  • Aug 27, 2026startServer.ts in the mcp-http-server package of UI-TARS-desktop defaulted its listen address to '::' when no host was given, so startSseAndStreamableHttpMcpSerCVE-2026-81735 · Other software · bytedance · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10

startServer.ts in the mcp-http-server package of UI-TARS-desktop defaulted its listen address to '::' when no host was given, so startSseAndStreamableHttpMcpServer bound the Streamable HTTP and SSE MCP transports to every interface, and its authentication middleware was optional: middlewares are applied only when a caller supplies them. The @agent-infra/mcp-server-commands and @agent-infra/mcp-server-filesystem entry points call startSseAndStreamableHttpMcpServer with a host and port alone and pass no middleware, so neither server required a credential. The commands server exposes a run_command tool that hands its caller-supplied command string to promisify(child_process.exec), so any unauthenticated client able to reach the port could run arbitrary commands as the user running the server, and the filesystem server exposed its file read and write tools on the same terms. The listen default became 127.0.0.1 in commit c2ad42e3eb9b27830db41a3e6f51ca7179d9b168; the package version stayed at 1.2.4 across that change, so the boundary is the commit rather than a release.

openssl_encrypt (pip package openssl-encrypt) versions <= 1.4.8 do not redact the keyserver bearer token passed as the positional argument to 'keyserver set-token' in the --debug argv dump, because sanitize_argv_for_debug fails to sanitize it. As a result the token is printed in cleartext to stderr under --debug (even without --unsafe-show-secrets), persisting the credential in logs and terminal history. Fixed in 1.4.9.

openssl-encrypt before 1.4.9 fails to redact the file password in its --debug argv dump when the password is supplied via bundled short-option spellings (e.g. -apHunter2) or abbreviated long-option spellings (e.g. --passw). The sanitizer only recognized exact option names, --option=value forms, and tokens starting with -p, so these spellings bypass the redaction chokepoint and the cleartext password is written to stderr. Anyone with access to that output (terminal scrollback, merged 2>&1 output, CI job logs, or the GUI's persistent debug log) can recover the password.

  • Aug 21, 2026KEDA is a Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling component.CVE-2026-53572 · Other software · kedacore · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

KEDA is a Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling component. Prior to 2.20.0, pkg/scalers/postgresql_scaler.go constructs libpq-style connection strings from tenant-controlled host, port, userName, dbName, sslmode, and password values, while escapePostgreConnectionParameter() only quotes values containing a literal space. Tabs, newlines, carriage returns, form feeds, vertical tabs, quotes, and backslashes can therefore create additional key-value tokens when pgx parses the string. An attacker able to create or modify a TriggerAuthentication or ScaledObject can inject host or sslmode parameters, redirect the database connection to an attacker-controlled server, expose credentials, or disable intended TLS protection. This issue is fixed in version 2.20.0.

  • Aug 21, 2026The filestore backend in pkg/object/file.go, used for file:// stores and as a common juicefs sync destination, derived every operation's target from path(key), CVE-2026-77763 · Other software · juicedata · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

The filestore backend in pkg/object/file.go, used for file:// stores and as a common juicefs sync destination, derived every operation's target from path(key), which returned either filepath.Join(d.root, key) or filepath.Clean(d.root + key) with no check that the result stayed beneath the root. Put, Get, Head, Delete, Chmod, Chown, Symlink and Readlink all consumed that value directly. Object keys enumerated from a source object store during a sync are not constrained the way local filesystem names are, so a key containing traversal segments causes juicefs to write attacker-supplied content to a path outside the intended local destination, and no error is returned. An operator syncing from a bucket whose contents they do not fully control, such as a shared or public bucket or one an attacker can write to, is therefore exposed to a file write at an attacker-influenced location. The fix changes path() to return an error and rejects any key whose resolved path escapes the root.

ArcadeDB before 26.8.1 (arcadedb-gremlin, affected <= 26.7.3) contains a remote code execution vulnerability in its Gremlin query engine. Although the engine defaults to the documented-secure java (gremlin-lang) engine, ArcadeGremlin.executeStatement() silently falls back to the insecure Groovy engine whenever a request carries any query parameter and the query does not parse as gremlin-lang. An authenticated user with any database role, including a read-only reader, can submit a parameterized Gremlin query to trigger the Groovy fallback and execute arbitrary operating system commands as the ArcadeDB server process user.

  • Aug 18, 2026ArcadeDB's Gremlin wire-protocol plugin (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-gremlin) in versions <= 26.7.3 enforces authentication (SASL PLAIN) but performs no authorizationCVE-2026-75853 · Other software · ArcadeData · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

ArcadeDB's Gremlin wire-protocol plugin (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-gremlin) in versions <= 26.7.3 enforces authentication (SASL PLAIN) but performs no authorization: it never checks database access permissions (canAccessToDatabase) and never binds the authenticated principal into the engine. As a result, any valid server credential — even one provisioned for zero or one unrelated database — can read, write, and drop data in any database on the server by selecting a target database via a traversal-source alias, completely bypassing the engine's per-type/read-only/UPDATE_SCHEMA ACLs. • Aug 18, 2026ArcadeDB server (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-server) in versions 26.7.3 and earlier fails to propagate the authenticated principal to asynchronous command worker threCVE-2026-75851 · Other software · ArcadeData · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4

ArcadeDB server (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-server) in versions 26.7.3 and earlier fails to propagate the authenticated principal to asynchronous command worker threads. When an HTTP command is submitted with awaitResponse:false, it executes on an async worker whose DatabaseContext has no bound user, causing the scripting authorization gate to become a no-op. A user with only read access to a single database can submit an asynchronous JavaScript (language=js) command via the /api/v1/command endpoint to run code with unrestricted host access (e.g., database.getSecurity().createUser) and create a server-wide administrator, escalating to full administrative control. ArcadeDB before 26.8.1 fails to bind the authenticated principal (setCurrentUser) on its batch and time-series HTTP handlers. Because no principal is bound on the worker thread, the engine's fine-grained per-type ACL layer (LocalBucket.checkPermissionsOnFile) does not execute for these handlers. In deployments that use per-type or per-group ACLs, a user with database access but only limited per-type permissions can read from and write to types they are not authorized to access by submitting requests to the batch/time-series endpoints. Deployments that rely solely on database-level access control are not affected.

The SureDash – Community, Courses & Member Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'draweropenverposition' Block/Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload is stored inside the block-delimiter HTML comment's JSON, which wp_kses_post does not neutralize on save, and is only interpolated into the rendered style attribute at display time without esc_attr() escaping, allowing a double-quote to break out of the attribute and introduce arbitrary HTML event handlers.

@cedar-policy/authorization-for-expressjs is an open-source Express.js middleware that integrates Cedar authorization into Express applications by mapping HTTP requests to Cedar actions and evaluating authorization policies before allowing requests to proceed. Versions prior to 0.3.0 have an issue where, under certain circumstances, the middleware matches incoming requests against Cedar action mappings using req.originalUrl, which includes the query string, while Express routes requests using only the path component. The middleware uses req.originalUrl to match incoming requests against Cedar action mappings. In Express, req.originalUrl includes the query string, while route matching uses only the path. This creates a divergence between what Cedar authorizes and what Express executes. When an application defines separate actions for overlapping path prefixes with different authorization requirements (for example, GET /users for listing all users with admin-only access, and GET /users/{id} for retrieving a single user with any authenticated user access), an actor can append a query string to bypass the more restrictive policy. • Aug 3, 2026Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow authentication bypass because _verify_encrypted_assertion accepts an EncryptedAssertion whose decrypted content cCVE-2026-18108 · Other software · TIMLEGGE · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8

Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow authentication bypass because _verify_encrypted_assertion accepts an EncryptedAssertion whose decrypted content carries no signature. _verify_encrypted_assertion decrypts the EncryptedAssertion and returns it as verified when it carries no signature, via "return $xml unless $xpath->exists('dsig:Signature', $assert);". The signature check and the trust anchor check that follow run only when a signature is present, so a decrypted assertion with no dsig:Signature element reaches new_from_xml unverified and its NameID and attributes are read into the assertion object. An SP's encryption certificate is published in its SAML metadata so the IdP can encrypt to it, so any party can encrypt an unsigned assertion to that certificate, wrap it in a samlp:Response, and post it to the assertion consumer service. Any caller that configures a decryption key_file, and so accepts EncryptedAssertions, takes identity fields from an assertion that no trust anchor covers, and an unauthenticated party can authenticate as an arbitrary user. Callers with no key_file configured do not decrypt and are unaffected.

A flaw was found in aap-gateway, a component of Ansible Automation Platform's Event-Driven Ansible (EDA). An unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS) authentication for event streams. This is achieved by manipulating the event stream URL and forging the HTTP Subject header. The system also inadvertently discloses the expected certificate subject in error messages, which simplifies the attack. This vulnerability allows an attacker to inject arbitrary events into EDA, potentially triggering automated workflows.
