  • Apr 8, 2026AIL framework is an open-source platform to collect, crawl, process and analyse unstructured data.CVE-2026-39416 · Other software · ail-project · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

AIL framework is an open-source platform to collect, crawl, process and analyse unstructured data. Prior to 6.8, a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the modal item preview functionality. When item content longer than 800 characters was processed, attacker-controlled content was returned without an explicit text/plain content type, allowing the browser to interpret the response as active HTML. This could result in execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of an authenticated user viewing a crafted item. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.8.

  • Apr 8, 2026A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the Print Format functionality of ERPNext v16.0.1 and Frappe Framework v16.1.1, where user-suppliedCVE-2026-31017 · Other software · Frappe · reported by MITRECritical 9.1

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the Print Format functionality of ERPNext v16.0.1 and Frappe Framework v16.1.1, where user-supplied HTML is insufficiently sanitized before being rendered into PDF. When generating PDFs from user-controlled HTML content, the application allows the inclusion of HTML elements such as <iframe> that reference external resources. The PDF rendering engine automatically fetches these resources on the server side. An attacker can abuse this behavior to force the server to make arbitrary HTTP requests to internal services, including cloud metadata endpoints, potentially leading to sensitive information disclosure.

  • Apr 8, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-39410 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.12.12, a discrepancy between browser cookie parsing and parse() handling allows cookie prefix protections to be bypassed. Cookie names that are treated as distinct by the browser may be normalized to the same key by parse(), allowing attacker-controlled cookies to override legitimate ones. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.12.12.

  • Apr 8, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-39409 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.12.12, ipRestriction() does not canonicalize IPv4-mapped IPv6 client addresses (e.g. ::ffff:127.0.0.1) before applying IPv4 allow or deny rules. In environments such as Node.js dual-stack, this can cause IPv4 rules to fail to match, leading to unintended authorization behavior. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.12.12.

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.12.12, a path traversal issue in toSSG() allows files to be written outside the configured output directory during static site generation. When using dynamic route parameters via ssgParams, specially crafted values can cause generated file paths to escape the intended output directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.12.12.

Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.12.12, a path handling inconsistency in serveStatic allows protected static files to be accessed by using repeated slashes (//) in the request path. When route-based middleware (e.g., /admin/*) is used for authorization, the router may not match paths containing repeated slashes, while serveStatic resolves them as normalized paths. This can lead to a middleware bypass. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.12.12.

  • Apr 7, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-34781 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubLow 2.8

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.5, 40.8.5, 41.1.0, and 42.0.0-alpha.5, apps that call clipboard.readImage() may be vulnerable to a denial of service. If the system clipboard contains image data that fails to decode, the resulting null bitmap is passed unchecked to image construction, triggering a controlled abort and crashing the process. Apps are only affected if they call clipboard.readImage(). Apps that do not read images from the clipboard are not affected. This issue does not allow memory corruption or code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 39.8.5, 40.8.5, 41.1.0, and 42.0.0-alpha.5.

  • Apr 7, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-34765 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubMedium 6

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.5, 40.8.5, 41.1.0, and 42.0.0-alpha.5, when a renderer calls window.open() with a target name, Electron did not correctly scope the named-window lookup to the opener's browsing context group. A renderer could navigate an existing child window that was opened by a different, unrelated renderer if both used the same target name. If that existing child was created with more permissive webPreferences (via setWindowOpenHandler's overrideBrowserWindowOptions), content loaded by the second renderer inherits those permissions. Apps are only affected if they open multiple top-level windows with differing trust levels and use setWindowOpenHandler to grant child windows elevated webPreferences such as a privileged preload script. Apps that do not elevate child window privileges, or that use a single top-level window, are not affected. Apps that additionally grant nodeIntegration: true or sandbox: false to child windows (contrary to the security recommendations) may be exposed to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 39.8.5, 40.8.5, 41.1.0, and 42.0.0-alpha.5

  • Apr 7, 2026RedwoodSDK is a server-first React framework.CVE-2026-39371 · Other software · redwoodjs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

RedwoodSDK is a server-first React framework. From 1.0.0-beta.50 to 1.0.5, erver functions exported from "use server" files could be invoked via GET requests, bypassing their intended HTTP method. In cookie-authenticated applications, this allowed cross-site GET navigations to trigger state-changing functions, because browsers send SameSite=Lax cookies on top-level GET requests. This affected all server functions -- both serverAction() handlers and bare exported functions in "use server" files. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.6.

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. From 33.0.0-alpha.1 to before 39.8.5, 40.8.5, 41.1.0, and 42.0.0-alpha.5, apps that use offscreen rendering with GPU shared textures may be vulnerable to a use-after-free. Under certain conditions, the release() callback provided on a paint event texture can outlive its backing native state, and invoking it after that point dereferences freed memory in the main process, which may lead to a crash or memory corruption. Apps are only affected if they use offscreen rendering with webPreferences.offscreen: { useSharedTexture: true }. Apps that do not enable shared-texture offscreen rendering are not affected. To mitigate this issue, ensure texture.release() is called promptly after the texture has been consumed, before the texture object becomes unreachable. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.1, 40.8.1, and 41.0.0, on Windows, app.setAsDefaultProtocolClient(protocol) did not validate the protocol name before writing to the registry. Apps that pass untrusted input as the protocol name may allow an attacker to write to arbitrary subkeys under HKCU\Software\Classes\, potentially hijacking existing protocol handlers. Apps are only affected if they call app.setAsDefaultProtocolClient() with a protocol name derived from external or untrusted input. Apps that use a hardcoded protocol name are not affected. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.1, 40.8.1, and 41.0.0.

  • Apr 3, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-34772 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8, apps that allow downloads and programmatically destroy sessions may be vulnerable to a use-after-free. If a session is torn down while a native save-file dialog is open for a download, dismissing the dialog dereferences freed memory, which may lead to a crash or memory corruption. Apps that do not destroy sessions at runtime, or that do not permit downloads, are not affected. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8.

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8, apps that register an asynchronous session.setPermissionRequestHandler() may be vulnerable to a use-after-free when handling fullscreen, pointer-lock, or keyboard-lock permission requests. If the requesting frame navigates or the window closes while the permission handler is pending, invoking the stored callback dereferences freed memory, which may lead to a crash or memory corruption. Apps that do not set a permission request handler, or whose handler responds synchronously, are not affected. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8.

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.1, 40.8.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8, apps that use the powerMonitor module may be vulnerable to a use-after-free. After the native PowerMonitor object is garbage-collected, the associated OS-level resources (a message window on Windows, a shutdown handler on macOS) retain dangling references. A subsequent session-change event (Windows) or system shutdown (macOS) dereferences freed memory, which may lead to a crash or memory corruption. All apps that access powerMonitor events (suspend, resume, lock-screen, etc.) are potentially affected. The issue is not directly renderer-controllable. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.1, 40.8.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8.

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8, an undocumented commandLineSwitches webPreference allowed arbitrary switches to be appended to the renderer process command line. Apps that construct webPreferences by spreading untrusted configuration objects may inadvertently allow an attacker to inject switches that disable renderer sandboxing or web security controls. Apps are only affected if they construct webPreferences from external or untrusted input without an allowlist. Apps that use a fixed, hardcoded webPreferences object are not affected. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8.

  • Apr 3, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-34768 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubLow 3.9

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.1, 40.8.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8, on Windows, app.setLoginItemSettings({openAtLogin: true}) wrote the executable path to the Run registry key without quoting. If the app is installed to a path containing spaces, an attacker with write access to an ancestor directory may be able to cause a different executable to run at login instead of the intended app. On a default Windows install, standard system directories are protected against writes by standard users, so exploitation typically requires a non-standard install location. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.1, 40.8.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8.

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.3, 40.8.3, and 41.0.3, apps that register custom protocol handlers via protocol.handle() / protocol.registerSchemesAsPrivileged() or modify response headers via webRequest.onHeadersReceived may be vulnerable to HTTP response header injection if attacker-controlled input is reflected into a response header name or value. An attacker who can influence a header value may be able to inject additional response headers, affecting cookies, content security policy, or cross-origin access controls. Apps that do not reflect external input into response headers are not affected. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.3, 40.8.3, and 41.0.3.

  • Apr 3, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-34766 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubLow 3.3

Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8, the select-usb-device event callback did not validate the chosen device ID against the filtered list that was presented to the handler. An app whose handler could be influenced to select a device ID outside the filtered set would grant access to a device that did not match the renderer's requested filters or was listed in exclusionFilters. The WebUSB security blocklist remained enforced regardless, so security-sensitive devices on the blocklist were not affected. The practical impact is limited to apps with unusual device-selection logic. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8.

  • Apr 3, 2026Mesop is a Python-based UI framework that allows users to build web applications.CVE-2026-34824 · Other software · mesop-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Mesop is a Python-based UI framework that allows users to build web applications. From version 1.2.3 to before version 1.2.5, an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability exists in the WebSocket implementation of the Mesop framework. An unauthenticated attacker can send a rapid succession of WebSocket messages, forcing the server to spawn an unbounded number of operating system threads. This leads to thread exhaustion and Out of Memory (OOM) errors, causing a complete Denial of Service (DoS) for any application built on the framework. This issue has been patched in version 1.2.5.

  • Apr 3, 2026FastMCP is the standard framework for building MCP applications.CVE-2026-27124 · Other software · jlowin · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

FastMCP is the standard framework for building MCP applications. Prior to version 3.2.0, while testing the GitHubProvider OAuth integration, which allows authentication to a FastMCP MCP server via a FastMCP OAuthProxy using GitHub OAuth, it was discovered that the FastMCP OAuthProxy does not properly validate the user's consent upon receiving the authorization code from GitHub. In combination with GitHub’s behavior of skipping the consent page for previously authorized clients, this introduces a Confused Deputy vulnerability. This issue has been patched in version 3.2.0.

FastMCP is the standard framework for building MCP applications. Prior to version 3.2.0, server names containing shell metacharacters (e.g., &) can cause command injection on Windows when passed to fastmcp install claude-code or fastmcp install gemini-cli. These install paths use subprocess.run() with a list argument, but on Windows the target CLIs often resolve to .cmd wrappers that are executed through cmd.exe, which interprets metacharacters in the flattened command string. This issue has been patched in version 3.2.0.

  • Apr 2, 2026Ash Framework is a declarative, extensible framework for building Elixir applications.CVE-2026-34593 · Other software · ash-project · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Ash Framework is a declarative, extensible framework for building Elixir applications. Prior to version 3.22.0, Ash.Type.Module.cast_input/2 unconditionally creates a new Erlang atom via Module.concat([value]) for any user-supplied binary string that starts with "Elixir.", before verifying whether the referenced module exists. Because Erlang atoms are never garbage-collected and the BEAM atom table has a hard default limit of approximately 1,048,576 entries, an attacker who can submit values to any resource attribute or argument of type :module can exhaust this table and crash the entire BEAM VM, taking down the application. This issue has been patched in version 3.22.0.
