The AdRotate Banner Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Code Injection in all versions up to, and including, 5.17.7 via the 'banner' attribute of the adrotate shortcode. This is due to insufficient input validation and sanitization of the banner shortcode attribute before concatenation into a PHP code string wrapped in W3 Total Cache mfunc or Borlabs Cache fragment markers. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server. The EntreDroppers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via PHP_SELF Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The payload is delivered via attacker-controlled path-info in the URL (e.g., /wp-admin/admin.php/"><script>alert(0)</script>/?page=EntreDroppers.php), which PHP_SELF reflects directly into the form action attribute.

Jun 13, 2026Page Builder: Pagelayer – Drag and Drop website builder: Incorrect AuthorizationCVE-2026-2470 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Page Builder: Pagelayer – Drag and Drop website builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.9. This is due to the pagelayer_save_content AJAX handler allowing users with basic post-edit capability to persist pagelayer_contact_templates metadata on posts they can edit (including pending posts), while the unauthenticated pagelayer_contact_submit endpoint later consumes that metadata by user-controlled post/form identifiers without enforcing a privileged or published-context boundary. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to configure arbitrary contact-form mail templates that are usable through unauthenticated form submission via the contacts parameter. In typical deployments this template feature is configured via Pagelayer Pro UI; however, the vulnerable backend trust path is still present. This issue may be chained with CVE-2026-2442 to increase exploitability and attacker control over outbound email behavior.

Jun 11, 2026UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-10795 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.26.4 via the UpdraftPlus_Remote_Communications_V2::wp_loaded function. This is due to insufficient validation of the remote communications message format, where signature verification can be bypassed and unchecked decryption return values collapse to a predictable all-zero encryption key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to forge arbitrary RPC commands and run them as the connected administrator, such as uploading and activating a malicious plugin, which ultimately leads to remote code execution.

Jun 5, 2026Charitable – Donation Plugin for WordPress – Fundraising with Recurring Donations & More: Insecure Direct Object Reference / Authorization Bypass leading to Arbitrary Attachment DeletionCVE-2026-10038 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Charitable – Donation Plugin for WordPress – Fundraising with Recurring Donations & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference / Authorization Bypass leading to Arbitrary Attachment Deletion in versions up to, and including, 1.8.11.1 via the profile avatar update flow. This is due to the save_avatar() function in Charitable_Profile_Form calling wp_delete_attachment() on an attachment ID read from the user's 'avatar' meta without validating that the attachment is owned by the user, combined with Charitable_Data_Processor::process_picture() returning the raw posted value when no file is uploaded, allowing the 'avatar' user meta to be poisoned with any attacker-chosen attachment ID. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary attachments from the Media Library by performing a two-request chain (first poisoning the stored avatar meta value with a target attachment ID, then triggering deletion via a normal avatar upload).

May 22, 2026Vedrixa Forms – User Registration Form, Signup Form & Drag & Drop Form Builder: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-8692 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Vedrixa Forms – User Registration Form, Signup Form & Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the structure of any form — adding, removing, or altering fields — by writing attacker-controlled data to the plugin's FORMS database table. The 'ajax-nonce' nonce used by this handler is injected into the public frontend via wp_localize_script(), so any authenticated user who visits a page containing a form shortcode can obtain it without any elevated access.

May 2, 2026App Builder – Create Native Android & iOS Apps On The Flight: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-7638 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The App Builder – Create Native Android & iOS Apps On The Flight plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to and including 5.6.0. This is due to missing authorization validation in the `upload_avatar()` function, which accepts an attacker-controlled `user_id` parameter from the POST request body and uses it to update user meta without verifying that the authenticated requester owns or has permission to modify the target account. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the profile avatar of any arbitrary user on the site, including administrators, by supplying a target `user_id` in the request body to the `/wp-json/app-builder/v1/upload-avatar` endpoint.

Apr 24, 2026Drag and Drop File Upload for Contact Form 7: Arbitrary file uploadCVE-2026-5364 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Drag and Drop File Upload for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file upload in versions up to, and including, 1.1.3. This is due to the plugin extracting the file extension before sanitization occurs and allowing the file type parameter to be controlled by the attacker rather than being restricted to administrator-configured values, which when combined with the fact that validation occurs on the unsanitized extension while the file is saved with a sanitized extension, allows special characters like '$' to be stripped during the save process. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary PHP files and potentially achieve remote code execution, however, an .htaccess file and name randomization is in place which restricts real-world exploitability.

Apr 17, 2026Drag and Drop Multiple File Upload for Contact Form 7: Arbitrary file uploadCVE-2026-5718 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Drag and Drop Multiple File Upload for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file upload in versions up to, and including, 1.3.9.7. This is due to insufficient file type validation that occurs when custom blacklist types are configured, which replaces the default dangerous extension denylist instead of merging with it, and the wpcf7_antiscript_file_name() sanitization function being bypassed for filenames containing non-ASCII characters. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files, such as PHP files, to the server, which can be leveraged to achieve remote code execution. The vulnerability was originally reported by Leonid Semenenko (lsemenenko) and partially patched in version 1.3.9.7. A bypass for the patch was separately discovered and reported by Nguyen Hung (Mitchell).

Apr 17, 2026Drag and Drop Multiple File Upload for Contact Form 7: Path Traversal leading to Arbitrary File ReadCVE-2026-5710 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Drag and Drop Multiple File Upload for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal leading to Arbitrary File Read in versions up to and including 1.3.9.6. This is due to the plugin using client-supplied mfile[] POST values as the source of truth for email attachment selection without performing any server-side upload provenance check, path canonicalization, or directory containment boundary enforcement. In dnd_wpcf7_posted_data(), each user-submitted filename is directly appended to the plugin's upload URL without sanitization. In dnd_cf7_mail_components(), the URL is converted back to a filesystem path using str_replace() and only file_exists() is used as the acceptance check before attaching the file to the outgoing CF7 email. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read and exfiltrate arbitrary files readable by the web server process via path traversal sequences in the mfile[] parameter, with files being disclosed as email attachments. Note: This vulnerability is limited to the 'wp-content' folder due to the wpcf7_is_file_path_in_content_dir() function in the Contact Form 7 plugin.

Mar 21, 2026App Builder – Create Native Android & iOS Apps On The Flight: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-2375 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The App Builder – Create Native Android & iOS Apps On The Flight plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.10. This is due to the `verify_role()` function in `AuthTrails.php` explicitly whitelisting the `wcfm_vendor` role alongside `subscriber` and `customer`, and assigning it directly via `wp_insert_user()` without integrating with WCFM Marketplace's vendor approval workflow. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register an account with the `wcfm_vendor` role by supplying the `role` parameter in the `/wp-json/app-builder/v1/register` REST API endpoint, bypassing the standard WCFM vendor approval process and immediately gaining vendor-level privileges (product management, order access, store management) on sites where WCFM Marketplace is active.

Mar 19, 2026Simple Draft List: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-4006 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Simple Draft List plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'display_name' post meta (Custom Field) in all versions up to and including 2.6.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the author display name when no author URL is present. The plugin accesses `$draft_data->display_name` which, because `display_name` is not a native WP_Post property, triggers WP_Post::__get() and resolves to `get_post_meta($post_id, 'display_name', true)`. When the `user_url` meta field is empty, the `$author` value is assigned to `$author_link` on line 383 without any escaping (unlike line 378 which uses `esc_html()` for the `{{author}}` tag, and line 381 which uses `esc_html()` when a URL is present). This unescaped value is then inserted into the shortcode output via `str_replace()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses a page containing the `[drafts]` shortcode with the `{{author+link}}` template tag.
