Aug 20, 2026The POST /api/provider-nodes/validate route in 9router takes a caller-supplied baseUrl and issues server-side HTTP requests to it, guarding the destination withCVE-2026-72860 · Other software · decolua · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.3
The POST /api/provider-nodes/validate route in 9router takes a caller-supplied baseUrl and issues server-side HTTP requests to it, guarding the destination with assertPublicUrl from src/shared/utils/ssrfGuard.js. That guard compares hostname strings only: it resolves no DNS, does not revalidate after a redirect, and its IPv4-mapped IPv6 branch is unreachable. The branch matches ^::ffff:(\d+\.\d+\.\d+\.\d+)$, but the WHATWG URL parser canonicalizes such literals to hextets before the guard runs, so new URL("http://[::ffff:127.0.0.1]/").hostname yields [::ffff:7f00:1] and the pattern is tested against a string it is never handed. Every IPv4-mapped address therefore passes, and http://[::ffff:7f00:1] and http://[::ffff:a9fe:a9fe] reach loopback and link-local metadata addresses; a hostname whose A record points at an internal address passes as well because no resolution occurs. In the custom-embedding branch the upstream response body is truncated to 200 bytes and returned to the caller whenever the upstream status is neither 2xx nor 401 nor 403, which discloses the beginning of internal responses, and the other validation types remain usable for blind internal port scanning through s

Aug 20, 2026The customer update route in EverShop is declared with "access": "public" in packages/evershop/src/modules/customer/api/updateCustomer/route.json, which causes CVE-2026-72843 · Other software · evershopcommerce · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3
The customer update route in EverShop is declared with "access": "public" in packages/evershop/src/modules/customer/api/updateCustomer/route.json, which causes the admin authentication middleware to call next() without checking the caller, and no customer-session middleware guards the route; the only middleware in the chain parses the JSON body. The handler in updateCustomer.js then loads the customer by the uuid taken from the URL path and writes the supplied fields back to that record, hashing a password if one is provided, without verifying that the caller owns the record. An unauthenticated request carrying a known customer uuid can therefore overwrite that customer's email address and password and read back the updated record from the 200 response, taking over the account and locking out its owner. Customer uuids are exposed through order confirmation email links and administrative URLs. Version 2.2.1 changes the route to "access": "private".

Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67448 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. From 1.29.0 until 1.30.6, Mailpit's server/server.go origin middleware checks the raw RequestURI for the /api/ prefix while Go's ServeMux routes using the percent-decoded URL path, and server/websockets/client.go configures websocket.Upgrader.CheckOrigin to return true. A malicious website can request /%61pi/events, skip corsOriginAccessControl(), reach the /api/events WebSocket handler, and receive live message IDs, Message-Id values, sender and recipient fields, subjects, tags, and body snippets from an unauthenticated default Mailpit instance after the user visits the site. This is a regression of the earlier WebSocket origin protection and does not affect deployments protected by --ui-auth-file. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.6.

Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67447 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. From 1.30.0 until 1.30.5, Mailpit's internal/smtpd/smtpd.go readData() function calls bufio.Reader.ReadBytes before applying the len(data)+len(line) size check to the completed SMTP DATA line against Server.MaxSize. An unauthenticated SMTP client can send a single line larger than the configured MaxMessageSize, causing the full line to be allocated before Mailpit returns the 552 5.3.4 rejection. This post-fix gap remains after normal multi-line DATA accumulation was bounded, and concurrent oversized lines can create substantial memory pressure beyond the configured message-size cap. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.5.

Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67446 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to 1.30.4, Mailpit decodes attacker-supplied image attachments into a full raster before checking decoded dimensions, pixel count, or memory use in the GET /api/v1/message/{id}/part/{partID}/thumb endpoint. The Thumbnail handler in server/apiv1/thumbnails.go obtains attachment bytes through storage.GetAttachmentPart(), accepts image/* content, and calls imaging.Decode() with AutoOrientation before imaging.Fill() scales the image to 180 by 120 pixels. A compact image declaring very large dimensions can therefore consume disproportionately large memory and CPU, and opening the message UI can trigger the same endpoint through server/ui-src/components/message/MessageAttachments.vue. This can degrade availability when an unauthenticated client can store the crafted attachment and reach the web API. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.4.

Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67445 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to 1.30.4, Mailpit reads SMTP commands through internal/smtpd/smtpd.go session.readLine() using bufio.Reader.ReadString before session.parseLine() parses the verb or the RFC 5321 512-octet command-line limit is enforced. An unauthenticated remote SMTP client can send an oversized single command line that is fully allocated before syntax rejection or timeout, and the normal MaxMessageSize and DATA limits do not apply to this pre-DATA path. The same command reader is used by handleAuthLogin(), handleAuthPlain(), and handleAuthCramMD5() continuation lines, so concurrent oversized inputs can create memory pressure and reduce service availability. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.4.

Aug 20, 2026msgpack_unpacker_expand_buffer in src/unpack.c, reached through the public msgpack_unpacker_reserve_buffer API, computes its new buffer size using an unchecked CVE-2026-72854 · Other software · msgpack · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.8
msgpack_unpacker_expand_buffer in src/unpack.c, reached through the public msgpack_unpacker_reserve_buffer API, computes its new buffer size using an unchecked size_t addition of the requested size and the amount already used. The doubling loop guards its own multiplication against overflow, but the addition in the loop condition is unguarded, so a request near SIZE_MAX wraps: the loop condition is already satisfied, the allocation is performed at the small pre-wrap size, and the function returns true. The caller is told the requested capacity was reserved when it was not, so a subsequent write of the requested length overflows the heap buffer. The library's own example/lib_buffer_unpack.c demonstrates the reserve-then-write pattern, and its defensive assert comparing capacity against the request is compiled out under NDEBUG. msgpack-c's own decode entry points do not derive the reservation size from untrusted input, so reaching this requires an integration that passes an attacker-influenced length to the reservation API, such as a length-prefixed streaming transport.

libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, libgit2 performs a fixed-size strncmp in set_data in src/libgit2/transports/smart_pkt.c without first verifying that the smart-protocol pkt-line capability buffer contains 14 bytes. A malicious Git server can make bytes after the pkt-line complete object-format=, causing format_str to advance beyond the pkt-line and the following memchr length calculation to underflow. The resulting heap out-of-bounds walk can crash a client during the first refs-advertisement packet over HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, or the Git protocol. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5.

libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, the built-in HTTP transport in src/libgit2/transports/http.c follows an offsite initial redirect, and handle_remote_auth and handle_auth pass transport->owner->url instead of transport->server.url to the credential callback when the redirected host returns 401 Unauthorized. A callback that scopes credentials to the original trusted URL can therefore return GIT_CREDENTIAL_USERPASS_PLAINTEXT credentials that libgit2 stores in transport->server.cred and sends as an Authorization header to the redirected host. An attacker who controls a trusted Git host or an open redirect on that host can disclose HTTP Basic credentials, personal access tokens, or equivalent credentials. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5.

libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, git_delta_apply in src/libgit2/delta.c trusts the attacker-controlled res_sz value parsed by hdr_sz from a delta object header and passes that amount to git__malloc before validating delta instructions. Malicious pack data supplied through git_clone, git_fetch, git_remote_fetch, git_indexer_append, or a local attacker-supplied repository can use a very small multi-level OFS_DELTA chain to retain extremely large allocations and exhaust memory. Aug 20, 2026Windmill is an open-source developer platform for internal code: APIs, background jobs, workflows and UIs.CVE-2026-54136 · Other software · windmill-labs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
Windmill is an open-source developer platform for internal code: APIs, background jobs, workflows and UIs. Prior to 1.715.0, a resource-scoped API token could read script contents outside its allowed path scope through GET /api/w/{workspace}/scripts/list_search. The route-level scope middleware validated the token domain and action but did not enforce the resource/path segment, and the list_search_scripts handler had no additional check_scopes call or per-row filtering before returning script path and content fields. A token such as scripts:read:f/allowed/* could therefore receive source code for unrelated paths in the same workspace, potentially disclosing internal automation logic, integration details, business logic, inline configuration, or hardcoded secrets and credentials. Exploitation required possession of a valid scoped API token for the workspace but did not require administrator privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.715.0.

The setWebhookResolver in packages/api/src/resolvers/webhooks/index.ts stores the caller-supplied url without any address validation, and the file imports no validation helper. When a subscribed event fires, callWebhook in packages/api/src/jobs/call_webhook.ts issues axios.request with that url, the method and Content-Type recorded on the webhook, and a JSON body carrying the event data, so an authenticated user can make the server send repeated attacker-shaped requests to internal endpoints, including link-local metadata addresses. The request is blind: callWebhook discards the result and writes only a success line or the axios error to the server log, so the response is not returned through the API.

Aug 20, 2026The scanFeedsResolver in packages/api/src/resolvers/subscriptions/index.ts passes the caller-supplied url straight to axios.get(url, rssParserConfig()) with no CVE-2026-77066 · Other software · omnivore-app · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
The scanFeedsResolver in packages/api/src/resolvers/subscriptions/index.ts passes the caller-supplied url straight to axios.get(url, rssParserConfig()) with no address validation. The same file guards the subscribe path with validateUrl(), which rejects private and reserved ranges through the private-ip library, and createPageSaveRequest applies the same check, so the omission is specific to this resolver. An authenticated user can direct the server to request arbitrary internal endpoints. The response is parsed as a feed or as HTML and the resolver returns the resulting url, title, description and type fields, so disclosure is limited to feed-shaped metadata and to link elements advertising RSS or Atom feeds; requests that do not parse still distinguish reachable ports from unreachable ones through the resulting error.

Aug 19, 2026In OpenStack Aodh before 22.0.1, the alarm list API bypasses project scoping when the all_projects query parameter is set to false.CVE-2026-76878 · Other software · OpenStack · reported by MITREHigh 8.4
In OpenStack Aodh before 22.0.1, the alarm list API bypasses project scoping when the all_projects query parameter is set to false. The API checks for the presence of the all_projects key rather than its value; a true value enforces the administrator-only policy, but a false value removes the key and skips the branch that normally restricts results to the caller's project. A non-admin user with the reader role can list alarms from all projects, exposing alarm actions containing trust webhook URLs, Heat signal endpoints, project IDs, and user IDs. The parameter can also be combined with a foreign project_id to target a specific project's alarms. A related concern is that OpenStack Watcher does not apply authorization to its webhook trigger endpoint. Any authenticated user who learns an audit's webhook URL, for example from this leaked Aodh alarm metadata, can start an EVENT audit and its associated action plan regardless of their own project or role. The webhook endpoint has lacked policy enforcement since its introduction in the Ussuri release (Watcher 4.0.0).

For more information see Run an action in Splunk SOAR (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/use-splunk-soar-on-premises/8.6.0/use-the-command-line-interface-to-perform-tasks-in-splunk-soar-on-premises/run-an-action-in-splunk-soar-on-premises).

In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.6.0, an authenticated user with restricted tenant access could use the Representational State Transfer (REST) API to view the names and identifiers of tenants that fall outside the role scope for that user. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk SOAR does not enforce role-based tenant restrictions when it returns tenant information through the REST API in deployments with multi-tenancy turned on. For more information see REST Roles and Permissions (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-cloud/rest-api-reference/role-management-endpoints/rest-roles-and-permissions) and Configure multiple tenants on your Splunk SOAR (On-premises) instance (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/administer-soar-on-premises/7.1.0/configure-product-settings-for-your-splunk-soar-on-premises-instance/configure-multiple-tenants-on-your-splunk-soar-on-premises-instance) in the Splunk documentation.

In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.6.0, a user with a valid Splunk SOAR account could use Representational State Transfer (REST) API filtering on playbook runs to recover session tokens that compromise all data available to the affected user. The information disclosure is possible because Splunk SOAR does not block REST API filters from matching values that responses otherwise hide. Aug 19, 2026Leantime JSON-RPC API through version 3.9.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the JSON-RPC dispatcher in app/Domain/Api/Controllers/Jsonrpc.php.CVE-2026-76647 · Other software · Leantime · reported by cret@cert.orgHigh 8.8
Leantime JSON-RPC API through version 3.9.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the JSON-RPC dispatcher in app/Domain/Api/Controllers/Jsonrpc.php. The dispatcher does not enforce authorization before invoking service-layer methods, allowing an authenticated user to call methods or act on resources outside their intended permissions. For example, the editOwn method accepts a user-supplied user ID without verifying that it belongs to the caller, allowing an attacker to modify another user's account and set a new password, resulting in account takeover. This vulnerability is distinct from CVE-2026-59712 and CVE-2026-15509 because the root cause is the lack of centralized authorization enforcement in the JSON-RPC dispatcher rather than the behavior of an individual exposed method.

Aug 19, 2026ISPConfig contains an authenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the Remote API.CVE-2026-61518 · Other software · ispconfig · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
ISPConfig contains an authenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the Remote API. The primary_id parameter passed to delete and update API methods is concatenated directly into SQL WHERE clauses without integer casting or parameterized query binding. The built-in SQL injection scanner does not block quote-free boolean payloads and does not reject requests in its default configuration. A remote API user holding any single low-privilege function permission can inject arbitrary SQL to delete or modify records across all tenants in the control panel database and extract arbitrary data via blind boolean inference, including password hashes and client records.

Aug 19, 2026Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content.CVE-2026-64852 · Other software · getgrav · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content. Prior to 1.0.8, the Grav API plugin intercepts the apiKeyGenerate and apiKeyRevoke admin tasks in user/plugins/api/api.php and authorizes the caller with only admin.login. A basic panel user can select another account from the route, create a persistent ApiKeyManager credential bound to that target, and inherit the target's API permissions, including api.super or administrative write access when present. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.8.

Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content. Prior to 1.0.0-rc.16, the Grav API plugin JwtAuthenticator::extractBearerToken() accepts a JWT from the token URL query parameter on every /api/v1 route, including state-changing endpoints. Request URLs consequently expose valid access tokens through Apache, proxy, and CDN logs, browser history, and Referer headers, allowing a party with access to those records to reuse the token with the owner's API privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-rc.16.

Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content. Prior to 1.0.6, the Grav API plugin ApiKeyManager::generateKey() stores a declared scopes array, but ApiKeyAuthenticator::authenticate() does not read keyData[scopes] and returns the owning user's complete identity.
