Oct 10, 2026Divi Plus: Arbitrary File ReadCVE-2026-91136 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Divi Plus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in versions up to, and including, 2.4.0 via the 'svg_image' parameter of the /wp-json/elicus/v1/dipl-modules/svg-animator REST endpoint. This is due to the endpoint's permission callback (SVGAnimatorController::index_permission) returning true unconditionally combined with insufficient validation of the 'svg_image' input — sanitize_text_field() and esc_html() do not restrict filesystem paths, the file:// stream wrapper, or arbitrary URLs — before it is passed to file_get_contents() (with a wp_remote_get() fallback) and the raw response body is returned in the JSON 'html' field. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.

The User Frontend – Membership, User Registration, User Profile, User Directory & Content Restriction with Frontend Post Submission plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'wpuf_payment_method' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The bypass technique involves appending a valid gateway keyword such as 'bank' to the HTML payload, causing sanitize_text_field() to yield only the keyword for routing purposes while the full malicious raw value is stored and later rendered unescaped.

Oct 10, 2026PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-104801 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1
The PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the rename_files function in all versions up to, and including, 34.0.10 This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). Oct 10, 2026FV Player 8: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-83526 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The FV Player 8 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 8.1.7 via the check_mimetype function. This is due to insufficient file type validation in check_mimetype(), which writes attacker-supplied remote file content to the public uploads directory before any MIME or extension check, combined with a missing capability check on new player creation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This requires successfully exploiting a race condition, and is only exploitable if the '[fvplayer_editor]' shortcode is present, or the "Enable profile videos" setting is enabled.

The W3 Total Cache WordPress plugin before 2.10.6 does not confine a media-import file copy to the document root, nor enforce an effective file-type restriction on it, allowing users with the Author role or higher to plant content that, once an administrator runs the import, copies an arbitrary server-readable file into a publicly served directory, exposing it to unauthenticated retrieval.

Oct 10, 2026GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-104899 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.187 via the 'design_type' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. The required nonce is trivially obtainable by any anonymous visitor, as the geodir_basic_nonce value is localized to every public frontend page via the geodir_params script object, meaning no authentication, user interaction, or specific site content is required to exploit this vulnerability.

The Extensions For CF7 (Contact form 7 Database, Conditional Fields and Redirection) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.5 via the extcf7_submit function. Oct 8, 2026Bricksforge: Unauthenticated arbitrary file uploadCVE-2026-85097 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Bricksforge plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthenticated arbitrary file upload in versions up to, and including, 3.1.8.9. This is due to insufficient validation of the attacker-controlled URL field in the 'temporaryFileUploads' parameter during form submission. An unauthenticated attacker can first obtain a valid nonce via the bricksforge_regenerate_nonce AJAX endpoint, then upload a GIF/PHP polyglot file to the temporary upload directory where MIME type validation is correctly performed. Subsequently, the attacker can submit a form with a crafted 'temporaryFileUploads' parameter where the server-side file path points to the validated GIF file, but the attacker-controlled url field ends with a .php extension. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server.

Oct 8, 2026Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder: Unrestricted File Type UploadCVE-2026-17196 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unrestricted File Type Upload in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316 via the upload_files function. This is due to missing file type validation in the upload_files function, which reads and applies an attacker-controlled extensions string from _super_elements post meta verbatim as the allowed MIME type map. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The attack requires a preceding step: poisoning the _super_elements post meta via the super_save_form AJAX handler, which lacks a capability and nonce check but requires the attacker to be authenticated as at minimum a Subscriber-level user; the subsequent file upload via super_upload_files requires no authentication at all.
