Oct 28, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Unauthorized access of data and triggering of server-side actionsCVE-2026-2839 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data and triggering of server-side actions in all versions up to, and including, 0.9.2.7. This is due to multiple AJAX handlers registered for unauthenticated users (`wp_ajax_nopriv_*`) that fail to implement proper `current_user_can()` authorization checks. While these handlers use ACF's `acf_verify_ajax()` function to validate cryptographic nonces, the `acf_nonce` values are generated for guest users and publicly exposed in the page source of any frontend page utilizing an ACF form. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the guest nonce and bypass WordPress visibility permissions, leading to the unauthorized disclosure of post titles and internal Flexible Content layout structures. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 0.9.2.4.

Oct 27, 2026jackson-databind validates the outer class of a class-name type ID but accepts attacker-selected classes inside its generic arguments, even when those classes vCVE-2026-110879 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cCritical 9.8
jackson-databind validates the outer class of a class-name type ID but accepts attacker-selected classes inside its generic arguments, even when those classes violate the declared type or would be rejected as direct type IDs. This bypasses the generic-argument validation added for CVE-2026-54512 (GHSA-j3rv-43j4-c7qm), of which this is an incomplete fix. DatabindContext._resolveAndValidateGeneric() checks the outer class against the declared base type and then passes each argument from the type ID to _validateTypeParameter(), which validates the argument against the outer base type rather than enforcing its corresponding declared generic binding. It also invokes validators with arguments that have not passed the subtype check those validators expect. Under the default DefaultBaseTypeLimitingValidator this accepts an unrelated class inside a generic subtype even when the same class is rejected as a direct type ID. Where an allowIfBaseType(...) rule approves the outer type, Jackson substitutes LaissezFaireSubTypeValidator, so the configured validator no longer restricts the embedded arguments. The element type of a plain array type ID such as [Lpkg.Gadget; is likewise left unvalida

Oct 27, 2026ProtobufParser._readStringKey() reads the length prefix of a protobuf map entry's string key into an attacker-controlled int and then checks (_inputPtr + len) <CVE-2026-110747 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5
ProtobufParser._readStringKey() reads the length prefix of a protobuf map entry's string key into an attacker-controlled int and then checks (_inputPtr + len) <= _inputEnd using signed arithmetic. For values near Integer.MAX_VALUE the addition overflows to a negative value and the check passes even when the input contains no key data. The parser then calls _finishShortText(len), which expands the text buffer to the declared length via TextBuffer.expandCurrentSegment and Arrays.copyOf, throwing OutOfMemoryError: Requested array size exceeds VM limit. An 8-byte malformed message containing a map entry with a declared key length of 0x7FFFFFFF is sufficient. Configured StreamReadConstraints, including maxStringLength, maxNameLength, maxDocumentLength and maxNestingDepth, do not prevent the failure. Applications running with -XX:+ExitOnOutOfMemoryError terminate the JVM. This is the same integer-overflow pattern addressed for other call sites in the remediation associated with CVE-2026-104016 and CVE-2026-104017; the map-key call site was corrected on the 3.x branches only, leaving the corresponding 2.x branches unguarded. Oct 27, 2026The asynchronous Smile parser (NonBlockingByteArrayParser) uses a raw-binary length prefix taken from untrusted input to allocate a byte[] before the body is reCVE-2026-104895 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5
The asynchronous Smile parser (NonBlockingByteArrayParser) uses a raw-binary length prefix taken from untrusted input to allocate a byte[] before the body is read, with no upper bound and no overflow check. On the raw-binary marker 0xFD, _decodeVInt() computes (value << 6) + (i & 0x3F) without the (value >>> 25) != 0 overflow guard present in the blocking SmileParser._readUnsignedVInt, and _startRawBinary then allocates the declared length immediately. A Smile feed of roughly ten bytes can therefore force an eager allocation of approximately 2 GB, producing an OutOfMemoryError on reactive or asynchronous Smile endpoints. A VInt crafted to overflow int yields a negative length and a NegativeArraySizeException, a RuntimeException that is not a JacksonException and so escapes the parser contract. Either outcome crashes the request or processing thread. This is the same class of issue as CVE-2020-28491 in the CBOR parser of this library, which was fixed with a LONGEST_NON_CHUNKED_BINARY guard; the asynchronous Smile parser never received the equivalent guard. No privileges or user interaction beyond the ability to submit data for parsing are required.

Oct 27, 2026ProtobufParser parses length-prefixed protobuf string and bytes fields by checking (_inputPtr + len) <= _inputEnd and then, on the fast path, calling _finishShoCVE-2026-104016 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5
ProtobufParser parses length-prefixed protobuf string and bytes fields by checking (_inputPtr + len) <= _inputEnd and then, on the fast path, calling _finishShortText(len). Both use 32-bit signed integer arithmetic. When an attacker supplies a varint decoding to a length near Integer.MAX_VALUE, _inputPtr + len overflows to a negative value, the bounds check passes, and _finishShortText(len) reaches TextBuffer.expandCurrentSegment(len), which performs Arrays.copyOf with no cap and throws OutOfMemoryError: Requested array size exceeds VM limit. The JVM refuses arrays larger than Integer.MAX_VALUE - 8 before consulting available heap, so -Xmx tuning does not mitigate the issue. StreamReadConstraints.maxStringLength and maxDocumentLength do not gate this path: a 33-byte payload is far below any document-length cap and the string-length check does not fire before the allocation. This was confirmed empirically against shipping artifacts with maxStringLength, maxDocumentLength and maxNestingDepth all configured. A February 2026 hardening commit added the equivalent overflow guard to the packed-array-length and message-length paths but left the string-length call sites unguarded. No

When coalescing adjacent text nodes in addText and fosterParent, appending to an existing TextNode's Data via string concatenation (n.Data += text) reallocated and copied the accumulated string on every token. Inputs containing many short text runs separated by ignored end tags (such as "a</x>") caused O(n^2) allocations and byte copies. Oct 27, 2026dd-trace is the Datadog APM client for Node.js.CVE-2026-116693 · Other software · DataDog · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
dd-trace is the Datadog APM client for Node.js. From 2.0.0 until 5.131.1 and 6.20.1, the default DD_TRACE_OBFUSCATION_QUERY_STRING_REGEXP can perform excessive backtracking on attacker-controlled URL query strings. The expression is applied synchronously while recording HTTP URL metadata, allowing a crafted request to consume excessive CPU, stall request processing, and make the instrumented application unavailable. This issue is fixed in versions 5.131.1 and 6.20.1.

Oct 27, 2026MISP Guard, a proxy that enforces security policies on MISP feed data, contained an incomplete validation check for required taxonomy tags.CVE-2026-118173 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.1
MISP Guard, a proxy that enforces security policies on MISP feed data, contained an incomplete validation check for required taxonomy tags. When a feed event or its attributes carried tags belonging to a required taxonomy (for example, TLP), the guard only verified that at least one tag of that taxonomy matched the configured allowed list. It did not verify that every tag of the required taxonomy present on the event or attribute was in the allowed list. As a result, an event or attribute could simultaneously carry an allowed tag (e.g., tlp:clear) and a non-allowed tag (e.g., tlp:red or tlp:amber) and still pass the guard's policy check. This allowed data marked with a higher classification or sensitivity level to be distributed through feeds configured to only distribute lower-classification data, effectively bypassing the intended data-handling restrictions. The vulnerability affected both event-level and attribute-level tag validation, including attributes nested within objects and shadow attributes. An attacker with the ability to author or modify MISP events in a feed source could include non-allowed taxonomy tags alongside allowed ones to exfiltrate more sensitive data to fee

Three distinct denial-of-service conditions follow from this write primitive, all triggered from the same unauthenticated source and all self-renewing on a 24-hour cycle for as long as the injected rows remain in the database.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
