  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Update control fields on #VMEXIT if and only if VMRUN succeeded Leave control.erCVE-2026-98714 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Update control fields on #VMEXIT if and only if VMRUN succeeded Leave control.erap_ctl and control.clean as-is in the VMCS if VMRUN fails, because as per AMD: there's no explicit architectural guarantee about the behavior in the presence of VMRUN failures. So the best thing to do would be to assume that if VMRUN fails, the actions requested in the control fields may not have been performed.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: split cifsFileInfo bitfields to avoid shared-byte RMW races The invalidHandleCVE-2026-98681 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: split cifsFileInfo bitfields to avoid shared-byte RMW races The invalidHandle, swapfile, oplock_break_cancelled, offload, and status_file_deleted fields are stored in the same bitfield byte in struct cifsFileInfo, but are updated in different code paths that may run simultaneously, and are protected by different locks. Since bitfield assignments generate byte-level read-modify-write operations, a modification to one flag can overwrite a concurrent modification to another flag. To avoid these races, convert these flags from a bitfield to separate bool fields.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Check params size before reading reserved fields bpf_crypto_ctx_create() is a kfunc wCVE-2026-98611 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Check params size before reading reserved fields bpf_crypto_ctx_create() is a kfunc whose second argument is declared with the __sz annotation, so the verifier only guarantees that params__sz bytes of params are valid. The function nevertheless reads params->reserved[0] and params->reserved[1] (offsets 14 and 15) before comparing params__sz against the size of struct bpf_crypto_params, so a BPF program can pass a shorter buffer and have the kernel read past the region that was validated for it. Move the size check in front of the reserved field reads.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/core: Fill branch entries with a single assignment perf_clear_branch_entry_bitfields(CVE-2026-98551 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/core: Fill branch entries with a single assignment perf_clear_branch_entry_bitfields() clears the bitfields of struct perf_branch_entry one by one and leaves from/to alone, since callers overwrite those straight away. The list has to be kept in sync with the struct by hand and has already fallen behind: new_type and priv were added to perf_branch_entry and never added here. Only BRBE writes those two, and neither for every record. brbe_set_perf_entry_type() leaves new_type alone for a branch type it does not recognise, and priv is not set for source-only records. arm_pmuv3.c allocates the per-CPU branch stack with kmalloc(), so such a record reaches userspace with whatever the slot held: uninitialised kmalloc() data on the first pass over the buffer, the previous record's values after that. Nothing under arch/x86/events/ writes either field, so only arm64 is affected. Assign the whole entry at each site instead. Everything not named is then zero, and there is no list to keep in sync. The bitfields add up to exactly 64 bits, so the struct has no padding to leave undefined. perf_clear_branch_entry_bitfields

  • Oct 17, 2026Contact Form 7 Signature Addon: Does not sanitize a signature field value before building an email attachment path from itCVE-2026-104246 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.9

The Contact Form 7 Signature Addon WordPress plugin through 4.2.2 does not sanitize a signature field value before building an email attachment path from it, allowing unauthenticated users to attach arbitrary files (bounded to wp-content on current Contact Form 7) to a form's outgoing email via path traversal; when a form is configured to email a copy to a submitter-controlled address, the attacker can read the targeted file.

  • Oct 16, 2026Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl return a 0xFF byte that is not in the input for an empty last field followed by a lone CR in parse.CVE-2026-110759 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8

Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl return a 0xFF byte that is not in the input for an empty last field followed by a lone CR in parse. When the input to parse ends in a separator and a lone CR, the parser treats the end of the input as the next character and stores the end-of-file marker in the field as the byte 0xFF. With binary set, parse("a,\r") returns the fields "a" and "\xFF". On UTF-8 flagged input the last field is a UTF-8 flagged string holding that lone byte, which is malformed UTF-8. The same input with a non-empty last field is rejected as an error. A CRLF file read line by line and chomped ends this way when its last column is empty, so the application receives a byte that is not in its input.

  • Oct 16, 2026Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl read before the start of an all-blank field under allow_whitespace in strip_trail_whitespace.CVE-2026-110758 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl read before the start of an all-blank field under allow_whitespace in strip_trail_whitespace. Under allow_whitespace, strip_trail_whitespace removes trailing spaces and tabs from each unquoted field without stopping at the start of the field. For a field of only blanks it reads the byte before the field's heap buffer. If that byte is also a space or tab, it may be zeroed and the walk continue backwards, depending on what the allocator placed there. Leading blanks are normally skipped before a field is stored, but an all-blank field still arrives after a leading escape_char that differs from quote_char, or as a quoted field in getline when its line ends in two CRs.

  • Oct 16, 2026Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl drop the end of a record and its line ending when a UTF-8 flagged field precedes invalid UTF-8 bytes in print.CVE-2026-110756 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8

Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl drop the end of a record and its line ending when a UTF-8 flagged field precedes invalid UTF-8 bytes in print. When a record contains a UTF-8 flagged field, print holds back trailing bytes that are not valid UTF-8 at each buffer flush, so that a character split across two flushes can be completed. Nothing writes the held-back bytes after the record's final flush. A record whose last field ends in such a byte loses it, any closing quote and the line ending, while print still returns true. combine is not affected. The next record is written onto the same line, or, when the last field was quoted, the missing closing quote makes a reader take every following record as part of that field.

  • Oct 16, 2026Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl leak the parsed fields of a record that fails to parse in getline.CVE-2026-110754 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 6.5

Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl leak the parsed fields of a record that fails to parse in getline. getline collects the fields of a record into a new array and returns a reference to it only when the parse succeeds. When the record has a syntax error, getline returns undef and never frees the array or the fields parsed before the error. A long-running process parsing untrusted CSV retains every malformed record it is sent, so repeated malformed input exhausts its memory.

  • Oct 14, 2026Description NGINX Gateway Fabric has a vulnerability when it renders the spec.basic.realm (and spec.jwt.realm) field of a namespaced AuthenticationFilter verbaCVE-2026-91184 · Network & remote access · F5 · reported by f5sirt@f5.comHigh 8.7

Description NGINX Gateway Fabric has a vulnerability when it renders the spec.basic.realm (and spec.jwt.realm) field of a namespaced AuthenticationFilter verbatim, unescaped and unvalidated, into the shared data-plane nginx.conf as auth_basic "<realm>";. A namespaced authenticated attacker that configures AuthenticationFilter CRD to an HTTPRoute/GRPCRoute on a shared Gateway can craft a realm value that closes the quoted directive and the enclosing location {} block and injects arbitrary NGINX directives into that Gateway's data-plane config.  Impact A remote authenticated attacker can send crafted requests to configure NGINX Gateway Fabric AuthenticationFilter CRD and may be able to read every co-located tenant's mounted secrets, SSRF via proxy_pass, reading the pod ServiceAccount token, or hijacking other tenants' routes. There is no data plane exposure; this is a control plane issue only. • Oct 11, 2026Several Postiz endpoints return the complete database row of the record they operate on instead of only the fields the client needs.CVE-2026-107761 · Other software · GitroomHQ · reported by 4cdc9741-f887-419a-a2fd-acbbd2729276Medium 5.3

Several Postiz endpoints return the complete database row of the record they operate on instead of only the fields the client needs. Two of them include secrets the caller is not meant to receive. The public API's channel delete returns the deleted integration row, including the channel's platform access token and refresh token. A third-party OAuth app permitted to delete a channel therefore receives that channel's social platform credentials and can use them against the connected account directly, outside Postiz. `GET /user/organizations` returns each organization row, including its API key, to every member of the organization. The API key is intended for admins only, so a member with a lower role can obtain it and call the public API on behalf of the organization. Both endpoints require a valid session, API key or OAuth token and are scoped to the caller's own organization. There is no anonymous access and no cross-tenant exposure.

  • Oct 10, 2026PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-104801 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the rename_files function in all versions up to, and including, 34.0.10 This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The relocated file is moved byte-identically into the publicly accessible wp-content/uploads/ppom_files/confirmed/ directory, meaning the attack also results in arbitrary file read for any web-readable file on the server.

The Extensions For CF7 (Contact form 7 Database, Conditional Fields and Redirection) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.5 via the extcf7_submit function. This is due to missing file extension, MIME type, and size validation in the signature field's validation_filter(), combined with the absence of PHP-execution guards in the upload directory and a sanitize_file_name() bypass that converts shell.php- into shell.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible.
