  • Oct 14, 2026Multiple TP-Link Wi-Fi range extenders use a custom, reversible XOR-and-dictionary transformation in the HTTP web-management login flow.CVE-2026-109506 · Network & remote access · TP-Link Systems Inc. · reported by f23511db-6c3e-4e32-a477-6aa17d310630Medium 5.9

Multiple TP-Link Wi-Fi range extenders use a custom, reversible XOR-and-dictionary transformation in the HTTP web-management login flow. An unauthenticated attacker on the same local network who can capture the network traffic associated with legitimate administrator login may be able to derive an alternative credential value that produces the same accepted authentication result and use it to authenticate to the device’s web-management interface with administrator privileges. Exploitation requires the management login to use HTTP and the attacker to observe the session key, dictionary, and login value associated with a legitimate administrator login. Successful exploitation may allow an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to gain administrator access to the affected device and modify exposed configuration settings.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/amd_node: Avoid divide by zero on virtualized systems On a virtualized system, the number of nodes does not have a relationship to the number of roots. A Xen PVH dom0 can calculate roots_per_node as 0, which crashes with a divide by zero in: if (count++ % roots_per_node) because the underlying topology code on Xen ends up making num_nodes 2 and num_roots 1 and the integer division result is 0. The issue is seen with Xen, but it could affect other systems. Set roots_per_node to 1 in this case. Print a firmware bug when this is performed for non-virtualized systems. • Oct 14, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Use memset_io() to clear QLAFX00 request ring slot For QLAFX00 the request CVE-2026-98386 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Use memset_io() to clear QLAFX00 request ring slot For QLAFX00 the request ring is ioremapped device I/O memory (ha->iobase + req_que_off), not DMA-coherent RAM, which is why the rest of the FX00 path accesses it through memcpy_toio() and the wrt_reg_* helpers. __qla2x00_alloc_iocbs() however zeroed the producer slot with a plain memset(). On architectures such as ARM64 a regular memset() may emit unaligned or block-zeroing instructions (e.g. DC ZVA) that are invalid on Device memory, leading to a synchronous external abort. Use memset_io() to clear the slot for QLAFX00, matching the I/O accessors used elsewhere on this ring. Other adapters keep the plain memset() on their DMA-coherent rings. The zero-fill is retained for FX00 because its IOCB builders (e.g. qlafx00_fxdisc_iocb()) copy only part of the entry and rely on the unused tail being pre-zeroed.

  • Oct 14, 2026Koha is vulnerable to SQL injection in the Most-circulated items report.CVE-2026-105107 · Other software · Koha Community · reported by 309f9ea4-e3e9-4c6c-b79d-e8eb01244f2cHigh 7.2

Koha is vulnerable to SQL injection in the Most-circulated items report. The reports/cat_issues_top.pl script (sub calculate) concatenates the user-controlled Criteria, Filter, and Limit request parameters directly into dynamic SQL. Criteria is only prefix-normalized and never validated against an allow-list, so it is inserted verbatim into identifier positions (SELECT DISTINCTROW, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, and the main calculation query). Filter values are concatenated raw into single-quoted LIKE, BETWEEN, and comparison fragments. Limit is appended raw to a LIMIT clause. An authenticated staff user with the reports module permission (not requiring superlibrarian) can inject arbitrary SQL and read any table reachable by the Koha database user, including borrowers (userid and bcrypt password hashes, two-factor secrets, personal data), api_keys, and sessions. The issue is fixed in Koha 24.11.19, 25.05.14, 25.11.08, and 26.05.03, and in the 26.11 development branch. This is the unpatched twin of reports/bor_issues_top.pl (CVE-2026-70372).

  • Oct 13, 2026Multiple Kasa devices contain an improper authentication vulnerability in the local device-management protocol.CVE-2026-108473 · Network & remote access · TP-Link Systems Inc. · reported by f23511db-6c3e-4e32-a477-6aa17d310630High 8.7

Multiple Kasa devices contain an improper authentication vulnerability in the local device-management protocol. An unauthenticated adjacent attacker may send management instructions to an affected device without adequate authentication or authorization, allowing modification of the device state or management settings. Under certain usage conditions involving interaction between the user, mobile application, and device-cloud service, insufficient protection of account-related communications may also expose account information. Successful exploitation may allow an unauthenticated adjacent-network attacker to perform unauthorized device-management actions and disrupt legitimate user control. Under certain conditions, account-related information may also be exposed, potentially leading to compromise of the associated cloud account.

  • Oct 13, 2026Heym builds and runs agentic systems and business-process automations on self-hosted infrastructure.CVE-2026-55376 · Other software · heymrun · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Heym builds and runs agentic systems and business-process automations on self-hosted infrastructure. Prior to 0.0.40, an authenticated user who can create or edit a workflow with an Agent custom Python tool can bypass the blacklist-based sandbox in backend/app/services/python_tool_executor.py because allowed standard-library modules expose operating-system, process, and filesystem capabilities through public attributes that pass _safe_import() and _validate_code_safety(). The runner then executes the supplied tool with exec(), permitting commands and file operations as the backend application user; self-registration affects reachability, but portal triggering alone does not grant code control. This issue is fixed in 0.0.40.

  • Oct 9, 2026RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems.CVE-2026-107838 · Other software · RIOT-OS · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. From version 2023.07 through version 2026.07, nanocoap_fileserver callers in sys/net/application_layer/nanocoap/fileserver.c ignore a failure returned by _resp_init() when coap_build_reply() cannot fit a response header into the response buffer. A remote client can send a CoAP request with a sufficiently large extended token when nanocoap_token_ext is enabled, causing response initialization to fail while _get_file() or _get_directory() continues with stale response state. The path then reaches _calc_szx2() and its pdu->payload_len > reserve assertion, terminating the affected service or device task. No fixed release is available as of this review.

  • Oct 9, 2026RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems.CVE-2026-107837 · Other software · RIOT-OS · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. In 2026.07 and earlier, _receive() in sys/net/gnrc/network_layer/sixlowpan/gnrc_sixlowpan.c can route an undersized packet into SFF fragment handling after only a minimal payload check. The code then interprets the packet as a sixlowpan_frag_t or larger fragment header without verifying that the packet snip contains the required bytes. A remote attacker can send a malformed 6LoWPAN fragment that causes gnrc_sixlowpan_frag_recv() to read beyond the packet buffer, potentially disclosing memory and crashing the network stack. RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. In 2026.07 and earlier, the nanoCoAP client function nanocoap_sock_get_slice() in sys/net/application_layer/nanocoap/sock.c accepts a Block2 response when _block_cb() sees the expected block number without also verifying that the server-controlled szx and derived offset match the requested block geometry. A malicious CoAP server can return the expected block number with a larger block size, causing the derived offset to exceed the client slice offset and making ctx->offset - offset underflow in _2buf_slice(). The resulting buffer-relative calculation can read before the payload buffer and crash the client, causing denial of service and potentially exposing adjacent memory. Uncontrolled recursion in DcmSequenceOfItems::read() and DcmItem::read() in the dcmdata library of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a DICOM dataset containing deeply nested sequences (SQ elements). The dataset can be sent in a C-STORE request to storescp, dcmrecv, dcmqrscp, or any other DICOM service built on DCMTK, because the received dataset is parsed before any authentication takes place. Local tools such as dcmdump also crash when opening such a file. TP-Link Tapo C500 v2.0 contains an out-of-bounds stack write vulnerability in its ONVIF PTZ SOAP handlers. An authenticated ONVIF client can submit an excessive number of preset-related elements, causing writes beyond the bounds of fixed-size stack arrays and resulting in a crash of the affected service. Successful exploitation may allow an authenticated attacker to cause the affected service to crash, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. Repeated exploitation may repeatedly disrupt camera management and PTZ-related functionality until the service recovers or restarts.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: handle lack of space when cleaning up verity items When enable_verity() hits the qgroup limit, rollback_verity() needs its own metadata reservation. When the qgroup limit or lack of space refuses the rollback, the whole filesystem is forced read-only even though the qgroup limit was for one subvolume only. Also orphan cleanup at the next mount fails the same way, so the leftover items are never removed: with -EDQUOT the subvolume stays unreachable, and with -ENOSPC on a full filesystem the next read-write mount fails. Start transactions with btrfs_start_transaction_fallback_global_rsv() in btrfs_orphan_cleanup(), drop_verity_items() and rollback_verity(). Those calls only delete items and free the space in the end, so they may use the global reserve and skip the qgroup limit, which avoids -ENOSPC and -EDQUOT.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memstick: ms_block: destroy io_queue workqueue on removal msb_init_disk() creates the per-card ordered workqueue msb->io_queue with alloc_ordered_workqueue(). It is torn down with destroy_workqueue() only on the init error path; msb_remove() never destroys it. msb_stop() merely flushes the queue, and neither msb_data_clear() nor put_disk() free it. As a result every card insert/remove cycle leaks the workqueue and its kworker, exhausting kernel memory over repeated cycles. Destroy the workqueue in msb_remove() after the disk has been removed and the queue drained.
