May 29, 2026Simple Divi Shortcode: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-9714 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Simple Divi Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id' parameter of the [showmodule] shortcode in versions up to, and including, 1.2 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the showmodule_shortcode() function, which concatenates the 'id' shortcode attribute directly into a dynamically constructed shortcode string without applying esc_attr() or any escaping, allowing an attacker to break out of the attribute context and inject arbitrary HTML. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

May 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sound: ua101: fix division by zero at probe Add a missing sanity check for bNrChannels in CVE-2026-46184 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sound: ua101: fix division by zero at probe Add a missing sanity check for bNrChannels in detect_usb_format() to prevent a division by zero in playback_urb_complete() and capture_urb_complete(). USB core does not validate class-specific descriptor fields such as bNrChannels, so drivers must verify them before use. If a device provides bNrChannels = 0, frame_bytes becomes zero and is later used as a divisor in the URB completion handlers, leading to a kernel crash.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid10: fix divide-by-zero in setup_geo() with zero far_copies setup_geo() extracts near_copies (nc) and far_copies (fc) from the user-provided layout parameter without checking for zero. When fc=0 with the "improved" far set layout selected, 'geo->far_set_size = disks / fc' triggers a divide-by-zero. Validate nc and fc immediately after extraction, returning -1 if either is zero.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_osf: fix divide-by-zero in OSF_WSS_MODULO nf_osf_match_one() computes ctx->window % f->wss.val in the OSF_WSS_MODULO branch with no guard for f->wss.val == 0. A CAP_NET_ADMIN user can add such a fingerprint via nfnetlink; a subsequent matching TCP SYN divides by zero and panics the kernel. Reject the bogus fingerprint in nfnl_osf_add_callback() above the per-option for-loop. f->wss is per-fingerprint, not per-option, so the check must run regardless of f->opt_num (including 0). Also reject wss.wc >= OSF_WSS_MAX; nf_osf_match_one() already treats that as "should not happen". May 21, 2026Divi Form Builder: Privilege escalationCVE-2026-5118 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Divi Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in versions up to, and including, 5.1.2. This is due to the plugin accepting a user-controlled 'role' parameter from POST data during user registration without validating it against the form's configured default_user_role setting. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create administrator accounts by tampering with the role parameter during registration.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: fix divide-by-zero in tipc_sk_filter_connect() A user can set conn_timeout to any value via setsockopt(TIPC_CONN_TIMEOUT), including values less than 4. When a SYN is rejected with TIPC_ERR_OVERLOAD and the retry path in tipc_sk_filter_connect() executes: delay %= (tsk->conn_timeout / 4); If conn_timeout is in the range [0, 3], the integer division yields 0, and the modulo operation triggers a divide-by-zero exception, causing a kernel oops/panic. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_skbedit: fix divide-by-zero in tcf_skbedit_hash() Commit 38a6f0865796 ("net: sched: support hash selecting tx queue") added SKBEDIT_F_TXQ_SKBHASH support. The inclusive range size is computed as: mapping_mod = queue_mapping_max - queue_mapping + 1; The range size can be 65536 when the requested range covers all possible u16 queue IDs (e.g. queue_mapping=0 and queue_mapping_max=U16_MAX). That value cannot be represented in a u16 and previously wrapped to 0, so tcf_skbedit_hash() could trigger a divide-by-zero: queue_mapping += skb_get_hash(skb) % params->mapping_mod; Compute mapping_mod in a wider type and reject ranges larger than U16_MAX to prevent params->mapping_mod from becoming 0 and avoid the crash.

May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero in occ_show_power_1() In occ_show_power_1() case 1, the CVE-2026-31770 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero in occ_show_power_1() In occ_show_power_1() case 1, the accumulator is divided by update_tag without checking for zero. If no samples have been collected yet (e.g. during early boot when the sensor block is included but hasn't been updated), update_tag is zero, causing a kernel divide-by-zero crash. The 2019 fix in commit 211186cae14d ("hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero issue") only addressed occ_get_powr_avg() used by occ_show_power_2() and occ_show_power_a0(). This separate code path in occ_show_power_1() was missed. Fix this by reusing the existing occ_get_powr_avg() helper, which already handles the zero-sample case and uses mul_u64_u32_div() to multiply before dividing for better precision. Move the helper above occ_show_power_1() so it is visible at the call site. [groeck: Fix alignment problems reported by checkpatch]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_hfsc: fix divide-by-zero in rtsc_min() m2sm() converts a u32 slope to a u64 scaled value. For large inputs (e.g. m1=4000000000), the result can reach 2^32. rtsc_min() stores the difference of two such u64 values in a u32 variable `dsm` and uses it as a divisor. Mar 31, 2026Captcha Protect is a Traefik middleware to add an anti-bot challenge to individual IPs in a subnet when traffic spikes are detected from that subnet.CVE-2026-34206 · Other software · libops · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
Captcha Protect is a Traefik middleware to add an anti-bot challenge to individual IPs in a subnet when traffic spikes are detected from that subnet. Prior to version 1.12.2, a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in github.com/libops/captcha-protect. The challenge page accepted a client-supplied destination value and rendered it into HTML using Go's text/template. Because text/template does not perform contextual HTML escaping, an attacker could supply a crafted destination value that breaks out of the hidden input attribute and injects arbitrary script into the challenge page. This issue has been patched in version 1.12.2.

Versions of the package jsrsasign before 11.1.1 are vulnerable to Division by zero due to the RSASetPublic/KEYUTIL parsing path in ext/rsa.js and the BigInteger.modPowInt reduction logic in ext/jsbn.js. An attacker can force RSA public-key operations (e.g., verify and encryption) to collapse to deterministic zero outputs and hide “invalid key” errors by supplying a JWK whose modulus decodes to zero.

Mar 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: rivafb: fix divide error in nv3_arb() A userspace program can trigger the RIVA NV3 CVE-2026-23266 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: rivafb: fix divide error in nv3_arb() A userspace program can trigger the RIVA NV3 arbitration code by calling the FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO ioctl on /dev/fb*. When doing so, the driver recomputes FIFO arbitration parameters in nv3_arb(), using state->mclk_khz (derived from the PRAMDAC MCLK PLL) as a divisor without validating it first. In a normal setup, state->mclk_khz is provided by the real hardware and is non-zero. However, an attacker can construct a malicious or misconfigured device (e.g. a crafted/emulated PCI device) that exposes a bogus PLL configuration, causing state->mclk_khz to become zero. Once nv3_get_param() calls nv3_arb(), the division by state->mclk_khz in the gns calculation causes a divide error and crashes the kernel. Fix this by checking whether state->mclk_khz is zero and bailing out before doing the division. The following log reveals it: rivafb: setting virtual Y resolution to 2184 divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP KASAN PTI CPU: 0 PID: 2187 Comm: syz-executor.0 Not tainted 5.18.0-rc1+ #1 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS rel-1.12.0-59-gc9ba5276e321-pre

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: comedi: fix divide-by-zero in comedi_buf_munge() The comedi_buf_munge() function performs a modulo operation `async->munge_chan %= async->cmd.chanlist_len` without first checking if chanlist_len is zero. If a user program submits a command with chanlist_len set to zero, this causes a divide-by-zero error when the device processes data in the interrupt handler path. Add a check for zero chanlist_len at the beginning of the function, similar to the existing checks for !map and CMDF_RAWDATA flag. When chanlist_len is zero, update munge_count and return early, indicating the data was handled without munging. This prevents potential kernel panics from malformed user commands.
