DBM support, or an SMMU without HTTU, or with HA/HD disabled in CD.TCR) can keep faulting on the unchanged target sub-PTE, causing an infinite fault loop. Gathering can therefore cause false no-ops when only a sibling has been updated: - write faults: target still has PTE_RDONLY (needs PTE_RDONLY cleared) - read faults: target still lacks PTE_AF Fix by checking each sub-PTE against the requested AF/dirty/write state (the sa

That can cause the flag to be stale over a shutdown/startup sequence - When a non-forced event is armed, which then prevents rearming before that event. If that event is far out in the future this will cause missed timer interrupts. - In the suspend wakeup handler. That led to stalls which have been reported by several people. Apr 22, 2026A logic error in the cut utility of uutils coreutils causes the utility to ignore the -s (only-delimited) flag when using the -z (null-terminated) and -d '' (emCVE-2026-35381 · Other software · Uutils · reported by security@ubuntu.comLow 3.3
A logic error in the cut utility of uutils coreutils causes the utility to ignore the -s (only-delimited) flag when using the -z (null-terminated) and -d '' (empty delimiter) options together. The implementation incorrectly routes this specific combination through a specialized newline-delimiter code path that fails to check the record suppression status. Consequently, uutils cut emits the entire record plus a NUL byte instead of suppressing it. This divergence from GNU coreutils behavior creates a data integrity risk for automated pipelines that rely on cut -s to filter out undelimited data.

Apr 22, 2026A logic error in the ln utility of uutils coreutils allows the utility to dereference a symbolic link target even when the --no-dereference (or -n) flag is explCVE-2026-35372 · Other software · Uutils · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5
A logic error in the ln utility of uutils coreutils allows the utility to dereference a symbolic link target even when the --no-dereference (or -n) flag is explicitly provided. The implementation previously only honored the "no-dereference" intent if the --force (overwrite) mode was also enabled. This flaw causes ln to follow a symbolic link that points to a directory and create new links inside that target directory instead of treating the symbolic link itself as the destination. In environments where a privileged user or system script uses ln -n to update a symlink, a local attacker could manipulate existing symbolic links to redirect file creation into sensitive directories, potentially leading to unauthorized file creation or system misconfiguration.

A Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) vulnerability exists in the install utility of uutils coreutils when using the -D flag. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring: ensure ctx->rings is stable for task work flags manipulation If DEFER_TASKRUN | SETUP_TASKRUN is used and task work is added while the ring is being resized, it's possible for the OR'ing of IORING_SQ_TASKRUN to happen in the small window of swapping into the new rings and the old rings being freed. Prevent this by adding a 2nd ->rings pointer, ->rings_rcu, which is protected by RCU. The task work flags manipulation is inside RCU already, and if the resize ring freeing is done post an RCU synchronize, then there's no need to add locking to the fast path of task work additions. Note: this is only done for DEFER_TASKRUN, as that's the only setup mode that supports ring resizing. If this ever changes, then they too need to use the io_ctx_mark_taskrun() helper.

Mar 11, 2026flagd is a feature flag daemon with a Unix philosophy.CVE-2026-31866 · Other software · open-feature · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
flagd is a feature flag daemon with a Unix philosophy. Prior to 0.14.2, flagd exposes OFREP (/ofrep/v1/evaluate/...) and gRPC (evaluation.v1, evaluation.v2) endpoints for feature flag evaluation. These endpoints are designed to be publicly accessible by client applications. The evaluation context included in request payloads is read into memory without any size restriction. An attacker can send a single HTTP request with an arbitrarily large body, causing flagd to allocate a corresponding amount of memory. This leads to immediate memory exhaustion and process termination (e.g., OOMKill in Kubernetes environments). flagd does not natively enforce authentication on its evaluation endpoints. While operators may deploy flagd behind an authenticating reverse proxy or similar infrastructure, the endpoints themselves impose no access control by default. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.14.2.
