  • Aug 27, 2026Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage.CVE-2026-54330 · Other software · ceph · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage. In versions prior to 20.2.4 and 19.2.6, the Ceph Object Gateway (RGW) SigV4 handler does not reject requests that carry x-amz-* headers absent from the signed header set, allowing anyone holding a presigned URL to attach arbitrary unsigned x-amz-* headers that RGW will honor. AWS S3 requires every x-amz-* header on a SigV4 request to be signed and rejects requests bearing additional unsigned headers, but RGW validates only the headers listed in X-Amz-SignedHeaders and ignores any extra ones, so they take effect without being covered by the signature. By adding such headers to a presigned PUT URL, an attacker can grant themselves more capabilities than the URL's signer intended and escalate their privileges. This issue is fixed in versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6.

  • Aug 27, 2026Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage.CVE-2026-50152 · Other software · ceph · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage. In versions prior to 20.2.4 and 19.2.6, the Monitor subscription handler fails to properly authorize access to the configuration-key store, allowing any CephX user with only  `mon allow r` capabilities to read the entire store by sending a single crafted MMonSubscribe message. The config-key store holds sensitive secrets including OSD LUKS disk-encryption passphrases and, on cephadm-managed clusters, the SSH private key that cephadm uses to reach every host in the cluster. Because that key grants root on every node under the default cephadm configuration, a low-privileged read-only account can escalate to full cluster and host compromise. This issue is fixed in versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6

  • Aug 27, 2026Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage.CVE-2026-39944 · Other software · ceph · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage. In versions prior to 20.2.4 and 19.2.6, the RADOS Gateway (RGW) protects STS session tokens with an AES-128-CBC handler that provides no message authentication, allowing an attacker who holds any valid STS token to tamper with it undetected and escalate to full RGW administrative access. Because the ciphertext is unauthenticated, the attacker can perform a CBC bit-flip on the acct_type, perm_type, and is_admin fields of their own token, and a forged is_admin value triggers a global administrative override that bypasses all capability checks. The attack is reachable remotely over the RGW S3 endpoint and is a self-contained modification of a token the attacker already possesses, requiring no encryption oracle and no network observation. It requires only a single valid STS token, which need not carry any elevated privileges, with STS enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6.

  • Aug 27, 2026Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage.CVE-2025-30156 · Other software · ceph · reported by GitHubHigh 8.9

Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage. In versions prior to 20.2.4 and 19.2.6, the CephX authentication protocol encrypts tickets with AES-128-CBC in an unauthenticated mode that uses a hard-coded initialization vector and no message authentication, allowing an attacker to forge credentials and gain cluster-wide access. Because the ciphertext is malleable and the monitor will encrypt attacker-chosen entity names, an attacker holding one low-privilege key and able to observe CephX traffic can use the monitor as an encryption oracle and splice ciphertext blocks into valid tickets for privileged entities such as Manager, MDS, and OSD. The same lack of authentication also lets an attacker with CephX permissions escalate privileges by flipping a single bit in a service ticket to set its allow_all field to true. This issue is fixed in versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6.

disconf (Distributed Configuration Management Platform) 2.6.36 is vulnerable to Incorrect Access Control. The config-fetching APIs /api/config/item, /api/config/file, /api/config/list and /api/config/simple/list are exposed without authentication. • Aug 26, 2026SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for files and blobs.CVE-2026-77611 · Other software · seaweedfs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for files and blobs. In versions prior to 4.40, an authenticated S3 principal with permissions scoped to a nested object key can overwrite a different object outside that scope by calling PutObjectAcl on the key it is allowed to access. The handler authorizes the request against the requested nested key but then writes the updated entry back to the bucket root rather than the key's actual parent directory, so an ACL change on allowed/protected.txt is instead applied to protected.txt at the bucket root. Because the update carries the full entry rather than only ACL metadata, an existing target object is overwritten with the content, metadata, owner information, and ACL of the scoped object, bypassing the object-level action scoping configured through the static S3 identity file. This issue is fixed in version 4.40.

  • Aug 26, 2026SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for files and blobs.CVE-2026-77368 · Other software · seaweedfs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6

SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for files and blobs. In version 4.39, the filer's TUS resumable-upload handler checks JWT allowed_prefixes scoping only when a session is created, letting a low-privilege tenant hijack another tenant's upload session to write content to filer paths their own token forbids. The HEAD, PATCH, and DELETE verbs that act on an existing session by its id never verify that the session's stored target path falls within the caller's allowed prefixes, so a tenant who obtains another upload's session identifier can PATCH attacker bytes into it and, on completion, have the file land at the victim's out-of-scope path. The same token can also DELETE other tenants' sessions and HEAD them to read upload progress and size, defeating the JWT prefix isolation. This vulnerability only affects deployments that configure filer JWT signing and have TUS uploads enabled. This issue is fixed in version 4.40.

  • Aug 26, 2026SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for files and blobs.CVE-2026-77317 · Other software · seaweedfs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for files and blobs. In versions from 3.88 through 4.39, the SFTP server evaluates configured path permissions with a literal string-prefix comparison, so a user scoped to a path is also granted the same access to any sibling path whose name merely begins with the same characters. A user granted access to /tenants/alice therefore also matches /tenants/alice-archive, /tenants/alice2, and similar siblings, because the check does not require a path-component boundary. An authenticated low-privilege SFTP user with a root home directory and narrow path permissions can thereby cross the configured ACL boundary to read another tenant's files, and to overwrite them if granted write, all through the documented SFTP service with its own valid credentials. This issue is fixed in version 4.40.

  • Aug 26, 2026SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for files and blobs.CVE-2026-77298 · Other software · seaweedfs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system for files and blobs. In versions 4.39 and earlier, the S3 API accepts an external OIDC JWT sent directly in the Authorization header and maps it to an IAM role without enforcing that role's trust policy, so a federated user can assume a role they are not permitted to hold. The standard STS AssumeRoleWithWebIdentity path rejects such a token when the role's trust policy does not trust the token's federated provider, but the direct S3 bearer path validates only the token itself and then authenticates as the mapped role and evaluates that role's attached S3 permissions. As a result, a valid OIDC user whose token would be denied the role through STS can obtain the role's S3 access, including object read, write, and delete, by presenting the raw OIDC JWT directly to the S3 API. This issue is fixed in version 4.40

Issue summary: OpenSSL CMP response validation passed an unexpected response sender distinguished name directly as the format string to `ERR_raise_data()`. Impact summary: A malicious or intercepted CMP endpoint can crash a CMP client that enforces an expected sender or uses a pinned server certificate whose subject becomes the default expected sender. CWE: CWE-134 (Use of Externally-Controlled Format String) Description: When validating a received CMP message, ossl_cmp_msg_check_update() converts the peer-supplied sender distinguished name with X509_NAME_oneline() and passes it directly as the format argument to ERR_raise_data(). Percent characters survive the conversion, so a sender DN such as "CN=%s%n" reaches BIO_vsnprintf() as an attacker-controlled format string with no matching variadic arguments. This path is only reached when the caller configures an expected sender or pins a server certificate, which is the normal configuration for a CMP client validating server responses. Since the attacker controls the format string but none of the variadic arguments, such specifiers as %s and %n dereference or write through unrelated stack contents and crash the client. The reliabl

RansomLook fails to enforce the privacy status of ransomware groups and markets when distributing newly collected victim posts to external notification channels. The post-processing logic checks whether an individual post is marked private but does not verify whether the group or market to which the post belongs is configured as private. As a result, newly parsed victim information associated with a private group or market may be automatically published through enabled Rocket.Chat, Mastodon, Bluesky, and e-mail notification channels despite the entity being explicitly configured to prevent public disclosure. A similar issue affects the public MISP feed. The feed previously determined privacy using groupinfo(), which only queries the group database. Consequently, victim information associated with private markets could be added to the public MISP feed because the corresponding market privacy flag was not evaluated. An attacker or other unauthorized party able to access these public notification channels or the MISP feed may obtain victim information that was intended to remain private. Depending on the collected data, this may disclose victim names, ransomware activity, incident

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xprtrdma: Decouple req recycling from RPC completion rl_kref formerly served two distinct lifetimes through a single refcount: it gated when a Reply could wake its RPC task, and it gated when an rpcrdma_req could return to its free pool. The marshal path took the Send-side reference only when SGEs needed DMA-unmap (sc_unmap_count > 0), which made a Send carrying only pre-registered buffers an exception: the Reply handler dropped rl_kref from 1 to 0 and freed the req while the HCA might still be DMA-reading from its send buffer. Give rl_kref a narrower job. The RPC layer takes one reference when slot allocation hands a req out. rpcrdma_prepare_send_sges() takes a Send-side reference unconditionally after WR preparation succeeds. xprt_rdma_free_slot() and xprt_rdma_bc_free_rqst() drop the RPC-layer reference; rpcrdma_sendctx_unmap() drops the Send-side reference. The req returns to its free pool only after both owners have signed off. The existing kref_init(&req->rl_kref) call in rpcrdma_prepare_send_sges() is removed. • Aug 14, 2026CrateDB is a distributed SQL database.CVE-2026-49989 · Other software · crate · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

CrateDB is a distributed SQL database. Prior to versions 6.2.8 and 6.3.2, any authenticated user can read or delete any blob whose SHA-1 digest they know, and can plant new blobs unconditionally, in any blob table, regardless of `GRANT`s. CrateDB has two ways to access blob storage: SQL (`SELECT ... FROM blob.<table>` and friends) and the blob HTTP API (`GET|PUT|DELETE /_blobs/{table}/{digest}`). The SQL path goes through `AccessControl`, which is what enforces privilege grants; that's why `SELECT digest FROM blob.secret_blobs` fails for a user who has no grants on the table. The HTTP path authenticates the request but never asks `AccessControl` whether the authenticated user is allowed to touch the table. So a user with no grants gets `MissingPrivilegeException` from SQL and `200 OK` plus the blob bytes from `GET /_blobs/secret_blobs/<digest>`. Deployments that don't use `BLOB TABLE` are unaffected. Authentication itself still works; the bug is strictly that being authenticated as anyone is treated as sufficient for any blob op. Versions 6.2.8 and 6.3.2 fix the issue.

Prior to 1.0.0-rc.1, RustFS Object Lock enforcement in crates/ecstore/src/bucket/object_lock/objectlock_sys.rs lets check_object_lock_for_deletion, delete_prefix, and lifecycle and scanner sweeps treat ConfigNotFound, unreadable .metadata.bin data, or unparseable metadata as no lock configuration, allowing objects under COMPLIANCE retention to be deleted or expired. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-rc.1.

  • Aug 11, 2026SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system.CVE-2026-73080 · Other software · seaweedfs · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system. Prior to 4.24, VolumeServer.FetchAndWriteNeedle in weed/server/volume_grpc_remote.go fetches a caller-supplied remote endpoint through weed/remote_storage/s3/s3_storage_client.go and writes the response into a needle. The RPC performs no authentication and no target validation, allowing anyone who can reach a volume server's gRPC port to cause requests to arbitrary hosts, including loopback, link-local, RFC 1918, and cloud metadata endpoints such as 169.254.169.254, and read the response. On cloud deployments, this can disclose instance metadata and IAM credentials and reach otherwise unexposed internal services. The volume server gRPC plane is unauthenticated by default, and configuring documented JWT signing keys does not protect this RPC. This issue is fixed in version 4.24.

  • Aug 11, 2026Sub2API is an AI API gateway platform designed to distribute and manage API quotas from AI product subscriptions.CVE-2026-73079 · Other software · Wei-Shaw · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

Sub2API is an AI API gateway platform designed to distribute and manage API quotas from AI product subscriptions. From 0.1.135, to 0.1.168, platform API keys issued to tenants are exchanged for upstream requests made with shared provider accounts (ChatGPT/Codex OAuth, OpenAI platform keys, or an operator-configured base URL) that belong to the operator, not to the caller. The `POST /responses/*subpath` wildcard routes spliced the client-supplied subpath into the upstream URL with no validation. This lets an authenticated tenant relay requests to arbitrary upstream endpoints using pooled account credentials via a path traversal. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.1.169.

  • Jul 30, 2026An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in Samba's Kerberos Key Distribution Center's (KDC) password change (kpasswd) service.CVE-2026-58216 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.3

An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in Samba's Kerberos Key Distribution Center's (KDC) password change (kpasswd) service. When processing malformed ASN.1-encoded Kerberos password change request, Samba server miscalculates the structure size and attempts to read up to six bytes beyond the end of the allocated buffer. While this out-of-bounds read typically results in a harmless decryption failure, if the read hits unmapped memory, it causes the KDC process to crash. An authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted kpasswd request containing malformed ASN.1 data to trigger the out-of-bounds read, which may cause the KDC process to terminate, resulting in a denial of service.
