In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: vme_user: fix location monitor leak in tsi148 bridge tsi148_probe() allocates a location monitor resource and links it into tsi148_bridge->lm_resources. The probe error path frees this list, but tsi148_remove() only frees the dma, slave and master resource lists, so the location monitor resource is leaked on device unbind or module unload. Free the lm_resources list in tsi148_remove() as well, before tsi148_bridge is freed.

Aug 5, 2026Zigbee2MQTT's ExternalJSExtension.getFilePath (lib/extension/externalJS.ts) joins a parameter received via an MQTT message (topic zigbee2mqtt/bridge/request/extCVE-2026-71279 · Other software · Koenkk · reported by 309f9ea4-e3e9-4c6c-b79d-e8eb01244f2cHigh 8
Zigbee2MQTT's ExternalJSExtension.getFilePath (lib/extension/externalJS.ts) joins a parameter received via an MQTT message (topic zigbee2mqtt/bridge/request/extension/save) into the extensions base path using path.join(basePath, name) with no sanitization. The extension handler only validates that the name ends in .js/.mjs/.cjs, writes the file, and then dynamically imports it via Node.js import, achieving remote code execution.

Jul 31, 2026gemini-bridge is a lightweight MCP server bridging AI agents to Google's Gemini AI via the official CLI.CVE-2026-54785 · Other software · eLyiN · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2
gemini-bridge is a lightweight MCP server bridging AI agents to Google's Gemini AI via the official CLI. From 1.0.0 until 1.3.1, consult_gemini_with_files in inline mode read any file path supplied in the files argument without confining it to the working directory, then forwarded the contents to the Gemini CLI. Because the caller also controls query, the file contents are echoed back through the Gemini round-trip (and sent to Google), making this an arbitrary local file read. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: bridge: fix stale prevhdr pointer in br_ip6_fragment() br_ip6_fragment() gets prevhdr, a pointer into the skb head, from ip6_find_1stfragopt(), then calls skb_checksum_help(). For a cloned skb skb_checksum_help() reallocates the head via pskb_expand_head(), leaving prevhdr dangling. It is later dereferenced in ip6_frag_next(), causing a use-after-free write. Save prevhdr's offset before skb_checksum_help() and recompute it after, like commit ef0efcd3bd3f ("ipv6: Fix dangling pointer when ipv6 fragment"). Jul 27, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: cfm: reject invalid CCM interval at configuration time ccm_tx_work_expired() re-arCVE-2026-64537 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: cfm: reject invalid CCM interval at configuration time ccm_tx_work_expired() re-arms itself via queue_delayed_work() using the configured exp_interval converted by interval_to_us(). When exp_interval is BR_CFM_CCM_INTERVAL_NONE or out of range, interval_to_us() returns 0, causing the worker to fire immediately in a tight loop that allocates skbs until OOM. Fix this by validating exp_interval at configuration time: - Constrain IFLA_BRIDGE_CFM_CC_CONFIG_EXP_INTERVAL to the valid range [BR_CFM_CCM_INTERVAL_3_3_MS, BR_CFM_CCM_INTERVAL_10_MIN] in the netlink policy so userspace cannot set an invalid value. - Reject starting CCM TX in br_cfm_cc_ccm_tx() when exp_interval has not yet been configured (defaults to 0 from kzalloc).

Jul 20, 2026The `@ai-sdk/harness-opencode` tool connects HarnessAgent to OpenCode through a sandboxed bridge.CVE-2026-64651 · Other software · vercel · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
The `@ai-sdk/harness-opencode` tool connects HarnessAgent to OpenCode through a sandboxed bridge. Prior to version 1.0.28, the tool relay authorizes requests from any process whose command line contains an allowed helper script path (`host-tool-mcp.mjs`). This allows untrusted code executing in the sandbox to invoke arbitrary host-exposed tools including secret lookups, deployment operations, and cloud API calls without a corresponding model-authorized tool-call event. Exploitation requires a Linux environment (the vulnerable fallback checks `process.platform === 'linux'` and reads `/proc`); an active harness session with one or more host-provided tools; and untrusted code executing in the sandbox (e.g. a malicious dependency, build script, or lifecycle hook) The fix in version 1.0.28 removes the process-path authorization fallback entirely. Relay requests are now only accepted after exact, short-lived, one-time authorization matching the tool name and input from a bridge-observed model event. Some workarounds are available. Do not run the OpenCode harness on untrusted repositories or with untrusted dependencies, and/or limit host-exposed tools to non-sensitive operations when work

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: mcast: Fix a possible use-after-free when removing a bridge port When per-VLAN multicast snooping is enabled, the bridge iterates over all the bridge ports, disables the per-port multicast context on each port and enables the per-{port, VLAN} multicast contexts instead. The reverse happens when per-VLAN multicast snooping is disabled. When global multicast snooping is enabled, the bridge iterates over all the bridge ports and enables the per-port multicast context on each port. The reverse happens when multicast snooping is disabled. The above scheme can result in a situation where both types of contexts (per-port and per-{port, VLAN}) are enabled on a single bridge port: # ip link add name br1 up type bridge mcast_snooping 1 mcast_querier 1 vlan_filtering 1 # ip link add name dummy1 up master br1 type dummy # ip link set dev br1 type bridge mcast_vlan_snooping 1 # ip link set dev br1 type bridge mcast_snooping 0 # ip link set dev br1 type bridge mcast_snooping 1 This is not intended and it is a problem since the commit cited below. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: Fix sleep in atomic context in netlink path Since the introduction of the netlink configuration path for bridge ports in commit 25c71c75ac87 ("bridge: bridge port parameters over netlink"), br_setport() was always called with the bridge lock held around it. Back then this decision made sense: The bridge lock protects the STP state of the bridge and its ports and at that time the function only processed three STP related netlink attributes (cost, priority and state). Nowadays, br_setport() processes a lot more attributes and most of them do not need the bridge lock: * Bridge flags: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. Annotations can be added in net-next. * FDB port flushing: Only requires the FDB lock. * Multicast attributes: Only require the multicast lock. * Group forward mask: Only requires RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. Annotations can be added in net-next. * Backup port and NHID: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: Fix sleep in atomic context in sysfs path Since the start of the git history, brport_store() always acquired the bridge lock. Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: revalidate bridge ports ebt_redirect_tg() dereferences br_port_get_rcu() returnCVE-2026-53220 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: revalidate bridge ports ebt_redirect_tg() dereferences br_port_get_rcu() return without a NULL check, causing a kernel panic when the bridge port has been removed between the original hook invocation and an NFQUEUE reinject. A mere NULL check isn't sufficient, however. As sashiko review points out userspace can not only remove the port from the bridge, it could also place the device in a different virtual device, e.g. macvlan. If this happens, we must drop the packet, there is no way for us to reinject it into the bridge path. Switch to _upper API, we don't need the bridge port structure. Also, this fix keeps another bug intact: Both nfnetlink_log and nfnetlink_queue use CONFIG_BRIDGE_NETFILTER too aggressive, which prevents certain logging features when queueing in bridge family: NETFILTER_FAMILY_BRIDGE can be enabled while the old CONFIG_BRIDGE_NETFILTER cruft is off. Fixes tag is a common ancestor, this was always broken.

Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_meta_bridge: fix stale stack leak via IIFHWADDR register NFT_META_BRI_IIFHWCVE-2026-53211 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_meta_bridge: fix stale stack leak via IIFHWADDR register NFT_META_BRI_IIFHWADDR declares its destination register with len = ETH_ALEN (6 bytes), which the register-init tracking rounds up to two 32-bit registers (8 bytes). nft_meta_bridge_get_eval() then does memcpy(dest, br_dev->dev_addr, ETH_ALEN), writing only 6 bytes and leaving the upper 2 bytes of the second register as uninitialised nft_do_chain() stack. A downstream load of that register span leaks those stale bytes to userspace. Zero the second register before the memcpy so the full declared span is written.

Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: cadence: cdns-mhdp8546-core: Set the mhdp connector earlier in atomic_enable() CVE-2026-53058 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: cadence: cdns-mhdp8546-core: Set the mhdp connector earlier in atomic_enable() In case if we get errors in cdns_mhdp_link_up() or cdns_mhdp_reg_read() in atomic_enable, we will go to cdns_mhdp_modeset_retry_fn() and will hit NULL pointer while trying to access the mutex. We need the connector to be set before that. Unlike in legacy cases with flag !DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR, we do not have connector initialised in bridge_attach(), so add the mhdp->connector_ptr in device structure to handle both cases with DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR and !DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR, set it in atomic_enable() earlier to avoid possible NULL pointer dereference in recovery paths like modeset_retry_fn() with the DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR flag set.

Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_queue: hold bridge skb->dev while queued br_pass_frame_up() rewrites skb->deCVE-2026-52912 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_queue: hold bridge skb->dev while queued br_pass_frame_up() rewrites skb->dev from the ingress port to the bridge master before queueing bridge LOCAL_IN packets. NFQUEUE only holds references on state.in/out and bridge physdevs, so a queued bridge packet can retain a freed bridge master in skb->dev until reinjection. When the verdict is reinjected later, br_netif_receive_skb() re-enters the receive path with skb->dev still pointing at the freed bridge master, triggering a use-after-free. Store skb->dev in the queue entry, hold a reference on it for the queue lifetime, and use the saved device when dropping queued packets during NETDEV_DOWN handling.

May 27, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtw88: check for PCI upstream bridge existence pci_upstream_bridge() returns NULL ifCVE-2026-46092 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtw88: check for PCI upstream bridge existence pci_upstream_bridge() returns NULL if the device is on a root bus. If 8821CE is installed in the system with such a PCI topology, the probing routine will crash. This has probably been unnoticed as 8821CE is mostly supplied in laptops where there is a PCI-to-PCI bridge located upstream from the device. However the card might be installed on a system with different configuration. Check if the bridge does exist for the specific workaround to be applied. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Svace static analysis tool.

May 27, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: use a stable FDB dst snapshot in RCU readers Local FDB entries can be rewrittCVE-2026-46086 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: use a stable FDB dst snapshot in RCU readers Local FDB entries can be rewritten in place by `fdb_delete_local()`, which updates `f->dst` to another port or to `NULL` while keeping the entry alive. Several bridge RCU readers inspect `f->dst`, including `br_fdb_fillbuf()` through the `brforward_read()` sysfs path. These readers currently load `f->dst` multiple times and can therefore observe inconsistent values across the check and later dereference. In `br_fdb_fillbuf()`, this means a concurrent local-FDB update can change `f->dst` after the NULL check and before the `port_no` dereference, leading to a NULL-ptr-deref. Fix this by taking a single `READ_ONCE()` snapshot of `f->dst` in each affected RCU reader and using that snapshot for the rest of the access sequence. Also publish the in-place `f->dst` updates in `fdb_delete_local()` with `WRITE_ONCE()` so the readers and writer use matching access patterns.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: mcast: always update mdb_n_entries for vlan contexts syzbot triggered a warning[1] about the number of mdb entries in a context. It turned out that there are multiple ways to trigger that warning today (some got added during the years), the root cause of the problem is that the increase is done conditionally, and over the years these different conditions increased so there were new ways to trigger the warning, that is to do a decrease which wasn't paired with a previous increase. For example one way to trigger it is with flush: $ ip l add br0 up type bridge vlan_filtering 1 mcast_snooping 1 $ ip l add dumdum up master br0 type dummy $ bridge mdb add dev br0 port dumdum grp 239.0.0.1 permanent vid 1 $ ip link set dev br0 down $ ip link set dev br0 type bridge mcast_vlan_snooping 1 ^^^^ this will enable snooping, but will not update mdb_n_entries because in __br_multicast_enable_port_ctx() we check !netif_running $ bridge mdb flush dev br0 ^^^ this will trigger the warning because it will delete the pg which we added above, which will try to decrease mdb_n_entries Fix the p

May 11, 2026Geyser is a bridge between Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and Minecraft: Java Edition.CVE-2026-42188 · Other software · GeyserMC · reported by GitHubLow 2.4
Geyser is a bridge between Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and Minecraft: Java Edition. Prior to 2.9.3, a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in Geyser’s handling of Bedrock player head texture data. By supplying a crafted Base64-encoded skin texture URL via the /give command, an attacker can cause the Minecraft server to issue arbitrary HTTP GET requests to attacker-controlled or internal endpoints. This occurs server-side, without proper URL validation, and can be triggered by a Bedrock client. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.9.3.
