  • Apr 16, 2026@fastify/middie versions 9.3.1 and earlier do not register inherited middleware directly on child plugin engine instances.CVE-2026-6270 · Other software · @fastify/middie · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbCritical 9.1

@fastify/middie versions 9.3.1 and earlier do not register inherited middleware directly on child plugin engine instances. When a Fastify application registers authentication middleware in a parent scope and then registers child plugins with @fastify/middie, the child scope does not inherit the parent middleware. This allows unauthenticated requests to reach routes defined in child plugin scopes, bypassing authentication and authorization checks. Upgrade to @fastify/middie 9.3.2 to fix this issue. There are no workarounds.

  • Apr 15, 2026Serendipity is a PHP-powered weblog engine.CVE-2026-39971 · Other software · s9y · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2

Serendipity is a PHP-powered weblog engine. In versions 2.6-beta2 and below, the email sending functionality in include/functions.inc.php inserts $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] directly into the Message-ID SMTP header without validation, and the existing sanitization function serendipity_isResponseClean() is not called on HTTP_HOST before embedding it. An attacker who can control the Host header during an email-triggering action such as comment notifications or subscription emails can inject arbitrary SMTP headers into outgoing emails. This enables identity spoofing, reply hijacking via manipulated Message-ID threading, and email reputation abuse through the attacker's domain being embedded in legitimate mail headers. This issue has been fixed in version 2.6.0.

Serendipity is a PHP-powered weblog engine. In versions 2.6-beta2 and below, the serendipity_setCookie() function in include/functions_config.inc.php uses $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] without validation as the domain parameter of setcookie(). An attacker who can influence the Host header at login time, such as via MITM, reverse proxy misconfiguration, or load balancer manipulation, can force authentication cookies including session tokens and auto-login tokens to be scoped to an attacker-controlled domain. This enables session fixation, token leakage to attacker-controlled infrastructure, and privilege escalation if an admin logs in under a poisoned Host header. This issue has been fixed in version 2.6.0.

openITCOCKPIT is an open source monitoring tool built for different monitoring engines. openITCOCKPIT Community Edition prior to version 5.5.2 contains a command injection vulnerability that allows an authenticated user with permission to add or modify hosts to execute arbitrary OS commands on the monitoring backend. The vulnerability arises because user-controlled host attributes (specifically the host address) are expanded into monitoring command templates without validation, escaping, or quoting. These templates are later executed by the monitoring engine (Nagios/Icinga) via a shell, resulting in remote code execution. Version 5.5.2 patches the issue.

  • Apr 13, 2026JetEngine: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-4352 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The JetEngine plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the Custom Content Type (CCT) REST API search endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.6.1. This is due to the `_cct_search` parameter being interpolated directly into a SQL query string via `sprintf()` without sanitization or use of `$wpdb->prepare()`. WordPress REST API's `wp_unslash()` call on `$_GET` strips the `wp_magic_quotes()` protection, allowing single-quote-based injection. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The Custom Content Types module must be enabled with at least one CCT configured with a public REST GET endpoint for exploitation.

  • Apr 9, 2026An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on specific EX and QFX CVE-2026-33781 · Network & remote access · Juniper Networks · reported by sirt@juniper.netHigh 7.1

An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on specific EX and QFX Series devices allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a complete Denial of Service (DoS). On EX4k, and QFX5k platforms configured as service-provider edge devices, if L2PT is enabled on the UNI and VSTP is enabled on NNI in VXLAN scenarios, receiving VSTP BPDUs on UNI leads to packet buffer allocation failures, resulting in the device to not pass traffic anymore until it is manually recovered with a restart. This issue affects Junos OS: * 24.4 releases before 24.4R2, * 25.2 releases before 25.2R1-S1, 25.2R2. An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to bypass the configured firewall filter and access the control-plane of the device. On MX platforms with MPC10, MPC11, LC4800 or LC9600 line cards, and MX304, firewall filters applied on a loopback interface lo0.n (where n is a non-0 number) don't get executed when lo0.n is in the global VRF / default routing-instance. • Apr 8, 2026LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript.CVE-2026-39859 · Other software · harttle · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.25.3, liquidjs 10.25.0 documents root as constraining filenames passed to renderFile() and parseFile(), but top-level file loads do not enforce that boundary. LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.25.4, the sort_natural filter bypasses the ownPropertyOnly security option, allowing template authors to extract values of prototype-inherited properties through a sorting side-channel attack. Applications relying on ownPropertyOnly: true as a security boundary (e.g., multi-tenant template systems) are exposed to information disclosure of sensitive prototype properties such as API keys and tokens. • Apr 8, 2026LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript.CVE-2026-35525 · Other software · harttle · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.25.3, for {% include %}, {% render %}, and {% layout %}, LiquidJS checks whether the candidate path is inside the configured partials or layouts roots before reading it. That check is path-based, not realpath-based. Because of that, a file like partials/link.liquid passes the directory containment check as long as its pathname is under the allowed root. If link.liquid is actually a symlink to a file outside the allowed root, the filesystem follows the symlink when the file is opened and LiquidJS renders the external target. So the restriction is applied to the path string that was requested, not to the file that is actually read. This matters in environments where an attacker can place templates or otherwise influence files under a trusted template root, including uploaded themes, extracted archives, mounted content, or repository-controlled template trees. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.25.3.

  • Apr 8, 2026LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript.CVE-2026-34166 · Other software · harttle · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.25.3, the replace filter in LiquidJS incorrectly accounts for memory usage when the memoryLimit option is enabled. It charges str.length + pattern.length + replacement.length bytes to the memory limiter, but the actual output from str.split(pattern).join(replacement) can be quadratically larger when the pattern occurs many times in the input string. This allows an attacker who controls template content to bypass the memoryLimit DoS protection with approximately 2,500x amplification, potentially causing out-of-memory conditions. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.25.3.

A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain Multicluster Engine for Kubernetes images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container.

  • Apr 7, 2026dbt enables data analysts and engineers to transform their data using the same practices that software engineers use to build applications.CVE-2026-39382 · Other software · dbt-labs · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

dbt enables data analysts and engineers to transform their data using the same practices that software engineers use to build applications. Inside the reusable workflow dbt-labs/actions/blob/main/.github/workflows/open-issue-in-repo.yml, the prep job uses peter-evans/find-comment to search for an existing comment indicating that a docs issue has already been opened. The output steps.issue_comment.outputs.comment-body is then interpolated directly into a bash if statement. Because comment-body is attacker-controlled text and is inserted into shell syntax without escaping, a malicious comment body can break out of the quoted string and inject arbitrary shell commands. Chyrp Lite is an ultra-lightweight blogging engine. Prior to 2026.01, an IDOR / Mass Assignment issue exists in the Post model that allows authenticated users with post editing permissions (Edit Post, Edit Draft, Edit Own Post, Edit Own Draft) to modify posts they do not own and do not have permission to edit. By passing internal class properties such as id into the post_attributes payload, an attacker can alter the object being instantiated. As a result, further actions are performed on another user’s post rather than the attacker’s own post, effectively enabling post takeover. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.01.

  • Apr 6, 2026vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs).CVE-2026-34756 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.1.0 to before 0.19.0, a Denial of Service vulnerability exists in the vLLM OpenAI-compatible API server. Due to the lack of an upper bound validation on the n parameter in the ChatCompletionRequest and CompletionRequest Pydantic models, an unauthenticated attacker can send a single HTTP request with an astronomically large n value. This completely blocks the Python asyncio event loop and causes immediate Out-Of-Memory crashes by allocating millions of request object copies in the heap before the request even reaches the scheduling queue. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0.

  • Apr 6, 2026vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs).CVE-2026-34755 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.7.0 to before 0.19.0, the VideoMediaIO.load_base64() method at vllm/multimodal/media/video.py splits video/jpeg data URLs by comma to extract individual JPEG frames, but does not enforce a frame count limit. The num_frames parameter (default: 32), which is enforced by the load_bytes() code path, is completely bypassed in the video/jpeg base64 path. An attacker can send a single API request containing thousands of comma-separated base64-encoded JPEG frames, causing the server to decode all frames into memory and crash with OOM. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0.

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.16.0 to before 0.19.0, a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in download_bytes_from_url allows any actor who can control batch input JSON to make the vLLM batch runner issue arbitrary HTTP/HTTPS requests from the server, without any URL validation or domain restrictions. This can be used to target internal services (e.g. cloud metadata endpoints or internal HTTP APIs) reachable from the vLLM host. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0.
