  • Sep 28, 2026Bluehood monitors local bluetooth activity.CVE-2026-49994 · Other software · dannymcc · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Bluehood monitors local bluetooth activity. Prior to version 0.7.1, when auth_enabled is set in Bluehood, only the HTML page handlers enforced session validation. The /api/* handlers (settings, devices, groups, per-device endpoints including /api/device/{mac}/notes) called no auth check at all. A network attacker reachable on the dashboard port could read Bluetooth tracking data and modify application state — including the heartbeat URL, prune retention, device groups, and per-device notes — without a session cookie. This issue has been patched in version 0.7.1.

  • Sep 26, 2026Grav CMS 2.0.14 through 2.0.24 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the group and account blueprints.CVE-2026-100670 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Grav CMS 2.0.14 through 2.0.24 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the group and account blueprints. The access map is gated by a `security@: admin.super` guard that is resolved by the field's exact path, so a submitted flat dot-notation key such as `access.admin.super` (instead of the nested `access[admin][super]`) matches no blueprint rule, survives BlueprintSchema::filterArray() and flattening, and is written by FlexObject::update() via setNestedProperty(), which splits on `.` and reconstructs the nested value. An authenticated backend operator using the flex accounts backend who holds admin.users but not admin.super can therefore grant admin.super to their own account or to a group they belong to and escalate to full super-admin, gaining control over configuration, plugin and theme installation, the file manager, and all accounts. Fixed in 2.0.25, which drops any dotted key whose ancestor path is disabled or marked validate.ignore.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel: validate version TLV value lengths btintel_parse_version_tlv() verifieCVE-2026-98111 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel: validate version TLV value lengths btintel_parse_version_tlv() verifies that a complete TLV is present in the response, but it does not ensure that the value is long enough for the specific TLV type. A short value can therefore cause an out-of-bounds read through get_unaligned_le16(), get_unaligned_le32(), or memcpy(). Reject values shorter than the minimum required by each known TLV type. Also reject responses that do not contain the Command Complete Status field.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: Fix race condition during device registration In hci_register_dev(), CVE-2026-98109 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 4.7

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: Fix race condition during device registration In hci_register_dev(), the power_on work item is queued to hdev->req_workqueue before initializing hdev->adv_monitors_idr and registering the MSFT extension via msft_register(). For devices marked with quirks such as HCI_QUIRK_RAW_DEVICE, the HCI_UNCONFIGURED flag is set on the device. When the power_on work item runs concurrently on another CPU, hci_power_on() detects that the device is unconfigured and immediately invokes hci_dev_do_close(), which calls msft_do_close(). Concurrently, msft_register() allocates the msft structure and exposes it to hdev->msft_data prior to calling mutex_init(&msft->filter_lock). If msft_do_close() executes while hdev->msft_data is already assigned but the mutex has not yet been initialized, mutex_lock(&msft->filter_lock) operates on an uninitialized mutex, triggering a DEBUG_LOCKS warning: DEBUG_LOCKS_WARN_ON(lock->magic != lock) WARNING: kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 at __mutex_lock_common kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 [inline] WARNING: kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 at __mutex_lock+0x12d8/0x1550 kernel/locking/mutex.c:82

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix chan mode for LE_CONN_REQ + EXT_FLOWCTL pchan l2cap_new_connection()CVE-2026-98108 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix chan mode for LE_CONN_REQ + EXT_FLOWCTL pchan l2cap_new_connection() sets default value of channel mode to match the parent channel. l2cap_le_connect_req() left this at the default, and created L2CAP_MODE_EXT_FLOWCTL channels if listening pchan has that mode. This causes FLAG_DEFER_SETUP channels to reply to L2CAP_LE_CONN_REQ with L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_RSP, which is incorrect. It can also result to stack OOB write (of l2cap_alloc_cid determined values) in l2cap_ecred_rsp_defer(), as l2cap_le_connect_req() does not limit maximum number of deferred channels or check for duplicate ident. Fix by setting chan->mode correctly in l2cap_le_connect_req(). Also check channel mode in l2cap_ecred_rsp_defer(), and do WARN_ON_ONCE instead of OOB write to make it less brittle.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix out-of-bounds write in l2cap_ecred_connect l2cap_chan_connect() trieCVE-2026-98107 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix out-of-bounds write in l2cap_ecred_connect l2cap_chan_connect() tries to ensure there are no more than L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_SCID_MAX pending ECRED channels, so they fit in the same L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_REQ that l2cap_ecred_connect() constructs. However, the check only counts deferred channels. If 6 L2CAP sockets are connected at the same time in order DDDDND (D=deferred, N=non-deferred), the last can bump the total to max+1. It results to one __le16 written out of bounds of the scid array, and an invalid ECRED_CONN_REQ being sent. Fix by leaving room for the non-deferred pending ECRED channels in the counting in l2cap_chan_connect(), so the limit can't be exceeded. Move counting under same critical section where the channel is added. Although race conditions involving this appear unreachable, it's easier to see. Also add WARN_ON_ONCE check in l2cap_ecred_defer_connect() to make this less brittle.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: Fix UAF of btusb_data by rx_work btusb_close() and btusb_flush() cancel CVE-2026-97977 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: Fix UAF of btusb_data by rx_work btusb_close() and btusb_flush() cancel data->rx_work with the asynchronous cancel_delayed_work(), so if btusb_rx_work() is already running on another CPU it keeps running after the cancel returns. btusb_disconnect() calls hci_unregister_dev(), which invokes btusb_close(), and then frees the btusb_data. A still running btusb_rx_work() then dereferences the freed data: while ((skb = skb_dequeue(&data->acl_q))) data->recv_acl(data->hdev, skb); Use cancel_delayed_work_sync() instead. In btusb_close() the cancel also has to happen after btusb_stop_traffic(), otherwise an URB completion racing with the cancel can requeue the work right after it has been waited for.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel_pcie: validate packet_len before skb_put_data btintel_pcie_submit_rx_woCVE-2026-97976 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel_pcie: validate packet_len before skb_put_data btintel_pcie_submit_rx_work() reads packet_len from rfh_hdr without checking if it exceeds the RX buffer size. An oversized packet_len can lead to an out-of-bounds read in skb_put_data(). Validate packet_len to ensure it is non-zero and does not exceed BTINTEL_PCIE_BUFFER_SIZE - sizeof(*rfh_hdr), logging an error when invalid. This issue was reported by Claude Mythos. It can be simulated either by using customized firmware configured to return an invalid packet_len or by modifying rfh_hdr->packet_len in the driver before calling btintel_pcie_submit_rx_work().

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sysfs: Fix NULL pointer dereference in device_del() A NULL pointer derefereCVE-2026-97975 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sysfs: Fix NULL pointer dereference in device_del() A NULL pointer dereference in klist_put() occurs when a child device (such as a BNEP network device in bnep_session) is concurrently being unregistered while hci_conn_del_sysfs() reparents child devices. This is caused by a race condition between hci_conn_del_sysfs() and concurrent child device unregistration (e.g. bnep_session calling unregister_netdev()). During device unregistration, device_del() snapshots a non-NULL parent pointer. Concurrently, hci_conn_del_sysfs() finds the child device using device_find_any_child() and calls device_move() to reparent it to NULL, which removes the node from its parent's klist and clears knode_parent. Subsequently, device_del() calls klist_del(&dev->p->knode_parent) using the stale parent snapshot, causing klist_put() to dereference knode_klist(n)->put on an already removed node, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference. This race was introduced by commit 27aabf27fd01 ("Bluetooth: fix use-after-free in device_for_each_child()"), which replaced device_find_child(..., __match_tty) with device_find_any_child()

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btqcomsmd: destroy RPMsg endpoints before freeing hci_dev The command and ACL RCVE-2026-97908 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btqcomsmd: destroy RPMsg endpoints before freeing hci_dev The command and ACL RPMsg endpoints store struct btqcomsmd as their callback private data. The receive callbacks dereference btq->hdev without taking an hci_dev reference. The current teardown order frees the hci_dev before destroying the RPMsg endpoints in both the hci_register_dev() error path and the driver remove path. If WCNSS delivers data in that window, the endpoint callback can run with an already freed hci_dev and pass it to the Bluetooth core. For qcom_smd endpoints, rpmsg_destroy_ept() closes the channel and clears the callback under the channel recv_lock. The receive path holds the same lock while invoking the callback, so destroying the endpoints first both prevents new callbacks and serializes with any callback already running. Destroy the command and ACL endpoints before hci_free_dev(). Keep hci_unregister_dev() first during remove so the HCI core stops issuing operations before the transport endpoints are shut down. In the full registration-error cleanup path, return directly after freeing the hci_dev to avoid falling through

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btrtl: Don't leak return code when parsing firmware format v2 When key_id from CVE-2026-97907 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btrtl: Don't leak return code when parsing firmware format v2 When key_id from chip is zero, rtlbt_parse_firmware_v2() intentionally ignores all security headers. However, the implementation simply breaks from a switch statement and leaks uninitialized return code `rc' (if the first section is a security one) or the previous section's `rc'. Fix it by really skipping a loop with `continue'. For consistency and readability, also do the same for the default case.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: avoid unneeded actions on subflow reset Once in a blue moon, the mptcp receive path can recursively call mptcp_data_ready() via state change under unlucky error conditions, and then try to hold the data lock again. Break the recursion loop explicitly checking for the exceptional condition. Add a new flag instead of using an existing one like 'closing', to exit early in subflow_state_change(), and explicitly flush the RX queue at reset time. This avoids unneeded processing to check for available data -- calling get_mapping_status() and more on a dying subflow -- but also in error reporting and worker scheduling. Note that we must consume the currently peeked skb before invoking mptcp_dss_corruption to avoid consuming it again after the eventual reset has freed it.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: validate connectionless PSM length Connectionless L2CAP frames carry a two-byte PSM at the start of the payload. l2cap_recv_frame() currently reads that PSM unconditionally after validating only the outer L2CAP length. A malformed connectionless frame with a zero- or one-byte payload can therefore make the parser read beyond the advertised skb payload and use tailroom bytes as part of the PSM. A VHCI-backed QEMU reproducer injected a one-byte connectionless payload and reached the unchecked read. Reject connectionless frames that cannot contain the PSM before reading or pulling it. This preserves all valid connectionless frames while dropping only structurally incomplete packets.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: RFCOMM: validate skb length in rfcomm_recv_frame rfcomm_recv_frame() casts skb->data to struct rfcomm_hdr and dereferences hdr->addr and hdr->ctrl without validating skb->len first. A truncated frame with skb->len less than the minimum header size causes an out-of-bounds read of uninitialized memory. • Sep 23, 2026The Reachy Mini Bluetooth service asks a connecting device for a PIN before it will accept commands.CVE-2026-96456 · Other software · Pollen Robotics · reported by reefs@jfrog.comMedium 6.3

The Reachy Mini Bluetooth service asks a connecting device for a PIN before it will accept commands. The check protects the session but not the caller, so an attacker in Bluetooth range can ride along on someone else's successful authentication. The authenticated state is kept in a single shared flag on the service instance rather than per device. BlueZ passes the calling device's identity to the characteristic write handler in the options argument, but WriteValue(self, value, options) in src/reachy_mini/daemon/app/services/bluetooth/bluetooth_service.py ignores options entirely. The handler therefore has no idea which device sent a given write, and it cannot tell the authenticated one from any other. Once any device completes the PIN exchange, the flag is set and every nearby device can send CMD_ commands until it resets. An attacker simply waits within radio range for a legitimate user to authenticate, then writes commands into the same window. No PIN is ever guessed or brute-forced. This is the second step of a three-step chain that JFrog documented against the robot. The first is the unrestricted file upload in the media sounds API, tracked as CVE-2026-55419, which pla

A backend that answers with status only leaves that pointer past the end of the received data, so the walk reads adjacent slab memory until it meets a NUL. Those bytes reach the kernel log and the firmware-info debugfs file. To fix this, print the string with a bounded "%.*s" limited to skb->len - 1. A short or unterminated response then prints as much as arrived instead of failing setup. This mirrors commit dd068ef04412 ("Bluetooth: bpa10x: avoid OOB read of revision string in bpa10x_setup()"), which fixed the identical pattern.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: use proto_lock for l2cap_data to fix l2cap_disconn_ind hci_conn::l2cap_data is accessed without locks in l2cap_disconn_ind via hci_conn_timeout (disc_work) -> hci_proto_disconn_ind -> l2cap_disconn_ind. This is UAF if the l2cap_conn is deleted concurrently. disc_work is disabled sync in hci_conn_del(), so we cannot take hci_dev_lock in disc_work. Fix by using proto_lock to guard l2cap_data, in addition to hdev->lock which is held in other access paths.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_conn: fix the SCO setup context lifetime hci_setup_sync() queues a conn_handle_t with a NULL destroy callback, so the context is only freed if hci_enhanced_setup_sync() actually runs. An entry that is cancelled instead is leaked, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not release entry->data when there is no destroy callback, and hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every pending entry when the controller is unregistered. The context also stores a bare hci_conn pointer, so the connection can be freed while the work is queued. The dequeue in hci_conn_del() does not cover it either, as it matches on entry->data == conn and entry->data is the wrapper here. Same problem as commit 2f5d635ad590 ("Bluetooth: hci_sync: hold conn in hci_connect_acl/le_sync() callbacks"). Hold the connection and release both from a destroy callback. The submission failure path drops both, since hci_cmd_sync_submit() does not call the destroy callback when it fails to queue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: free the advertising instance on the failure and cancel paths adv_timeout_expire() hands a kmalloc()ed instance byte to hci_cmd_sync_queue() with a NULL destroy callback, and only adv_timeout_expire_sync() frees it. That leaks on two paths: - the return value is not checked, and hci_cmd_sync_queue() does not take ownership when it fails (-ENETDOWN, -ENODEV, -ENOMEM); - a cancelled entry is not released, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not free entry->data when there is no destroy callback. hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every pending entry when the controller is unregistered. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btmtksdio: Fix out-of-bounds DMA read in the TX path btmtksdio_tx_packet() rounds the transfer size up to the SDIO block size of 256 bytes, but hands the host controller the SKB buffer as is: err = sdio_writesb(bdev->func, MTK_REG_CTDR, skb->data, round_up(skb->len, MTK_SDIO_BLOCK_SIZE)); Only skb->len bytes hold packet data, so the controller reads up to 255 bytes of uninitialised memory and sends it to the device over the SDIO bus. Depending on how much tailroom slack the SKB allocation happens to carry, that read can also extend past the end of the buffer. Compute the padded length up front, ensure the SKB has tailroom for it, and zero-fill the padding with skb_put_zero(). skb->len then covers the padding, so sdio_writesb() no longer needs to round up. byte_tx keeps counting the header and the payload only, and the error path restores the SKB so that the caller can requeue it. Writing behind skb->tail is only safe because the driver owns the buffer, which "Bluetooth: btmtksdio: Take exclusive ownership of the SKB before TX" ensures.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btnxpuart: Validate the FW dump header length nxp_process_fw_dump() pulls the ACL header off the frame and then reads seq_num and buf_len from a struct nxp_fw_dump_hdr placed at skb->data, without checking that the ACL payload is long enough to contain it. h4_recv_buf() collects HCI_ACL_HDR_SIZE bytes of header followed by the number of payload bytes named in that header, so skb->len is 4 + dlen with dlen supplied by the controller and possibly smaller than the 8 byte dump header, or zero. A short frame with connection handle 0xfff therefore reads both fields from beyond the received data. Beyond the read itself, buf_len is what terminates a dump: a value of zero makes the driver call hci_devcd_complete() and reset the controller, so a truncated frame can end a dump early. Use skb_pull_data() to validate and pull the FW dump header before accessing its fields. Warn and reject the chunk if the header is truncated.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: RFCOMM: Validate MTU in rfcomm_apply_pn() to prevent infinite loop rfcomm_apply_pn() accepts the MTU value from a remote PN (Parameter Negotiation) frame without checking for zero. When the remote peer sends an MTU of zero, d->mtu is set to 0. This causes the sendmsg path to enter an infinite loop when fragmenting data, as each fragment has size == min_t(size_t, len, 0) == 0, so the remaining length never decreases. The infinite allocation of zero-length skbs exhausts all system memory. Fix by clamping d->mtu to RFCOMM_DEFAULT_MTU when the negotiated value is zero, consistent with the initial value assigned in rfcomm_dlc_alloc().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: do not leak an hci_conn when a second LE connect is rejected create_le_conn_complete() decides whether the failed connection is still pending by comparing it against hci_lookup_le_connect(), which returns the first LE connection in BT_CONNECT. That is the same connection only while at most one is pending. Two can be pending. Connections created on the passive scan path sit in BT_CONNECT with HCI_CONN_SCANNING set and are invisible to hci_lookup_le_connect() until hci_le_create_conn_sync() clears the flag when their command is issued, so the -EBUSY guard in hci_connect_le() does not prevent a second connection from being queued while the first is still on the scan path. Whenever two connections are in BT_CONNECT at once, the lookup may return one connection while create_le_conn_complete() is reporting the failure of the other; the early exit then drops the error and hci_conn_failed() never runs on the connection that failed. The controller also rejects a second HCI_OP_LE_CREATE_CONN issued while another connection creation is still outstanding, per Core Spec Vol 4, Part E. The spec calls for Command D

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: eir: Fix OOB read in eir_get_service_data() eir_get_service_data() walks the advertising data for a Service Data field with a matching UUID. On a mismatch it advances: eir += dlen; eir_len -= dlen; eir_get_data() reports dlen as the field's data length, but the field spans dlen + 2 bytes once its length and type bytes count, and more when non-Service-Data fields were skipped to reach it. The pointer lands correctly on the next field. eir_len does not, and the shortfall compounds across fields until eir_get_data() reads the length and type bytes of a "field" past the end of the buffer. For an ISO broadcast sink that buffer is hcon->le_per_adv_data[], filled from the periodic advertising reports of a remote broadcaster. A PA payload packed with mismatching Service Data fields walks off the array into the rest of struct hci_conn. A drifted field that matches the BAA UUID puts those bytes in iso_pi(sk)->base, where user space reads them back with getsockopt(BT_ISO_BASE). A dynamic channel is assigned its RX CID and added to the connection's channel list while still in BT_L2CAP_CONNECTING (and later BT_L2CAP_CONFIG) — before configuration completes and, for PSMs that require security, before the peer is authenticated (l2cap_br_conn_req()). Because the channel is already findable by bt_l2cap_br_lookup_rx_cid() during this window, a remote peer within radio range can send a data PDU addressed to that CID and have it processed on a not-yet-established channel. The dispatch keys off channel fields (BR_CHAN(chan)->rx.mode, rx.mps) that are only initialized during configuration by l2cap_br_conf(); since channel objects are pooled and bt_l2cap_br_chan_del() does not reset rx.mode or the reassembly buffer _sdu, a reused channel can carry stale state into the CONNECTING window and route the frame into the retransmission/flow-control path (bt_l2cap_br_ret_fc_recv()) with stale parameters and a

  • Sep 9, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: ISO: fix use-after-free of listener socket in iso_conn_ready iso_conn_ready() lCVE-2026-80914 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: ISO: fix use-after-free of listener socket in iso_conn_ready iso_conn_ready() looks up the BIS listener socket with iso_get_sock(), which takes a reference, and then, without re-checking its state, creates a child socket from it: parent = iso_get_sock(hdev, ...); if (!parent) return; lock_sock(parent); sk = iso_sock_alloc(sock_net(parent), NULL, BTPROTO_ISO, ...); ... iso_chan_add(conn, sk, parent); ... release_sock(parent); sock_put(parent); If the listener socket is closed concurrently, between iso_get_sock() and lock_sock(), the reference taken by iso_get_sock() may be the last one: the close path drops the link-list reference, and once iso_conn_ready() drops its own reference at the end of the function the socket is freed. The child socket, however, is already linked to the freed parent, and a later disconnect of the child runs iso_chan_del() -> bt_accept_unlink(), which dereferences the dangling parent pointer into the freed accept queue (a use-after-free). The same dangling pointer is also dereferenced through parent->***() in iso_chan_del(). Fix

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
