  • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-41304 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubHigh 8.9

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `cloneServer.json.php` endpoint in the CloneSite plugin constructs shell commands using user-controlled input (`url` parameter) without proper sanitization. The input is directly concatenated into a `wget` command executed via `exec()`, allowing command injection. An attacker can inject arbitrary shell commands by breaking out of the intended URL context using shell metacharacters (e.g., `;`). This leads to Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the server. Commit 473c609fc2defdea8b937b00e86ce88eba1f15bb contains a fix.

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, an incomplete fix for AVideo's `test.php` adds `escapeshellarg` for wget but leaves the `file_get_contents` and `curl` code paths unsanitized, and the URL validation regex `/^http/` accepts strings like `httpevil[.]com`. Commit 78bccae74634ead68aa6528d631c9ec4fd7aa536 contains an updated fix.

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, an incomplete XSS fix in AVideo's `ParsedownSafeWithLinks` class overrides `inlineMarkup` for raw HTML but does not override `inlineLink()` or `inlineUrlTag()`, allowing `javascript:` URLs in markdown link syntax to bypass sanitization. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-41062 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the directory traversal fix introduced in commit 2375eb5e0 for `objects/aVideoEncoderReceiveImage.json.php` only checks the URL path component (via `parse_url($url, PHP_URL_PATH)`) for `..` sequences. However, the downstream function `try_get_contents_from_local()` in `objects/functionsFile.php` uses `explode('/videos/', $url)` on the **full URL string** including the query string. An attacker can place the `/videos/../../` traversal payload in the query string to bypass the security check and read arbitrary files from the server filesystem. Commit bd11c16ec894698e54e2cdae25026c61ad1ed441 contains an updated fix.

  • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-41061 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `isValidDuration()` regex at `objects/video.php:918` uses `/^[0-9]{1,2}:[0-9]{1,2}:[0-9]{1,2}/` without a `$` end anchor, allowing arbitrary HTML/JavaScript to be appended after a valid duration prefix. The crafted duration is stored in the database and rendered without HTML escaping via `echo Video::getCleanDuration()` on trending pages, playlist pages, and video gallery thumbnails, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-41060 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `isSSRFSafeURL()` function in `objects/functions.php` contains a same-domain shortcircuit (lines 4290-4296) that allows any URL whose hostname matches `webSiteRootURL` to bypass all SSRF protections. Because the check compares only the hostname and ignores the port, an attacker can reach arbitrary ports on the AVideo server by using the site's public hostname with a non-standard port. The response body is saved to a web-accessible path, enabling full exfiltration. Commit a0156a6398362086390d949190f9d52a823000ba fixes the issue.

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the incomplete fix for AVideo's CloneSite `deleteDump` parameter does not apply path traversal filtering, allowing `unlink()` of arbitrary files via `../../` sequences in the GET parameter. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-41057 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the CORS origin validation fix in commit `986e64aad` is incomplete. Two separate code paths still reflect arbitrary `Origin` headers with credentials allowed for all `/api/*` endpoints: (1) `plugin/API/router.php` lines 4-8 unconditionally reflect any origin before application code runs, and (2) `allowOrigin(true)` called by `get.json.php` and `set.json.php` reflects any origin with `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true`. An attacker can make cross-origin credentialed requests to any API endpoint and read authenticated responses containing user PII, email, admin status, and session-sensitive data. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-41056 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `allowOrigin($allowAll=true)` function in `objects/functions.php` reflects any arbitrary `Origin` header back in `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` along with `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true`. This function is called by both `plugin/API/get.json.php` and `plugin/API/set.json.php` — the primary API endpoints that handle user data retrieval, authentication, livestream credentials, and state-changing operations. Combined with the application's `SameSite=None` session cookie policy, any website can make credentialed cross-origin requests and read authenticated API responses, enabling theft of user PII, livestream keys, and performing state changes on behalf of the victim. WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-40935 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, `objects/getCaptcha.php` accepts the CAPTCHA length (`ql`) directly from the query string with no clamping or sanitization, letting any unauthenticated client force the server to generate a 1-character CAPTCHA word. Combined with a case-insensitive `strcasecmp` comparison over a ~33-character alphabet and the fact that failed validations do NOT consume the stored session token, an attacker can trivially brute-force the CAPTCHA on any endpoint that relies on `Captcha::validation()` (user registration, password recovery, contact form, etc.) in at most ~33 requests per session. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-40929 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, `objects/commentDelete.json.php` is a state-mutating JSON endpoint that deletes comments but performs no CSRF validation. It does not call `forbidIfIsUntrustedRequest()`, does not verify a CSRF/global token, and does not check `Origin`/`Referer`. Because AVideo intentionally sets `session.cookie_samesite=None` (to support cross-origin embed players), a cross-site request from any attacker-controlled page automatically carries the victim's `PHPSESSID`. Any authenticated victim who has authority to delete one or more comments (site moderators, video owners, and comment authors) can be tricked into deleting comments en masse simply by visiting an attacker page. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-40928 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, multiple AVideo JSON endpoints under `objects/` accept state-changing requests via `$_REQUEST`/`$_GET` and persist changes tied to the caller's session user, without any anti-CSRF token, origin check, or referer check. A malicious page visited by a logged-in victim can silently cast/flip the victim's like/dislike on any comment (`objects/comments_like.json.php`), post a comment authored by the victim on any video, with attacker-chosen text (`objects/commentAddNew.json.php`), and/or delete assets from any category (`objects/categoryDeleteAssets.json.php`) when the victim has category management rights. Each endpoint is reachable from a browser via a simple `<img src="…">` tag or form submission, so exploitation only requires the victim to load an attacker-controlled HTML resource. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-40926 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, three admin-only JSON endpoints — `objects/categoryAddNew.json.php`, `objects/categoryDelete.json.php`, and `objects/pluginRunUpdateScript.json.php` — enforce only a role check (`Category::canCreateCategory()` / `User::isAdmin()`) and perform state-changing actions against the database without calling `isGlobalTokenValid()` or `forbidIfIsUntrustedRequest()`. Peer endpoints in the same directory (`pluginSwitch.json.php`, `pluginRunDatabaseScript.json.php`) do enforce the CSRF token, so the missing checks are an omission rather than a design choice. An attacker who lures a logged-in admin to a malicious page can create, update, or delete categories and force execution of any installed plugin's `updateScript()` method in the admin's session. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-40925 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, `objects/configurationUpdate.json.php` (also routed via `/updateConfig`) persists dozens of global site settings from `$_POST` but protects the endpoint only with `User::isAdmin()`. It does not call `forbidIfIsUntrustedRequest()`, does not verify a `globalToken`, and does not validate the Origin/Referer header. Because AVideo intentionally sets `session.cookie_samesite=None` to support cross-origin iframe embedding, a logged-in administrator who visits an attacker-controlled page will have the browser auto-submit a cross-origin POST that rewrites the site's encoder URL, SMTP credentials, site `<head>` HTML, logo, favicon, contact email, and more in a single request. • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-40911 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubCritical 10

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, the YPTSocket plugin's WebSocket server relays attacker-supplied JSON message bodies to every connected client without sanitizing the `msg` or `callback` fields. On the client side, `plugin/YPTSocket/script.js` contains two `eval()` sinks fed directly by those relayed fields (`json.msg.autoEvalCodeOnHTML` at line 568 and `json.callback` at line 95). Because tokens are minted for anonymous visitors and never revalidated beyond decryption, an unauthenticated attacker can broadcast arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the origin of every currently-connected user (including administrators), resulting in universal account takeover, session theft, and privileged action execution. follow-redirects is an open source, drop-in replacement for Node's `http` and `https` modules that automatically follows redirects. Prior to 1.16.0, when an HTTP request follows a cross-domain redirect (301/302/307/308), follow-redirects only strips authorization, proxy-authorization, and cookie headers (matched by regex at index.js). PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.16 and earlier, a stack buffer overflow exists in pjsip_auth_create_digest2() in PJSIP when using pre-computed digest credentials (PJSIP_CRED_DATA_DIGEST). • Apr 21, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-40909 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, the locale save endpoint (`locale/save.php`) constructs a file path by directly concatenating `$_POST['flag']` into the path at line 30 without any sanitization. The `$_POST['code']` parameter is then written verbatim to that path via `fwrite()` at line 40. An admin attacker (or any user who can CSRF an admin, since no CSRF token is checked and cookies use `SameSite=None`) can traverse out of the `locale/` directory and write arbitrary `.php` files to any writable location on the filesystem, achieving Remote Code Execution. • Apr 21, 2026mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker.CVE-2026-40878 · Other software · mailcow · reported by GitHubLow 2.1

mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. In versions prior to 2026-03b, the mailcow web interface passes the raw `$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']` to Twig as a global template variable and renders it inside a JavaScript string literal in the `setLang()` helper of `base.twig`, relying on Twig's default HTML auto-escaping instead of the context-appropriate `js` escaping strategy. In addition, the `query_string()` Twig helper merges all current `$_GET` parameters into the language-switching links on the login page, so attacker-supplied parameters are reflected and preserved across navigation. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability.

The /api/v1/add/mailbox endpoint stores quarantine_category without validation or sanitization. This value is later used by quarantine_notify.py, which constructs SQL queries using unsafe % string formatting instead of parameterized queries. This results in a delayed (second-order) SQL injection when the quarantine notification job executes, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary SQL. Using a UNION SELECT, sensitive data (e.g., admin credentials) can be exfiltrated and rendered inside quarantine notification emails. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability.

  • Apr 21, 2026PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C.CVE-2026-40614 · Other software · pjsip · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.16 and earlier, there is a buffer overflow when decoding Opus audio frames due to insufficient buffer size validation in the Opus codec decode path. The FEC decode buffers (dec_frame[].buf) were allocated based on a PCM-derived formula: (sample_rate/1000) * 60 * channel_cnt * 2. At 8 kHz mono this yields only 960 bytes, but codec_parse() can output encoded frames up to MAX_ENCODED_PACKET_SIZE (1280) bytes via opus_repacketizer_out_range(). The three pj_memcpy() calls in codec_decode() copied input->size bytes without bounds checking, causing a heap buffer overflow.

  • Apr 21, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-40613 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.10.0, the STUN/TURN attribute parsing functions in coturn perform unsafe pointer casts from uint8_t * to uint16_t * without alignment checks. When processing a crafted STUN message with odd-aligned attribute boundaries, this results in misaligned memory reads at ns_turn_msg.c. On ARM64 architectures (AArch64) with strict alignment enforcement, this causes a SIGBUS signal that immediately kills the turnserver process. An unauthenticated remote attacker can crash any ARM64 coturn deployment by sending a single crafted UDP packet. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.10.0.

  • Apr 21, 2026BACnet Stack is a BACnet open source protocol stack C library for embedded systems.CVE-2026-40279 · Other software · bacnet-stack · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

BACnet Stack is a BACnet open source protocol stack C library for embedded systems. Prior to 1.4.3, decode_signed32() in src/bacnet/bacint.c reconstructs a 32-bit signed integer from four APDU bytes using signed left shifts. When any of the four bytes has bit 7 set (value ≥ 0x80), the left-shift operation overflows a signed int32_t, which is undefined behavior per the C standard. This is flagged thousands of times per minute by UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer on any BACnet input containing signed-integer property values with high-bit-set bytes. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.3.

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to version 2.5.3, when OpenBao revoked privileges on a role in the PostgreSQL database secrets engine, OpenBao failed to use proper database quoting on schema names provided by PostgreSQL. This could lead to role revocation failures, or more rarely, SQL injection as the management user. This vulnerability was original from HashiCorp Vault. The vulnerability is addressed in v2.5.3. As a workaround, audit table schemas and ensure database users cannot create new schemas and grant privileges on them.

  • Apr 20, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-39396 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubLow 3.1

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to version 2.5.3, `ExtractPluginFromImage()` in OpenBao's OCI plugin downloader extracts a plugin binary from a container image by streaming decompressed tar data via `io.Copy` with no upper bound on the number of bytes written. An attacker who controls or compromises the OCI registry referenced in the victim's configuration can serve a crafted image containing a decompression bomb that decompresses to an arbitrarily large file. The SHA256 integrity check occurs after the full file is written to disk, meaning the hash mismatch is detected only after the damage (disk exhaustion) has already occurred. This allow the attacker to replace **legit plugin image** with no need to change its signature. Version 2.5.3 contains a patch.

  • Apr 20, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-39388 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubLow 2

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to version 2.5.3, OpenBao's Certificate authentication method, when a token renewal is requested and `disable_binding=true` is set, attempts to verify the current request's presented mTLS certificate matches the original. Token renewals for other authentication methods do not require any supplied login information. Due to incorrect matching, the certificate authentication method would allow renewal of tokens for which the attacker had a sibling certificate+key signed by the same CA, but which did not necessarily match the original role or the originally supplied certificate. This implies an attacker could still authenticate to OpenBao in a similar scope, however, token renewal implies that an attacker may be able to extend the lifetime of dynamic leases held by the original token. This attack requires knowledge of either the original token or its accessor. This vulnerability is original from HashiCorp Vault. This is addressed in v2.5.3. As a workaround, ensure privileged roles are tightly scoped to single certificates.

OpenAEV is an open source platform allowing organizations to plan, schedule and conduct cyber adversary simulation campaign and tests. Starting in version 1.11.0 and prior to version 2.0.13, the /api/reset endpoint behaves differently depending on whether the supplied username exists in the system. When a non-existent email is provided in the login parameter, the endpoint returns an HTTP 400 response (Bad Request). When a valid email is supplied, the endpoint responds with HTTP 200. This difference in server responses creates an observable discrepancy that allows an attacker to reliably determine which emails are registered in the application. By automating requests with a list of possible email addresses, an attacker can quickly build a list of valid accounts without any authentication. The endpoint should return a consistent response regardless of whether the username exists in order to prevent account enumeration. Version 2.0.13 fixes this issue.

  • Apr 20, 2026OpenAEV is an open source platform allowing organizations to plan, schedule and conduct cyber adversary simulation campaign and tests.CVE-2026-24467 · Other software · OpenAEV-Platform · reported by GitHubCritical 9

OpenAEV is an open source platform allowing organizations to plan, schedule and conduct cyber adversary simulation campaign and tests. Starting in version 1.0.0 and prior to version 2.0.13, OpenAEV's password reset implementation contains multiple security weaknesses that together allow reliable account takeover. The primary issue is that password reset tokens do not expire. Once a token is generated, it remains valid indefinitely, even if significant time has passed or if newer tokens are issued for the same account. This allows an attacker to accumulate valid password reset tokens over time and reuse them at any point in the future to reset a victim’s password. A secondary weakness is that password reset tokens are only 8 digits long. While an 8-digit numeric token provides 100,000,000 possible combinations (which is secure enough), the ability to generate large numbers of valid tokens drastically reduces the required number of attempts to guess a valid password reset token. For example, if an attacker generates 2,000 valid tokens, the brute-force effort is reduced to approximately 50,000 attempts, which is a trivially achievable number of requests for an automated attack.
