Home Assistant Core before 2026.6.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary files to any directory on the host filesystem by uploading a crafted backup archive during the initial onboarding window. Attackers can manipulate the 'name' field inside the uploaded archive's backup.json to supply an absolute path, causing pathlib.Path.__truediv__ to discard the configured backup directory prefix and write attacker-controlled content to arbitrary locations, with full filesystem access when the process runs as root.

Home Assistant Core before 2026.7.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the backup-restore function that allows attackers to write files to arbitrary absolute filesystem paths by supplying a crafted tar archive with a SYMTYPE entry containing a benign member name paired with an absolute linkname pointing outside the extraction directory. Because the official Docker image runs the Home Assistant process as root and the subsequent regular-file entry is written through the unvalidated symlink, attackers can achieve remote code execution by overwriting auto-imported Python paths such as site-packages/sitecustomize.py or custom component directories.

MaaAssistantArknights is a one-click tool for daily Arknights tasks. In the current dev-v2 workflow, .github/workflows/release-preparation.yml inlined attacker-controlled github.event.pull_request.title into a run: shell command during the pull_request opened, reopened, and ready_for_review events, so a non-draft fork PR whose title starts with Release v could execute shell commands on the ubuntu-latest runner during the generate-changelog job. Jul 13, 2026MCP Appium is an MCP server that provides AI assistants with tools to automate mobile app testing on Android and iOS.CVE-2026-58500 · Other software · appium · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
MCP Appium is an MCP server that provides AI assistants with tools to automate mobile app testing on Android and iOS. In versions prior to 1.85.10, the createLocatorGeneratorUI function interpolates attacker-controlled element attributes — text, content-desc, resource-id, and locator selector values — directly into an HTML template literal without any HTML or JavaScript context escaping. An attacker who controls the UI of the app under test can inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript into the MCP UI resource returned by the generate_locators tool. When a victim's MCP client renders this resource, the injected script executes and can invoke arbitrary MCP tools via window.parent.postMessage, leading to unauthorized MCP tool execution such as taking screenshots, reading page source, or any other registered capability. This issue has been fixed in version 1.85.10.

Jul 11, 2026The Bluetooth BAP Broadcast Assistant GATT client in subsys/bluetooth/audio/bap_broadcast_assistant.c reassembled remote Broadcast Receive State data into a sinCVE-2026-10660 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.4
The Bluetooth BAP Broadcast Assistant GATT client in subsys/bluetooth/audio/bap_broadcast_assistant.c reassembled remote Broadcast Receive State data into a single file-static net_buf_simple (att_buf, BT_ATT_MAX_ATTRIBUTE_LEN = 512 bytes) shared by all connection instances, while the BUSY flag, long-read handle, and reset/offset state were per-connection. When the device acts as a Broadcast Assistant connected to multiple Scan Delegator peripherals, notification and long-read callbacks from different connections interleave on the shared buffer: the append in notify_handler (net_buf_simple_add_mem at the not-busy branch) performs no tailroom check, so receive-state notifications from two or more delegators accumulate on the same 512-byte buffer and, with a sufficiently large configured ATT MTU (BT_L2CAP_TX_MTU up to 2000) and two-to-three concurrent connections, write past the buffer into adjacent .bss (net_buf_simple_add only asserts in debug builds). Even below the overflow threshold, one connection's net_buf_simple_reset zeroes the shared length while another connection's reassembly and GATT read offset are in flight, mixing one peer's data into another's parse. Jun 23, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first.CVE-2026-54318 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2026.5.3, the LocationSensorManager BroadcastReceiver is exported with no permission. Any installed app, with zero runtime permissions, can broadcast a forged Google Play Services LocationResult directly to it; the receiver trusts the extra and forwards it to the user's Home Assistant server as the device's real location. This bypasses Android's developer-mode "Mock Location" gate and allows a local malicious app to drive zone-based automations (unlock door / disarm alarm / open garage) by faking the user's GPS position. Jun 23, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first.CVE-2026-54317 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6
Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2026.6.0, the Konnected integration registers an HTTP endpoint, KonnectedView (homeassistant/components/konnected/__init__.py), that is marked as not requiring authentication (requires_auth = False). A comment next to that line says auth is instead handled "via the access token from configuration." That promise is only half true. Write requests (POST and PUT) are handled by update_sensor(), which does check the request's Authorization: Bearer <token> header against the integration's stored access tokens (using hmac.compare_digest). Read requests (GET) are handled by a separate get() method that has no authentication check at all. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.6.0.

Jun 19, 2026gin-vue-admin is an AI-assisted basic development platform.CVE-2026-48787 · Other software · flipped-aurora · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
gin-vue-admin is an AI-assisted basic development platform. In version 2.9.1, an authenticated attacker with access to the code-generation feature and MCP management interface can exploit this vulnerability by injecting attacker-controlled Go source code through POST /autoCode/addFunc, and then invoking POST /autoCode/mcpStart to trigger a rebuild and restart of the standalone MCP service. This allows arbitrary operating system commands to be executed on the server with the privileges of the application process. Successful exploitation may lead to remote code execution (RCE), modification of backend source code or runtime logic, deployment of persistent backdoors, access to or manipulation of application data and configuration, and further impact on local resources running under the same service account or privilege context. The risk is highest in deployments that retain the source tree, allow writes to source files, and support local build or startup of standalone MCP components. In environments using binary-only releases, read-only filesystems, or with local build capabilities removed, the exploitability of the full attack chain is significantly reduced. However, once the online

Jun 18, 2026Read-only transaction bypass in the pgAdmin 4 AI Assistant allows an attacker who can influence database content that the assistant reads to execute arbitrary SCVE-2026-12045 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Critical 9.4
Read-only transaction bypass in the pgAdmin 4 AI Assistant allows an attacker who can influence database content that the assistant reads to execute arbitrary SQL with the privileges of the pgAdmin user's database role. The AI Assistant's execute_sql_query tool runs LLM-generated SQL inside a BEGIN TRANSACTION READ ONLY wrapper to prevent data modification. The LLM-supplied query was forwarded to the database driver without restriction to a single statement or to read-only verbs, so a multi-statement payload beginning with COMMIT, END, ROLLBACK, or ABORT terminated the read-only transaction and ran subsequent statements in autocommit mode. The trailing ROLLBACK then had no effect. Delivery is via prompt injection: an attacker who can write content into any object the AI Assistant may inspect (a row, a column value, a comment) can cause the LLM to emit the multi-statement payload as a tool call. With ordinary write privileges on the pgAdmin user's role the attacker can perform unauthorised data modification. When the pgAdmin user's role is a PostgreSQL superuser or holds pg_execute_server_program, the chain extends to remote code execution on the database server host via COPY ...

Jun 18, 2026nanobot is a personal AI assistant.CVE-2026-48716 · Other software · HKUDS · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
nanobot is a personal AI assistant. In versions 0.1.5.post3 and prior, the WhatsApp bridge in bridge/src/whatsapp.ts constructs a filesystem path using the fileName field from an incoming WhatsApp document message without sanitization. The WhatsApp bridge downloads media attachments and writes them to disk using a filename derived from the sender's message via documentMessage.fileName, which is concatenated with a prefix and its raw value is passed directly to path.join(mediaDir, outFilename). Node.js path.join resolves .. components, allowing an attacker to escape the intended media/ directory by sending a document with a crafted fileName such as ../../../.ssh/authorized_keys. Because the attacker also controls the file content (the downloaded buffer), this is a write-anywhere primitive — both path and content are attacker-controlled. A fix for this issue is planned for version 0.1.5.post4.

Jun 17, 2026LangGraph Python SDK is used to connect to running LangGraph API servers, manage assistants, threads and stream runs from Python applications.CVE-2026-48776 · Other software · langchain-ai · reported by GitHubMedium 4.2
LangGraph Python SDK is used to connect to running LangGraph API servers, manage assistants, threads and stream runs from Python applications. Versions 0.3.14 and prior have unsafe URL path construction through unsanitized caller-supplied identifier values used in HTTP request paths for resource operations. Without sanitization of those values, identifiers that contain characters with special meaning in URL paths could cause the resulting request to address a different resource (and potentially a different resource type) than the SDK method's call site indicates. In deployments where the SDK receives identifier values that originate from untrusted sources, this could result in unintended access, modification, or deletion of resources beyond the calling user's authorization scope. This issue is most consequential in deployments that forward end-user-supplied values directly into SDK identifier parameters without first validating them against an expected format (such as a UUID), and rely on URL-prefix-based authorization at an upstream layer (reverse proxy, edge gateway, WAF), where the authorization decision is made on the SDK call's intended path rather than on the final delivered

May 29, 2026ACM/MCE assisted-service writes raw referenced pull-secret contents into `InfraEnv.status.conditions[].message` when pull-secret validation fails.CVE-2026-10101 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.3
ACM/MCE assisted-service writes raw referenced pull-secret contents into `InfraEnv.status.conditions[].message` when pull-secret validation fails. A namespace principal with the stock `view` ClusterRole cannot directly read Secrets, but can read `InfraEnv` objects and recover the referenced Secret's `.dockerconfigjson` data from status. This bypasses the Kubernetes/OpenShift RBAC separation between read-only namespace viewers and Secret readers. In the reproduced proof, the same ServiceAccount was denied `get` and `list` on Secrets, but recovered synthetic pull-secret `username`, `password`, `email`, and base64 `auth` fields through `InfraEnv.status`.

May 29, 2026n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations.CVE-2026-45707 · Other software · czlonkowski · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. Prior to 2.51.2, when ENABLE_MULTI_TENANT=true, the HTTP transport documents that the target n8n instance is selected per-request from x-n8n-url / x-n8n-key headers. Requests that omitted those headers — or supplied only one of them — silently fell back to the process-level N8N_API_URL / N8N_API_KEY credentials configured for the operator's own n8n instance. As a result, an authenticated MCP tenant could cause n8n management calls to execute against the operator's instance instead of its own. This affects HTTP-mode deployments of n8n-mcp that are run as a shared multi-tenant service. Single-tenant deployments (ENABLE_MULTI_TENANT unset or false) are not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.51.2.

May 29, 2026n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations.CVE-2026-45582 · Other software · czlonkowski · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. Prior to 2.51.3, the workflow telemetry sanitizer could retain partial fragments of URL-shaped node parameters before sending workflow data to the project's anonymous telemetry backend. Values placed in HTTP-Request-style node parameters — such as customer or tenant identifiers, short secrets embedded in query strings, and signed request parameters — could therefore appear in stored telemetry, contrary to the collection boundary documented in PRIVACY.md. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.51.3.

May 29, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first.CVE-2026-44698 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2026.4.1 for iOS and 2026.4.4 for Android, he Home Assistant Companion apps for Android and iOS expose a JavaScript bridge to the in-app WebView window.externalApp on Android and webkit.messageHandlers.getExternalAuth (alongside revokeExternalAuth and externalBus) on iOS. Two flaws expose the bridge to all frames (including cross-origin iframes) and unsanitized interpolation of the JavaScript callback identifier allows a cross-origin iframe rendered inside the Companion app to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the Home Assistant frontend's main-frame origin and exfiltrate the signed-in user's access token. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.4.1 for iOS and 2026.4.4 for Android.

May 28, 2026Local Deep Research is an AI-powered research assistant for deep, iterative research.CVE-2026-46526 · Other software · LearningCircuit · reported by GitHubMedium 5
Local Deep Research is an AI-powered research assistant for deep, iterative research. Prior to 1.6.10, the URL checking logic in local-deep-research has a logical flaw that could be bypassed by attackers, leading to SSRF attacks. The current project uses validate_url to validate the input URL. The main logic is to perform security checks on the host portion of the URL extracted by urlparse to prevent SSRF attacks. However, there are indeed differences in parsing between urlparse and the library that actually sends the request. For example, in safe_get, validate_url is first used to perform an SSRF check, and then requests.get is used to send the actual request. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.6.10.

May 28, 2026Local Deep Research is an AI-powered research assistant for deep, iterative research.CVE-2026-43979 · Other software · LearningCircuit · reported by GitHubMedium 5
Local Deep Research is an AI-powered research assistant for deep, iterative research. Prior to 1.6.0, PDFService._markdown_to_html() constructs an HTML document by interpolating user-controlled values — specifically title (sourced from research.title or research.query) and metadata key-value pairs — directly into an f-string without any HTML escaping. An authenticated attacker can craft a research query containing HTML special characters to inject arbitrary HTML tags into the document processed by WeasyPrint during PDF export. This injection can be chained to trigger a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), bypassing the application's existing SSRF defenses in ssrf_validator.py. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.6.0.
