  • Sep 15, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-55776 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.5.5, an authenticated OpenBao caller with write access to transit/keys/* could terminate the server process by setting derived to true while the type parameter selected rsa-, ecdsa-, or ed25519. The Transit policy creation path in builtin/logical/transit/backend.go and sdk/helper/keysutil/policy.go could reach an error path that double-unlocked a mutex while handling this invalid asymmetric derived-key combination, causing a panic, no HTTP response, process exit, and denial of service. JSON and HCL key-creation requests can express the triggering combination. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.5.

  • Sep 15, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-55775 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubLow 2.3

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.5.5, OpenBao users granted capabilities on /sys/namespaces/root within a non-root namespace could exploit special handling of the literal root path in namespace canonicalization. The /sys/namespaces/* endpoint family can resolve its containing namespace through a path prefix or X-Vault-Namespace header. ACL checks occurred before root canonicalized to an empty path, causing /sys/namespaces/root to resolve to the system backend's containing namespace and allowing permitted lookups, deletion, locking, or custom metadata changes against that direct containing namespace. The root namespace and arbitrary unrelated namespaces are not affected, and available operations depend on the capabilities granted on the path and subpaths such as /api-lock. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.5.

  • Sep 15, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-55774 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubLow 2.1

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.5.5, an OpenBao user with access to sys/leases/revoke/:lease_id in one namespace could revoke a lease in another namespace when the foreign lease_id was known, bypassing namespace ACL isolation. The affected lease lookup routing in vault/expiration.go allowed FetchLeaseInfo and loadEntry to resolve cached or stored lease data outside the request namespace, allowing a tenant that intentionally disclosed a lease identifier to have the lease and its underlying credential revoked by another tenant. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.5.

  • Sep 15, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-55770 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.5.5, OpenBao used EscapeLDAPValue, an RFC 4514 distinguished-name escaping function, where RFC 4515 LDAP search-filter escaping was required in sdk/helper/ldaputil/client.go GetUserDN. With the LDAP authentication backend configured for an Active Directory UPNDomain path or UserDN and UserAttr binding, an attacker-controlled username containing filter metacharacters could alter the search predicate and select a different directory entry because EscapeLDAPValue does not neutralize the characters handled by ldap.EscapeFilter. A resulting token could be associated with another LDAP identity and gain access to secrets, policies, or modification capabilities assigned to that identity. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.5.

  • Sep 15, 2026Kiwi TCMS is an open source test management system.CVE-2026-55630 · Other software · kiwitcms · reported by GitHubNone

Kiwi TCMS is an open source test management system. Prior to 16.1, TestCase.extra_link and TestPlan.extra_link accepted unsanitized user input and rendered stored values verbatim, creating an opportunity for cross-site scripting. Official Docker images and unmodified Kiwi TCMS middleware send a Content-Security-Policy header that blocks inline JavaScript, making exploitation difficult in default deployments, while customized deployments that weaken those security settings may remain vulnerable. Version 16.1 properly sanitizes both fields and resets existing database records that do not validate to null. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.

Kiwi TCMS is an open source test management system. Prior to 16.1, the account confirmation endpoint accepted an unvalidated next parameter, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to create a URL on a trusted Kiwi TCMS hostname that redirects a victim to an arbitrary external domain. The trusted origin can support credential-harvesting pages, bypass email security filters and link-reputation checks that allowlist the organization's domain, or deliver malware through a convincing account-confirmation lure. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.

  • Sep 15, 2026SingularityCE and SingularityPRO are open source container platforms.CVE-2026-47215 · Other software · sylabs · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8

SingularityCE and SingularityPRO are open source container platforms. Prior to SingularityCE 4.4.2 and SingularityPRO 4.3.9 and 4.1.14, incorrect path-string matching in the singularity.conf limit container paths directive allows a container in a sibling directory such as /data/safe-but-unsafe to be run when /data/safe is allowed under setuid mode. This permits a user to run a container from outside the administrator's configured path allowlist. Installations that do not use limit container paths are not affected. • Sep 15, 2026NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_v3_module module.CVE-2026-90439 · Network & remote access · F5 · reported by f5sirt@f5.comMedium 6.9

NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_v3_module module. When using HTTP/3 with OpenSSL versions <= OpenSSL 3.5.0 under certain configurations, a limited heap buffer overflow could happen while processing a TLS handshake. This can happen in a non-deterministic manner that is beyond the attacker's control. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart and/or limited data corruption. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX system or limited data corruption. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.

  • Sep 15, 2026Dragonfly is an open source P2P-based file distribution and image acceleration system.CVE-2026-54637 · Other software · dragonflyoss · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

Dragonfly is an open source P2P-based file distribution and image acceleration system. Prior to 2.4.4-rc.3, the scheduler's default unauthenticated v1 gRPC flow accepts attacker-controlled PeerHost.Ip and PeerHost.DownPort values through RegisterPeerTask and ReportPeerResult, storeHost copies those values into resource.Host, and handlePeerSuccess invokes Peer.DownloadTinyFile() for a TINY task. DownloadTinyFile() in scheduler/resource/standard/peer.go builds an HTTP GET request from the supplied address without destination validation, allowing a remote attacker to probe loopback, link-local, and private services and place up to TinyFileSize, 128 bytes, of a response in Task.DirectPiece for later retrieval. PeerHost.DownPort is restricted to ports 1024 through 65534, and the issue provides read SSRF rather than remote code execution. The remediation blocks loopback and link-local targets, while RFC1918 destinations remain reachable because IsGlobalUnicast accepts private ranges. This issue is fixed in 2.4.4-rc.3.

  • Sep 15, 2026Pipelines-as-Code is a CI/CD system that lets users define Tekton pipelines in source code repositories.CVE-2026-54168 · Other software · tektoncd · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Pipelines-as-Code is a CI/CD system that lets users define Tekton pipelines in source code repositories. Prior to 0.37.8, 0.39.6, 0.42.1, and 0.48.0, a GitHub App installation token created during webhook processing is not scoped to the repository that triggered the event when the App is installed across multiple repositories. A user with push access to one repository can submit a PipelineRun containing a pipelinesascode.tekton.dev/task remote task annotation that targets a private repository in the same installation. When ScopeTokenToListOfRepos returns no explicit scope, the missing triggering repository ID leaves the token able to access the entire installation. Pipelines-as-Code resolves and inlines the remote private task with that token, disclosing the repository's Tekton definitions. The demonstrated impact is read-only and does not provide write access. This issue is fixed in versions 0.37.8, 0.39.6, 0.42.1, and 0.48.0.

Pipelines-as-Code is a CI/CD system that lets users define Tekton pipelines in source code repositories. Prior to 0.37.8, 0.39.6, 0.42.1, and 0.48.0, the GitHub App provider accepts X-GitHub-Enterprise-Host as the API host while processing webhook events containing an installation.id, before webhook signature validation or confirmation that the host matches the repository URL in the signed payload. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach the webhook endpoint can select an attacker-controlled host and cause the controller to send a locally signed GitHub App JWT to that service. The exposed JWT may be used to attempt to mint installation access tokens during its validity window, subject to the GitHub App installation and permissions. The incoming webhook installation-lookup path is also affected, but exploitation of that path requires the valid incoming webhook secret for the target Repository CR. This issue is fixed in versions 0.37.8, 0.39.6, 0.42.1, and 0.48.0.

  • Sep 15, 2026Dragonfly is an open source P2P-based file distribution and image acceleration system.CVE-2026-49254 · Other software · dragonflyoss · reported by GitHubLow 2.9

Dragonfly is an open source P2P-based file distribution and image acceleration system. Prior to 2.4.4, manager/router/router.go registers GET /api/v1/oauth and GET /api/v1/oauth/:id without jwt.MiddlewareFunc() or RBAC(), while manager/handlers/oauth.go returns models.Oauth records and manager/models/oauth.go exposes Oauth.ClientSecret as client_secret in JSON. When an administrator has configured a GitHub or Google OAuth provider, an unauthenticated network client can reach GetOauth or GetOauths, load the stored models.Oauth record, and obtain the provider's client secret, client identifier, and redirect URL. The earlier GHSA-j8hf-cp34-g4j7 remediation protected the /jobs group only and did not protect these OAuth GET handlers. Disclosure of client_secret can enable abuse of the configured identity-provider integration, subject to the provider's redirect URI restrictions. This issue is fixed in 2.4.4.

pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python. Prior to 0.5.0b3.dev101, EventManager in src/pyload/core/managers/event_manager.py appends a Client object to the clients list for each unique uuid submitted to the authenticated getEvents API endpoint, but get_events does not invoke the available clean method to remove inactive clients. An authenticated user can repeatedly submit unique UUID values, causing retained client objects and process memory to grow without bound even after requests stop. • Sep 15, 2026pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python.CVE-2026-48737 · Other software · pyload · reported by GitHubMedium 4.9

pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python. Prior to 0.5.0b3.dev101, is_global_address in src/pyload/core/utils/web/check.py relies on Python's global-address classification without examining IPv4 destinations embedded in 6to4 or NAT64 IPv6 addresses. A low-privileged user can submit an IPv6 literal through parse_urls to the pre-resolution is_global_host guard. Because host_to_ip is pinned to AF_INET, that guard does not evaluate a hostname's AAAA result. Separately, curl resolves hostnames before the pycurl PREREQFUNC in src/pyload/core/network/http/http_request.py applies the same vulnerable is_global_address check to the actual connection address, so a transition-form AAAA result can be permitted even when it terminates at an embedded loopback, private, CGNAT, or link-local IPv4 address. Exploitation requires the pyLoad host to route the applicable transition mechanism, including 6to4 on affected Python 3.9 through 3.11 deployments or NAT64 on a network with a NAT64 gateway. Successful exploitation can enable internal-network reconnaissance, timing-based confirmation, limited service disruption, or cloud metadata disclosure where the wrapped address is r

  • Sep 15, 2026free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network.CVE-2026-47780 · Other software · free5gc · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. In 4.2.3 and earlier, HandleCreateEeSubscriptions and HandleQueryeesubscriptions in free5gc/udr internal/sbi/api_datarepository.go validate the ueId path value with a regular expression whose final .+ alternative accepts every non-empty string instead of restricting identifiers to supported SUPI and GPSI formats. An actor with network reachability to the UDR SBI can submit a non-3GPP identifier to /nudr-dr/v2/subscription-data/{ueId}/context-data/ee-subscriptions, causing the identifier to pass validation and enter the normal create or query flow. The advisory does not independently establish whether authentication is required. Invalid identifiers can be persisted and retrieved as subscription records, enabling unauthorized data creation, UDR namespace pollution, persistent subscriber-metadata corruption, and interference with downstream components that trust stored identifiers to use valid 3GPP formats. The exposure is most relevant in lab, test, or loosely segmented service-based-interface deployments where direct UDR access is possible.

Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. Prior to 2.59.0, the KIMAI_SESSION cookie issued after password verification but before TOTP completion is accepted by every /api route because config/packages/security.yaml protects the API with IS_AUTHENTICATED and App\API\Authentication\ApiRequestMatcher routes an existing session through the main firewall. A Scheb TwoFactorToken satisfies that access rule, and App\Voter\ApiVoter grants API access to its User, allowing an attacker with a valid account password to use authenticated REST API operations without entering the second factor even though web routes remain blocked. • Sep 14, 2026ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform.CVE-2026-76081 · Other software · zitadel · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform. Prior to version 4.16.0, a bug in how ZITADEL updates permissions when multiple project roles are deleted at the same time can cause some user permissions to be missed. This issue specifically affects User Grants on Granted Projects (projects shared between different organizations), potentially allowing users to keep access rights that were supposed to be completely removed. This issue has been fully resolved in version 4.16.0. There are no configuration workarounds. Upgrading to a patched version is the only way to trigger the automatic cleanup migration. Those who cannot upgrade immediately should manually review user permissions specifically for Granted Projects where multiple roles were recently deleted.

  • Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53719 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, translateSecurityPolicyForRoute in internal/gatewayapi/securitypolicy.go dereferences a nil authorization value when a namespace-scoped tenant creates a SecurityPolicy targeting a TCPRoute and omits spec.authorization. The persistent object triggers the panic on every reconcile; recovery in message/watchutil.go keeps the process alive but unwinds the runner/runner.go handle callback, stalling controller-wide xDS and infrastructure intermediate-representation publishing until an administrator deletes the object. The data plane continues to serve the last known good configuration while publication is stalled. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, an HTTPRoute can use an extension-managed custom backendRef to reference a backend resource in another namespace without a matching Gateway API ReferenceGrant in the target namespace. The custom-backend branch in internal/gatewayapi/route.go omits validateBackendNamespace, allowing the route-owning namespace to bind to and use the resource without the backend namespace owner's consent and violating the Gateway API cross-namespace authorization model. • Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53716 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, getFileFromGZ in internal/wasm/httpfetcher.go calls io.ReadAll on a gzip.Reader without limiting decompressed output when a tenant-controlled EnvoyExtensionPolicy.spec.wasm[].code.http.url points to a reachable compressed Wasm payload. The 256 MiB compressed-input cap does not constrain the expanded size, no operator Wasm URL allowlist exists, and the optional sha256 check occurs only after decompression, so a comparatively small gzip stream can force a multi-gigabyte allocation in the shared controller. The resulting out-of-memory termination restarts the controller, re-reconciles the persistent custom resource, and can create a persistent cross-tenant control-plane outage. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, HTTPServer.ServeHTTP in internal/wasm/httpserver.go reads the plain mappingPath2Cache map without synchronization while HTTPServer.Get writes the same map during EnvoyExtensionPolicy translation. An attacker with pod-network access to unauthenticated port 18002 and tenant permission to churn policies with distinct Wasm URLs can flood GET requests until a per-request reader overlaps a writer. Go's concurrent map read and write detection invokes runtime.throw, which the net/http connection recovery cannot catch, terminating the controller process and causing a timing-dependent, cross-tenant control-plane denial of service until Kubernetes restarts the pod. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, the xDS gRPC server in GatewayNamespaceMode, configured through provider.kubernetes.deploy.type=GatewayNamespace, installs a JWT StreamInterceptor but no UnaryInterceptor, leaving every unary Fetch RPC unauthenticated. The streaming interceptor also authenticates only discoveryv3.DeltaDiscoveryRequest messages; a discoveryv3.DiscoveryRequest used by the State-of-the-World protocol fails the type assertion and returns success without JWT validation. Any pod that can reach port 18000 can use the unauthenticated unary or State-of-the-World paths to retrieve TLS private keys through StreamSecrets, all xDS resources through StreamAggregatedResources, backend endpoints through StreamClusters or StreamEndpoints, and routing configuration through StreamRoutes or StreamListeners. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, to_absolute_normalized_path in internal/gatewayapi/luavalidator/security.lua does not collapse redundant separators before is_critical_path evaluates Lua submitted through EnvoyExtensionPolicy during default Strict validation. Linux resolves a double-slash absolute path as the corresponding single-slash path, but the validator does not match the redundant-separator form, allowing submitted Lua to read arbitrary files from the gateway controller pod. Exposed files can include Kubernetes service-account tokens, TLS certificates, and process environment data, and the disclosed credentials can provide access to sensitive Kubernetes API Server or Gateway xDS server information. • Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53717 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, internal/wasm/imagefetcher.go follows tenant-controlled EnvoyExtensionPolicy spec.wasm[].code.image.url values to Docker or OCI Wasm layers, and extractWasmPluginBinary uses the untrusted tar-header h.Size value to allocate memory before validating the entry name or declared size. A small PAX or GNU tar header can therefore claim a multi-terabyte entry even though the surrounding LimitReader restricts only the bytes read from the stream, and no registry allowlist prevents a permitted tenant from selecting an attacker-controlled registry that the controller can reach. The allocation is attempted for every tar entry and can cause an unrecoverable Go runtime out-of-memory failure; because the custom resource persists, reconciliation repeatedly crash-loops the shared controller and causes a single-request, non-volumetric, cluster-wide control-plane denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

DotVVM is an open source MVVM framework for web applications. Prior to 4.2.11, 4.3.15, and 5.0.0-preview09-final, AuthorizeActionFilter performs no authorization because its explicit ICommandActionFilter.OnCommandExecutingAsync, IViewModelActionFilter.OnViewModelCreatedAsync, and IPresenterActionFilter.OnPresenterExecutingAsync implementations return completed tasks instead of invoking the corresponding checks. Applications relying on this filter can therefore expose protected commands, view models, or presenters to unauthorized requests without any special bypass technique. SpiceDB is an open source database system for creating and managing security-critical application permissions. From 1.34.0 until 1.54.0, SpiceDB can return PERMISSIONSHIP_HAS_PERMISSION instead of PERMISSIONSHIP_CONDITIONAL_PERMISSION or PERMISSIONSHIP_NO_PERMISSION because checkRequestToKey() and checkRequestToKeyWithCanonical() in internal/dispatch/keys/computed.go omit CheckHints when constructing dispatch Check cache keys. The incorrect result requires a permission combining relations with intersection or exclusion, a subject reachable through caveated and non-caveated branches, LookupResources with a context parameter running concurrently with CheckPermission or CheckBulkPermissions for the same resource and subject, and an enabled dispatch result cache. Under these conditions, a result computed for one hint set can poison the cache entry used by a semantically different authorization check, allowing permission without satisfying the caveat. This issue is fixed in version 1.54.0.

docx4j is an open source Java library for creating, editing, and saving OpenXML packages, including DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX files. Prior to 11.5.14, PropertyResolver and adjacent helpers recursively follow the WordprocessingML w:basedOn style inheritance chain without cycle detection. A well-formed DOCX containing mutually based styles causes unbounded recursion in PropertyResolver.fillPPrStack and related effective-style resolution paths, resulting in StackOverflowError. Server-side conversion and table-of-contents processing of an untrusted document can terminate a worker thread, degrade a thread pool, or deny service, although isolation in disposable workers or safe containment of StackOverflowError can reduce the practical effect. The fix adds cyclic-style tracking and CyclicStylesException handling. This issue is fixed in version 11.5.14.

containerd is an open-source container runtime. Prior to 1.7.35, 2.0.12, 2.2.8, and 2.3.5, containerd on Linux with the CRI plugin enabled can indefinitely block the drainExecSyncIO goroutine in internal/cri/server/container_execsync.go when CRI ExecSync is used by exec probes or lifecycle hooks that launch long-lived background child processes retaining standard input and output pipes. The input and output drain phase has no default timeout and did not stop when the request context was canceled, so repeated ExecSync invocations can accumulate blocked goroutines and host memory. The resulting resource exhaustion can cause the OOM killer to terminate containerd, leaving the container runtime unavailable until restart. Deployments not using containerd's CRI implementation and containers not running on Linux are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.35, 2.0.12, 2.2.8, and 2.3.5.

OpenTelemetry, also known as OTel, is a vendor-neutral open source Observability framework for instrumenting, generating, collecting, and exporting telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. Prior to 0.154.0, the Sentry exporter reads the remote OTLP sender-controlled service.name resource attribute in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_exporter.go through extractProjectSlug and getOrCreateProjectEndpoint, passes the raw project slug to GetOTLPEndpoints and GetProjectKeys in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_client.go, and interpolates it into a Sentry API URL without applying projectSlugRegexp through validateRoutingConfig at runtime in exporter/sentryexporter/config.go. Special characters can turn the expected path suffix into query data in all deployments or introduce slash and dot segments that traverse paths when the Sentry deployment normalizes them, while the Collector attaches its operator-configured bearer token to the request. A successful request can reach token-authorized administrative, organization, member, or key endpoints within the configured Sentry organization, and an attacker-controlled project slug can redirect subsequently exported telemetry.
