  • Apr 9, 2026Flux notification-controller is the event forwarder and notification dispatcher for the GitOps Toolkit controllers.CVE-2026-40109 · Other software · fluxcd · reported by GitHubLow 3.1

Flux notification-controller is the event forwarder and notification dispatcher for the GitOps Toolkit controllers. Prior to 1.8.3, the gcr Receiver type in Flux notification-controller does not validate the email claim of Google OIDC tokens used for Pub/Sub push authentication. This allows any valid Google-issued token, to authenticate against the Receiver webhook endpoint, triggering unauthorized Flux reconciliations. Exploitation requires the attacker to know the Receiver's webhook URL. The webhook path is generated as /hook/sha256sum(token+name+namespace), where the token is a random string stored in a Kubernetes Secret. There is no API or endpoint that enumerates webhook URLs. An attacker cannot discover the path without either having access to the cluster and permissions to read the Receiver's .status.webhookPath in the target namespace, or obtaining the URL through other means (e.g. leaked secrets or access to Pub/Sub config). Upon successful authentication, the controller triggers a reconciliation for all resources listed in the Receiver's .spec.resources. However, the practical impact is limited: Flux reconciliation is idempotent, so if the desired state in the configured

OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.3.7 contain a shell approval gating bypass vulnerability in system.run dispatch-wrapper handling that allows attackers to skip shell wrapper approval requirements. The approval classifier and execution planner apply different depth-boundary rules, permitting exactly four transparent dispatch wrappers like repeated env invocations before /bin/sh -c to bypass security=allowlist approval gating by misaligning classification with execution planning.

  • May 24, 2024In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-mq: cancel blk-mq dispatch work in both blk_cleanup_queue and disk_release() For avoidCVE-2021-47552 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-mq: cancel blk-mq dispatch work in both blk_cleanup_queue and disk_release() For avoiding to slow down queue destroy, we don't call blk_mq_quiesce_queue() in blk_cleanup_queue(), instead of delaying to cancel dispatch work in blk_release_queue(). However, this way has caused kernel oops[1], reported by Changhui. The log shows that scsi_device can be freed before running blk_release_queue(), which is expected too since scsi_device is released after the scsi disk is closed and the scsi_device is removed. Fixes the issue by canceling blk-mq dispatch work in both blk_cleanup_queue() and disk_release(): 1) when disk_release() is run, the disk has been closed, and any sync dispatch activities have been done, so canceling dispatch work is enough to quiesce filesystem I/O dispatch activity. 2) in blk_cleanup_queue(), we only focus on passthrough request, and passthrough request is always explicitly allocated & freed by its caller, so once queue is frozen, all sync dispatch activity for passthrough request has been done, then it is enough to just cancel dispatch work for avoiding any dispatch activity. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: Fix the lifetime of the bo cursor memory The cleanup can be dispatched while the atomic update is still active, which means that the memory acquired in the atomic update needs to not be invalidated by the cleanup. The buffer objects in vmw_plane_state instead of using the builtin map_and_cache were trying to handle the lifetime of the mapped memory themselves, leading to crashes. Use the map_and_cache instead of trying to manage the lifetime of the buffer objects held by the vmw_plane_state. Fixes kernel oops'es in IGT's kms_cursor_legacy forked-bo.

  • Aug 17, 2023Dispatch is an open source security incident management tool.CVE-2023-40171 · Other software · Netflix · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Dispatch is an open source security incident management tool. The server response includes the JWT Secret Key used for signing JWT tokens in error message when the `Dispatch Plugin - Basic Authentication Provider` plugin encounters an error when attempting to decode a JWT token. Any Dispatch users who own their instance and rely on the `Dispatch Plugin - Basic Authentication Provider` plugin for authentication may be impacted, allowing for any account to be taken over within their own instance. This could be done by using the secret to sign attacker crafted JWTs. If you think that you may be impacted, we strongly suggest you to rotate the secret stored in the `DISPATCH_JWT_SECRET` envvar in the `.env` file. This issue has been addressed in commit `b1942a4319` which has been included in the `20230817` release. users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
