Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: reject unrepresentable multicast TVLV offsets The network and transport headerCVE-2026-80839 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: reject unrepresentable multicast TVLV offsets The network and transport header fields in struct sk_buff are 16-bit offsets from skb->head, and U16_MAX is reserved as the unset transport header value. batadv_tvlv_call_handler() sets both fields from a received multicast TVLV without checking whether the TVLV end is representable. If the end offset exceeds the field's range, skb_set_transport_header() truncates it so that the transport header precedes the network header. The negative difference is then returned by skb_network_header_len() as a large u32. batadv_mcast_forw_packet() consequently accepts an oversized multicast tracker and accesses memory beyond the skb data. Add skb_set_transport_header_careful(), an offset-aware counterpart to skb_reset_transport_header_careful(), which validates the final head-relative offset before assigning it. Use the new helper in batadv_tvlv_call_handler() and reject unrepresentable TVLVs before setting the network header.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: mglru: fix stale batch updates after memcg reparenting The mglru page table walker batCVE-2026-80719 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: mglru: fix stale batch updates after memcg reparenting The mglru page table walker batches per-generation size deltas in walk->nr_pages while walking page tables without holding the lruvec lock. The reset_batch_size() later folds those deltas into walk->lruvec under the lruvec lock. The page table walker can run concurrently with the memcg reparenting path as follows: CPU0 CPU1 ==== ==== walk_mm --> walk_page_range --> update_batch_size --> walk->nr_pages += delta mem_cgroup_css_offline --> memcg_reparent_objcgs --> lock lruvec lru_gen_reparent_memcg --> reparent child folios to parent unlock lruvec lock lruvec reset_batch_size --> child lrugen->nr_pages += delta This will trigger the following warning in lru_gen_exit_memcg(): VM_WARN_ON_ONCE(memchr_inv(lruvec->lrugen.nr_pages, 0, sizeof(lruvec->lrugen.nr_pages)));

ArcadeDB before 26.8.1 fails to bind the authenticated principal (setCurrentUser) on its batch and time-series HTTP handlers. Because no principal is bound on the worker thread, the engine's fine-grained per-type ACL layer (LocalBucket.checkPermissionsOnFile) does not execute for these handlers. In deployments that use per-type or per-group ACLs, a user with database access but only limited per-type permissions can read from and write to types they are not authorized to access by submitting requests to the batch/time-series endpoints. Deployments that rely solely on database-level access control are not affected.

Aug 18, 2026grav-plugin-api (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) versions >= 1.0.0-beta.10 and <= 1.0.14 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the PagesController::batchCopy() metCVE-2026-75830 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
grav-plugin-api (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) versions >= 1.0.0-beta.10 and <= 1.0.14 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the PagesController::batchCopy() method. An incomplete fix for GHSA-qjq4-jp55-4mx2 left the user-controlled 'suffix' parameter (via POST /api/v1/pages/batch) unvalidated. An authenticated user with the api.pages.write permission (editor-level, not super-admin) can supply path traversal sequences (e.g. /../../../) in the suffix parameter to escape the intended user/pages/ directory and write attacker-controlled page content and page media to arbitrary filesystem locations writable by the web server process. The vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.15.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: reclaim invalid Tx descriptors in ZC batch path The zero-copy Tx batch parser stops wCVE-2026-74558 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: reclaim invalid Tx descriptors in ZC batch path The zero-copy Tx batch parser stops when it encounters an invalid descriptor. If this happens after one or more continuation descriptors, the Tx consumer can be advanced past fragments that are neither submitted to the driver nor returned to userspace through the completion ring. A similar problem occurs when a packet exceeds xdp_zc_max_segs. The descriptors consumed up to the limit are released without completion, and the remaining continuation descriptors can subsequently be interpreted as the beginning of another packet. Parse Tx batches in packet units and distinguish descriptors belonging to complete valid packets from descriptors consumed while draining an invalid or oversized packet. Return the former to the driver and append the latter to the CQ address area so userspace can reclaim their UMEM frames. Treat a standalone invalid descriptor as a one-descriptor reclaim-only packet. Advancing the Tx-ring consumer releases the ring slot, but does not by itself return ownership of the referenced UMEM frame to userspace. Once draining starts, continue unti

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: fib6: fix NULL deref in fib6_walk_continue() on multi-batch dump inet6_dump_fib() saCVE-2026-72392 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: fib6: fix NULL deref in fib6_walk_continue() on multi-batch dump inet6_dump_fib() saves its progress in cb->args[1] as a positional index within the current hash chain. Between batches, a concurrent fib6_new_table() can insert a new table at the chain head, shifting all existing entries. The saved index then lands on a different table, causing fib6_dump_table() to set w->root to the wrong table while w->node still points into the previous one. fib6_walk_continue() dereferences w->node->parent (NULL) and panics: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000008 RIP: 0010:fib6_walk_continue+0x6e/0x170 Call Trace: <TASK> fib6_dump_table.isra.0+0xc5/0x240 inet6_dump_fib+0xf6/0x420 rtnl_dumpit+0x30/0xa0 netlink_dump+0x15b/0x460 netlink_recvmsg+0x1d6/0x2a0 ____sys_recvmsg+0x17a/0x190 Fix by storing tb->tb6_id in cb->args[1] instead of a positional index. On resume, skip entries until the id matches; a concurrent head-insert can never match the saved id, so the walker always resumes on the correct table.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: retrieve ethhdr after potential skb realloc on RX pskb_may_pull() in batadv_interface_rx() could reallocate the buffer behind the skb. Variables which were pointing to the old buffer need to be reassigned to avoid an use-after-free. This was done correctly for the VLAN header but missed for the ethernet header which is later used for the TT and AP isolation handling.
